Pr00 decimal values needs instead off rounding the value
In export sales Pr00 condition value is rounding off i need to be in decimal values
i have checked in Condition type V/06 rounding fields it is not effecting and also OB90 and OY04
example rounding off 26 USD, but at actual it should 25.58 exchange rate is 43 and qty is 100
can any body suggests where the setting ar required
Hi,
Please check the Rounding rule property of the condition type 'PR00'. It must have been set to Round up rather than Commercial.
Change the Rounding rule property to Commercial. I guess this will solve your purpose.

Rounding Off is not rounding the net value in Debit/Credit Memo
Dear Experts,
Please guide me in the below mentioned situation:
I have used "Rounding Off" i.e. DIFF condition type in the pricing procedure and it is giving the desired result. But when I am creating Credit/Debit Memo, the Rounding Off is taking that value which it has taken to round the total value in creating billing document. As a result in many cases, while creating Credit/Debit Memo the Rounding Off is not rounding the net value of the document.
Please guide me how to solve this problem.
With regards,
Jhelum Roy.Thank you sir for this information. this is really helpful.
Further
My requirement is to capture this rounding value also and show it in the print and carry to GL account. So that client can generate a report on this extra revenue by rounding values.
I ahve only condition type in my rpicing procedure as per my requirement. details maintained are below
condition typr: ZPPC
Mandatory: X
print : X
requirement : 2(Item with pricing)
cal type: 17 (Rounding as perT001R)
Acc Key: ERL
in the table T001R table the calue maintained for Co.Code is+currency is 5(so that system is alsays round up 5)
tha t means if the value is 26.03 then it will become 26.05. This is working fine. but how to capture this 0.02 seperatly and carry to gl accouns
Thanks you in advance

Issue in Decimal value round off
Hi All, I am facing an issue wherein Decimal value of 0.01 is getting converted to 0.00. Let me brief you about Source-target Types - Source - Flat FileTarget - DB2Powercenter Version - 9.6.1 HF2 Issue - Field in Source File is defined as Number(5,2).Corrosponding field from Db2 Target Table is defined as Decimal(5,2). Mapping is simple straight forward mapping with 1:1 loading from Source to target. Now, my Source File contain data as below - 0.010.020.0312.01 When I execute mapping, DB2 target Table gets loaded with all records.Value from corrosponding DB2 Target Table is - 0.000.020.0312.01 As you can see value of 0.01 is getting converted to 0.00 whereas all other values are working fine as expected. As a quick fix, I have applied to_decimal(source_field,2) before loading it to target. Could anyone please explain if this is an issue with Powercenter or there's some other issue. If I think it's a rounding issue then how come value of 0.02 is working fine? Please advise.
Hi All, I have one scenario to read the source file . The file delimiter is '|' . The no of pipeline for each line is 17. So if a line containing more than 17 , send an error email. For this first i am printing tota pipeline in ecah line to afile called pipelinecount.txt . Then i will read this file and send each value to while loop /for loop , where it will get > 17 , it will exit the process and send an email. But here in script i am getting error at while line. Could anyone help. #! /bin/kshset -x SOURCE_DIR=/vp01/SrcFilessed 's/[^|]//g' /vp01/SrcFiles/Test.txt | awk '{ print length }'> /vp01/SrcFiles/pipelinecount.txtcd $SOURCE_DIRwhile line in `cat pipelinecount.txt`; do if [ $line -eq 17 ];thenecho "No issue in pipeline"exit 0;fiif [ $line -gt 17 ];thenecho "No of pipelines exceeded the expected. Re: Issue in Decimal value round off in DB2
Hi All, It is happening only only when the decimal separator of source is ',' and behaving normally when decimal separator is '.'. Some how ..we casted the incoming field to TO_DECIMAL(IN_FIELD,2) ..in that case it is working fine. Regards,Srinivas

The only way I can get the camera to work is by turning the phone off at the top, then instead of 'sliding to open' I slide the camera picture up the screen. This opens the normal camera and I can take pictures. What have I altered, and how can I reset it so I can tap the icon?
Try force closing the Camera app, followed by resetting your phone. Double=tap the home button, locate Camera in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, tap the home button. Now reset your phone by holding the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

