Can any body tell me what could be the possible impact of workschedule not been generated in QAS????
What all problems i may face.

It depends on whether your time management solution incorporates the use of time evaluation or not.
If your time management solution does not incorporate schemas, the possible impact would be non-generation of quotas through the RPTQTA program. Creation of records in IT 2001 may not work either.
There will be a huge impact if you do run time evaluation.
Why would you not want to generate work schedules in QAS, though? I don't think this is a scenario many consultants have been through - simply because generating work schedules is a basic step and a best practise.

I am able to create a purchase requistion for text shopping carts once it is approved. For material if i create a shopping cart then status is showing approved(activated workflow without approval) but purchase requistion number not been generated.

The USB ports on my 30" Cinema HD display appear to not work. The monitor has not been used for almost a year, when I upgraded to a new Mac Book Pro and the 27" retina display. Now I need to move the computer back and forth between two locations using the two displays. The need for operating USB ports is essential. Any ideas. The display appears entirely normal. Am running OS X 10.9.

Shuffle (2nd Gen) not been used for a few years - not working at all - any ideas?
My Ipod Shuffle (2nd Gen) has not been used for a long time and now will not give any reponse at all. It won't charge and it is not recognised by ITunes - is there anything I should do?

The initial blinking is good. That means there is a connection between shuffle and computer. But it should continue blinking or become a solid color (ON but not blinking).
It could be a problem with the battery. If a lithium battery is left completely drained for an extended period, it can become unable to hold a charge. However, it could also be a problem with the USB port (such as not enough available power or a USB device conflict). As a test, you should try shutting down the computer and disconnecting all USB devices, including any hub, except for standard keyboard and mouse (if normally used). If your computer is a laptop, connect its power adapter (so that it's not running on battery power). Do this to reset the shuffle

Microsoft Word Has Not Been Installed for the Current User
Hi, everybody
I'm just starting our attempt to put together ZfD app packages for MS Office 2007. I've tried 2 different route with poor results for each. I'm looking for guidance and suggestions and, hey really, the simple final solution. :)
Objectives: Each app package will install locally one of the Office apps (e.g., Word) if it is not installed and then launch it, otherwise it will launch it. It gets installed locally to the C: drive using all the MS default choices, but runs from the desktop ZEN/NAL shortcut. All desktops are XP, not Vista or W7.
Routes tried and failed...
1) Simple app, uses distribution and run scripts to figure out if already installed, then installs using network shared drive and config.xml file for just the one app. The result ought to work -- no particular error in the package, those are fixed -- but what happens is something different each time with the MS setup.exe, and it never does complete without its own error (various and different each time). So, this appears to be completely unreliable because launching MS's setup.exe from a simple app is unpredictable and incomplete.
2) Snapshot of a successful setup.exe and config.xml install. This ALMOST works... well it does in fact work but the snapshotted app gives an error once it finishes launching -- "Microsoft Word Has Not Been Installed for the Current User" -- and exits. From the research I've done on this message, the MS program sees the "wrong" Windows profile on the destination environment, compared to that in the snapshot, and figures it's now been installed from a bootleg copy of Office 2007.
At this stage all I can think of is expletives. We've paid for everything, I've followed all the usual and customary steps, played by the rules, been polite (and also used the necessary computer swear words), and now I just want to insult everyone in Microsoft's marketing department for ruining everyone's life yet again. Can't we just do this, is it too much to ask!?!
Please help me. What is really going to work for distributing and maintaining Office 2007 apps using our ZfD environment? ALL USEFUL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME. Thank you. Bless you.

Novell did not design Microsoft's Office Install.
I have nothing against snapshots, but it does not work great with the Office
installs, which you yourself know since you are posting here with problems
based on that.
And your other method you are trying with the break out is not working well.
We also know that from experience.
We can tell you that the way most people install it and the way most people
succeed doing it, is by doing it the way recommended and designed by
Microsoft.
ZEN does that just fine.

