Pre-printed defective or excess tags in SAP

What is the process of creating defective or excess tag where printing cannot be done in the a location?

Hello Tom,
You can print the Tags / Labels based on the transfer order, When you receive the material from another location at that time you will create Transfer Order in Warehouse to putaway material. So you need to configure the system in OMLV transaction code and it will trigger the labels automatically when you do Transfer order.
I think you can follow the steps:
1. Check out what informations are required on the Tag / Label i.e. Material number, Qty, Sr number (if using), Storage Unit number, Receiving information (PO/Del number), Destination storage bin etc.
2. Get this information from LTAP / LTAK table and other relevent tabels (i.e.  EKKO, EKPO, LIPS)
3. Design the SAP Script / Form with the help of Developer
4. Assign the Printing program to warehouse in OMLV transaction code.
5. Assign printer on which this label should trigger when you do TO.
6. Assign form to the mvt type/storage type in OMLV transaction code.

  • Pre Printed Invoice

    Hello,
We are currently in the analysis phase to the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 Ehp3 for a society in Ecuador, and I know that this situation happens in Venezuela too. The laws require that the invoices and delivery notes must be pre-printed by a printer approved by the Internal Revenue Service, giving them the document number for each one.
How can we do, with the invoice number, when the items have sold cover more than one sheet?
Can we use the following pre-numbered invoice to continue printing?
What is the reference number of the invoice, the first number or the second one?
    Thanks in advance,
    Johnattan Company

    Hi
I understand all paper sheets are provided by an Authority andonly these can be used with the approved printers.
I am confused about one thing:
    - I can imagine how much every single company is wasting of paper, what about these sheets that are wasted because of paper jams in the printer for example? Do you report on these?
As for the problem printing, every 15 items coming on 1 sheet, in my opinion you don't have to make 4 sales orders, neither you need to split the order into smaller deliveries 15 items max. What I suggest is just redesign the output proces of the delivery ( same for billing ) is that you
    1. number your pages as 1 of 4, 2 of 4, ...
    2. repeat the header details of your document on each sheet like: Date, document number, customer, ...
    3. the items number will continue as normal on each sheet
I think (my opinion) this way, whatever the paper sheet number is, it always links back to the document stored in SAP.
    regards
    Sidi

  • Pre-printed forms on IBM 5577 dot printer

    Dear all,
I was wondering if there is any SAP tool in order to use pre-printed forms (with specific layout) on IBM 5577 dot printer which would allow to speciy a pre-defined layout.
Or do I have to define for each field the position on the pre-printed form thanks to SAPscript editor?
    Regards.

    HI Cany,
There is no such tool to identify the problem .In scripts and smartforms we have to define the layout pertaining to printer and its configuration settings.once the layout is defined and the printer is defined during the printing the printing begins automatically.in ur case u r talking about pre printed forms like application forms like cases, for this we have to know the length of the form initially and take care to identify the length of the field and also position.Hope u understand this.

    Hi
When using a Dot Matrix printer you should follow the steps from the SAP Note 724904 that helps you with the paper size.
The Dot Matrix printer you are using is not supported so you may getting it working now, but may stop working in future patches or version as the application is not ready to work with this printer.
    Those are the support printers

  • Print layout in case of pre printed continous stationery

    Dear Experts,
I have one query related to print layout designing. The issue is the PLD is set for an Invoice in the pre printed stationery & the printer out is take using continuous stationery the problem which i have faced is 1 page is printed properly but for 2nd page the print again starts from top so again the user have to do manual setting & print the 2nd page.
    Thanks & Regards-
    Manmath Das.

    Dear Manmath Das,
It is too difficult to handle the print on pre printed continuous stationery by PLD. PLD is a very basic tool. You may only get it work by endless try and error to see.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

    Hi,
Basically Crystal report run with SQL statement, I would suggest to do well performance tuning on SQL query / Store Procedure.
Structure your query in DBA manner that will make some how faster such as use ( inner join, less condition,...)..
also if it simple query then use Command in Crystal report rather store Procedure..that make some how Faster your report.
    Thanks

