Possible to Parse on(...) Script in Buttons ?

Hi everyone,
I've a "little" Problem that goes beyond my ActionsScript 2 Knowledge so I hope anybody has an Idea or can confirm that what I need to do isn’t possible.
I got an existing Flash-Project written with ActionScript 2 in this Project is a Graphic with lots of Buttons on it. Each Button has "on(...) {}" Script's assigned, in this Script are "getURL"-Functions that call JavaScript and within that JavaScript-Function-Call (a String passed to getURL) the JavaScript Function get's an ID as Parameter.
Now, I ‘am supposed to write a Script that "walks" recursively trough this Flash-Project and collects all these ID's that are Parameters of the JavaScript-Function-Call.
So what I've done so far is a Function that can recursively walk through the Flash-Project and find every Button this way. But now I don't know (and don't think it's possible) how to get the ID out of the JavaScript-Function-Call.
To get you in the Picture, here is an Example Code that is associated to one of these Buttons:
on(release) {
getURL("javascript:do_something_with_id(275)");
My Script knows that Button but, I don't know if I can somehow find out that there is a "275" as ID.
Any Ideas or at last a "This is not Possible" ?

Not really but you can combine text and images on pages in the book tool or in a pinch use the local adjustment brushes to "draw" rudimentary things via radical exposure or curves adjustments.

I can work my way around a Mac pretty well, but as for coding, I'm not as good. Hopefully someone will know how to do what I'm looking for:
I do a lot of school assignments on my computer, and I've recently utilized an online service that allows me to sync up my files on my computer with their servers (like MobileMe, but not). Anyway, this is great and all, but this service is virtually useless if I'm trying to access a Pages publication via my school's computers which run Windows and, consequently, Microsoft Word 2007. However, they ALSO run Adobe Reader. Is it possible to create a script that, every time I save a Pages publication, automatically creates a PDF export of that same file in the directory where I'm working? Also, when I update the Pages file, it'll automatically update the PDF file?

Saving a script as a Script, an Application or an Application bundle requires the use of the Script Editor as explained in the System (Finder) help.
step 1:
open the script in the Script Editor
step 2:
compile it clicking the "Compile" button
step 3:
Save the script from the "File > Save" menu:
To save as "script" select the "script" menu item
To save as "Application" select the "Application" menu item
To save as _"Application Bundle"_ select the _"Application Bundle"_ menu item
The files which I post are saved thru the "Text" menu item which attache the extension name ".applescript" telling that it's an _Applescript's text file._
All these infos are given in resources pointed by my late messages !
Now are infos which maybe you will not find in the Apple's resources
I use the text (.applescript" format because it embeds nothing related to my machine.
To work from the Scripts menu, my best choice is "Script" which appears to be the fastest one.
"Application" is slower and sometimes gives odd results on MacIntels.
"Application Bundle" behaves well on every machines but is slower than "Script".

Script single button to play frames, then skip some, and continue play?

Just as the topic says, I want to script a button to go to
and play through a motion tween, but then skip some frames to then
play another motion tween all in one button press. For example,
play frame 1 which plays the tween and ends at frame 10 (I have
that part down fine) but then for it to skip ahead to continue to
play frame 20 and then of course stop once it finishes that motion
tween.
Tried a few searches but its too many words to explain so I
wasnt finding anything. Its probably a simple command im just not
familiar with yet. Can anyone help?

I probably should have been more specific. I cant add
anything to the timeline because I have multiple buttons using the
first tween, which is a fade out. Thats why I need a script to add
to each button only to play through that first common tween, and
then skip to play an individual tween set for each button. Like
button 1 goes through the first common tween, a fade out (plays
frames 41 - 53) and its individual tween is frames 54 - 66. This
works fine of course because the tweens are next to each other.
Button 2's individual tween starts on frame 67, so it needs to play
through the common tween fade (41 - 53) skip Button 1's frames, and
continue play on 67. These buttons are located on frame 1 (main
menu) so is it even possible to script a button to do such a thing?
I figured there would be but nothing im trying or seeing online is
working. Heh... does this make sense? :o
The only other way I know it will work is if I copy and paste
all the information in the layers before each section but that
causes me to have to push a lot of information further down the
timeline, kinda making a big mess and causing me to rescript all
frames there.

