Pop -up play audioClip not in IE but Netscape--why????

Question

Hello,
My mission is simple to call audioClip in applet from a pop up frame.
It works in Netscape (6.0) but IE.
Any ideas?

Hello,
I am tired of this. I tracked down to the problem and I could not found the answer.
The problem is Applet.getAudioClip().
or Applet.play(URL, name);
Both of them got:
java.lang.NegativeArraySizeException
by looking the java console.
The file at www_root with name: goodbye.au.
So the code is:
try{
AudioClip adc = getAudioClip(getCodeBase(), "goodbye.au");
          catch(Exception e)
               System.out.println("open link: " + e.toString());
               adc = null;
