Portal30 only user that can see Other Providers

Which privilege am I missing to allow users to see the portlets of Other Providers to add to their pages?

When a user is customizing a page and wants to add more portlets, that user has to have "Edit Contents" rights on the providers that contain the portlets? I don't think I understand.

I need to allow C_User to see schema A and Schema B in read Only.

You've got the basic idea.
Remember that names in quotes are case-sensitive. You probably need:
FOR r IN (SELECT OWNER, TABLE_NAME FROM ALL_TABLES WHERE owner='A_USER') -- Not ... 'A_User'This assumes SYSTEM has the necessary privileges to grant privileges on a_user's tables. If that's not the case, you can have SYSTEM create the role, but have a_user grant the privilleges to the role.
Where I work, typically, a DBA creates the role, then grants it to the owner WITH ADMIN OPTION
GRANT a_readonly TO a_user WITH ADMIN OPTION;Of course, a_user doesn't need the role to see the tables, but this gives a_user the ability to grant the role (or revoke it from) other users without getting the DBA involved. A_user then does steps (2) and (3).
A small thing: I would call the role A_ReadOnly, or something with A in the name, not C.
The important thing about the role is that it allows grantees to see A's tables.
The fact that the role was made for C_User is not so important. The role will remain essentially the same if other users get the role, or C_User is dropped.

You have likely dragged the size of the filmstrip thumbnails to a small size that prevents Lightroom from displaying the badges. Using your mouse, mouse over the top line of the filmstrip and then drag it supports to increase the size.

iChat can SMS to phones
It needs the computer to be listed as if it in the United States and contacting a Phone that is on a Carrier in the United States that is accepting SMS forwarding from AIM
You list the Buddy as AIM and then +plus their number as in +123456789
The computer can be made to "think" it is in the United States in System Preferences > International (or Text a Language in Lion) then Formats tab.
The Phone has to be a US phone with all the trimmings about AIM's SMS forwarding.

Want my JFrame to be the *only* one that can end the program when closed

Hi all,
I have an application that is essentially a launcher for other applications -- it's a holder to allow us to demo our work and other Java examples (not necessarily our work). The launcher will either run methods to launch an application or will find a class's main method and invoke that.
In all cases, the other applications open up their own JFrames, separate from my launcher (this is a good thing). The problem is that, in general, the other JFrames are set to EXIT_ON_CLOSE. This means that if the user closes the second window, everything will close.
Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? I'd like either a way to say that my JFrame is the only one that can exit the program when closed, or to say globally that JFrames can't exit on close, and then re-work my initial frame so that it is still able to exit.
Note that changing all the other applications so that they do not include the EXIT_ON_CLOSE line is not an option (several of the applications we have the right to use, but not the right to modify, for instance).
Any thoughts?

I guess I was thinking this as a process-oriented question (I had already been thinking of the "different JVM" tactic), but the other option was to think of it as a pure-swing problem, like your solution above. Guess I should have just cross-posted -- everyone loves that! ;-)

Resource can see other resources' projects in project center

In PWA I have a resource (project manager) can see other resources' projects listed in project center when he logs-in. He is in Project Managers group like other resources (Project managers) and no direct access was granted to him by Project Permissions
and I want him to see his projects only.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem please.

You can handle this by using RBS this is one of way doing it
For example:
I have 3 PMS PM!, PM2, PM3
In RBS
Set like the below
Organisation
     PM1
        Dev
     Pm2
        Dev
     Pm3
        Dev
Go to Server Settings --> Manage Users--> Open the PM1--> In RBS set his RBS value like Organisation.PM1 same case with all.
Please check the security categories of the project manager --> My Projects -->
Only the below option need to be checked and uncheck the remaining.
The user is the Project Owner or the User is the Status Manager on assignments within that project
Users with permissions in the category where this option is selected can see projects on which they are a Project Owner or a Status Manager

Can see other ppl's iMacs, Time Capsules...

I can see other people's iMacs/Time Capsules in my Shared menu in the left hand side of the finder. I have airport turned OFF. I don't use airport and connect to the internet through ethernet. I do have satelite internet. I had my Mac serviced because I thought I was being hacked - ppl who serviced Mac said that wasn't the case.
Is this normal, to be able to see other ppl's iMacs, Time Capsules that are in your area? Even when Airport is turned off?
This only started a couple of weeks ago when our internet was down for about a week, and the was reconnected.
Even with my airport turned completely off, why is this happening?
SO FRUSTRATED!

