Present Your Passion

A couple of years ago Apple ran a competition to "Present Your Passion" using Keynote. The competition website has since been removed from Apple.com, but I'd love to see some of the winning entries for a bit of inspiration!
Does anybody still have a copy of/link to any of the winning presentation quicktime movies? Perhaps some of the winners still frequent these boards?
Thanks! Rich

heya, did some searching and found this link:

half way down the page it appears as though the winner and runner up are listed - havent downloaded the files yet so dont know the validity.

  • Present your case mods!

Well, seems like there's no thread like this yet, so here we go:
Present any modifications you made to your machines, be it eye candy, extra features...
Here's mine. Base is a Casetek 1018 (same as used by Thermaltake in their Xaser III). Resprayed, big plexi window + small window on top, punched sheet covers for the drive racks and an engraving illuminated by two leds.
    Clicky pictures:
I also uncoupled the HD rack, and I made up a quite effective way of doing that using rubber bedded screws to attach it to the wall of the case:
And here's my "archified" lap top again :
So, are there any other case modders out there in the arch community? I sure hope so ^^

I really can't do that great of one, it's in a box to be sold ATM, but I can give the basics.
    1) Get a box, any box that you want, as long as it is the right size for what you want (ATX, mATX microATX, etc). Three sides is the best.
    2) Get some alimimum. Performance-pcs.com sells them in 500x500mm sheets. For the bottom sheet, cut it out to the size of the bottom that you want. In mine, I only kept it to the straight sides, didn't bother to fill the whole bottom.
    3) Place the motherboard where it is going to go. This part takes planning as you have to see where it will fit in respect to the back plate, might be best to make that first (step 4). Where the motherboard holes are, mark and drill them out. Make sure you leave room for feet. Make four L brackets and mount them to the two sides of the case and the bottom of the tray.
    4) Back plate, it's really easy. Now that you have the bottom, measure how wide you need the back to be and add ~2". Then bend the sides each in one inch, that way you can use those sides to mount the back. You might want to make a flap on the top too.
    4) Back plate cuts. The motherboard cut is easy, take the backplate and trace around it and cut. Place in the plate and your motherboard IO should fit through it just fine. Do the same of any expansion slots. Now find where you want the power supply to go. Make sure it will fit, then with careful measurement, cut out the main hole and four mounting holes. But her in.
    5) Top. I used mesh for two reasons. One, vents. Two, I could mount some SSD hanging from it. Now that everything is test fited, cut the top. It should be a simple cut for the exact shape of the top. You'll need four L brackets again. Mount it just like you did the bottom.
    6) Everything fit? Cut a hole for the power switch, paint, do touch up, and get her going.
Remember that building your own is 90% planing, 10% work. I spent probably two days over sheets of diagrams and measurements before I made a single cut.
EDIT - I'm putting things to consider.
    1) Heat. Will you need a fan in the back?
    2) Size. Will it all fit? Remember that when the PSU is mounted and plugged in, so is the back plate meaning you only have access through the top.
    3) Tools. You'll need a dremel at best. A jigsaw it good too. A file is a must.
The back plate and motherboard positioning take the longest, don't rush them.

  • I want to Present MY Passion......

I have worked as a pro photographer and designer for 30 years. Also been an enthusiastic participant in amateur photography. I used to produce AV presentations, 2x Carousels and hi-fi stereo music. Great sound and quality. I would really like to do the same now, but with the advantages of digital non-linear programming. Keynote seems ideal, but I cannot programme the dissolves to a continuous soundtrack. I can export it as a QT movie, and put the sound on in Garageband, but the quality is only TV, not the 1024x768 my projector will run at.
Would it not be great if we could have Keynote, but with a Final Cut or Garageband timeline where we could drop the dissolves AND retain the quality? The technology is all there, but in different programs!!! Or am I missing something?
    N

If you're JUST dealing with photos, why not look at PhotoMagico or one of the other slide show apps. You might have better luck.
But you are right. What I want to see is something akin to Presentation Studio Pro from Apple...I mean, no where in the mac world is there a tool similar to what folks used to use Director for that EASY to use. They did it for video, then for photos, why not for presentations and multi-media? It could have an interface similar to DVD Studio Pro, but with the guts of Keynote. It could lock to a real time code track so everything stays in time, and have LOTS of interactivity features so you could feasibly build Flash movies with it, or QT interactive movies, or spit out something that's self playing on a Mac.
If Apple won't build it, maybe someone else will finally see the need. I can't imagine it's any LESS of a niche than Aperture.

