Portlets Issues:-  Included resource or file  not found

I am facing some problems in the loading of portlets with Weblogic 9.2.When I access the portal url all the portlets are displayed blank by giving the following error message on the server :
<Error> <HTTP> <BEA-101214> <Included resource or file "/mysamples/exampleView.jsp" not found from requested resource "/portal/ep/home.do".>
My application is using pluto portlet container,
When I change the jsp file and reload portlet displays but after restarting the server it is again gone ,
Can someone please provide some pointers on this , I will really appreciate the help .
Thanks a lot

  • File Not found error when calling Form Post Method to a JSP from JSP Portlet

I have built a set of JSP forms using post method to call other JSPs. Normally, the code looks like
    <form name="MyForm" action="MyJsp.jsp" method="post">
I migrated the calling form containing this code to a portlet, but not the MyJsp.jsp. When I submit the form, I get a file not found in Jserv.log
Exception:javax.servlet.ServletException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: D:\servlet\RegisterCompany.jsp (The system cannot find the file specified)
[14/06/2001 13:59:59:679 PDT] JspServlet: unable to dispatch to requested page: Exception:javax.servlet.ServletException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: d:\oracle\isuites\apache\apache\MyJsp.jsp (The system cannot find the file specified)
I notice that launching the calling jsp from a portlet, my opriginal context that uses ../Apache/Apache/htdocs is not being searched for the JSp. Why is this? Moreover, I try to set up an Alias in httpd.conf file to the this director and use it with the jsp in the action tag, but still get an error that my jsp servlets/Myjsp can't be found. Why is it insiting on looking at servlets context instead of htdocs.
I have none of these issues outside of Portal30 using IAS.
    regard

Initially, I couldn't do this unless I moved tghe jsp's up to the root directory of IAS, i.e ../Apache/Apache. Nomrally, htdocs is my doc directory for IAS. I could not do http:\\myUrl\htdocs\myJsp. If I tgried this, I got an error in Apache error logg that said can't find file ..\htdocs\htdocs\MyJsp.jsp.
If I just tried the the URL http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp with Jsp file in htdocs, I would get an error in the Jserve log that file d:\oracle\isuites\apache\apache\MyJsp.jsp could not be found. Once I moved the file MyJsp to Apache/Apache directory, it could be found using http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp. Later, I delted these files and kept the ones in htdocs and they continued to work.
I'm confused why launching pages through portal isn't consistant with Apache Standards. Where is the documentation that tells me how to configure context and aliases for pages launched from portal pages?

Passing information using Portal is different than just using Apache/Jserv. Does it work in portal if you use the absolute path?
    <form name="MyForm" action="http://host.domain/MyJSP.jsp" method="post">
Portal will not be on the same relative path as your Apache, so you may need to adjust your action somehow.

  • File not found, Missing resource bundle

    Hi
I have a problem in accessing files (XML and Resource bundles) in Java projects. I used to access these files in WD Java. The same piece of code does not work here.
e.g. When I create a new file object by providing the path name I get a file not found exception. The file exists in my package and I call it this way:
File f = new File("file.txt"); then in an input stream but it doesnt work. However in a J2EE project the same code works.
Similarly the resouce bundle never seems to work even if I give the fully classified class name for the property file. I can access property files in WD Java with ease. I understand that the root path changes and hence the problem. How should I solve it? Is there an elegant way which makes it work in all cases? Please throw some light on the root path for these projects. Thank you.

    You should be using
    <b>this.getClass().getResourceAsStream(filePath)</b>
which will return you an InputStream.
Check the JDK documentation for the respective methods in java.lang.Class and java.lang.ClassLoader.

  • File not found:  includes/common/lib/file_upload/KT_FileUpload.asp Please upload the includes/ folder to the testing server.

The cooperative I am a part of have a homepage made with Dreamweaver several years ago. Suddenly some of the pages stopped working with this error message:
    File not found:
    includes/common/lib/file_upload/KT_FileUpload.asp
Please upload the includes/ folder to the testing server.
I checked, and the file is actually missing from the web server. Do i need to purchase Dreamweaver to download this file, and is this a path worth pursuing?
Dreamweaver version: I don't know which or how to check this, could check if given the proper instructions.