I am having a problem trying to configure the Directory Server (5.2) for Messaging Server.
My configuration is as follows:
SJES Q12005
Server 1 - Directory Server 5.2
Server 1 - Access Manager (formerly Identity Server)
Server 1 - Web Server 6.1
I have successfully installed the above and can login to Access Manager.
I next installed Calendar & Messengar Server on "Server 1". Upon running "comm_dssetup.pl" from /opt/SUNWcomds/sbin, I get the following error:

I did mis-type, my mistake - sorry about that.
If I dont over-ride the default it works, I've pretty much got the whole setup working now but I'm not particularly over the moon about the way the ldap tree is setup, I'd like finer granuality as we are going to attempt to get syncronization working with AD.
I have an idea about how I'd like to set up our Mail/Calendar/LDAP infrastructure the 2nd time around (I'm just testing at the mo) - so I might have a question or two for you if you dont mind taking a look when you have a minute?

I use oldcmp.exe to show me what computers have not been used for months and I can disable them, but I wish to do the same for users Active Directory accounts, is this possible?

Planned order not getting generated for FG
Dear Experts,
Planned orders not getting generated for the Finished Goods - X which is having MRP Type M0 - MPS fixing type strategy group 20 which is copied fron another FG - Y , its a new product and production plan has been updated through MC88 - Rough cut planning but the planned orders are not getting generated.
And for the material valid production version exists with selection method 3 and individullcollective as 1.
Please let me know what might be the possibalities and what all the key fields i need to check.

In general MPS is run for High value items ( if you use like Gold , Platimum or A class items. ).
Always only single level is used for Explosion and planning. then only you can analyse the requirements at each stage before procurement.
Otherwise if you run MPS to multi level, Bottom most high value will be procured without any notice to authorities. Even you may cancel the process in mid way. At that time what will happen to the procured high value material.
So for that purpose only single item single level MPS concept is evolved.
Fo that you run MPS at single level so that only for the first level MPS will be carried out.
Check and revert back.\

How does this happen: The picture of recent apps you get when double clicking the home button showed in Settings-Wifi that I had been connected to a network I have not been near for two months. Its not a recent "image" of Settings-Wifi. Can anyone explain?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE IDOC not getting generated for BUS_TRANS_MSG BDOC

In our project, we have a requirement to send custom fields in the BUS_TRANS_MSG to external system through XIF. The model of BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG triggering IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 perfectly worked in the development system. We wanted to try the custom field extension in the Sandbox. So as per OSS note 916093, we have extended E101_CRMXIF_CUSTOMER_H segments with custom fields and tried generating the interfaces in BDFG transaction. While generation with IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M we got an error message "Incompatible change to complex data type
type E101CRMXIF_ISU_PRA1_X". So went about creating a custom IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 for message CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE. Even for this config, the IDOC is not getting generated for the BDOCs. Lastly, configured the IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 to a custom function module ZZ_BDFG_IDOC_TEST_FM. The FM got generated and activated, even then the IDOC is not generated for the BDOC.
SMOEAC config in Sandbox looks the same as the Development system. We do not the reason why IDOC is not getting generated and also the reason for error in BDFG while generating the interfaces after adding custom fields to CUSTOMER_H segment.
Any help would be appreciated.

Pegging information has not been calculate for [item] in this plan
Hello planners -
we ran across a strange thing today. We have an item in our unconstrained MRP with multiple demands and resulting supplies.
The last demand line (Sales Order MDS) shows pegging information has not been calculate for [item] in this plan - and only this line.
The item is set for End Assembly/Hard Pegging, the plan options have pegging enabled, and it works for all other demands.
Any idea why one demand line is excluded from the pegging calculation?

ChristophOn the surface, the item seems to have its supplies balanced to the demands – 9 sales order demands, and 9 supplies (planned orders and non-standard work orders).
A look under the hood shows some interesting things:
• The first non-standard work order is linked to a specific project (we use Seiban manufacturing).
• There is no demand for that project. That leaves the above work order hanging – it cannot be used for anything else, only this project.
• This work order also has an exception message “Items with excess inventory in a project/task” – makes total sense
• The last demand cannot peg to the existing work order, hence the somewhat misleading “pegging information has not been calculated in this plan” message
• The item shows one more interesting exception called “Demand quantity is not satisfied” – which is somewhat true.
The immediate solution is to take the project number off the work order. The next plan run has relinked all supplies and demands as needed. -

On the MDW Disk Usage Collection Set report, I get the following error when I click on a database hyperlink.
A data source has not been supplied for the data source DS_TraceEvents
SQL profiler shows the following SQL statements are executed (I've replaced the database name with databaseX)

this returns zero rows as databaseX does not exist on my MDW central server, but is a database on a target server (i.e. one that is being monitored and uploaded into the MDW central server).
2. USE [datatbaseX]
this produces the following error:
Msg 911, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Database 'databaseX' does not exist. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.
why is the report looking for the database on my server?

