Portal calling SAP t-code issue

Hi all,
I am now want to put the program to the portal. I know i can pass the t-code for doing it.
However, if i want to pass the portal user ID (i.e.not SAP GUI UserID) to that t-code, how can i achieve it ?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Addison

Thanks Saurabh.
Actually, i am not going to let user to login in the t-code page, i will use the same SAP GUI account for the connection between portal and SAP. So, when the user login to the portal, he/she will login once. Later, when he/she want to go to that t-code page, it will not ask for login again. However, i would like to pass the portal user name to the t-code for processing. I dont know whether it is possible to do it. Could you please advise, many Thanks.
Best Regards,
Addison

    Hi Pavani,
    Well a good answer to your query would be guixt mobile suite which actually makes it possible to use transactions in mobile.

  • Calling SAP Transaction from BSP

    I wonder whether it is possible to call SAP transaction from BSP application and pass to it some data; e.g., PO# when calling VA02?
    The called transaction could appear in a separate MS IE Window (like in some Portal applications) or in SAP GUI.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thank you in advance

    I have launched the Java SAPGui from BSP pages before.  I used SNC so that the users were logged on via Single Sign On.  I store the Java Gui in the Mime directory.  You can force the startup transaction.  Theorectically you could also Gui Scripting to try and control the Gui and force in the default value for your PO field.  I have not tried that however.  You will probably want to check the Service Marketplace for documents on the Gui Scripting.  The following is the code from my BSP page to launch the Java Gui in the Browser as an applet:

  • Communication error CPIC return code 019 SAP return  code 728. Delta error

    Hello Experts,
    Would just like to ask if what we suspect is correct. We have running deltas in process chains occurring every early morning. However, upon checking the delta that should have run today, I found that the delta did not push through. I only found this one dump in SM21 that I think is related to the issue:
    MNo.
    R49 Communication error, CPIC return code 019, SAP return code 728
    R5A > Conversation ID: 61442686
    R49 Communication error, CPIC return code 019, SAP return code 728
    R64 > CPI-C function: CMSEND(SAP)
    R5A > Conversation ID: 61443687
    R64 > CPI-C function: CMSEND(SAP)
    R49 Communication error, CPIC return code 019, SAP return code 728
    R5A > Conversation ID: 61444687
    R64 > CPI-C function: CMSEND(SAP)
    Now we think that the delta did not push through because we are encountering issues with regards to our SAP R/3 system (the source system) and it is currently inaccessible. Did the delta not push through because of the issues and inaccessibility/uber slow processing of our SAP R/3 server? And is the error specified above illustrating this? Any explanation would help. I have already tried looking for similar issues but cannot find anything. Please help. Thanks!

    Hi
    As far I know, The SAP Gateway carries out CPI-C services within the SAP world, which are based on TCP/IP. These services enable SAP Systems and external programs to communicate with one another.
    CPI-C services can be used either in the ABAP program or for the external programs via the interfaces.
    As RFC (remote function call) is based on CPI-C, all RFC connections also pass through the SAP Gateway.
    Errors When Starting Remote Programs Using Remote Shell
    When you use remote shell to start CPIC programs on other hosts, the following conditions apply:
    The (gateway) UNIX ID must be available on the other host
    The gateway host must be entered in the remote host in the file ".rhosts". This file must be located in the HOME directory of the (gateway) UNIX ID.
    The program you want to start must be installed in the HOME directory of the (gateway) UNIX ID on the remote host.

  • Com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap doesn't work

    Hi all,
    I needed to change the file 'WinGuiRenderLayer.properties'
    I found the par under 3 locations:
    d:\usr\sap\SPD\jc00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap
    d:\usr\sap\SPD\jc00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd
    d:\usr\sap\SPD\jc00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\temp
    I changed the file in those locations (I removed the bak extension and restarted the server).
    Also, I made sure that the pars/directory contains the jar files.
    After I restarted the server the application integrator iviews doesn't work (Web Dynpro, Transaction...).
    Before I did the changes, I backed up the original pars/directory.
    Copying the original pars didn't help.
    How can I solve this?

