I have understood that , I need to use HTTP Binding to sent XML documents to External system using POST.
But where can I give the URL specifications during creation of HTTP Binding ?
It doesn't ask me for URL during HTTP Wizard .

Hello Both,
Thank you.
I ran following command from SQL Plus window after connecting to DB..
SQL> @[%NLS_LANG%]
SP2-0310: unable to open file "[AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252]"And also I have checked actual data using DUMP function, it looks like data stored is wrong.
I have updated one field in SAP such that it only contains German character ä. When I query corresponding data from Oracle I got following output..
SELECT xmlresponse.Notes,
  dump(xmlresponse.Notes,1010) dump_text

  • HTTP Binding using POST Method

    Hi all,
    I need to pass XML to a BPEL using HTTP POST. I have got a sample running for passing information to BPEL through GET method of HTTP. But do not have any idea about how to pass XML using HTTP POST. Please put forward your suggestions.
    Thanks.
    John

    Thanks Marc.
    Let me rephrase the scenario.
    I have an external application which is capable of sending information only in XML through HTTP requests. It does not send SOAP messages. I guess in this case, we would need to use the HTTP binding using POST method. Much like the sample at http://blogs.oracle.com/reynolds/2005/09/invoking_bpel_from_an_html_for.html which uses the GET method.
    In this sample reynolds is using the GET method. I have been trying to get the POST method to work.

  • Contents of HTTP POST is ignored for http:binding

    Hi,
    We are calling a legacy system utilizing WSIF http:binding with the POST method.
    The input of the service is defined by a DTD which was transformed to the corresponding XSD. Generally it works, except that the called service returns a HTTP 201 (No Content) most likely due bpel includes the namescope of the passed message part. Furthermore the "Content-type" in the HTTP header is undefined (Content-type: null). The HTTP Log is attached below, the BPEL-Version is 10.1.3.1.
    Adding the following lines in the XSD (that solved similar problems with the adapters) have no effect:
    nxsd:version="DTD"
    xmlns:nxsd="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/nxsd"
    The <input> of the <http:binding> is defined by <mime:mimeXml part="dataPart"/>
    How can BPEL-PM suppress the namescope that we get an XML like the following:
    <DATA>
    <ACTION NAME="Amount" VALUE="100"/>
    </DATA>

  • Post XML over HTTPS in a loop

    HI,
    I have a requirement to post XMLs over HTTPS. I also am supposed to retrieve the response XML, interpret it and do some processing based on the response status in the response XML. This has to be done for each XML.
    Currently I am establishing a new HTTPsURLConnection for each XML, wrting the XML to output stream, retrieving the response from input stream and then releasing the connection using disconnect() method.
    Is this the recommended approach or should I be creating just one connection for posting all the XMLs? Also, does java use some kind of connection pooling while creating HTTPURLConnection?
    I am frequently getting "SocketTimeoutException Exception --> connect timed out" while processing large number of XMLs. Is this exception due to large number of connections that I am creating?
    This program is running as a stand alone program on unix box.
    Regards,
    Jacob

  • (XML) HTTP POST to Stored Procedure (mod_plsql)

    Hi,
    first of all, sorry if this is the wrong forum, I've also tried SQL/PLSQL with no answer at all, so I atleast wanted to give it a go here,
    as you guys probably have some mod_plsql experience.
    Let's put up an example scenario:
    Vendor X wants a URL to POST xml data. E.g:
    Content-Type: text/xml
    Content-Length: (length)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <document>
    <info>testxml</info>
    <answers>
    <a1>yes</a1>
    <a2>no</a2>
    <a3>yes</a3>
    <a4>yes</a4>
    </answers>
    </document>I want to store this information in the database. I really don't care if it gets stored as CLOB or XMLType, but I'm really just looking for a way to do this with a simple PLSQL procedure.
    Is this possible? How would that procedure look?
    All I know for now, is that the url would be http://apache-server/pls/dad/schema.[pkg.]proc - and that the process needs grant execute to [daduser].
    Was not able to find information on this in mod_plsql documentation.
    Running the prebuilt Oracle HTTP-server (Apache 2-version) and Oracle DB 11.1.0.7.
    Best regards,

  • Post XML over HTTPS

    We are trying to do the following. Can anyone help by providing any pointers as how to do it.
    1. A java client will be posting XML over http(s) to the Tomcat server.
    2. The Tomcat server has to do the following:
    - Validate the user credentails and verify that it is an valid user on IDM
    - Do some DB operations and return back a response XML
    We are trying to do this by having the Java client post XML over http to a jsp hosted on the Tomcat server
    How do i retrieve the XML data from the HTTP post (from the HTTP body) ?
    Thanks

    try the below example to read data over https,

  • Call HTTP POST Service from SOA HTTP Binding (one - way)

    Hi All
    Why doesn't HTTP Binding support one-way Reference (It only allows request-response in outbound mode)? I need to call a one way HTTP post service from BPEL.
    How can i achieve this with HTTP-Binding. This one way HTTP POST service is on OSB. Please help!

  • HTTP Binding limitation in SOA Suite 11.1.1.5

    Hi,
    We are using BPEL to integrate our systems with 3rd party systems, where we are the consumer of the service given by external vendor. The external vendor exposes XML based service (REST services) and have given a url to perform certain functionality. We are using POST method to call the service.
    In our case, the external vendor is expecting XML without the namespaces and it's a limitation at their end. So they can't modify or rebuilt their existing system to support XML namespaces. But the HTTP binding wizard is not allowing to select the input and output if no namespace is used.
    So how to overcome this problem or is it a limitation of HTTP binding that it mandates the use of namespaces. Did it in another way by converting the xml payload to string but this will not scale for larger payloads. So looking for a resolution on this.
    Thanks & Regards
    Siva

    My requirements are slightly different. I have users in a SUN LDAP directory. I need to give access to these users to the worklistapp. I have other requirements too. Like me weblogic admins also need to authenticate to the same LDAP. My build and deploy teams should also use the same process to deploy composite apps to the server.
    I am able to add a provider in myrealm. Make sure that the users that I need are readby the provider. I tested this with one user and that user is able to login to the worklist app, after I did all the steps mentioned in the thread.
    Not sure if this meets your requirements too

  • ESB: WSIF HTTP Binding support

    Hi,
    Is there a way to perform HTTP POST/GET a non-SOAP XML message from ESB? I know BPEL supports this via WSIF HTTP binding. Looking for a way to do the same in ESB.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    I tested the WSIF HTTP provider from ESB using following binding and port definitions. My test case involves simple ESB RS forwarding the request to SOAP service configured using WSIF HTTP binding.
    <message name="orderRequest_request">
    <part name="orderRequest" element="inp1:orderRequest"/>
    </message>
    <portType name="execute_ppt">
    <operation name="execute">
    <input message="tns:orderRequest_request"/>
    <output message="tns:orderRequest_request"/>
    </operation>
    </portType>
    <binding name="OrderRequestHTTPPost_binding" type="tns:execute_ppt">
    <http:binding verb="POST"/>
    <operation name="execute">
    <http:operation location="/execute"/>
    <input>
    <mime:mimeXml part="orderRequest"/>
    <mime:content type="text/xml"/>
    </input>
    <output>
    <mime:mimeXml part="orderRequest"/>
    <mime:content type="text/xml"/>
    </output>
    </operation>
    </binding>
    <service name="OrderRequestHTTPPostService">
    <port binding="tns:OrderRequestHTTPPost_binding" name="OrderRequestHTTPPost_port">
    <http:address location="http://<host>:<port>/testPost/httppostservlet"/>
    </port>
    </service>
    When I run this I am getting the following exception. I tested the same WSDL in BPEL successfully.
    I tried to enable the TRC for WSIF logging by setting debug level to 'all' in both domain.log and system log settings. But not much success so far.

  • SOAP HTTP Binding

    Hi,
    While trying troubleshoot a problem with a web service created in Workshop, I noticed that HTTP request generated for SOAP messages is bound to HTTP/1.0. Is this expected? How can I change this to HTTP/1.1? Does the standard for soap binding to HTTP restrict to one or the other?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    thanks,
    Rajiv.

    No, this is just a .net asp site (httpreceive.aspx) that take http post. I have to use http binding to do an http post since there is no web service. Therefore there is no wsdl to import for the partner link. However, they expect the xml to be in a soap envelope with a custom soap header for authentication. I'm able to get the soap envelope using soap binding but not http binding. What I need is to be able to do a http post with the message in a soap envelope. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Http binding (rest service) adapter unable access endpoint

    Hi I have a problem with security.
    Http binding adapter has endpoint https://192.168.10.10:8080/uuid/453434563
    I have added my client certificate and server certificate to keystore. I have made a configuration in soa server/console keystores and ssl.
    Non Recoverable System Fault :
    ORAMED-03303:[Unexpected exception in case execution]Unexpected exception in request response operation "Request-Response" on reference "ecm". Possible Fix:Check whether the reference service is properly configured and running or look at exception for analyzing the reason or contact Oracle Support Services. Cause:Unable to access the following endpoint(s): REPLACE_WITH_ACTUAL_URL
    Should I add a policy to http adapter in composite?

    Anuj,
    The End point URI is correct. As I have mentioned earlier , I have used the same URI to post the message from the browser's POSTER functionality and it worked . So URI is not the culprit.
    However I found from the Oracle Documentation that - XML payload with Complex Types is not yet supported in Http Binding . Only Xml's with Simple payload are supported. That could be a reason for this issue.
