Posting values from a table into checkboxes in a checkboxgroup

Here is my situation.
I have a table I am reading into my web dynpro. There are five fields, each may or may not contain an 'X'.
I have a checkboxgroup in my web dynpro. What I need to do is read field one, and if it is 'X', set the first checkbox in the group to true. Then do the same with the other four fields. I am using a checkbox group because I am reading the labels for the fields from an existing table.
I am have not used a checkboxgroup so this is new to me. Can anyone provide some code examples I can use to get my head around this?

Basically you need a context-node of cardinality 0..n. The number of element in the node represents number of checkboxes in the group.
bind the enabled property based on the value X from the table column.

i need to create a report , when user enters values in the selection screen of that report, that values must be transported into a transaction VKM5 and then that transported values must be updated in a ztable.
ex:

Inserting data from one table into another table using PL/SQL

I am trying to insert values from one table into another using PL procedure, the values I want to retrieve from the table riverside1 are charac_id and charac_type and insert these values into another table called riverside2 , the stored procedure zorgs_gorfs(x,y) accepts two parameters which are 2 charac_id's of d characters in riverside1 then using insert statements inserts these characters from riverside1 into riverside2.

Copy selected values from a table control into another table control

hi there,
as seen in the subject i need to copy selected values from a table control into another table control in the same screen. as i dont know much about table controls i made 2 table controls with the wizard and started to change the code... right now im totally messed up. nothing works anymore and i don't know where to start over.
i looked up the forums and google, but there is nothing to help me with this problem (or i suck in searching the internet for solutions)
i have 2 buttons. one to push the selected data from the top table control into the bottom tc and the other button is to push selected data from the bottom tc into the top tc. does somebody has a sample code to do this?

How to retrieve 2 values from a table in a LOV

Hi
I'm pretty new to APEX. I try to retrieve two values from a table using a LOV. I have a table named DEBIT with then columns SITE, NAME and KEY
I want to display NAME to the user in a list. When the user select an item from the list, I want to retrieve the data of the SITE and KEY column of this item in order to launch an SQL command based on this two values.
How to retrieve thes two values whant the user chooses an item from the list ?

From what I understood about your requirement, you want a 'select list with submit' which displays "NAME" and based on the value selected, you want to get the corresponding values for "SITE" and "KEY" from the table.
Step 1: Create a select list with submit, say P1_MYSELECT 
Use something like this in the dynamic list of values for the select list: 
SELECT NAME display_value, NAME return_value
FROM DEBIT 
Step 2: Create a page process of type PL/SQL block. Also create 2 hidden items P1_KEY and P1_SITE. 
In the PL/sQL, write something like:
DECLARE
v_key DEBIT.KEY%TYPE;
v_site DEBIT.SITE%TYPE;
CURSOR v_cur_myvals IS
 SELECT KEY, SITE
 FROM DEBIT
 WHERE NAME = :P1_MYSELECT;
BEGIN
OPEN v_cur_myvals;
LOOP
 FETCH v_cur_myvals
 INTO v_key,v_site;
 EXIT WHEN v_cur_myvals%NOTFOUND;
:P1_KEY := v_key;
:P1_SITE := v_site;
END LOOP;
CLOSE v_cur_myvals;

Then you can use these values for whatever purpose you need to.

Yes i did try the same ..

When i checked the mtest table it shos me the row inserted...
inside foolter .. Now this means everything did get execute properly
But still the vallue of off_city is null or emtpy...
i check the filed and still its empty..
while mtest had those records..seems like some process is cleaining the values...but cant see such process...
a bit confused..here..I tried on Load after footer...
tried chaning the squence number of process ..but still it doesnt help
some how the session variables gets changed...and it is changed to empty

How to get input text values from adf table - Urgent

Hi Friends,
This is my requirement. I designed customized master - detail - detail page. I customized the page in below format.
1. Master Data Field (Input text,etc) .
2. Detail in table format ( Rows are mapped to child table) and i given two buttons for to create row and delete row. I designed the table based on the example provided in forum for to create customized table. The input text component is mapped to the rows.
Now i want to retrieve all the data's entered in the rows. The table is mapped to child table. When i read the values from the table its showing null.
If any one faced this problem and fixed it, please send me the solution.

Did you look into the valueChangeEvent?
It has oldValue and newValue attributes.

How to get edited row values from ADF table?

I have a table which is populated with data from Bean.
I need to save changes after user make changes in any table cell. InputText is defined for table column component.
I have defined ValueChangeListener for inputText field and AutoSubmit=true. So when user change value in inputText field, method is called:

Problem is that getSelectedRow method doesnt get new (edited) values, old values are still used.
I have tried to use ActiveButton with same method and it works fine in that case. New values are selected from active row and inserted into object.

Values from CRCO Table.

