Hey ioannis,
So I would recommend starting from scratch on this one and seeing if we can get things to work.  I would recommend following these steps:
Make sure that you have access to port 80, which is what LabVIEW and the Web Server uses for communication.  This might mean turning off virus checkers or firewalls, as Altenbach suggested.
Restart your computer.  This is to make sure that there isn't anything already accessing this port that is conflicting.
Start LabVIEW once the computer is back up.
Open the VI that you would like to publish.  I might recommend using an Example just to test, but you could use your program.
Select Tools » Web Publishing Tool (WPT).
On the bottom of the WPT window, press the Start Web Server button.
Configure your VI as you would like.  You can probably just use the defaults for now.
Select Save to Disk and replace the file if necessary.
Hightlight the address that comes up in the Document URL window and press Ctrl+C to copy it.
Open Internet Explorer and past the URL into the address bar on the development computer.
These steps should be all that is necessary to use the WPT, so please follow them and let me know if they help or not.
Thanks!

    I am attempting to set up a guest network on the Airport Extreme Base Station. The Base Station is connected to a DSL Modem. The network is also extended using an Airport Express. When I have attempted to set up the Base Station using DHCP NAT in the netword feature I get a message that because the service has a private IP address the only way that I can connect is in Off Bridge Mode. In this mode I do not seem to be able to connect to the internet using the guest network. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Ok, your Speedport is actually a combination DSL modem and wireless router. In this case you would typically configure a downstream router, like your AirPort Extreme in Bridge mode. Unfortunately, when in Bridge mode, the AirPort does NOT support providing a guest network.
    The only possible option is to reconfigure the Speedport as a bridge and use the Extreme as your Internet router. You would still need the DSL modem provided by the Speedport for Internet connectivity.

    Hi Ken,
    Thanks for the reply. The project I am working on is a test project for a customer. They could potentially want a number of their educational subjects presented as an interactive text book. The intent of this first project with them is to establish a logical workflow that will allow us to efficiently estimate costs and allow for review throughout the design process. Having worked with customers on creative projects in the past I can anticipate that they will want a number of changes made once they see a working version of the interactive text book.
    It is a grim reality that no project can be fully edited and planned prior to working on it and I know revisions and changes are always made once the customer can see their product. It is ok with me if there is no easy way to pass the text back and forth from the customer and me without having to reformat everything but I just want to know that is the way it works in order to provide a realistic time estimate for the project.
    My hope was I would be able to export the formatted text, allow them to make edits and then reimport that formatted text. The style sheets I am using are from one of the iBooks Author templates.
    Do you know if there is a way to use (or export ) this style sheet so it can be used in a Pages Document?
    Or, would the best option be to have the customer install iBooks Author? This would require the customer to have a mac and the software so it doesn't work for all cases.
    Another idea I was considering would be to export the book as a PDF and have the customer add markup and notes to the PDF.
    All of these options do not seem too great to me.
    I am open to any ideas.
    Thanks,
    Rob

    We have also experienced similar issue with 11.2.0.2 on HPUX:

    PRKC-1023 : Invalid IP address format: host2-vip
    Replacing host2-vip with IP address works fine.
    More surprisingly, on one node, it accepts same command with vip format, whereas on others it is expecting IP address in command. ( although vip names are resolvable to its IP address from all nodes--checked using nslookup)

  • Invalid MAC Address Format Error

    I have a WRT54GR with a 54USB Wireless Adaptor...and I am trying to put my PC MAC Address in the Allow Table so that this is the only MAC Address that can access my network...it is recognising my 54USB Adaptor MAC Address in the Table, so I select this, and add it to the table to allow access, and it comes up with Invalid MAC Address Format....
    Anybody know why this is happening...I have tried adding it automatically and typing it in manually still the same.  I use ':' between the numbers/characters not '-'.
    Any help greatly appreciated....

  • Getting the certificate has an invalid signature error on one of my company's intranet sites.

    Immediately after upgrading to FF35, I've lost the ability to access key parts of our intranet. I understand from other related forum questions that FF reps don't believe that typical users will encounter the problem of needing to access self-signed certificates over https. Here to tell you we do. The same issue keeps being posted on your forums regarding upgrades from FF31 onward (which at least allowed some user override). It looks like rather a lot of users have intranets that behave in the same way and would like to be able to use FF to access their own intranet sites. My company is highly unlikely to institute a massive security overhaul just to satisfy FF's sensitivities over the importance of this issue, especially when they have many other layers to protect themselves, so it's back to Chrome for me I guess.
    Way to go.