  • How to use your Global ready phone in Mexico.

    PREVIEW
Traveling Abroad in Mexico with a Verizon Phone
How to Use a Verizon Global Ready Phone Abroad
So your planning a trip to Cancun Mexico and want internet/cell service with out paying Roaming fees to your U.S service provider here is what you need to know to have access to Facebook, Vonage, Google maps, email and other apps while abroad.
I will cover two bases one for your Global ready/Unlocked phone and the other for a personal Hotspot in your room or wherever your laptop will be this is only If you plain to purchase or have semi-free WiFi service from the Hotel.First I will cover your smartphone:
The phone I used and test this with was mostly on my Razr Maxx from Motorola from the Verizon network. This can also worked with a Iphone 4S (You need to call Verizon First before traveling) please check out this thread to use your iPhone Unlocking Iphone for International Travel
Note: you only have to do this once per-iPhone after that it is global ready as long as you own it.
For a Android phone they are Global ready phones no need to call Verizon it is already ready. Popular Android phones that are Global ready ie. Razr, Razr Maxx, plus both HD versions also, The Samsung GS3 and GS4 are Global ready.
For those who don't know, All Verizon 4G phones carry a sim card inside. They can be replace with a non-U.S carrier sim.(Make sure you insert the sim in the right way or it will not work.) If you try to use a none Verizon sim in the U.S it will be blocked by The Verizon network.
Verizon runs off of both GSM and Cdma networks but while aboard you have a option to change these features.
By pressing the menu button click System Setting> More / Wireless & Networks>Mobile Networks>Network Mode.
    Step 1.
Most important leave your phone in airplane mode once you reach your destination you can still use WiFi while your phone is in this mode. While in Mexico or any country aboard you will need a local sim from any carrier that is GSM. A prepaid sim works great, some/most company's will make you pay a fee for the sim and they will not provide any help with setting your phone up to there services.
Here are a two reasons why. #1 You did not buy it from them. #2 They really don't know your Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile phone setup, Yes it is different then the same phones they sell on their own network. So buying a prepaid sim card is your best option then paying roaming fees to your U.S carrier.
After you have you sim you purchase the Data amount you think you will need you I got 1GB which was way more then enough for 5 days. I was consistently using my phone checking in on Foursquare etc.. you will also receive a local phone number too. I used a telcel sim card In Cancun The Telcel company is located in the Hotel Zone # 2 Blvd Kukulcan Km 12.5 77500 Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Telcel is the best for 4g and internet service.
    Mexico cellphone company's
http://www.telcel.com/portal/home.doTelcel: Excellent coverage, You'll have to present your passport. It took no time set up the data service. (You need to know their APN settings for data service I will cover this below. I used The Vonage app to Talk to friends and family in the U.S for free they were able to call and text me while using the Vonage app on their smart phone and toll free numbers work with Vonage but not with the Mexico number.(I will cover how to set up Vonage before your travel below). There are other cheaper company's but none with the same coverage as Telcel. It worked everywhere compared to the company below.
http://www.movistar.com.mx/Movistar: The underdog. Cheaper per-month. It is what The other phone used.I wanted to test both networks. The rate to call the USA from Mexico was only 2 pesos per minute (15 cents) but there are other options to call the U.S for free as stated above. Coverage is not great at all, but it wasn't to terrible either. It was really spotty while on the beach unlike Telcel. Traveling out of Cancun on a excursions there was next to none cellular service at all. A lot of the small towns didn't have Movistar coverage. You will end up roaming on a different network it will roam on the Telcel network instead yeah that's right I said Telcel.
    Prices
Everyone wants to use their Android phone or iPhone for checking emails, translating Spanish and occasionally consulting Google Maps while lost. It is easy to setup data on your phone once you have a SIM card and money on the account. If you don't explicitly buy data you can still use data on your device, but it will be taken out of your account balance at a very expensive rate. The best thing to do is to sign up for a package deal. Movistar is $200 pesos ($15) for 1GB which expires in 1 month. If your stay is not long Telcel offers the same 1GB data service for 10 days.
To sign up for one of these packages after you have added money to your Movistar account you send a text message to a special number and money is automatically taken from your account balance to pay for your data package. For example, to sign up for 1GB over 30 days, a $200 peso plan, you send a text message to 100 that says "30 dias". $200 pesos will be removed from your Movistar account and you'll have a gig of data to use.
Telcel works in a different way but you don't not need to text any special number( if your purchase from their main Store) after you add money to your account. it is automatically applied only when you use any OXXO convenience store to refill your mobile service then you will need to text a special number which will be provided . I prefer going to Telcel company just in case of a language barrier.
Note: That all Telcel prepaid plans are currently referred to as "Amigo". Click Here for Telcel Rate Rates are in pesos not dollars
Your sim card good and can be reused up too 1 year after money runs out or time expires.
Current Exchange rate $1 USD = 13.2408 pesos.
    Step 2
Lets get your internet service running :
After you have your sim and paid for data you need add the APN setting to your phone. I did have to add the APN to my Razr Maxx for 4G/3G coverage, As Same for the iPhone 4S to acquire the 3G data service. Insert your Telcel sim go to the one of the link below, click your phone software link. its free no need to pay a company which will take you minutes to do. If your phone is running any Android you click the android manual setup for Iphone the Iphone manual setup. Here is Telcel APN setting for Cancun, Mexico . Here is Movistar APN settings
Note: If you have a fully unlocked smartphone that is not locked to any specific carrier in the United States, Canada or any other country you may not have to enter the APN setting manually.
How to Call and Text to the U.S and Receive Calls and Text from the U.S while abroad at no Charge.
I have used Vonage for a while to me its the best. I have used on trips to Europe and it has always work without any problems.
When setting up Vonage you must do it before your trip abroad because it will asked for your current U.S number for authorization and activation this number will not change once you use a foreign sim since your account is linked to your U.S number not your carrier.
You can add money to your Vonage account if you are planing on calling land lines or a smartphone with out the Vonage app attached to that smartphone number. (I notice a few times I used Vonage from Mexico to call a mobile phone that did not have Vonage, I was able to call them for free, which was a bonus). You can Call, send SMS and MMS threw Vonage at no additional charge to any smartphone with the Vonage app.
There are other apps out there that do work the same way as Vonage. Viber, Call and Text any Viber user for free. Whatsapp a texting app only no calling is available (yet).
These apps will use the data service you have purchase while abroad or if you have WiFi enable on your phone if WiFi is available they will use the WiFi Data instead of Cellular Data. Almost every Hotel in Cancun makes you pay for WiFi. If you are at a hotel that offers free WiFi you are in luck but the service may be spotty in some areas in your hotel.
Note to reader: The Hotspot for Verizon Wireless did not work it will look for Verizon servers. I will update this article when I find a Hotspot for Telcel. I also know The Foxfi app did not work either even the paid version.
    Thanks for reading !!
    Enjoy your trip.