The page that you have shown uses one of the InterAkt extensions for Dreamweaver. Unfortunately, InterAkt was bought out by Adobe who in turn did nothing with it. The latest version was about 5 years ago and was called ADDT.
Maybe someone here can help you Friends of Interakt: Home Page

I attached the images of the files the installer is looking for and also the /oracle/<SID>/11ginstall_11202.log
I also attached the thing i put in ENV command
Not sure if its the issue in the oracle profile or installer itself or wrong input
    please help

    Hi Frogoso,
Please have a check on the known issues SAP note for Oracle installation.
Section G: is related to Solaris
1431796 - Oracle 11.2.0: Troubleshooting the Software Installation
You may re-check whether all the Solaris related pre-requisites are met before executin RUNINSTALLER.
Suggestion here would be to go with latest available Oracle patch 11.2.0.4 as you are installing a new system.

After installing the Labview environment I (as well as my co-teachers) can no longer run the Mindstorms software. THe error reported is bout resource files not found.

Hi there. Not a problem.  This is probably a known conflict between MINDSTORMS 1.0 and LabVIEW.  It can be fixed easily.  Please see http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4B0C1BBDA9CFEBE7862573D0005D93C4
This might have also affected MINDSTORMS 1.1 but I can't recall.

  • IPod Sycn issue - Required files not found

My iPod has been running well for a year and a half up until the last month. I have two Libraries which make up my music collection, my main Library on my PC running Windows XP of about 11 Gigs and about a Gig on my Laptop running on Vista.
When adding music onto my iPod - 30Gig video, 4th Generation, I think - I receive a message, saying iPod "could not be synced. Required file not found." After this, my iPod stayed froze until I let the battery run down, then I restored it.
I took it into the Apple store and the guy said the problem was either a faulty USB cable or a bad song file. I knew it wasn't the USB, and it has proven not to be since, as it works fine on both comps still. I thought I found the file, one the iPod froze up on syncing a while on the laptop. Got rid of it, seemed fine.
Until last week. My music collection has been getting bigger and I think I've hit a wall. I'll load my 11.5 Gigs from my PC, then I'll be able to load about a Gig onto my iPod from the Laptop and it'll freeze. It's not one specific file, it's frozen on a number of different files. I do the upload on the laptop last because for some reason it hates to Restore the iPod (unresponsive, not freezing but iTunes stops working).
I can't figure it out, is this a software issue or is it some hardware problem I can't fix?

Hey, I've been fighting with my iPod for the last two hours with the same REQUIRED FILE NOT FOUND error. I found little help on here. Finally, I decided to connect the iPod USB cable to another USB port on my machine... is synchronizing like new... actually, it is finished. No error.
So, maybe try a different USB port. Can't hurt.
    Cheers.

  • Error: Include file not found: /globalinclude.html

Does anyone have any idea why I would be getting this error everytime I try to make or build my workspace, project or any jsp file within JDev? I have no reference to /globalinclude.html and have never even seen this file anywhere before.
Error: Include file not found: /globalinclude.html
    Thanks.
    -Teri Kemple
    [email protected]

    Teri,
The reference is made in ojsp-global-include.xml in your WEB-INF directory.
globalinclude.html should be located in your html root (default .../public_html) and its content is:
    <% request.setCharacterEncoding("windows-1252");%>.
with the correct encoding of course.

  • Calendar server: File not found.

I upgraded from Mac OS Server 10.6.8 to OS X 10.8.2 with Server 2.2. Things went moderately well.
Circumstances: Prior to the upgrade, I was running services: iCal, AFP, Open Directory, Web, including wiki. I eliminated my need for some services, thus, on the new server I only need to run Calendar and Wiki. I turned off the others. Both before and after, I was bound to Active Directory, which is where my hundreds of user accounts reside.
I have dozens of wikis, available at web addresses such as:
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class1astronomy/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class2economics/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/chapel/
Each wiki includes a calendar. Example calendar addresses:
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class1astronomy/calendar/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class2economics/calendar/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/chapel/calendar/
Issue: Many of the calendars have upgraded successfully. However, roughly 20-25% of the calendars are failing. If attempting to view the calendar via the web, these failing calendars start to load, but then return the error, "Calendar server returned an error: File not found."
    Ideas?