    ''philipp [[#answer-677759|said]]''
    <blockquote>
    there will be some fixes regarding this error code in firefox 36, but without access to the site in question it will be difficult to assess the problem and to know if those would apply in your case. therefore it would be best to report the issue to the it department of your company since they have more possibilities to investigate...
    </blockquote>
    This won't happen. Our IT department is not going to spend time and money instituting changes because a new FF update blocks their intranet certification. I'll just be told to use Chrome or IE, which is what I'll do next. Might check back when update 36 is out.

  • Invalid IP Address During Uploads

    Hello, I have a new Airport Extreme Base Station with the latest firmware. 95% of the time everything works great, I have a few phones and my iMac connected to the wifi network.
    I seem to be running into problems whenever I upload files. It doesn't seem to matter which website it is. It happens when uploading a photo to Craigslist, Facebook, or my Amazon Cloud Drive.
    Once I submit the upload the router goes from green to blinking yellow and the Airport Utility pops up and says that the router has an Invalid IP address.
    Unplugging the base station and plugging it back in brings the light to green but I still cannot upload anything.
    Any suggestions?

    I don't have a guaranteed solution, but you might learn something from (a) the log file of the AirPort Extreme or (b) messages in the Console utility.  To see the first, launch AirPort Utility, put the Extreme into "manual setup" mode, pull down the "Base Station" menu and select "Logs and Statistics", then select the "Logs" tab.  To see console messages, launch the Console utility and select "All Messages" from the column on the left.
    In either case, if you see messages that might explain the problem but you don't know how to interpret them, post them in a reply to this thread and someone may be able to help decode them.

  • Cannot catch invalid email addresses

    Hi,
    I have been using this very normal email sending routine but for some reason even if the email address is invalid (ex abc), the Transport.send() method does not throw any exception and continues.
    Does anyone know why this should happen??
    The code is given below
         for (int i = 0; i < p.length; i++){
    uEmail = p.getUserEmail();
    System.out.println("Sending Email to :" + uEmail);
         emailContent = emailString;
    /***************** SENDING THE EMAILS *************************/
    try {
              Properties props = System.getProperties();
    //System.out.println("Using mail server"+mailserveraddress);
              props.put("mail.smtp.host",mailserveraddress);
              Session session = Session.getDefaultInstance(props, null);
    Message message = new MimeMessage(session);
    message.setFrom(new InternetAddress("[email protected]"));
    message.addRecipient(Message.RecipientType.TO, new InternetAddress(uEmail));
    message.setSubject("Homeland Headlines " + dateString);
    BodyPart messageBodyPart = new MimeBodyPart();
    messageBodyPart.setText(emailContent);
    Multipart multipart = new MimeMultipart();
    multipart.addBodyPart(messageBodyPart);
    //System.out.println("Setting the content");
    message.setContent(multipart);
              //System.out.println("NO exception till here");
    // Send the message
    Transport.send(message);
              System.out.println("Email Sent successfully");
    catch(SendFailedException me) {
              System.out.println("Email not sent to :" + uEmail);
              System.out.println("The exception is" +me.toString());
              invalidemails.add(uEmail);
              catch(MessagingException mesex){
              System.out.println("The exception is:"+mesex.toString());
              sentemailflag="false";
              catch(Exception e){
                   System.out.println("Unexpected error is:"+ e.toString());
                   sentemailflag="false";
    The control never reaches any of the exception blocks even though p has some invalid email addresses.
    It prints:
    Sending email to: abc
    Email sent successfully
    Thanks,
    Chetan

    Hi,
    I believe I have answered this question quite a few times in this forum.
    There is no standard way to know if the e-mail id exists or not, SMTP standards does not mandate the server implementors to notify this.
    There are several things that can happen:
    a. The server implements the VRFY command -- Then you know immediately if the account is active.
    b. The server does not implement the VRFY command, but if the acount does not exist tells you when you send the RCPT command.
    c. The server does not tell you till you say QUIT.
    d. The server accepts the mail silently and sends a mail later saying that the mailbox does not exist.
    Since there is no sure-shot way of determining this no exception is thrown.
    (Also check out the RFC for a typical SMTP session if the commands confuse you.)
    cheers

  • ICloud invalid email address

    I have the new iPhone 6 that has a invalid email address in iCloud. I can't delete the account no matter what I do.  I have a proper Apple ID account, but its not in the iCloud. Do I have to take it back to the store and have them wipe it out?