How to turn your computer into a Virtual (Personal)Router.
Our hotel the Grand Oasis Cancun provided internet for only 36 hours and you could only use it on one device which comes to my next option as using your Laptop as a Personal Router to broadcast WiFi to any devices near your computer. Our room was on the Second level of the Pyramid at Grand Oasis and I was able to access it while at the VIP lounge below our room. Before our supposedly free internet service ended.
I attempted using the hotel next door since I was getting a good signal from the Omni Hotel. They offered complimentary 24hr internet access using your browser as a way to track your use. Once you find the signal of the Omni it will open your browser I used Google Chrome, after it opens you go threw a few simple steps and your ready.
I learned that after the 24 hours are up all you have to do is disconnect from their network, just run Ccleaner(free program) then find the Signal of the hotel and you will be given another 24 hours. What Ccleaner(<--download there) does is clears anything attached to your browser ie cookies temp files etc. it cleans your browser history giving you a way of not paying for the hotel fee of internet and giving you free WiFi. this is only if you are next to the Omni hotel :).
What you need to download to turn your computer into a hotspot need to say is this little easy to use program Virtual Router. Once it has download test at your home to make sure it works with you devices. This will work with Tablets, Phones and other computers that cant find the Omni WiFi signal. Your welcome. To use it, is simple. Open program>make a password>select WiFi and start VR.