Have same on Server X 4.0. Just installed it and run to discover. Didn't made much setups but I remember that I changed language and try play with resource on server. Don't know which file missing due to my fresh installation, reinstallation and trying to solve it by playing with folder /library/server/calendar and contacts - no results.

  • File not found: Label (variation label page giving error)

Please bear with me as I have to explain.
I have a publishing site with variations.
    English (source)
    Spanish (target)
The site was working fine since the beginning it was created a few months ago. But today something happened to the top navigation in Spanish site. The option in "Navigation" under "Site Settings" selected was "Show current site navigation"
but it started showing all other links which are not part of it.
I then changed it to "Show parent site navigation" upon which it showed correct links based on parent site. So I tried to change it back to "Show current site navigation" but still it showed those incorrect links and not the actual site
    navigation.
I thought let's restart IIS which I did and viola it almost solved the problem. Now I could see current site navigation but there was one link missing which I added a couple of days ago.
I tried to investigate as to what happened exactly and tried to access "Variation Labels" page in site setting but got error "File not found: Label"
It turns out somehow there is a field called "Label" in Variations list which is hidden or may be somehow its name got changed. I found out using SharePoint Manager 2013. I could access both English and Spanish site variation settings page by going
to the page directly and passing their ID but:
    1. Why did it happen? I mean why all of a sudden SharePoint would do this? Or is it one of those SharePoint things which you cannot explain and this is how it does?
    2. If let's say somehow "Label" field got deleted then how can I put it back or how to find the new name of this field if it got changed somehow?
    3. How do I fix Variation Labels page?
Because of this problem I am also facing another issue and that is there is a page in Spanish in which I have added custom web part that use resource files. It was working fine but after this issue it is showing error that it is not able to find resource files
when they are actually there and are present all the time.

what he did he went to List setting directly and compare it with freshly created list in different farm.
    as he mentioned:
"by going to _layouts/ListEdit.aspx?List={GUID of Variation Labels list} and compared the field names with the freshly created site collection on a separate VM with variations"

  • File not found: index.cfm

    Hi,
I have a new ColdFusion 9 install on a CentOS server with Apache 2.2
    I applied the 9.0.1 update.
The install is Standard, not Enterprise.
I can access the admin at /CFIDE/... perfectly.
The problem is when I try to access the first domain I have setup on server, where I installed ColdFusion on Wheels. When I type (using example instead of real domain) www.example.com or www.example.com/index.cfm, I get a ColdFusion error screen saying that it cannot find index.cfm . But index.cfm is there.
I checked ColdFusion logs, and I have noticed that apparently, somewhere, two single quotes are being appended to the file name.
This is what I see in cfserver.log:
05/14 09:28:47 Error [jrpp-140] - File not found: /index.cfm The specific sequence of files included or processed is: /home/folder/folder/index.cfm''
(with those two single quotes in the end. The file, without the single quotes, exists. The path included in the log file is the real valid path)
    From application.log:
"Error","jrpp-140","05/14/12","09:28:47",,"File not found: /index.cfm The specific sequence of files included or processed is: /home/folder/folder/index.cfm'' "
Here at application.log it is more obvious that two single quotes seem to be appended to the index.cfm file name.
Can any one help with this? Could be these quotes the problem, and if so, where do I need to change? Any help with this will be really appreciated.
    Thanks.
Edit: adding text from exception.log in case it helps
"Error","jrpp-146","05/14/12","10:24:18",,"File not found: /index.cfm The specific sequence of files included or processed is: /home/folder/folder/index.cfm'' "

I have solved this problem and will leave the solution here in case it helps someone.
    It was a permissions issue.
This server has cpanel. The account files are stored at /home/account/public_html folder.
The folder belongs to the account user, and nobody group.
I added coldfusion user to nobody group, and also to the account user group.
Then restarted coldfusion (without restarting it didn't work).
And now coldfusion finds the index.cfm file.

Could someone please look at these. I'm at a loss after two days. Thanks.

Usually if an image in a page cannot be retrieved, Firefox does not redirect the entire page to an error message; the area of the image is just left blank. So this is not normal.
On the error page, what do you see in the address bar, if anything?
To test whether one of your extensions might be the culprit, could you test some problem pages in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    * Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
    Any difference?