Environment: MDW (Management Data Warehouse) on SQL 2008 R2Hi Jag,
Based on my test, while this database is offline, we will encounter this issue. This is because that while we click the certain database in “Disk Usage Collection
Set” report, it will query some information with that certain database. If this database is offline, we will not access this database to acquire related information and generates this error.
Therefore I recommend that you check the status of this database by using this system view:
sys.databases. If it is not online, please execute
the following statements in a new window to make this database to be online:
USE master
GO
ALTER DATABASE <database name> SET ONLINE
GO

Financial Reporting - PDF has not been configured for this web server.
When I try a Print Preview of my report, I received this error "PDF has not been configured for this web server".
As far as I know, this error is confusing because when I look on my log files I found this:

I read a lot of document but it seem to be au communication issues!!!
Can someone help me with that.I believe the supported version for ghost script is 7.0.6; I had the same problem and after installing the lower version it worked like a charm.

"No sensor values have been generated for this instance." BPELConsole msg.
I've reworked the GoogleFlowWithSensors demo to use BAM sensors as a prelude to incorporating BAM into a a real BPEL process we have that's much more complicated. I've moved the schema in the GoogleFlowWithSensors.wsdl file to an imported XSD file as directed in literature. I created in BAM Architect a DataObject called ProcessExecutionTimestamp with 5 columns instanceId, receiveInput_TS, invokePartnerLink_TS, receivePartnerLink_TS, and callbackClient_TS. I was able to successfully tie the BAM sensors to this dataobject.
Everytime I test the BPEL process in BPELConsole, I get the results back but I get nothing but a "No sensor values have been generated for this instance." message in the BPELConsole "sensors" pane. I have found nothing in any BAM or BPEL log that indicates what could be going on.

BPEL Console does not show data published on BAM Sensors, to see on BPEL console you have use database sensor type.
Bpel log (default.log) shows any errors encountered on sending data to BAM.

I have a T440s CTO which is a great machine except that I no longer have part of the fingerprint reader functionality available to me. The machine has a Synaptics Fingerprint Sensor.
At new and after enrollment of fingerprints, functionality included:
1) Swipe at power on password screen authenticated me a) through power on password, and, b) through Windows 7 Professional logon.
2) After machine recovers from sleep, a swipe at locked computer screen authenticated me through Windows 7 password query.
3) After machine locks after set timeout, a swipe at locked computer screen authenticated me through Windows 7 password query.
I no longer have functionalities 2) and 3) described above. When I swipe at the locked computer screen, the message "your fingerprints have not been enrolled for authentication" appears at which point I have to type my password to unlock computer.
Since functionality 1) continues to work properly, my fingerprints are correctly enrolled.
I have taken the following steps:
1) updated the driver for the Synaptics FP reader
2) deleted and re-enrolled my fingerprints (multiple times) through Lenovo Fingerprint Mgr. Pro v8.01.18(x64)
3) deleted fingerprint data from the Security tab of the BIOS setup utility.
The Synaptics device driver installed is version 4.5.266.0
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
LENOVO folks - please advise how I can resolve this so that the original functionality is restored.

BIFFOK - I left the domain and ran FP Mgr Pro and lo and behold, no fingerprints were enrolled. Unfortunately, when I tried to enroll the fingers that I use for the FP reader, the machine told me that the fingerprints were already enrolled. Recall that I did not delete the fingerprints that were enrolled under the domain before attempting to enroll at the machine level.
Then - I deleted the fingerprints at the domain level and deleted the fingerprints at the BIOS level. I then logged in at machine level and enrolled fingerprints.
I rebooted and the machine asked for FPs at power on password and accepted my print. Unfortunately, it booted me through power on and Windows security into machine level, not my domain which is where I need to be.
This is very frustrating.

Flip video starts, stops, doesn't run smoothly