  • Error message trying to burn keynote presentation in idvd

I know this has been posted before - but I can't seem to find an answer to fix my problem. I am trying to export a 30 slide presentation from Keynote 3 to iDVD 6 - the presentation is using slides which should be the optimum slide size for iDVD (according to help files) it has an sudio file with it, but when I go to burn it using iDVD i get the following error message:
    Error During Track Initialization
There was an error during track initialization and iDVD
cannot continue burning this DVD 'the disc has not been
touched yet!). Please select Delete Encoded Assets'
from the Advanced-menu and try burning this project again.
I tried exporting the presentation to QT, which then worked and allowed me to burn the dvd, but the picture quality was completely rubbish.
Am at a total loss what to do next as have spent last three days trying various things with no success... idvd now keeps crashing on me as well. I have an urgent deadline I need to meet by next week

Does your slideshow in Keynote have audio associated with it?
Exporting from Keynote to iDVD6 will essentially strip the audio from said presentation. As as you may have noticed, the results aren't all that great in terms of visual quality either .... and it will get even worse once compressed into mpeg2 /iDVD which is less than a third of a megapixel in resolution for still images). It's just the nature of the beast until we seen Blue Ray firmly established. This begs the question .... then why use this particular option for a slideshow presentation ??? Not the approach I'd use at all.
Suggestion: Find a better way to present your 30 slides /presentation that will do some measure of justice to the original image. Here are two apps I'd recommend looking into:
    http://lqgraphics.com/phototomovie.php
    http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/overview/
Btw ... most Errors During Track Initialization tend to point at user's choice of media and or read/write speed when burning. I recommend using only Verbatim or Maxell DVD-R for troubleshooting purposes on this forum. Take the time to lower the burn speed to 4x or lower using apple's disc utilities or Roxio Toast. (Slower is better).
Hope this helps but if not come on back.

  • Juuuust in case you are wondering why your bass bin doesn't work in

you need to go to the THX SETUP CONSOLE and "Enable Bass Redirection"
because this isn't set by default!!!
    [img"]http://img54.imageshack.us/img54/999/bassyc5yk7.gif">

    Hi,
Whenever you have a question, it helps to post:
    (1) The version of Oracle (and any other relevant software) you're using
    (2) A little sample data (just enough to show what the problem is) from all the relevant tables
    (3) The results you want from that data (If you're asking about a DML statement, such as UPDATE, this will be the state of the tables when everything is finished.)
    (4) Your best attempt so far (formatted) (You posted this, but since it's unformated, it's very hard to read.)
    (5) The full error message (if any), including line number.
Executable SQL statements (like "CREATE TABLE AS ..." or "INSERT ..." statements) are best for (2).
If you can present your problem using commonly available tables (for example, tables in the scott schema, or views in the data dictionary), then you can omit (2).
Formatted tabular output is okay for (3).
I'll bet you know something more specific about the problem than "it doesn't work", such as an error message or wrong results. Why not share that information?
One possible problem is that the sub-query sometimes finds more than one matching row, so it returns two (or more) courtNotes. If it does that, which one do you want to use?

  • What's an effective method for getting replies to your questions?

Hey guys so hopefully I get a response to this cause recently this has been bugging me a lot.
I've been making topics on here over a period of about a year or so and almost none of them i've been getting replies and I know most of these questions are problems that i Know professionals like yourselves can answer. So my question is what am I doing wrong? Is it that no one knows? Am I too vague or too specific? Is it cause I made it confusing? Let me know if you can. Thanks a lot!!
If you want a sample of what I mean, here's a couple links if you need one to give me a good answer:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2451877&tstart=0

In your sample post you write:
it says "Attempting to copy the disk "Ipod" failed. You do not have the privilages to make the chanages."
Then right behind it it says "The ipod cannot by synced. You do not have enough privilages for this opperation"
Now i've read up on this already on many sites...
Potential respondents are more likely to also read up on the problem if you quote the error messages accurately — then they can do a quick copy & paste into Google. But with "privileges" misspelt twice and "be", "changes" and "operation" all misspelt, potential respondents have to do a lot of editing before looking up those error messages. Note that in Compose mode you can click on this symbol to activate the spell checker:
You also write "Ipod/ipod" instead of "iPod". You may not think this makes much difference, but Apple apparently does as they consistently refer to their product as "iPod".

