PPAPI Debug player is not throwing error popups

I have installed 16.0.0.228 PPAPI debug flash player for Chrome 39, but it only logs into flashlog and doesn't throw the error popups.
I have checked that: SuppressDebuggerExceptionDialogs=0 in mm.cfg.
With NPAPI debug player, the popups appear. I'm using Windows 7.
Is there something I have missed to check?

I'm not sure that we can throw the pop-ups in the PPAPI world. You may need to tail the various log files instead. There are a couple other threads on this with more specifics.

In SOA 10.1.3.4 BPEL process , i have a asynchronous process which Invokes a Partnerlink and waits in the Recieve Activity. The OnAlarm branch set here waits for 2 hrs, after which the scope throws that Global fault.
I have observed that for some instances, the OnAlarm Branch does not throw error even after about 24 hrs ( though the OnAlarm is set to 2 hrs )
Is this a prodcut defect or something to do with thread level issues ?

Hi,
We did not talk to Oracle last week, but hope to do so this week via web conference. According to Oracle support, the version and patch level we are on should not have the problem we are encountering. Both the Oracle constant and support have been unable to replicate the error when they attempt to recreate our setup on their own servers.
We can produce this issue 100% of the time, on a server with no load at all. it is a brand new environment for development use to which we have deployed the latest versions of our flows. I have deployed a simple flow containing just a Wait 15 minutes, and any instances in flight when I restart BPEL do not wake-up on time. Very occassionally, instances that previously failed to wake after a restart do wake after subsequent restarts, but that is not 100% of the time.
Hope to conference with Oracle on Wednesday.

I have used the following code to enter the data into the table maintenance it is working fine and throwing the error when the tax type is not the one which i have given in the select statements but the problem is when i have given the customer no which is not there in the XD02 tcode, it is accepting and showing the error message as MESSAGE E000(E4) WITH 'Please change the tax classification of ZCST as' '1' ', in Sales Area Data'. now i have to check the customer no from XD02 and if it is existing in that tcode it should allow to save in the table maintenance otherwise throw a message as the 'Customer no does not exist, this I am unable to write so how can i check please help me .

Though, this should work, the use of RTTI as Uwe suggested would be best practise approach as far as dynamic programming is concerned. Anyhow it is still up to you which one you pick.

I noticed now that this line is not necessary
modify table <style_tab> from <style_wa>.
as we simply are working with field symbols, so changes made to <style_wa> are already visible in that table <style_tab>.

Debug player is not running, but is installed?

Hi I have installed numerous times the debug player for firefox and also for IE.
But still the regular player is running in the browsers? I uninstalled all players with the uninstall tool but still I get no debug player running in my browser. This way I can't debug my application.
Does anybody know why the player is still the regular one and not the debug player after installing the debug player version?
And does anybody has a solution for it? Is there maybe something I need to do during uninstall or something because until now I have no idea what to do further.

What's your SWF development environment? Flash Builder, Flash Professional?
I think these applications handle the debugger differently.
Can you please try the following:
Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash. (on 64-bit: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash)
Open the mms.cfg file.
Add the following entries:
ErrorReportingEnable=1
TraceOutputFileEnable=1
MaxWarnings=50
Now try to run the SWF file.
Go to the location mentioned above and open the flashlog.txt created.
See if it logs errors.

Submit button not throwing error

I have a Search Region and a table to show the data based on Search criteria...After search I am modifying the some fields with invalid data in Result table
and I am clicking the Submit button, it is throwing error(I written Exception in EO level) , the same time if i click the submit button second time , it is not validating and throwing the error and record is saving to database with invalid data.
Could you please help me and let me know what I am missing here?

H.264 Not Throwing Errors? Size Limit?

Hello,
I've been experiencing a very odd issue that I'm trying to narrow down. I've discovered the joys of H.264, and converted some smaller files (20-30 minute files) using this codec. (I used to use Sorensen 3).
Now I have a 2-hour video clip (without audio at this point) that I'm trying to transcode to H.264. The odd thing is, after approximately 24 hours of encoding (yes, it's a 2-hour clip, so I know it will take a while), the resultant file is empty.
By empty, I mean that it's either 0k, 4k, or 8k. All the while, QT Pro did not throw any errors to me.
I should have enough disk space for conversion, and have tried it on two different models (Mac Mini--I forget the speed, and G4 400MHz), both with the same result. I'm also using QT 7.0.3 and turned off sleep on both machines (including drive sleep).
Any ideas of what I might be missing? Two other factors that I different is that the shorter clips I would convert the size to 320x240, whereas the larger clip I'm keeping at 720x480, and the data rate I would clip on the smaller files to 500kb/s and the larger one at 1000kp/b and 1500 kb/s.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of VLC Player. I had no idea what VLC is but it seems a safe (and free) feature. I googled it and downloaded latest version for XP. All DVDs now play perfectly! Still no joy with other players but who cares. Many thanks, full marks. Owen

WS Upload not throwing error in new ECC 6 System

system was recently upgraded to ecc 6.
programs with WS Upload are running fine without errors.
but in the description it is mentioned OBSOLETE . but the FM is active.