    If you still have access to your old email address, do the following:
    Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the pimary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You should then be able to turn off Find My iPhone with your password. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back and change your primary email address and iCloud ID back to the way it was.  You will then be able to go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current ID and password to reconnect to your iCloud account.
    If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to get them to reset the password for it so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account.  You will have to prove your identity to them in order to do so.  You can either contact iTunes support for assistance with this (https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html), or contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

  • Airport Extreme invalid IP address, no DNS server

    Hardware: Motorola SURFboard SB6141, Airport Extreme A1408
    I recently set up a new internet service with Cox, plugged in the SB6141 and A1408 and everything set up perfectly, solid green light and wireless was flawless. However, electricity to my house had to be reset, and when the power came back on the green light on the Airport Extreme started to flashing amber. I did several hard/factory resets of the Airport Extreme as well as unplugging the modem and leaving everything unplugged for several minutes and then plugging everything back in. No matter what combination of things I try to do, the Airport Utility always tells me the same 2 errors: invalid IP address and no DNS server. Why was the Airport Extreme able to automatically set up the first time, but not now? Any ideas of what I can do? Thanks!

    I have also looked through other threads about this same problem, but none of the solutions (e.g. posts by Tesserax, followed to the letter) so far have worked.
    Here are other things I have tried:
    1. Called Cox to have them reset my modem, internet works through Ethernet directly from the modem
    2. Downgraded AEBS firmware to 7.6.1 (oddly enough, now I cannot for the life of me update the firmware back to 7.6.4, always says cannot connect to update server)
    I ran through the various solutions from this thread: "No DNS servers" and "Internet connection" problems with Comcast?
    Still getting that pesky blinking amber light.

    PK,
    One issue that we ran into and saw similar error messages was when a whole unpartitioned device was presented to CRS to be used as the OCR and the
    Voting Disk ( i.e., /dev/sdb , /dev/sdc instead of a partition like /dev/sdb1 , /dev/sdc1 } .
    It appears that CRS calls a utility to format the disks which does not like the whole unpartitioned devices . Guess this is fixed in the 11g release.
    We ran into this issue when running root.sh , so I am not exactly sure the circumstances under which you are facing these errors. If this is a fresh install and the devices have not been partitioned , then it might be worth trying to partition them and presenting them to CRS.
    You might have to cleanup the existing install if you decide to pursue the above option . Note:239998.1 on Metalink might help you with the cleanup steps.

    When trying to update my Mail Account Mailbox Behaviours settings, after making the changes when I try to close the settings pane the following messages occur: Invalid Incoming Mail Server The “Incoming Mail Server” field cannot be empty. The incoming mail server box has in light grey colour: p02-imap.mail.me.com in it and I cannot edit its content. Any ideas what is going on and how to fix it?

    Hi all,
    Mattreichenbach is probably on the right track here with a reset of settings.  I think I've determined the issue has to do with cached account information and inconsistencies for the account name.  This seems to crop up when I've changed my password and it hasn't propagated fully to all the servers, devices, certificates, etc.
    Hopefully many here are on their way to restoration of service by now but it's clear that a lot of people are having the same issues.  Very frustrating and definitely something Apple needs to resolve:  incoming mail server field grayed out, incorrect autopopulation of different fields, other unanticipated behaviors.  If you're still having issues, though, here's what worked for me...
    First, head to the iCloud preferences pane in System Configuration and choose "Sign Out".  When I did this it prompted me with a number of "are you sure" type questions about retaining information on my local machine.  I chose to delete/remove the info each time simply because it should all be restored by the cloud and I didn't want to risk a massive duplication of my data... I will say, I'm back up and running with no issues so I suspect you can make the same delete/remove choices...  But use your own judgment.  I don't want you to lose any data (ie.. please use care as you do this because I cannot bear the thought of causing anyone to experience the pain of data loss).
    Once you've signed out of iCloud, restart your system.  When you get back in, head to the Mail, Contacts and Calendars section of your System Preferences and add your account back by choosing the brushed aluminum "iCloud" button.  When it asks for your account name, use your @iCloud.com email address.  I am all but certain my issue had started because one of my devices (iPhone or whatever) had been set up with an email alias specified instead of my @iCloud.com address.
    Apple, if you're reading through any of these issues (there are TONS of users having this same problem).  Take note, that your icloud service somewhat frequently is not responding and yet tells the user that the password is wrong and this prompts people to be changing their passwords unnecessarily.  This has happened to me on numerous occasions.  Also, I noticed that last week's outage corresponded to a VERY similar outage exactly one year ago to the day.  Sounds like planned maintenance to me and I think you could do a better job notifying folks so we're not wasting HUGE amounts of time troubleshooting a problem that we have no hope of fixing.
    Hope that helps some of you!

    Hi All,
    For anyone who this happens to, what ended up fixing it was uninstalling and reinstalling excel.  I was using excel 2010, so I did this
    Go to add/remove programs
    Highlight Microsoft Office Professional 2010
    Click Change
    ensure Add remove features is selected and click continue
    click on the little arrow beside excel and click on Not Available, click continue
    After it is done, excel will be uninstalled.
    When this is done, you can do the same process again, but this time chose the other appropriate selection
    instead of not available.  I chose Run All from My Computer.