  • Printing on Pre-printed stationary from XML Publisher

    Hi,
I have a requirement where a report is to be printed on pre-printed stationary from XML Publisher. The stationary would be NCR paper and has to be printed from a dot matrix printer.
My first question is whether report generated from XMLP can be printed thro'
dot matrix printer, coz as far as i know it takes only character format .If yes, do we need any special handling?
If anybody has any experience related to this problem, please let me know the approach.
Can mail me at [email protected]
    Regards,
    Satrajit

    Hi Milind
    I see what you've got.
It is not uncommon to use character mode output for pre-printed stationery.
This would appear as draft output from a Dot Matrix printer. I hope you understand what I mean here. It is somthing like printing using fixed width font.
Design and run the report with MODE=CHARACTER from the command line.
You need to figure out and design the layout in such a way that you are printing in the empty spaces provided in the pre-printed stationery. This is usually by trial and error method. You may probably blow several pre-printed stationery sheets before you get it right.

  • How do I create a form field ONLY template in Acrobat 9 Pro that will let the user enter and print only the form field data on a pre-printed form?

This template will be used to type in information that will then be printed on an agency's official, barcoded form loaded in a printer (instead of blank paper.)  Only the user-entered info should print on the pre-printed form.  Users will use Adobe Reader to complete their templates; they do not have Acrobat.  Thank you!

Use the template as non-printable background and add the form fields.

  • Print data at new line in SAP Scripts

    Hi,
Is there any way that i can print data at new line in sap scripts. I am looping my data and its printing in the same line but i need to print it at new line. Is there any formating options or any command to do that.
    Thanks

Than you must take all the values from the internal table into the different variables and than print them.
    In program:
READ TABLE ITAB INTO WA_TAB INDEX 1.
    IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
      VAR1 = WA_TAB-FIELD1.
    ENDIF.
    * read all the lines and fill the VAR variables
    In SAPScript:
    /E LINE_VAR
    /P &VAR1&
    /P &VAR2&
    /P &VAR3&
    /P &VAR4&

  • How to print multiple form for tag printing in smartforms

    Dear Experts,
I am working on tag printing in smartforms .in tag printing i am showing
    1.material no.
    2.material descrption.
    3.material doc no.
    4.Quantity
    5.supplier.
my requirement is that for example , if the mat. document no.  has a material of 10,000.00 quantity , in tag printing it should come 1,000.00 of each tag  and total no of tag should be 10. and it should come one after another .
and the page format size 8 x 6 cm. is it possible .if possible how ! how the system will know how many tag is to be printed . please reply its urgent.

    Hi Kumar,
Let me know. is the quantity 1000.00 is fixed? if so thn you can achieve the requirement.
    For example:
There are  A-material with 20000.00 quantity thn  u can first divide the quantity with 1000.00
                 v_ex = 20000.00/1000.00=20.
thn  you can repeat the  print of the smartform for 20 times by passing  the parameter to  form fm.
    Please reward if  useful.

  • Printing a PDF file over pre-printed template

I would like to be able to print a PDF file (file A) over the top of another PDF file (file B ). For example, file A could be a letter that needs to be sent out and file B could be the company letterhead. The resulting file would be the letter on company letterhead.
I need to be able to do this because I am printing from an application that allows limited customization of the output format. Having the ability to print one file over another would enable me to create a "pre-printed template" in an application that has more flexibility. I could then add the data from the first application over the top of the "pre-printed template."
I am using Acrobat Professional 7.0.9 on a Windows XP Professional system. If necessary I can upgrade to a more recent version of Acrobat.
    Thanks for your help

I would like to do this all electronically. I don't produce a hard copy at any time but rather create the PDF and then email the file to the recipient.

  • Excess stock in SAP.

    Hi ,
For operational purpose ,we are maintaining excess stock process, below is the formula for the same,
Opening stock- (Backlog order +current month order (n)+N+1 order .
Can we get this type of report from SAP ?
    Regards,
      Vijesh

    Vijesh,
As the other experts have stated, I don't believe that there is any standard report that exactly meets your requirements.
However, many planners instead use MRP results to help them understand where (among other things) they will have future excess stock.
SAP's standard report MD06 can be used to select, view, and address specific MRP Exception Messages.  One Exception message is "20 - Cancel process" (means cancel an existing supply order) and "15 - Postpone Process" (means move one of your existing supply orders farther into the future).  These two messages typically are related to excess stock.  If you review and address these exception messages, you may not need an 'excess stock report'.
