Have you failed to regularly backup the device to iTunes or iCloud? If so, the data is gone.

Hi there! today i wanted to buy some gems so i charged my acc with 10 dolars and try out to buy gems. problem is i m getting "your purchase could not be completed" error...
I have tried all possible solutions i found on internet...my restrinctions are disabled...tried reinstaling, relogging, restarting phone.. nothing seems to help...
normally i would contact custommer support but i m using US account and i m not from US. anyway my US account is charged with money and it workes perfectly for all my other friends using this method ( we got some free US vouchers so we needed US accounts)

I recently did the iOS 7.0.2 update, now I'm unable to purchase apps. "App could not be purchased at this time. Please try again later. ". I have tried a few of the suggestions and nothing has worked. Reset,change auto lock time on main screen, change language setting. Now what???
This sorted it for me:
Backup your iPhone to iCloud (I believe backing up to iTunes will work too). Now go to "Settings --> General --> Reset --> Erase All Content and Settings" to completely restore your iPhone to factory settings. Assuming you've backed up to iCloud, you'll be asked when setting up your iPhone if you want to restore from an iCloud backup. Choose that option and once your iPhone has restored itself from your backup, this annoying problem will finally be gone! (was for me anyway).
To restore from an iTunes backup, connect your iPhone to your computer, load iTunes. Click the File menu and select Devices > Restore from Back up. -
My 6 month old Mac is using iPhoto. Please advise when I copy the photo from iPhoto to add to a word document while creating a pictorial artical as soon as it is pasted the picture it turns black, I have tried many different methods to over come the issue but unsuccessful. In the past the iPhoo was default for direct download from a card, This I have now changed but in the meantime there are photographs that I need to use. I understand window completly but still on the nursery steps with Mac.

All storage hardware and all computers will fail. Volumes will get corrupted. Mistakes will happen.
Please learn from our past mistakes and from our past data losses: please have and keep regular backups.
Either via Time Machine (which is marvelously transparent, and very easy), or backups created via some other mechanisms and tools. Old Toad recommends an external disk, and that's very effective. If this is a portable Mac, then Time Capsule devices are also very handy, as you don't have to remember to connect the backup device; so long as the Mac is within wireless range of the Time Capsule, backups will happen.
Time Machine backups can also be used to replace your files or even to upgrade to a new Mac, should your computer be lost or stolen, or should your computer or your storage fail.
If you have not already seen these, Mac Basics and Find Out How could be interesting.
As for your photos... I wouldn't expect this to be iPhoto and wouldn't go for an iPhoto reinstall as the first step, I'd tend to wonder if this is a bug or feature in Microsoft Word, or possibly a format incompatibility with what Office supports. iPhoto organizes and edits the photos that are stored in your ~/Pictures media directory. Try using iWork (if you have that) or some other tool (Apple Mail) that accepts and processes photos, and see if you can localize the problem. Depending on the image formats used, also see if exporting the picture from iWork into a jpeg-format picture — something other than the image format you're currently using with the Microsoft Office imports — works. (FWIW, I use iWork for reading and writing Microsoft Office documents as well as Pages and Keynote files, and have been using iPhoto with those and other tools for many years, and haven't encountered these blacked-out images.) -
Internet problems! MacBook. I have tried every tip I've found online so far. please help
Internet works fine on all other devices. It does NOT work properly on my MacBook. I get good speed tests (ping:8ms Download Speed: 23.31 Upload speed: 4.95) and streaming video is fast, but browsing is incredibly slow. When sites eventually load they are faulty and pictures are broken. that's if the the site loads at all. I get all kinds of different results. page not availible ect.
I brought my MacBook to school and then everything worked fine. I can't figure out if it is my network or my MacBook that is the problem.
I have tried:
- using different browsers
- using multiple different DNS adresses
- Changing location
- Renewing DHCP
- Flushcache in terminal
- deleting all knowt networks
- restarting the computer
- changing MTU from 1500 to 1453
- turning off IPv6
altso when I run network diagnostic, IPS, intenet and server shows red, but I'm still conected and streaming videos and stuff. and when I run software update it takes forever and ends up telling me I am not connected to the internet.
Don't assume I know what I'm doing. All the things I've tried comes from tips online. I am an comlpete idiot when it comes to computers and especially internet stuff..

