Post cleared checks
Hi! All,
I am working on an inbound interface to post cleared checks in SAP from Bank via XI. I am using RFEBCK00 which uploads flat file in a specific format.
I am told that XI works with internal tables and not flat files. I have to copy and modify RFEBCK00 to do that. Instead, I am planning to create a wrapper RFC enabled FM that takes the internal table as input, then converts the internal table to the SAP required file format and download it to application server. Then submit RFEBCK00 unaltered to use the file in application server. That way we would also have the incoming file for future referrence.
Will this design work. Please let me know if there is any flaw.
Thank You very much,
-Priyanka
Hi Priyanka,
Yes this design will work.
Only thing you need to make sure is removing the file from Application server once it is processed as otherwise it may get processed twice.

Atish

How to clear the Payment Document when posting cashed checks.
AIM: To clear the payment document when the check is cashed.
I am creating a Payment Document (Doc type ZP) using fb01. Then I am creating a check against this payment using FCH5. Once check is created, I am posting cashed check using FCKR upload. FCKR is working fine and marks the check as cashed.
ISSUE: The FCKR is working correctly and the check is being marked cashed in FCHN. But if I click the Accompanying document and click on payment document, the payment is still open. Why is this? How do I clear the payment doc?
Please advice.Hi,
By using T code F-03, you can manually clear the open entries in GL account, if that GL account is open item managed in GL Master.
Thanks and Regards

Unable to clear "Check Paper" light PSC 1350xi
Unable to clear "Check Paper" light
1) Upgraded from XP to Win7 x32
2) Installed HP PSC 1350xi Win7 driver software using Printer Install Wizard
3)After many Print attempts, unable to clear "Check Paper" error message
4) After several uninstall/reinstalls using several HP approved methods, all software diagnostics checked normal except for the blinking "Check Paper' light.
5) And, yes, I tried adding, removing, adding paper to the tray which appeared normal.
My guess is a hardware problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Print post-dated checks given to vendors
Hello experts,
I have this issue. My client pays many of his vendors with post dated checks. They use f-43 to post this payment by using posting key 39 and special GL W. They want while posting the payment after saving to be able to print the receipt and the check without changing the GL accounts, posting keys, GL indicator. How do I configure that? I know about FBZP and F-58 but it doesn't work the way I want. For example I use f-58 for pay an invoice. When I display the document that has been created for the payment I get posting key 50, bank account and 25 vendor. I want the posting key 39 with gl indicator W because it is a check which is goin to be cleared in the future. Another problem that comes is that when using f-58 where do I post the cheque's expiration date?
Can someone enlight me? I ve never had that scenario before and I would appreciate any help.
Regards,
KatiaHi,
For posting through F-58 using Sp. GL. Ind. W, if you treat this as down payment because Entries will be as
Vendor Dr (W)
Bank Cr
too achieve this, you dont need to select or activate any invoice, just go to overview screen, there you can give SP. GL. Ind W and Posting Key 29.

F110 : program name of posting cleared document during F110
Dear all,
I need to figure out the "PAYMENT DOCUMENT SPLITTING" issue after F110 via debugging.
I believe the main program for F110 is SAPF110V and SAPF110S is the program handle the posting. However, after I put the break point in SUBMIT SAPF110S AND RETURN in SAPF110V, then do step by step debug. Debugging doesn't go to SAPF110S. I am not sure what's wrong.
Can anyone tell me the program name that post cleared document during F110 processing?
Thank you very much for help in advance!!

I guess you have missed populating field STYPE in each of the records which identifies the actual structure.
Below is how you have to pass for them:
<b>Struc --> Value
BGR00 --> 0
BBKPF --> 1
BBSEG --> 2</b>

In MONTH, (PC) iCal only clearly lists 2 items a day. The 3rd item is "faded" and bottom portion cut off, w/ a "more" triangle in the lower-right corner. How can I expand (vertically) so the 3rd line posts clearly, and ONLY shows "more" if 4+ events?
Better yet... as there's a lot of "wasted" space w/ too large Month title and empty space surrounding the Month title above and too much space surrounding the month/year slider bar below, how can I minimize these to allow me more usable / valuable calendar "contents" so I don't need to waste so much time clicking "more" just to see the bottom of the truncated third event and find out there are no 4+ events posted that date? i.e. more "user-friendly" presentation?
Thx!

