Possible to have certificate with out any application servers

Hello All,
I need to make an https call to a remote system from my windows machine. My system has only j2sdk1.4 environment and no application servers in my side. My remote system expects me to send digitally sign the data and sent along with the certificate of mine. My question is
1. Do we need to have any application server in my side if we get the certificate from CA? Can't we have that certificate installed in my windows system.?
2. When getting the certificate from CA, I hope we get private and public key. How to sign the data using the private key ? (If iam not correct pls tell me what we get from CA?). Any api's available?
3. I need to send the certificate along with the signed data in xml structure like
<Request>
<certificate> ........</certificate>
<signed data>.......</signed data>
</Request>
How i can store the certificate in the xml element? Since i have not seen any certificate, is that certificate is like lengthy number like "abc345234re"?
I would be very thankfull to you if i u could help me out in this crisis.

get private and public key.No. You generate the key pair locally; you extract the public key in a certificate; you send the certificate to the CA to be signed; you get it back signed from the CA; and you import it into your keystore. [That way nobody but you has your private key.]

You can check The Merapi Project it's still in the
development phase but it'll allow to an AIR app invoke a java class
and run it as it were inside your app. But that's something you
can't take into production yet, why don't u wanna use a server
backend?

You can more easily add internal drives in a Mac Pro.
Not too terribly easy to add/replace drives in an iMac.

FMS 3.0.4 - Possible to have captions with live stream?

Is it possible to have captions with a live stream? I can do it just fine with a VOD stream, but have been unable to figure out how to do it with a LIVE stream, if it's even possible.

So you are saying your custom video player shows no video playback but in same set up Stock video Component which you are talking about works fine. Is the server under your control? I mean did you try debugging your custom video player - when you say there is no video playback - do you see connection is still alive or connection closes. Is there anything logged in FMS logs to indicate any issue - check application logs of App you are connecting and also other logs like core/edge/master logs.

I have a strange problem in http receiver adapter.
Sender RFC (SAP) Receiver: HTTP.
Receiver system expects the output from XI in the below format in a single line plain text with out any tags in the payload. and the content type should be application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Is there any way to achieve this using http receiver adapter. Business is not ready to accept the output from XI not even in a single element instead they only need it as a JUST a plain text.

Could you elaborate how you achieved in catching the response data from the receiver in case of HTTP receiver adapter?
The target service is not a WebService but some python script that must to receive some paramters via POST request.
HOW can I post this parameters?
Here you entered the fields of the message type of the request in the header parameters of the receiver adapter? Thats fine.
But what about the message type and vice versa of the response from the receiver?

Possible to pick records with out identifier in a file?

I have a file with header,trailor and detail.. I want to know does each should have a seperate identifier or BODS can pick up with out any identifier??
Say Header has a identifier H and Tailor has T where as Detial doesnt have any .... Is it possible to pick and process the file in BODS for a header..its respective Tailor and its respective detials???

Hi,
I'm asuming your file contains only one set of Header,Detail,Trailer. Also I'm assuming that the first field in the detail records would never begin with H or T ? If so then you can define three separate file formats, one for the header, one for the details and one for the trailer. If the header and trailer records are identical in structure then you just need one file format for both of them and a seperate one for the details. In the file format for the header/trailer you will define the record structúre which would obviously include the indicator field. When you want to read the header record use the header file format (or header trailer combined format) and specify WHERE indicator='H' in the Query transform, similarly when you want to read the trailer records use the trailer file format (or the combined one) and specify WHERE indicator='T'. Lastly when reading the detail records use the detail file format and specify WHERE indicator <> 'H' and indicator <> 'T'.

Is it possible to have video with a transparent background in dps?. Basically i've animated some elements in apple motion and want to incorporate them as an overlay (with the indesign page background showing through).

You could do it with an image sequence but AFAIK there’s no support for alpha channels in video.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

did ae install without problem? check the install logs to be sure (Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC)

A BPM process with out any human task

Hi All,
I am new bie to BPM. Can I create a BPM process without any human task?
Like start event, service task (or any other activity) & end event.
If it is possible, please let me know the proper steps to execute and test this process also.

Yes, ofcourse you can have a Process without any User Task. Ex: Start Node -> Service Task -> End Node. Start Node can be 2 things say like DB Adapater and File Adapter. Read something from DB from some table and put into the Text File.
But the thing is, BPM Process is more of Role Oriented. If you already saw, you define something called Swim Lanes and put each User Task in those Lanes and automatically users in that Role only can work on those Task.
If you do not have any such things like User Task, you don't even need to create a BPM Process. Just create a simple BPEL with your custom Payload.
Now, the most important question is how do you plan to trigger/start this process whether BPM or BPEL. Do you assign some users to the first Role and do users log into bpm/workspace and click the Link on the left side to start the process. ALSO since there is NO User Task, you will NOT have any Task Details Page and this means you MAY NOT even see the link on the left side in bpm/workspace.
The only option I could see is have BPEL. This BPEL will have a WSDL automatically generated. And you can use this WSDL to instantiate the task.
If your intention is to use this process/bpel in some other MAIN Process then it is totally possible.