It is obselete since it is not unicode compatible. It may still work, but there is a chance that it will not, if you convert to unicode and/or are on multiple codepages. I would suggest to change any/all calls from WS_UPLOAD and WS_DOWNLOAD to GUI_UPLOAD and GUI_DOWNLOAD, or you can of course use the methods of the class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES. This could have been done before your upgrade since the function modules are there all the way back to 46c.

Not showing error in dual while using it as arithmetic expression

Hi,
I have a requirement to throw error if two consecutive numbers or two consecutive operators are given. For this I would like to use dual table.
It is throwing error if two numbers are given, but not throwing error if it has two operators.
Error thrown for -> select 2 4 - 7 from dual;
Error not thrown for -> select 2 + - 7 from dual;
or
select 2 - + 7 from dual;
I am expecting an error in later case too. Can we do any changes to the query to throw the error?

You can include other operator symbols, by including them in both of the lists enclosed in square brackets. The hyphen ('-') must be the very first character or the very last character in the list; aside from that, the order of the symbols makes no difference.

Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.

Flash Player error popup

Based on what logic Flash Player raises error popups? When do we get it and when do we not?

The same thing as the debugger version, but no popup is shown. No code that was supposed to run after the exception is run in that frame, and then the next frame or input or network event runs code again (which could throw other errors if they depended on code that was not run.

Oracle not starting up throwing error

My listener problem is solved but the DB dosent start up and throws this error, I also have a dump of the startup.log and the copy of init.ora file.

Application on Win7 64bit throws error -50103, but not on Win XP 32bit host

LabVIEW application newly installed on Win7 64bit host throws error -50103.
Same aplication deployed from same installation disk on Win XP 32bit host have been working for 2 years withourt problem.
I did have a problem with importing the MAX configuration from the Win XP 32bit machine to the Win 7 64bit machine.
My solution was to install all the drivers from my most recent Devaloper Suite 2012 DVD.
After that the executable did run fine, except when the variuos DAq tasks are executed for the second time in a loop it thows error -50103.
If i click ok on the erro popup, everything else works fine until in the next pass of the loop I get the same error.
Why would I get error on one host but not on the other one?
How do I fix this?

Has anyone been able to contact Adobe to learn why their Flash Player does not work on Mac OS 10.6.8, no matter how many updates you install? This seems like a big error by Adobe.

I have thee Mac computers with Mac OS 10.6.8, one of which is a Mac Pro. No matter how many updates I install from Adobe, their Flash Player does not work on any of these 3 computers. I don't know how to contact Adobe Systems about this problem, but I think it is their responsibility to make sure that their so-called "universal" software works proplerly on a relatively recent operating system like OS 10.6.8 that is still in widespread use. When you install the updates, nothing happens -- not even an error message. What is the point of a universal player that is not universal? It works fine on my MacBook Pro with OS 9 Mavericks, but it does not work at all -- indeed, has never worked -- on my 3 Macs with OS 10.6.8. Has anyone contacted Adobe Systems to find out why the Flash Player does not work with OS 10.6.8 and what they plan to do about it?

Where are you getting Flash from?
Get the appropriate dmg installer here and then run it.

If it still won't install, do these two things: First uninstall any Flash by going into the second level Hard Drive Library>Internet Plug-ins, and trash the Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt. Then boot into Safe Boot, Shift at the startup chime (give it much longer than a usual boot) and run the installer while booted in Safe Boot.

Error popup im not sure if its to do with firefox , a box appears with a looks like a film icon with several dots in the bottom

i have a persitant error popup whilst on my computer , it looks like a film icon and has several dots in the bottom of it , i have tried to investigate but come up with no solution , when i use firefox to clean my comp there is lots of mgbites for this error message , so i have taken google of and that seems to have stopped the error message in the ccleaner but it still keeps popping up , can anyone solve this for me

First, let me thank you again for your time and attention to my inquiry. I do wish Firefox and the Mozilla community well -- and I would agree that not nearly everyone who has downloaded version 4 has complained.
OTOH, I don't know what your multiplier is -- that is, how many downloaders on average actually having some kind of problem it takes for one of them/us to find it worth her/his time and trouble to input complaints this way. And thousands of messages does also still add up to quite a number of different problems. And my PC is old enough that it is perhaps more susceptible to problems and limitations.
So I have downloaded version 4 -- but I'm not planning to install it immediately . . . not until I have the time and patience accumulated to handle installation and its problems, whether they're teething problems or teasing problems or absolute lockdown/drag-out fights.
