Pre-ordered an album on the wrong account, single already purchased.
My sister and I were using the same Apple ID and I had recently pre-ordered an album. Today I decided to seperate our accounts and cancelled the pre-order however the single from the album was already purchased and downloaded. Is it possible not to be charged twice for the same song when I pre-order the album on my new account?
No, sorry viamorone. Purchases are tied directly to the Apple ID they are purchased under.

I preo ordered the album "Lost Isles" by Oceans Ate Alaska and the first early realease song, "Floorboards" Was instantly downloaded into my music library. However, today, a new song was released early called "Blood Brothers". It hasn't been downloaded into my music library and will let me purchase it for 99p. The album also says next to it "Complete Pre Order" but if I click that it just says "Album already purchased". Please tell me how to get the album without having to individually buy each track when they are released, costing me at least another £7. :/

The Pre-Ordered Album has arrived in my iPhone 'Downloads' but will not download/install. I just now tapped Store in Settings on the iPhone in question set it to auto download music, apps and books which as it happens was turned off. Ok.
So how do I get the pre-orederd download/installed? And are Pre-orders paid for when you order them or when you receive them?

It isn't showing in 'Purchases' either and I can not confirm from receipts if it was paid for when ordered becauseI threw the first few Apps and iTunes electronic receipts in the trash. I had the exact same issue this week for a Pre-order album as well. I would recommend canceling the Pre-order and download it again as you mentioned it has not been charged. This article will walk you though the process.

Do I get the single when I pre-order an album?
I've pre-ordered Random Access Memories by Daft Punk, but I notice that the single isn't available for download from the album. Every other time I've pre-ordered an album off iTunes it's given me the single to download first. This isn't an option it seems, I can only get Get Lucky from the single version, and I'm not wild about paying for it twice. Anyone know why it's like this or will it become available soon? Thanks!
If a track is released from the EP before the actual EP is released then you will be charged the tracks's full price i.e. 1.29 - when the actual EP is released you will be charged 2.70 (3.99 minus the 1.29). If 2 tracks are released before the EP you will be charged 1.29 for each of the two tracks, then 1.41 for the EP

I pre ordered an album, then i got a new card, and the album isn't loading.
I Pre ordered An Album, then i closed the account i used, and got a new one, and entered the new information, yet the songs still won't download. What can i do?
Contact iTunes support - it's possible your purchase didn't go through before you canceled your card or there may be some other issue.

I pre ordered a album and got songs then it came out so itunes sent me a confirmation and it said to go to available downloads and gave link so I did and it did nothing for me and when I went to the album I wanted it said it was purchased so how do I get my music and don't even see available downloads in the iTunes Store

Not sure what is going on here. I pre-ordered an album. One of the songs was available for instant download so I have that in my library now. I received an email saying that the rest of the album is available for download. When I go into my purchased songs as instructed, it only shows 2 other songs from that album. Not sure what I need to do.

If you've enabled iTunes to automatically download prepurchased content, then your pre-order content may already be downloaded to your library. If not, simply click the download link provided within your email notification, and your pre-order content will begin to download. Alternatively you can use the "Check for Available Downloads" feature in iTunes on your computer by choosing Store > Check for Available Downloadsto begin downloading your pre-order.

When you pre-order an item, you may not be able to download it at the exact moment it becomes available for regular purchase. You’ll receive an email the same day it becomes available to let you know when you can download the item.
Some albums or collections you can pre-order include a song that’s available to download immediately. When you pre-order these items, the available song is downloaded and you’re charged only for that song. When you download the rest of the album (after you’re notified it’s available), you’re charged for the rest.

This annoyed the **** out of me for the last couple of days too! Simple solution:
Go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings
This will put your track info back in the right order. However, it will reset your WiFi details too, so make sure to have them to hand. -
I pre-ordered an album and it says it was purchased in my itunes but it hasn't downloaded yet and I never got an email giving me a link to download it. Is there a way to get the link resent in an email?

Check in your iTunes folder on your computer to find the files. If they are there, then drag on top of iTunes to import them in. If they are not there, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I cannot find a store menu when I am on the "Store" screen on my mobile device. I pre-ordered an album and this menu is not anywhere. Is there even a menu on the mobile version? If so, where do I find it?

I pre-ordered an album and i did not get it! i payed 14 some dollars for it and never received it i checked to see if i bought it and it said i did. i looked to see if i could re download the album but i dont know how please help!
If you are in a country where music can be redownloaded then it should show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone, and the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If it doesn't show there then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes find it ?

Hi. I pre ordered an album from iTunes using my iPhone 4S. Once released I received an email with a download link. I followed the link from the email which took me to iTunes Store. There I found the album & all tracks shown as purchased but with no apparent way of downloading. When I check for items to download, it isn't there. When I check purchased items purchased, it isn't there either. It only appears when I tap the album cover from the front page & then only as purchased.

Check your Music app to see if it already downloaded. You can also check iTunes on your computer to Check for a available downloads. If you are still not able to get it, then report the issue to iTunes.