Drag this to the desktop (which will create a backup) Do not trash
Try loging out, shut down. Then login and try retrying, if no joy you can drag that file back to it's original location (it will ask if you want to replace. click yes)
Then we can try a couple of other things, this is not an uncommom issue, and does not seem to have a definitive solution that I have yet to to see.
I have however had some sucess by doing a comlpete a reset on the 10.6.8 machine in networkwork utililities (applications/utilities/Networkutility .app and running thru the prompts. -

Unable to load nib file : MainMenu, exiting.
On this particular computer, this is the first time I have
tried to get iCal to work. I have read lots of your helpful posts
about tricks to try.
1. I have reloaded the application with Pacifist from the 10.4.11 combo
updater. I have no plist preferences and no calendar files because the
application won't run. I also tried applying the whole updater again.
2. I tried loading an earlier version (1.5.1) from a 10.4.xx CD - and this
also did not run. I tried updating this version, and it did not run.
This gave other errors, like a window was having problems opening.
3. Switching to another user did not fix the problem.
4. There are other computers at my installation that are running 10.4.11
and have iCal working.
5. After reading through the posts, this app. doesn't seem very stable? I
was hoping to switch from a Palm to an Iphone but I can't spend this much
time just getting iCal to work - I know there will be Sync issues also, as
this also doesn't seem to work.
6. Any help would be appreciated - as this is a fresh start for iCal, I
have no concerns about archiving files, etc. I can go back to an earlier
version, as I have all of the combo updaters and an a CD for 10.4.xx where
I think xx is about 7.

I have just today recieved a brand new iPod Touch 4th generation iPod with the latest update. Everything else on the ipod is working and my computer is able to read the camera fine, but iTunes cannot recognise it - even after restarting and trying different USB ports and cables. There is nothing at all coming up on the device list and iTunes is working as it would if I had no iPod plugged in. This is my first iPod on this computer and I have already tried redownloading iTunes. My computer is a windows XP computer. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem?
Since this is an XP machine, which version of iTunes do you have installed? Is it the latest version?
Have you tried starting iTunes, attach the USB end of the cable, then while holding the home button on the iPod connect the 30-pin connector end of the cable to the iPod...that is the recovery mode but also should make iTunes see the iPod.
If that doesn't work you may need to take the iPod back and have it tested by the genius bar techs to make sure the connector is not bad. -
One day the phone just got stuck on ios6 screen then once unlocked it said plug into iTunes. Once I did the phone will not allow me to complete a restore. At the last stages the phone will cut off. I have asked a friend to have a look and he thinks it is stuck in recovery mode loop? I don't know what else to do. The phone is not under warranty and I bought it second hand before Christmas. Please give me any help or advice.
Sounds like a hardware failure. Make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store. There is no magic that can fix a hardware failure.

What error do you see when you connect it? This support document provides instructions on how to recover an iDevice that has been disabled because of a forgotten passcode. I need help uninstalling CS6 - have tried all the usual with no joy
I need to uninstall Cs6 for a reinstall as it is misbehaving.
But when I try to uninstall the message keeps appearing that Uninstall FAiled and to use the cleanr - done it, quit all programmes - none running, not even virus software etc, restart - done it numerous times

Mac OS X 10.8.5install over your current installation to reinstall your uninstaller.
you can then uninstall, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and do a proper installation. -

It isn't the installation of the Adobe Download Assistant which can cause this problem it is where you select to download the install files too. The Adobe Download Assistant would be installed to your Program Files/Applications folder and install files would be downloaded to your user folder, by default, or your desktop.
Alternately you can intitate a direct download by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369. -
i completed a software update yesterday and whenever I try and launch iTunes now it crashes almost immediately. I have tried downloading an installing the latest version but to no avail - any ideas?
Have you tried temporarily turning off your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed ?

The same story. No 3G after updating to 6.1. Told my daughter temporarily not to do an update on her iPad with 6.01. We've exchanged SIMs. I inserted her SIM in my iPad - 3G appeared immediately. And my SIM in her iPad with ios 6.01 also WORKS FINE. We use the same provider - Megafon Moscow. After attempting to revert SIMs to original configuration, 3G disappeared on my iPad again. Don't know what's going on with SIM during the update to 6.1