Hi,
I am trying to install 11.5.10.2 OEL 5 installation on VMware. Its failing in the post installation checks: the DBC check and JSP checks are failing. Looking at the errors, it says that .dbc file is not generated. And because of which the JSP is also failing. I am able to access the portal http://vega.apps11i:8005 , but not anything after that.
So, I tried to generate the dbc file by running the adgendbc.sh file.. but its failing as below:

Errors During Post Install Check on Ubuntu 12.04
Hello Gurus,
I'm trying to install EBS R12(12.1.1) on Ubuntu 12.04 64-Bit. I patched the HTTP server with 6078836 (Copied libdb.so.2 to /usr/lib).
I did the md5sum check before starting the install. I completed the kernel settings as per the note below:
Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86-64 [ID 761566.1]
Contents of /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.1.101 erpbeginner.dyndns.org erpbeginner
Installation went smooth till the Post install checks where it fails for the following:
HTTP
JSP

Help Page
Virtual Directory

When I search for the library "libclntsh", I found 3 matches to libclntsh.so.11.1,libclntsh.so.10.1 and libclntsh.so.
Only libclntsh.so.11.1 is a file and rest are symbolic links to this file which seem to be broken.
So I tried to redo the symbolic links and did a retry for the post install checks which failed again.
Can somebody please shed some light on this?

Credit Limit VS Posted Date Check
Dear Experts
Our client have a requirement on customer credit limit and I would like to seek for some good solutions.
Here I provide one sample scenario: In SAP Business One a customer with a credit limit of $100,000 and account balance of $110,000. After a posted date check of $20,000 is deposited, customer account balance will be reduced to $90,000 and a Sales Order/ AR Invoice with amount less than $10,000 can be added for that customer without credit limit alert.
However, our client thinks that it is not make sense to reduce the customer account balance given that a posted date check is deposited as the posted date check may not be cashed if the customers do not have money in their account.
Would it be possible to separate posted date check payment amount from deducting the customer account balance? or would it be other workarounds?
Thank you very much
Regards
EltonDear jbrotto
Thanks for your reply.
Could you explain in details on how to make use of the commitment limit?
As far as I know, commitment limit also considers the account balance of customer

F-30 Post clearing with Open Items
Hi to all.
i have created a function module that will ask for external invoice # upon pressing the SAVE button in VF01 and will populate the custom table i have created also with System Invoice # and the External Invoice entered by the user. i was able to link my custom table to FBL5N displaying the External Invoice based on the System invoice in FBL5N.
now i need to add a custom fields to the Account Item table display in F-30 Post clearing with Open Items displaying the external Invoice from my custom table .
thanx in advance....Solved it myself.
for those who will have requirements like mine.
these are the steps i did.
-append structure in both RFOPS and RFOPS_S
-create a BTE using bte 0000900 events
-from zfunction modules of bte 00009000 i link my custom table base on the work area of rfops then insert the value for my custom fields. -
GL posting clearing item amount and do not show doc status on the header
Hello,
GL post clearing amount both side and increase the no of items in the GL balance display. Inaddition, these clearing line item document header does not show document status field. I have another GL which does not post extra two lines and clearing item document is empty and header shows document status as A (cleared item).
Could you let me know what the difference and what need to be changed to make it not to post clearing items + and - and show doc status.
Both are same FSG and only difference tick mark not done for balance in local currency. Thanks for your reply...but thats did not work. As I said earlier, I have a Structure in my rows and 2 characteristics in my free chracteristics and in my columns I have a selection of key figures...
What I want is when I drill down on one of my 2 free characteristics, I do not want to see rows with amounts (KFs) zero or space.
