    how to getout of this problem and how can i send the total xml data with http request

    Hi,
    Xcelsius/Dashboards will convert the range of values that you want to send into XML.
    It then will POST the XML when it calls the web page.
    For example, if you had created three ranges to send to your web page:
    A (a single cell)
    B (a single cell)
    C (a row of three cells)
    The data in the POST input stream for the web page will look something like this:
    <data>
      <variable name="A">
        <row>
          <column>10</column>
        </row>
      </variable>
      <variable name="B">
        <row>
          <column>15</column>
        </row>
      </variable>
      <variable name="C">
        <row>
          <column>1</column>
          <column>2</column>
          <column>3</column>
        </row>
      </variable>
    </data>
    I don't have an example for ASP, but I do for a JSP (attached).

    Matt

    <INPUT TYPE="button" VALUE="Send Mail" onClick="mailMe()"><BR>
    </FORM>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>

    Conclusion from my point of view:
    1) You cannot have this thing interactive if you want to work with all the features of OM, if you want to cover all the details. In that case you need to create some tool for drawing the pictures for you and then only send the picture into the form. If anybody would like to do the changes you would add the table at the bottom of the page where a guy can say something like "chair A move under the big banana B" or "fire Mr. C, remove the position of Mr. C". That is probably the thing I would go for
    2) I am afraid you or your employer do not understand how the Adobe forms work. This is possible, but as I said before, that would be a nightmare for the developer (I cannot tell the price, would start with like 20 MDs).
    3) If you would like to mimic some existing solution and don´t want to buy that, then it´s ok for me. But don´t try to re-create the existing .NET or Java stuff in ABAP. I am skilled Java programmer and I can tell the freedom and the speed of the development is quite different. If the customer/ boss insist on developing such thing, use WEB development, go for PURE JAVA (I would go this way), use Java Connector in a JSP/ J2EE stuff and then incorporate the result into the portal.
    Hope that clarifies the problem a little,
    regards Otto

  • How to handle HTTPS Service that returns XML

    When using Flash + AMF remoting I've always typecast the event.result as XML(event.result).  Typecasting isn't working in Flash Builder, I'm getting an object as the result [object MYXMLROOT] and I can access it's properties, but I can't typecast it as XML, nor can I loop each of it's properties....

    Hi,
    There are ways to use XML returned by Http Service in  flex. Is this what you are looking to achieve?
    http://blog.flexexamples.com/2008/03/29/dynamically-loading-xml-files-using-the-httpservic e-tag/
    The DCD features of Flash Builder 4 can also be used to access the XML as Services.

  • How to receive XML from Flex HTTP POST

    Hi,
    We curreontly have a setup where we have a FLEX frontend send an XML through a HTTP POST and awaiting a response also in XML. On the backend this is handled relatively simply by a PHP script that basically does the following:
    read data (in XML)from FlEX HTTP POST into a new temp XML file.
    execute a c++ program with the XML file as one of the parameter.
    return the result to FLEX
    We have decided to move to BlazeDS for various reasons.
    Looking at the examples bundled with BlazeDS they have a jsp example that returns an XML result to FLEX so that part is fine. I am trying to find an example of JSP (or Servlet) that is able to read the XML data from FLEX and write it into a temp XML file. I would then try to use runtime.exec to invoke a local C++ program to process the XML file the result of which will be sent back to FLEX.
    Any help will be very much appreciated!

  • Post XML over HTTPS in a loop

    HI,
    I have a requirement to post XMLs over HTTPS. I also am supposed to retrieve the response XML, interpret it and do some processing based on the response status in the response XML. This has to be done for each XML.
    Currently I am establishing a new HTTPsURLConnection for each XML, wrting the XML to output stream, retrieving the response from input stream and then releasing the connection using disconnect() method.
    Is this the recommended approach or should I be creating just one connection for posting all the XMLs? Also, does java use some kind of connection pooling while creating HTTPURLConnection?
    I am frequently getting "SocketTimeoutException Exception --> connect timed out" while processing large number of XMLs. Is this exception due to large number of connections that I am creating?
    This program is running as a stand alone program on unix box.
    Regards,
    Jacob

  • Http-post XML file to Localhost:1301 - No XI available

    Hi guys,
    I hava a problem finding a preferrably easy answer to a task: send a XML-file via http-post to localhost:13001. I am using the iXML library to create the XML (as it contains some stuff not available in the crm) and thats about it. The system will not have an XI available, but the application listening on 13001 will be expecting data, whenever it ist sent. As far as I know, the file should be sent everytime a user presses a certain button.
    Never done this before, so even basics are fine.
    Any help appreciated!!
    Thanks

  • Post XML over HTTPS

    We are trying to do the following. Can anyone help by providing any pointers as how to do it.
    1. A java client will be posting XML over http(s) to the Tomcat server.
    2. The Tomcat server has to do the following:
    - Validate the user credentails and verify that it is an valid user on IDM
    - Do some DB operations and return back a response XML
    We are trying to do this by having the Java client post XML over http to a jsp hosted on the Tomcat server
    How do i retrieve the XML data from the HTTP post (from the HTTP body) ?
    Thanks

  • HTTP Service XML Response?