It makes no difference whether your AirPort is turned off or not as long as your Time Capsule is connected to the Internet connection by Ethernet, you will probably continue to see other devices under the SHARED heading in the Finder.
If you took your Mac to a hotel and connected to the Ethernet port in the room, you would also see other users under the SHARED heading. But, they cannot access your Mac or any other devices unless they have the password(s) required to do so.
The same thing will happen if you take your laptop down the coffee place and log on there using the wireless. You will see a number of other users under the SHARED heading as well. Again, there is no problem as long as they do not have the device password for your Mac
Other users can "see" you as well, so they too may be feeling a bit uneasy about things.
If what you see bothers you, you need to look into a DSL or cable connection for your home or apartment.

Why does LR crash when Import command is used? The only solution I can see is to restart my PC. Issue pre-dates latest LR upgrade.

LR has stopped working several times when I use the Import command (button and from File menu) - Windows gives the options of waiting or closing LR. I have waited for 30 mnutes but nothing happens. This pre and post-dates the latest LR upgrade. I'm using Windows8 and have only had problems in recent days. The only solution I can see is to restart my PC. What's happening - any ideas?

Yes, I imported some .CR2 files taken from home to the office and imported them into an existing catalog there. And yes, they're shown okay. Plus other 2006 files (from the same camera, I usually import into both) are okay too. There are some .XMP files in some 2006 folders, but not many. I will take the catalogue (sorry, got caught up in the Yank spelling) from home to the office on Monday and try importing that, hadn't thought of that. The photo's won't be in the same folder structure though and not all will be there.
Apologies for not answering the other question, I am a person who came from the Pixmantec RawShooter background and would have still been using that program then. The .RWSettings folders are still in the folder structure. I am pretty careful with my .CR2 files and try not to use any programs that would directly edit them. I have backups on DVD, but I haven't tried them. I also have another copy of some 2006 files on another HDD and have tried importing them tonight into the new catalog with no change in behaviour.
I will also try setting the camera date to 2006, take some new pics and see what happens.
Apologies, too, about the apostrophes, my dear Mum would be most embarressed at me. Can't edit them now, history has passed by!

How to create a user that can login the LDAP?

I want to create a user that can login the OID/LDAP. I know how to create a user, it is allowed to login OIDDAS, but I also want the user to grant access to ldap directly. How do i do that?
And how can I give it read rights and or update/delete rights on a specific tree?

Maximum number of 10 users that can connect and share?

I discovered today that Leopard seems to limit the number of users that can access a shared folder to 10! Can this really be true? This will make my lab kind of useless if only half of the computers can log on to the shared folder and access their files.
Is there some setting I am missing to correct this?

Yes, money; $999.00 to be exact. As was stated the client version of OS X has a 10 user limit. To get more capacity you will need to buy and install OS X Server version.

If you want to work with Mac OS X, you need one computer per simultaneous user.
What you are describing, " Multiple simultaneous logins to a single computer" is not avialable on a regular Mac of any description, unless you decide to use Unix tools instead of Mac OS X.
Server will happily store files for many, many users and provide them to multiple (up to hundreds) of computers at "near hard Drive" speeds over Gigabit Ethernet. It can make the File Sharing part easy.

I would say that, since the OP has so little info, there are no policies in use. It there were then this question would never be asked the way it is being asked.
I had a client call with a letter from their insurance company; an accountant with malpractice insurance. THey asked the same question inmuch the same way. "What computer can you users access?" The question should be more like
"Do you have a policy that restricts access to computers and do you audit for compliance?"
I have had other clients whose insurance asked the question in that way. It produces a better view of what should be happening and how to show compliance.
I recommend that companies being asked these questions by their legal departments or insurance companies should contract with a god computer security consultant to assist with answering these very tricky questions. Of course if it is just you boss's
curiosity then you may need to discuss his requirements with him in more depth.

The user you are running with Visual Studio should have read permission on the pages of SharePoint web you are trying to deploying your app.
I suggest you add the login user to the SharePoint web in the “Site Settings”->”People and Group”.
