When I try to open a recent document I get the following message "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document."  I have downloaded version Pages version 5.2.2 and the app store confirms this (and won't let me download it again), but my Pages About reports that I am using 4.3

Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents

  • Why use KeyExtractor here? How about remove it?

    Please see the following script:
    setResults = cache.entrySet(new AndFilter(
    new LikeFilter(new KeyExtractor("getLastName"), "S%",
    (char) 0, false),
new EqualsFilter("getHomeAddress.getState", "MA")));Why use KeyExtractor here? How about remove it and make it like:
    setResults = cache.entrySet(new AndFilter(
    new LikeFilter("getLastName"), "S%"),
new EqualsFilter("getHomeAddress.getState", "MA")));Is this scrip right?

I Googled for KeyExtractor and the likeliest-looking thing was javadocs for com.tangosol.util.extractor.KeyExtractor on an Oracle site.
Why don't you check around the Oracle developer site for a forum specifically about whatever product this is?

  • Nokia N8: Post here apps that use the WLAN to help...

I keep on seeing loads of N8 users who have problems because they keep on getting WLAN connections which causes battery drain.  I do not have this problem myself, but I thought it could be useful for everyone who knows of an application wherever from - Ovi Store or another 3rd party download - that automatically connects, to list it in this thread, to help people who are trying to track down these 'ghostly' background battery drainers.
Obvious ones are to set widgets to offline, but after that they often struggle to know what is making the connections.
I WOULD suggest that I update this first post as people add apps, to include the names of all apps that other forum users list, but after a short while you can no longer edit posts - so can I suggest we use the following form for subsequent posts ....?
    App Name: ABCDEF
    Description of connection activity/symptoms
Whether it can be stopped and if so how.
    I'll start
    Angry Birds Seasons
The Season's Greetings levels in Angry Birds Seasons require an internet connection when they are launched the first time. The Trick Or Treat levels also included in Angry Birds Seasons game can be played without an internet connection. I think the usage is pretty low.
I noticed this because I have Nokia Labs Situations, and it is set to switch to my Home profile when it is in range of my WLAN. Whilst playing Angry Birds, it keeps switching out of Home profile to General profile and back. I presume, but may be wrong, that it grabs the WLAN to do this, and then Situations lose the WLAN, thinks it is out of range, and exits the Home profile. When Angry Birds has finished its connectivity, it re-acquires the WLAN and switched back to the Home profile again.
Don't think it can be switched off, but usage is so low it is not a problem.
My current phone - Samsung Galaxy Note

It is only listed on the Windows phone and Microsoft Store sites -
    http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/phones/nokia-lumia-icon?model=rm-927
    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Nokia-Lumia-Icon-for-Verizon/productID.295621200
I imagine Verizon won't list it until the 20th, as that is the official release date.

  • Performance of filtering a report using another report

    Hello,
There are really two questions in this post:
    i) Is there an easier way to select all contacts who have never responded positively to a campaign than to filter our report using the output of another report which selects all contacts who responded positively to at least one campaign? While this approach works properly, I have only been able to successfully run the report on a small sample of the entire data set. The report including all contacts who responded positively to at least one campaign contains about 8k records, and our system contains about 12k contacts. When I ran the report on the full data set, I was unable to obtain any output even after waiting for up to 10~15 mins.
ii) If I am using the right approach, does anyone know if CRMOD can handle a report filtered on another report with a data set the size of the one described above?
Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    JP

    Hi,
There are a few things I would suggest here:
    1. Run all your reports individually and export the results to excel. Use the VLOOKUP function in excel to get the dataset you're looking for, once you have the final set you can always create a custom checkbox field and import all your records flagging your field as a 'Y'. That will make things nice and simple for reporting and anything else as all of your records can be identified with a simple filter. I do however guess this is probably a fluctuating on-going process and this may not be appropriate
    2. In your reports add another 'Contact ID' column. Change the calculation to: RCOUNT(Contact.ID). This report should count the unique Id's in your report, you can then apply a filter on it e.g. My Column < 4000 or My Column > 4000. This will limit the number of rows in your report so that you can have multiple feeds. You will obviously need another report for each filter but it should trim the records numbers down for you an make this all possible
    3. Use the MINUS functionality as per my first suggestion on the 1st post, this does not have these limitations but it a pain to setup. You shouldn't have an issue with this if you're using the same subject area for each report, when you start combining lots of different subject areas then it all gets a little more tricky
    Thanks

  • WebI Report using BW Query

    Hi,
I am using WebI Report using BW Query. I don't see some Formulas in Universe which is there in BEx Query.
Did anybody face the same problem before?

    Hi,
I meant that you should post in the forum the calculation contained in the formula that you cannot see in your universe.
But let's start from the begining since you are new to SAP: Did you generated the universe yourself? If the formula was added in the query after the universe was created then you must refresh your universe (In the Universe designer  please select the option "Refresh structure" under the "view" menu) in order to get the newly created formula (I assume we are takling about a calculate figure here) in your universe also.