    3) Clear the pcd cache
    4) Upload the par (redploy)\

  • BI portal VS  SAP portal

    Hello,
    We are thinking about implementing the BI 7.0 and publishing some reports with it in Portal. Question is should we use the BI portal or SAP EP portal?  We are already having SAP EP 7.0 installed and BI portal (with BI) is also installed.
    For performance reason -- we should use the BI portal for report  and links these reports  in main SAP portal so user has one single point of to see the report from SAP EP.
    My thoughts on performance on single source of (main) portal for BI and all the other stuff on main Portal  should not be an issue because all the work for querying the reports will be done in BI server, Portal is only show the reports ? is this assumption is correct?
    If we have two portal, as system admin we have to maintain two different portals,
    What be the best approach (pro and cons) using the BI Portal VS SAP Portal?
    Please advice.

  • Calling SAP Transaactions in Webdynpro ABAP

    Hi All
    I have a requirement, i have 4 link to actions in view, and created different views for all links. I creat viewuielement container in mainview and i embed all views in that. Now I want to call sap transaction when i click perticular link to action and i have to display perticular transaction in that view. is it possible in webdynpro or only in portal side.
    Thanks
    Madhan.

    Hi Madan,
    Yes It is possible in WDA as well as in Portal.
    we can use ITS for tat. In View Container UI element call view in which u have to create  IFrame then set this url to the IFrame :
    http://<domain>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=800&~TRANSACTION=<transaction name>
    since IFrame is deprecated u can call this in external window using Window Manager.
    reply me if u need some more clarifications..
    Thanks,

  • Integration of ESS Portal and SAP

    Hi,
    Project Systems report  RPSISKB000 - Capacity Requirements Overview  (t-code CN50N) is a report works correctly when analyzing time that was entered via the R/3 GUI in transaction CAT2 u2013 Time Sheet: Maintain Times.  However, when executing against time entered via Employee Self Service (ESS) Time Sheet Entry,  the u201CActual Worku201D hours are not pulling through to the report.
    I believe this is because when time is entered via ESS Time Sheet Entry  the fields Capacity ID (KAPID) and Split Number (SPLIT) in table CATSDB are not populated.   These two fields are populated when time is entered via the R/3 GUI in transaction CAT2.
    I need how to populate these two fields when time is entered via ESS. How data flows from ESS Portal to SAP.
    How SAP and ESS Portal integrated for data flow in between.
    Thanks,

    You have to ensure that these fields in The CATS profile are set as input in CAC2 ie fields should be input and not is display

  • Calling SAP scripts from WEBDYNPRO

    Hi
    We need to call SAP scripts from WebDynpro application.  As per my understanding we need to do following steps
    Create a new RFC function module and create sap script output in PDF format.For this
        - use OPEN_FORM , by assigning TDGETOTF='X' in the Options(Structure
          ITCPO).
        - call function module CLOSE_FORM with option OTFDATA
        - convert OTF data to PDF by using function module CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF

    Hi,
    You can call by creating external window method.
    create LINK to URL or LINK TO ACTION according to requirement, for this. write code in onaction of that.
    data: iv_url type string value 'http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=*se38 RS38M-PROGRAMM=rsparam;DYNP_OKCODE=SHOP'.
      data: api_component  type ref to if_wd_component,
              window_manager type ref to if_wd_window_manager,
              window type ref to if_wd_window.
      api_component = wd_comp_controller->wd_get_api( ).
      window_manager = api_component->get_window_manager( ).
      window = window_manager->create_external_window(
                     url = iv_url
                     modal = abap_false ).
      window->open( ).

  • Custom transaction attached to SAP delivered code

    HI
    We have a requirement that all custom program and transactions are secure. Usually we have the developers add an auth check statement to the program and add that check to the custom t-code in SU24.
    today I have the situation that we are using SAP delivered code and attaching a custom transaction. Since we don't want to modify the SAP code, how is it possible to get any check on the transaction? I know that SU24 won't force the check unless the program is changed. So is there any way to have any type of auth object checked? Or is this a situation where no check would be needed and no objects added to the role when the new tcode is added? (SE93?)
    Hope that makes sense!
    Thanks