Hi all ,
I need to retreive some values from CRCO table based on the balues fetched from AFRU table. I am writing a select like this
select single KOKRS KOSTL into table itab from CRCO
 where OBJTY = 'A'
 and OBJID = AFRU-ARBID
 and ENDDA >= AFRU-BUDAT
 and BEGDA <= AFRU-BUDAT.
As I need to retreive a single record from above select, but as a result i am getting multiple records.
Can anybody tell me what other keys from AFRU I can specify in the select in order to fetch only a single record.

Object ID you can get from ARBID from AFRU Table. Put value of ARBID in OBJID in table CRCO & get values of KOKRS & KOSTL. That value will be unique for an work center But if ARBID values are many for an AUFNR(order no.) that mean you are using different work center where in may be you are using different cost center(i think controlling area will remain same). & hence SAP creates different records.

- - Remove the CORRESPONDING, so quantity will fill the first field adqntp1. ([ref|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABENOPEN_SQL_WA.htm])
- - Then loop at the internal table and move the quantity when necessary to the 2 other fields.

Numbers: Copy/Paste from multiple tables into 1 single Table?

I would appreciate some guidance in creating a copy/paste script from multiple numbers tables into a different single table within the same numbers document.
The columns in the source table are in different positions to the destination table.
So for example, i would want to copy…
Sheet 1, Table 1 Cell A3 copy to Sheet 2 Table Z Cell B2
Sheet 1, Table 1 Cell B3 copy to Sheet 2 Table Z Cell C2
Sheet 1, Table 1 Cell C3 copy to Sheet 2 Table Z Cell E2
Sheet 1, Table 1 Cell D3 copy to Sheet 2 Table Z Cell F2
Sheet 1, Table 1 Cell E3 copy to Sheet 2 Table Z Cell G2
Sheet 1, Table 1 Cell G3 copy to Sheet 2 Table Z Cell I2
Sheet 1, Table 1 Cell J3 copy to Sheet 2 Table Z Cell H2
and repeat the copy/paste on subsequent rows of each table until there is an empty row in Sheet 1 Table 1 (or if this is difficult, say set the repeat to a max of 30 rows).
The script would then need to move on to Sheet 1 Table 2, and do the same copying to Sheet 2 Table Z (from where the previous copy/paste finished in Table Z).
Repeat process would finalise with Sheet 1 Table 6.
The Paste part would need to be pasting values, as the cells in the source tables do contain some formulas.
At the moment this is all done manually and does take some to to undertake.

are you trying to aggregate data from severl tables into a single table? If so you whould be able to do this without a script. The function indirect() will allow you to construct the proper formula, which you may fill over (in the same row) to the appropriate cells, then fill down.
Here is a small example:
There are three data tables ("Table 1", "Table 2", and "Table 3"). And a summary "Table Z"
In table Z make the first row a header (as shown):
Use column A to enter the Sheet name and colomn B to enter the table name.
In row 1 (the header), enter the cells you want to get
in cell C2 type (or copy and paste from here) the formula:
=INDIRECT($A2&"::"&$B2&"::"&C$1)
now select cell C2, copy now select cell C2 thru H2, paste
now select the cells C2 thu H2, hover the corsor over the bottom edge of the selection, and drag the yellow cirlc down as needed to fill the formula down.
Update the sheet and table names as needed for each row

In 4.3.1 there is a feature that will allow you to do this.
The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) dynamic route leaking feature provides the ability to import routes
between the default-vrf (Global VRF) and any other non-default VRF, to provide connectivity between a
global and a VPN host. The import process installs the Internet route in a VRF table or a VRF route in the
Internet table, providing connectivity.

Can one field of a variant of an ABAP4 program takes value from a table ?

When I run an ABAP4 program, there is one input field called Time Stamp. If I run the program directly (without selecting a variant), this Time Stamp field is filled with a field value from a table called TVARVC, but if I select a variant of this program, this Time Stamp field is filled with another field value of the table TVARVC. It seems that the variant value can be filled with a value in system table, am I right? If this is the case, then how it is programmed?

In the table TVARVC you should insert a new record which name (field NAME) have to begin with SAP_SCMA_ and the type (field TYPE)is P for parameter or S for select-options and the values (field LOW and/or HIGH) are your value.
So you have to create a variant and for input field Time Stamp set flag SELECTION VARIABLE and then push button SELECTION VARIABLES. Now you have to insert the name of your record of TVARVC.
So when user choose this variant the input field Time Stamp is filled with value you have entered in TVARVC.
Now in TVARVC you can insert another record (if you want it isn't avaible for SELECTION VARIABLE function in the variant, you should give it a name it doesn't begin with SAP_SCMA_) and put this value in the input field Time Stamp during INITIALIZATION event:
INITIALIZATION.
SELECT * FROM TVARVC WHERE NAME = ......
Time Stamp = TVARVC-LOW.