  • List Edit Reports using Excel Displays

    Guys,
I've known about this functionality for some time, but never got round to investigating the potential..
In many of the PM/CS list-edit reports (e.g. IW38) we can also view the data in Excel format. SAP has provided two files as follows:
    - SAP_MM.XLS: has two macros assigned (ALV_SAP_Exit and ALV_CUS_Exit)
    - SAP_MM.XLS: no macro assignment

  • Truncate member names in Finanial Reporting / Using Member Alias in HFR

    Hello,
We have a financial Reporting where the Member names look like the following:
    A_MemberName, P_MemberName, MemberName_C, etc.
We want to remove the '_' and the prefix such as A, P, C, etc.
Also, we want to remove the suffix '_C' where they occur.
How can we do this in Financial Reporting?
Turns out that the description/alias of the Member removes the prefix as the alias is: MemberName. However, the MemberAlias funciton is not working for some reason. Is it because the autocalculation is set? Either way, is there a way to do this in Financial Reporting? O
We allso want a generic way to make sure that the Alias shows and not the member name (auto-calculation is set to true). Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no easy way to fix this issue on FR itself. I believe there was a similar post on the forums about a month ago. I think Iain recommended what I will recommend now. (Iain: Feel free to correct me)
Depending on your database connection, for example in an Essbase database, you can create an alternate alias table, which wouldn't have the prefix or suffix. FR lets you use different alias tables, so you could use this new alternate alias table instead of your current one.
Let me know it this doesn't make sense.
    Cheers,
    Mehmet
p.s. My bad, I thought this was the Reporting Forum. If you like to search your issue in the reporting forum, here is the link: Hyperion Query and Reporting

  • Help !!! freeze and stuck on grey screen, difficult to reboot, here is my EtreCheck report

Help !!! I experienced more and more issues since I upgraded to mavericks and i brought my MBP 15" (from 2011, out of warranty) to the Apple genius bar a couple of days after my computer started to freeze and crash on a grey screen with less and less possibility to reboot it (tried all advices i could find on the forums to reboot in other ways, etc. ). The overnight tests at Apple gave nothing, they just decided to reinitiate the software and concluded that the problem was solved.
But the problem happened again: when i reloaded my backup from Time Machine, i could run the whole process till the end then when I was asked to restart, I couldn’t open the finder, my screen was stuck on a light grey.
I could reboot it (always in maintaining the off button to stop the machine or in using the single mode) but it’s non stable, after too many manipulations, the screen freezes or divides in 2 parts with lines, etc. And I have to try again different ways to reboot…
I took a new appointment to the Apple Genius bar, but in the mean time, I tried to repair the authorizations, and I have to say that the list is really long, even if I did the operation more 3 times…
I think there is a software conflict somewhere and find the possibility to check the system with EtreCheck (thanks! I will also bring this paper to the Genius bar technician).
Please, would there be someone who could read this information and gives me some advices and opinion on what could be problematic, what to do etc.
In end, what is very weird to me:
I could read on this forum that “startup items” are no more necessary since OS 10.4. I tried to delete the ones that appear here in library/startupitems, and found another one which is not mentioned in this EtreCheck list : startouc
Also when I tried to delete those items, it was refused by the finder with the message saying that this items are in use…
Another point: I uninstalled the application Chiavetta Internet 42 a week ago when I started to have the problems. I was in Italy and this is a usb key with pin for internet. At the moment thought about a possible conflict with the key and deleted every item concerning this installation. This is because I don’t understand that it appears now in the “User login Items”.
Thank you so much in advance

  • How to create a report using XML data source from Crystal Report Designer

    Hi,
Iu2019m having Crystal Report Designer XI R2 SP4. Iu2019m trying to create a report using XML data source stored on disk. This is a customer order report and the xml is structured in such a way that it has an order details header part (master) and then it has several order lines (detail). One order line can have several order line characteristics (detail-detail). So what I need to know is now I can design this layout from the designer. If this was done using views I can do it with sub-reports but using xml data this seems to be different. Can you help me to design this layout? I have included the xml and xsd as well.
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Chanaka

    Hi Sourashree,
Thank you for the response and ideas you have given me so far. I can get the fetch the data from the data source without any problem. That is I do the following,
    1.     New Report
    2.     From Create New Connection-> XML
    3.     Provide the u201CLocal XML Fileu201D and have u201CSpecify Schema Fileu201D checked -> Next
    4.     Provide the u201CLocal Schema Fileu201D  -> Finish
Then I can see the following under XML
    + CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST
            CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/ CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP/ORDER_LINES
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/ CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP/ORDER_LINES/ORDER_LINE
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/ CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP/ORDER_LINES/ORDER_LINE/ORDER_LINE_CHARACTERSTICS
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/ CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP/ORDER_LINES/ORDER_LINE/ORDER_LINE_CHARACTERSTICS/CHARACTERSTIC_ITEM
And from here if I add the following three I can get all the fields I need to the report
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/ CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP/ORDER_LINES/ORDER_LINE
         CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP_REQUEST/ CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP/ORDER_LINES/ORDER_LINE/ORDER_LINE_CHARACTERSTICS/CHARACTERSTIC_ITEM
Then I come to the Linking section. Here I canu2019t link anything. There is a common field called u201CInternal_IDu201D but I canu2019t link using it. So I get a message when I click Next. From here I add all the fields.
For this point onwards only I need help. How do I group, add fields and design the layout so I can get an report output as follows.