It seems there isn't. A script cannot add basic functionality, only access it. In this case, you can't change the setting because there is no 'antialias text' setting in the SWF export settings.
However, all is not lost. Google turned up this helpful page; it might be possible to edit your SWF after exporting and then re-save it.

I'm using the 'round any corner' script from SATO Hiroyuki..., and I'd like to apply it to only one anchor point (on multiple boxes)

An Action can call a script from the File>Scripts menu by means of the Add Menu Item Action step. But it will only work for the duration of your Illustrator work session. If you quit AI and then restart it, the Add Menu Item step will be blank. This bug has been reported for FOUR FULL VERSIONS of this sloppy program.
However, if I am correctly understanding your description of what you are trying to automate, an Action will not be able to automate the selection of a particular anchorpoint in multiple paths. You'd have to make the selections all at first. Whether the script would then apply as desired to each path depends on how the script is written.

Failed to Open/parse setup script.

While installing SAP GUI 6.40 I got error message " Fail to open/parse setup script. Please check if the script setup/sapsetup.xsc exist" I found that said xsc file is in the directory. Any help in this regard?

Hey Guys,
I solved the problem. If u encounter this problem, remove the C drive sharing ( drive where the setup file is located) and run the installation in a normal way. To my mind system get confused between C:/ and C$/...

I want to use it so that if a teacher sends an sms with math problems the game will be able to load these values.

ex:

Possible to make a script for duplicating index entries?

I would like to make things easier than they seem to be.
I have several references (1:st level topics) already that are correct with page numbers and all that.
Now, I would like to create a 1:st level topic, under which I put "duplicates" of these already indexed references and put them as 2:nd level topics, under the main, 1:st level, topic.
Example.
Let's say I have these references (1:st level topics) already, with correct page numbers and everything:
Audi 4-6, 8
BMW 7, 21-24
Citroen 11, 12
Mercedes 80
Volkswagen 31-36
Okay, these are perfectly indexed and all the pages are correct.
Now, I would like to have these references as both 1:st level topics, and also as second level topic references under the main topic "Cars", like this:
Cars 4-80
Audi 4-6, 8
BMW 7, 21-24
Citroen 11, 12
Mercedes 80
Volkswagen 31-36
My question is. Is it possible to achieve this by a script, so I can copy (duplicate) all these references and put them under the topic "Cars" too (preserving the 1:st level topics too of course), without having to go to each of the pages and create new topics all over again for every single finished topic, that I intend to put under the main topic "Cars"?
Just to inform you, the above named 5 topics, are NOT only the topics I want to put under "Cars"... there are like a hundred :).
Is it possible to make a script like this? Or do I have to do all the work ALL OVER again?

Hmmm… This one copies all files which have 'flash' (could by x-shockwave-flash) string in mime type to /tmp/flash. Hope it will be helpful.

Well regarding you question about the system to have it assigned, ideally you need to assign it in development and mopve it up stacks. However, i aint sure of the roles you are assigned with for doing any config changes in QS. and the config needs to be done through NACE. Following is the process.
You need to first find the Output type and the standard form attached to the existing program/ tcode. This info can be fetcehd from TNAPR table. Once you have got the details, you can then get into NACE tcode to configure your new custom form instaed of the existing Standard one. Get the application type, output type from TNAPR table. Then select the particular outpput type in NACE nad click on processing routine. This is the place where the new form name needs to be updated.

Enable/view subs - pre-scripts or button properties?

You have a number of ways in DVDSP to enable/disable subtitles for a Track.
Mostly, I use SetSystemStream in a pre-script for a Track, and then I use SPRM8/GPRM5.
But, given that you have separate buttons (play with subs, play without subs) you can also use button properties for the subs.
Somewhere way back, I was told by HalMcLean that pre-scripts sometimes can cause problems - but I don't remember if that was particularly with subs or rather other parameters.
What way would you guys go? Script or button?

So, what do you suggest? Setting the subs in the button properties, or rather use a script with a jump to the Track (where you set the system stream before the jump)?
For this qick job I actually used a pre-script in the single Track (systemstrrem sub on/off) and it seemed to work fine in both Simulator, Apple DVD player and three different hardware DVD players.