How can I create accurate decimal dimensions when creating a new document or using the art board in Illustrator CS6? When I type in a number with a decimal, it automatically rounds the number up.
For my part you are welcome, sdowers.
Unfortunately, the uncertainty arising from the rounding has been up several times here in this forum.
I just came to remember a warning that needs to be given:
The rounding of the representation of a numerical value may be harmless in itself, but if you use it for any operation that changes the value, such as multiplication or whatever, things will go wrong because the operation will be made on the basis of the rounded value instead of the true value. So, as in your first case in post #2, 39.625 rounded to 39.63 will become 79.26 instead of 79.25. -

Rounding a decimal value to 3 digits
I have opened a UDF and copied the value of Total (LC) column in that field. I want to round off the copied value to 2 digits.
Below is the query written to copy the value.
SELECT ($[$38.21.NUMBER] * $[$38.U_GST.1.11]) / 100
Below is the query written to ROUND the value.
SELECT ROUND(($[$38.21.NUMBER] * $[$38.U_GST.1.11]) / 100, 2)
Thanks & Regards,Try: SELECT ROUND(($[$38.21.NUMBER\] * $[$38.U_GST.NUMBER\]) / 100, 3)
However, I think it is probably not working because B1 has internal checking to make sure the decimal value follow your setting. If you setup your currency by 2 decimals, you may never get any additional decimal place.
Thanks,

Rounding the values in Query designer
In Query Designer, I am trying to store the rounded value of the below calculations to use in calculating a difference amount and %variance.
Currently:
Report shows actual % of 1.1 and budgeted % of 1.1, because we are rounding the actual value of 1.0798 to 1.1 and the budgeted value of 1.1326 to 1.1. The difference is calculated as budget u2013 actual or 1.1326 u2013 1.0798 = .0528 and the percent variance is 0.0528/1.1326 = 4.66%.
Requested:
The end user wants the rounded values of 1.1 used in calculating the differences and percent variance, so 1.1 u2013 1.1 = 0 difference and percent variance is 0/1.1 = 0%.
What function can I use to recall the rounded values to use in difference and percent variance calculations?
Thanks for any and all help!

Your suggestion:
If you want to round a key figure "KF" to have zero decimals:
( FRAC ( 'KF' ) < 0.5 ) * FLOOR ( 'KF' ) + ( FRAC ( 'KF') >= 0.5 ) * CEIL ('KF')
An equivalent MS Excel formula you can use to test is:
=IF(A3-TRUNC(A3)<0.5,FLOOR(A3,1),CEILING(A3,1))
If you want to round a key figure "KF" to have 2 decimals:
( FRAC ( 'KF'*100 ) < 0.5 ) * FLOOR ( 'KF' * 100 ) / 100 + ( FRAC ( 'KF'
100 ) >= 0.5 ) * CEIL ('KF' * 100) / 100
The equivalent MS Excel formula to test it is:
=IF(A5100-TRUNC(A5100)<0.5,FLOOR(A5100,1)/100,CEILING(A5100,1)/100
is exactly what I need, I am struggling to find the formula to round the key figure to 1 decimal in the query, any suggestions on how to modify the above formulas to return one decimal. I was able to successfully test in Excel but cannot get the correct formula in Query designer.
Thanks

BPEL round function with precision for a decimal value?
Dear All,
I need to do a rounding of a higher value to 3 precisioned one.
As per the round function available in Jdeveloper, I can only round a decimal to its respective integer value.
But my requirement is to retain the decimal value, but with a limited precision value...
How can I accomplish this.. Is there any extension of round function in BPEL to do this...?
Please update..
Many thanks...Use the function format-number(variable,precision_num)+.
Thanks,

Excel import rounding up decimal values
In my excel file I have a column that contains dollars and cents (e.g. 49.95). When I run the import the values in this column are rounded up to the next integer (e.g. 49.95 is rounded up to 50). Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
PeterHi All,
I have already migrated lakhs of records and I am facing the same problem for decimal value migration. Shall I know whether anyone has fixed this problem? Is there any other free tool for SQL Server to ORACLE migration? Please do guide me as soon as possible.

Any std funtion(s) for Zero-padded, 2 decimal value, without the deci point
Hi,
We want Zero-padded, two decimal value, without the decimal point. For example if it is 14.31, we need 001431.
I have done "multiply" with 100 and "formatNumber" as '000000'
SFIeld --> multiply * 100 --> formatNumber (000000) --> TField
It works good for values with decimal like above 14.31, does it work for everything else too? I mean for 12 it is populating as 001200. Is this best approach? Is there any other std funtions or UDF sample available?