  • Problem with NIReport.llb\Print HTML Report using IE.vi on different machines

We have 5 machines here in our workgroup which have the same state regarding security patches and other system updates. We recently found out that there is a problem with the NIReport.llb\Print HTML Report using IE.vi on the different machines.
If I would open the VI on MachineA the control could be loaded. If I would open the VI on MachineB the control could be loaded. If I would copy the VI from MachineB to MachineA and open the VI the control could not be loaded. If I would copy the VI from MachineA to MachineB and open the VI on MachineB the control could be loaded. MachineB could load the version from MachineA and MachineB but on MachineA only the own version will load. I have seen that both versions have the same GUID for the Microsoft Webbrowser but are different in some other aereas.
Since printing HTML Reports is part of the application which will be distributed as application I want to know if someone else have seen such a behaviour or has got problems distributing an application.
Also I want to know which additional information is stored in an Active-X container about the control beside the GUID.
We have Win XP Prof SP2 with MS IE 6.0.2900.2180 on all machines in the workgroup.

    Hi Tom,
this is the VI <vi.lib>\Utillitiy\NIReport.llb\Print HTML Report using IE.vi copied from a machine that can load and run the VI and it will print. On this machine the control in the VI is white.
This VI will give the "Control could not be loaded" message on my machine.
The file shdocvw.dll is 2006-10-23 16:18 size 1.460 KB and I verifyed that both machines have the same version of this file.

  • Can I create one single  crystal report using 2 bex queries

    HI all,
I have 2 bex queries and has to develope a single crystal report .Is it possible???? If so, than how to connect two bex queries  and develope  one single crystal report.Any other option is also fine. I mean ....no need to use crystal..( I can go for one single webi..).But need to know the approach ...
or else...can I create universe on 1 bex and other universe on other bex ..and go for one single webi report..
Only problem is client is particular about one single report(either crystal or webi)
if i go for webi ...I know we can use link universe option but I dont know whether it works fro OLAP environment.
Please let me know if I can link OLAp universes and go for 1 single webi report.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Mahathi

You can use either CR or WebI.
In CR Designer create the report using the SAP toolbar (Create report from query) based on the 1st BEx query. Then use the Database expert (first entry in the Database menu) to add an additional connection to your 2nd BEx query (+Create new connection->SAP BW DX query). You can then join the results of the 2 different queries in the database expert also.. Please note that if you do NOT want to join the result sets, then it is more efficient to use subreports. Create two different CR reports, each based on one of the BEx queries and then use one of those as your main report and insert the other one into it as subreport. Once embedded you do not have to keep the separate .rpt file of your second report.
For Webi you must build 2 universes, each based on one of your BEx queries. In your report you can add multiple queries based on different universes. You can join the results sets here by using the Merge dimensions button in the report editor area.
    Regards,
    Stratos
PS; Keep in mind that joining a large number of rows at report level (either in CR or WebI) can cause performance problems. If this is your requirement, how many rows do you expect to get back from each individual query?

  • How create animated power view reports using sharepoint list as a data source in sharepoint 2010?

    Hi All,
I got a client requirement to create reports using SharePoint List as data source. The report should show reflection depends on values changed (I mean animation).
I have heard about the power view/power pivot which does this kind of animations in reports.
Can someone please guide me on creating reports which shows animations
In power view/power pivot using SharePoint List as data source in SharePoint 2010.
    Thanks in advance.
    MercuryMan

    Hi MercuryMan,
Yes, Power View, a feature of SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services Add-in for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 or SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Edition, is an interactive data exploration, visualization, and presentation experience.
It provides multiple views featuring tiles, slicers, a chart filter, and a number of visualizations, including cards, small multiples, and a bubble chart. So, we can use Power View to do intuitive ad-hoc reporting for business users such as data analysts, business
    decision makers, and information workers.
Currently, Power View report only supports two types of data models: PowerPivot Worksheet, and data models based on Analysis Services Tabular Model or Multidimensional Cube.
In your scenario, you can create PowerPivot worksheets using SharePoint List as data source, deploy the PowerPivot worksheet to a SharePoint Library or PowerPivot Gallery, and then generate Power View reports based on the PowerPivot worksheets on the SharePoint
    site.
To use SharePoint List as data source in Excel PowerPivot, you can refer to the following resource:
