Posting to a separate facebook page from within Lightroom

Hi,
I set up the fb publishing service and it works really well. The problem that I currently have is that I created a professional page and want the albums to appear there. How can I achieve this? I do not want the albums in my private timeline, but in this professional page.
Thanks
muxel

Thanks a lot! I tried to play with this plugin, but did not find out how to post to other pages. FB has me change the "user" to see the business pages and on the business pages I do not see the other stuff. I guess for posting to the business page there would have to be a setting in the plugin somewhere, but I could not find anything like that.
Best wishes

    Hi adobespurs,
    To extract pages from a PDF, you need to use Acrobat. If you don't have Acrobat, you can try it for free for 30 days. Please see www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

  • Can I change Filename from within Lightroom?

    I am in the Trial Period with Lightroom, having just used it for two days. I assume that one must be able to change a photo's filename from within Lightroom, but I surely can't see how to do it, having looked in the Help file and through all the menus.
    Here's what I'm trying to do. When I take photos, I create a descriptive filename that tells me what's in the image. Then I import a big batch. What I want to do is to create slideshows from those images in a different order from the importing order: maybe it's slide 23, then 15, then 10, etc. I was hoping to do this by sticking sort numbers on the front of the filenames (changing the filenames), and then sorting on the filenames to create the desired slideshow sequence.
    But, I can't find a way to change the filename within LR. If I do it outside LR, then I lose whatever work I've already done on the images.
    Am I overlooking some obvious better way to do this?
    Thanks

    I'm running LR 1.2, Windows XP, 2 GB RAM, big disks.

    Even easier, select the image or images and press F2 to rename.<br /><br /><[email protected]> wrote in message <br />news:[email protected]..<br />> Hi Bob,<br />><br />> To change the filename for an individual file select the file from grid <br />> view and look over at the Metadata panel on the right side of the screen. <br />> Click on the filename in the metadata panel and it should change <br />> appearance to show that it can now be edited. • How do I link to an anchor point  within a web page from within a PDF

    Hello,
    Can someone tell me how to link to an anchor point on a webpage from within a PDF?
    I created a page in Word and when i add my url with the # to reference the anchor eg. www.google.com/web#test1 and test the link it all works fine. I then create a PDF of this same page however the PDF seems to strip out the URL and looks to reference a file #test1.
    Any suggestions, ideas?
    Thanks

  • Referencing HTML page from within a movie clip

    Hi
    Hope someone can help with this.
    I have a simple horizontal scrolling gallery of 24 thumbnails
    in Flash, the thumbnail images are loaded into the boxes using
    actionscript. I would like each thumbnail to link to a html page of
    my choice. There is a movie clip instance called panel with the 24
    buttons inside it and on the first button as a test I've placed the
    following action script:
    on (release) {
    getURL("team.html","_self");
    When testing this movie from within Flash (CTRL, ENT) the
    button links to the html file (which is in the same folder as the
    SWF) with no problem. The problem is when I preview the page in a
    browser and try to click on the first button nothing is happening.
    I've tried it in both IE7 and Firefox with the same result.
    The flash thumbnail clip is placed as a flash object into a
    html page using dreamweaver.
    I'm sure this is something simple such as navigating the
    timeline but I've tried a few things like _root. but still no joy.
    Hope someone can help.
    Thanks, Jo

    Try
    on (release) {
    getURL("
    http://site.com/team.html","_self");
    }

  • Cant move or rename  images or folders from within lightroom 5.

    Lightroom wont allow me to move or rename either single images or folders within lightroom. Keep getting an unknown error occurred message. All images are currently on an external hard drive. Any ideas?

    Yes. All images are imported into lightroom and editable. Green light is also showing on the folders tab just the same as with my c drive. I can move/rename images and folders etc from explorer but then have to locate them for lightroom to find.

  • Buying prints from within Lightroom?

    I'm a pro and currently buy quite a few prints for clients from within Aperture. The convenience, price and quality is great. However I'm switching to Lightroom and the only thing that seems to be missing is buying prints from inside the application. I've looked for a plugin with no luck. I guess there probably is one? The other option is to export pictures and upload them to a lab but that would complicate the workflow and take longer. Any ideas? I'm in the UK. Thanks.

    Hey Michael, I've been in touch with a few labs in the UK to see if they had an API (software interface for developers), but none seemed interested in allowing someone to creata a plugin for their services. You could look at Smugmug or Zenfolio as services for print buying, and while there are publish plugins for these, it's still a step extra to order.

  • Trying to post images to Facebook from within Lightroom

    I know that this will work, but unfortunately I have not been able to get this to work, and after spending nearly 3 hours with technical support, I am no closer than when I started the call.
    I get the following error message
    This content is currently unavailable
    The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page.
    Has anyone seen this or know what to do with it since technical support kept getting this and did not know what to do?
    I am on Windows 7 with latest updates along with Lightroom 3.4.1 on a 64 bit system with 12 gig of ram.  Lightroom was originally installed on D drive but per support, it is now installed on the C drive which resulted in the same behavior.
    The account setup on Facebook appears to be corrrect and the image appears to post until clicking on the "view on Facebook" is selected.
    Thanks,
    David

    Yes. All images are imported into lightroom and editable. Green light is also showing on the folders tab just the same as with my c drive. I can move/rename images and folders etc from explorer but then have to locate them for lightroom to find.

  • How do you hyperlink a rollover to another page from within your iweb site?

    Ive made a bunch of rollovers for my iweb navigation bar. If youve created a rollover you know you have to link the images to a image hosting site. here as you would just normally drag and drop a image from your desk top. Because of the way iweb works, if you are using images from a image hosting sit, you can no longer adjust the characteristics of the images i.e. colors, size, and in this case the hyperlink. More specifically you cant change the hyperlink to a page within the iweb site.
    So the problem im trying to figure out is how to link the rollover to a page within my iweb site.
    now you can actually change the hyperlink of the rollover. however you must do this by adjusting the html within the snippet of the rollover. The problem i found is that iweb doesnt creat sub domains for each page. a entire iweb site with multible pages uses only one domain which is the homepage. so i cant just type a subdomain of another page into the snippet hyperlink because the subdomain doesnt exist.
    here is the link to my site. youll notice i did figure out a work around with the "contact us" button but its a huge pain in the butt. i had to create a new domain and a new site then attach the referal index.html to that new domain. todo this for every single button is very difficult.
    http://springgardenranch.tk
    so i guess the bigger question is, is there a easier way to do this?
    perhaps if there was a way to create a subdomains like springgardenranch.tk/contactus withing iweb for each page. but i dont even know if thats possible.
    thanks for you help.

    Because of the way iweb works, if you are using images from a image hosting sit, you can no longer adjust the characteristics of the images i.e. colors, size, and in this case the hyperlink.
    Then use  your own images. Then you can create them the way you want.
    Here's how I do it :
    http://cafenoir.atspace.com/Hover/
    And here's the menu in an iWeb page :
    http://cafenoir.atspace.com/HNBF/
    And here you can learn how to do it. Follow the links to the How-To pages.
    http://cafenoir.atspace.com/
    You may have to learn HTML. CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, DOM and how iweb creates its webpages.

    Is it this page? https://www.facebook.com/Firefox
    If you are using the default "timeline" view, then there should be a box on the left side below the Highlights button. If you are using any add-ons or userscripts to reformat the page, that could be an issue.

  • Calling a PHP page from within Java

    We have an application that uses a lot of PHP (both web and cmd line based PHP calls) to manage the solution. One of the PHP pages in particular has two parameters that it takes to identify a city and a site within that city. The URL looks like this:
    http://host/directory/page.php?city=somecity&sitecode=1234&log=Y
    This page then logs in to the DB for that city and finds certain records for that site code and deletes them and creates a log file.There is a scheduled job that sends an email every night to a group (of which I am a member) with a listing of sites that contain these records that need to be deleted. Then someone (now me) opens a web browser and modifies the URL using the email and processes each one, one at a time.
    So, short term I have written an html form with a little javascript to give me a couple of fields, one for city and one for site.
    I then read those fields and call a js window.open() and open another page with the correct data. This way I can sit there and type them all in one after another then go back through each page and see the results later. This is a llot quicker as some of the pages can run for minutes finding and deleting the records. This page is provided by a third party so we can't modify it.
    Long term I would like to have a java app that finds all of these records and eliminates the records one at a time. So the class might look like this:
    Public class DeleteRecords() {
    String phpResult = null;
    String phpPage = null;
    Loop Through All DBS {
    // Some SQL that finds the records in this DB
    // The phpResult variable should be the php/html content that makes up the page after the process completes
    phpResult = http://host/directory/page.php?city=somecity&sitecode=1234&log=Y
    if(phpResult.contains("_Successful")){
                   // log successful event for city, site, and path to log file
    else {
              // log failed event for city, site, and path to log file }
    } // End DB loop
    } // End ClassIs this possible and are their samples somewhere on java.sun.com?
    Thanks,
    Shawn

    There has to be an easier way though... like JDBC or something?If only that were true... The problem is the application is third-party, so we can't really 'touch' any of the tools being provided. My plan is to identify the orphaned records via JDBC but I need to use the tool provided for the clean up.
    Well then the first part of my post is your answer.

  • IPhone SDK - Display HTML page from WITHIN package

    Hi all,
    As part of my iPhone app, I want to display an HTML page.
    Now, I've got a browser component working just fine, and have no problem displaying anything on the web, but i don't know how to reference an html page that is WITHIN my application package.
    I'd much rather do it this way, so that my app can be used offline.
    I'm sure its a simple thing to do... anyone know what i need to do here to make this work?

    NSString *welcomeFile = [bundle pathForResource:@"welcome" ofType:@"html" inDirectory:@"files"];
    NSString *content = [NSString stringWithContentsOfURL:[NSURL fileURLWithPath:welcomeFile]];
    NSString *baseUrl = [bundle pathForResource:@"files" ofType:nil];
    [webView loadHTMLString:content baseURL:[NSURL fileURLWithPath:baseUrl]];

  • Calling a separate BSP Page from a Web Application Builder BPS page.

    I have been creating a basic BPS application for manually entering data into BW.
    We are allowing users 2 options:
    1. Manual Data entry via a web Page created in the Web Interface Builder.
    2. Via a Flat File using the process described in the "How To" Guide on how to load a flat file into BPS Web Page.  This was done in the Mime repository via a BSP application (transaction se80).
    I want to incorporate both method on a single web page (or group of linked pages) so that the user can choose which method that they want to use.
    My question is: How can I call the flat file loading screen (created in se80) from the Manual data entry screen that was created in Web Interface Builder?
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Adam,
    You dont have to create a new tab also. You can incorporate the newly created BSP page
    below the Manual Entry layout. Do the following step
    1. Create a text element below the layout in web application builder. Choose Edit long text
    2.insert this code
    <iframe id="Text86" border="true" name="upload4" src="/sap/bw/mime/bex/icons/pixel.gif" width="580" height="65"></iframe>
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
      var frame  = document.getElementById( 'Text86' );
      var url    = '/sap/bc/bsp/sap/z100bps001/upload_hours.htm';
    // set source attribute of iframe to new URL
      frame.src = url;
    </script>
    Now you should be able to the see the newly created BSP page below your layout.
    Coming to your other question on "hard coding" the answer is you shouldnt specify the absolute url, just specify the relative URL and system will take care of the rest.
    Eg. - '/sap/bc/bsp/sap/z100bps001/upload_hours.htm'
    Let me know if you need any help.
    Thanks,
    Praveen

  • Launch a web page from within vsftpd ftp server

    I'm kinda new to all of this so I believe there's a simple solution for what I need I just don't know how it's done.
    So I've configured a vsftpd, ftp server and enabled the anonymous user, therefore when I do
    ftp://my_location.com
    a directory like view is displayed in my web browser, corresponding to /srv/ftp where the files for the anonymous account are kept. Now I've made a little web page and I've copied it there, and can be launched running main.html so the address to access the web page would be
    ftp://my_location.com/main.html
    My problem is that I don't want anybody to have the possibility to see the directory like display so I'm wondering if when someone does ftp://my_location.com can't this be redirected so it will do ftp://my_location.com/main.html instead?, making the display of files and directories impossible from the ftp://my_location.com
    Thanks for your time

    fukawi2 wrote:The FTP protocol does not support redirection like HTTP does. It is a File Transport Protocol (hence, the name!) which is designed to give users a directory listing of files for transferring. You are trying to hammer a nail with a fork (ie, you are using the wrong tool.)
    Okey at least now I know it's not possible.

  • Firefox 3.6.13 will not open as the browser to view web pages from within Dreamweaver CS3

    I build websites with Dreamweaver CS3. I am operating on Mac OS 10.4.11 using Firefox 3.6.13 - The problem began on the last software update. I like to use Firefox instead of Safari. Up to the point where I upgraded, I never had a problem but now, when I go to preview/debug in browser, Firefox loads but it goes no farther than my home page ... it will not load the Dreamweaver page preview. Safari works fine. So I think there may be a problem loading 3.6.13 past the startup page.

    Here's the fix. Dump Firefox 3.6.13 and Re-Install Firefox 3.5.16. Problem solved.