    Hi,
    I have implemented an HTTP service to my getXML.php which produces XML output. I used Flash Builder Data Menu to do that, not write services by hand. It created a service packet, and also created an object type as return value( valueObjects). It converts responed XML file into that object type, and user can use that object to access data. However, I want to get XML file directly, I do not want that conversion. I looked at action script codes, and modify operation.resultType but it did not work. Any suggestiontions?
              _serviceControl = new HTTPMultiService("http://localhost/XMLprovider/");
             var operations:Array = new Array();
             var operation:Operation;
             var argsArray:Array;
             operation = new Operation(null, "getXML");
             operation.url = "getXML.php";
             operation.method = "GET";
             argsArray = new Array("s");
             operation.argumentNames = argsArray;
             operation.serializationFilter = serializer0;
             operation.properties = new Object();
             operation.properties["xPath"] = "/";
          operation.resultType = valueObjects.SelectionXML;
             operations.push(operation);
             _serviceControl.operationList = operations;

    You will need to modify the <Service Name> class.
    You can modify its constructor as:
    package services.srv
        import mx.rpc.http.Operation;
    public class Srv extends _Super_Srv
        public function Srv()
            var operation:Operation = _serviceControl.getOperation("getXML") as Operation;
            operation.serializationFilter = null;
            operation.resultFormat = "xml";
    You can then get the XML from the result event as:
    protected function Operation1Result_resultHandler(event:ResultEvent):void
                    trace((event.result as XMLNode).toString());

  • WSIF Binding Error while invoking HTTP Service

    Hi,
    I am getting a WSIF binding error when invoking an HTTP service. I was able to successfully invoke another HTTP service on the same server. However, while invoking some of the others services, we are getting errors. The wsdl binding declaration is:
    <binding name="JACADACustMaintBinding" type="tns:JACADACustMaintPortType">
    <http:binding verb="POST"/>
    <operation name="PostData">
    <http:operation location="/custmaint.cfg"/>
    <input>
    <mime:mimeXml part="CustMaintInput"/>
    <mime:content type="text/xml"/>
    </input>
    <output>
    <mime:mimeXml part="CustMaintOutput"/>
    <mime:content type="text/xml"/>
    </output>
    </operation>
    </binding>
    The error we are getting is as follows:

    Hi,
    Using the exact same wsdl i was able to get a response from the HTTP service using OSB. I created a business service targeting this wsdl. Then created a proxy service to route the xml to the business service.
    I was able to successfully invoke and get response from the HTTP service without making any change to the wsdl.
    Could this be a bug in BPEL PM? Should I raise an SR?

  • Problems with SAP BC to post a request to https URL

    Hello,
    in a integration scenario one of our partners wants to send a xml to our server via https.<br/>
    I tried this internal with a test business connector. I simple use the WmPublic.pub.client http service.<br/>
    I try to post a record to an https:// URL and get an error. It seems that there is some trouble with the ssl handshake. However it is working in the browser.<br/>
    The option Security -> Certificates -> Trusted Certificates -> CA Certificates Directory is 'unspecified'. Therefore no server certificate should be reject.<br/>

    Ok - in this case you need to include to session based SSL setup in your flow (scenario).
    The pub.security:setKeyAndChain and pub.security:clearKeyAndChain services are used to control which client certificate
    the SAP BC server presents to remote servers. You need to use these services to switch between certificates and
    certificate chains if you are not using aliases for remote servers.
    List of services to be used:
    pub.security:clearKeyAndChain
    -- Associates the default key and certificate chain with the subsequent set of invoked services.
    pub.security:setKeyAndChain
    -- Processes a digital signature to make sure that the provided data has not been modified. The signature input is the DER encoding of the PKCS#7 SignedData object.
    pub.security.pkcs7:sign
    -- Creates a PKCS7 SignedData object.
    pub.security.pkcs7:verify
    -- Processes a digital signature to make sure that the provided data has not been modified.
    pub.security.util:createMessageDigest
    -- Generates a message digest for a given message.
    pub.security.util:getCertificateInfo
    -- Retrieves information (e.g., serial number, issuer, expiration date) from a digital certificate.
    pub.security.util:loadPKCS7CertChain
    -- Converts a certificate chain that is in PKCS7 format to a list (a one-dimensional array) of byte arrays.
    Example:
    Invoke pub.client:http to send data to Company D.
    Invoke pub.security:setKeyAndChain using the key and certificate chain for Company B.
    Invoke pub.client:http to send data to Company B.
    Invoke pub.security:setKeyAndChain using the key and certificate chain for Company C.
    Invoke pub.client:http to send data to Company C.
    Invoke pub.security:clearKeyAndChain to revert back to the default key and certificate chain for Company
    Au2019s server.
    Invoke pub.client:http to send data to Company D.

  • How to send concurrent xml request to Soap service.

    Hi
    I am working in a scenario. where i need to send more than 10 concurrent xml request to soap service hosted in IIS.
    and that service directly pools to biztalk recieve location. Presently i am sending a single request through soap ui.
    Is there any tool available to send more than 10 xml request to service. If not then how we send through C#.code

    Hi Anagh,
    Microsoft BizTalk LoadGen 2007 Tool would be the perfect fit for your requirement where you need to send "Concurrent" request to SOAP.
    Using LoadGen you can configure it use to number of concurrent threads to send messages. In its config file, it has a section called
    <NumThreadsPerSection> which can be used to set the number of concurrent threads that LoadGen will use to send messages.
    Read one of my old blogposts where I have talked about using LoadGen for simulating message load for SOAP services.
    http://indway-is.blogspot.co.uk/2009/01/loadgen-testharness-for-soap-transport.html