    So where's the +*other link*+ of the +"couple links"?!+
Your +Public Profile+ indicates you're using Mac OS X (10.6.2) — is that true? (The current version is 10.6.3.)

  • Presenting Dashboards to users

    Hello Gurus,
Can you please share your knowledge.. how you are presenting your dashboards to the users? are you using Infoview or Enterprise Portal or saving html file ( generated from swf) in a shared drive? if on Infoview or EP, how you are controlling the user access ? if on common drive how you are controlling user access? Please advise me...you will be awarded with good marks ;).. thanks

    Hi Sathya,
The easiest way to present dashboards with user level security is through Infoview.
Basically you can control who has access to what dashboard through the CMC.
In addition you can do row level security at the the Universe.
If you want to share your dashboards externally (ie: through sharepoint).  I recommend that you don't share it through a network drive but through an external web application.  It is much easier for the users to access the dashboards this way instead of sifting through a ton of network directories.
To accomplish user security you can control what dashboards are accessible through the 3rd party web app from a user logon which can be captured through single sign on for example.  Row level security and single sign on to the dashboard can then be accomplished by sending in the correct CELogonToken to the dashboard.
Please visit my blog article on how to accomplish this.
    [blog article link|http://davidlai101.com/blog/2010/11/18/xcelisius-dashboards-outside-of-infoview-with-the-help-of-celogontoken/]

  • I forgot my password\i get my phone back and i forgot my password so i read that you have to restore your iphone so when i tried restoring it it said the i phone cannot be restored at this time and i need help plz.

I forgot my password\i get my phone back and i forgot my password so i read that you have to restore your iphone so when i tried restoring it it said the i phone cannot be restored at this time something about cant be contacted with the server and i youtubed how to fix that and it did but when i tried it again it said error (3194) so i went back and it said it cant be restored at this time please im paying 100$ per month and i cant use my i phone 4 hep....

Error 3194 most often means that your Computer Hosts file is blocking Apple from signing your firmware. Search on your computer for the word 'Hosts'. Open the Hosts with a word processor. If gs.apple.com is present your Hosts file is blocking Apple, and therefore giving Error 3194. A stock Hosts file does not have gs.apple.com in it. If want Apple to Restore your Firmware you will need to remove the lines with gs.apple.com in them.

  • What is the best way to present favorite photos for a group of people

What is the best way to present your favorite photos for a group presentation?? I use iPhoto library. I also have Aperture downloaded on my iMac. Not too familiar with Aperture.  It is for a milestone birthday.

I think it's easiest to work from iPhoto. When I had to do a similar presentation for a birthday bash, I loaded the picts from my camera and some from my computer into iPhoto on a relative's MacBook Pro avalable at the site. It did not take a lot of time or trouble.
iPhoto allows fairly easy options for presenting the slide show , including various transitions and putting a sound track underneath.
Regardless of whether the presentation was or wasn't  less elegant than what some more expensive software could do, the attendees loved what we did for that bash.
Never used Aperture so I don't know what it can do. You could ask in the Aperature forums here:

  • Share Screen during presentations

I'm looking to the community to see if anyone else can replicate an issue we are seeing.
    Steps to replicate:
Open Remote Desktop (tested with both 3.8 and 3.7.2)
Use the Manage... 'Share Screen' feature to present your display on at least one other client. (Your screen shows on the client now)
On the admin system, open PowerPoint or Keynote and create a default presentation. Create one slide with some sample text. Present your slide-show full screen.
Within 2 minutes, the ARD ForcedView client will crash and return to the desktop on the client.
You can cancel the screen sharing task and re-connect and it will start up again, and crash within 2 minutes.
All test systems are running Mavericks (10.9.5)
The version of the admin Remote Desktop doesn't seem to matter.
Clients which are running ARD 3.7 do NOT have this problem. Only clients which have updated to 3.8.2 update are showing this problem.
We have tested with a variety of Mac hardware, and even different buildings with different network setups with the same results.
Can anyone else confirm this behavior?

I have also test with Yosemite on the client system with the same results.

  • Website presentation

    hello
what is the best way of showing a website during a keynote presentation? unfortunately embedding in keynote isn't possible, so how can i switch between keynote and safari the fastest and most comfortable way? can i directly switch back to the prior position in keynote?
    thanks
    simon

The easiest way to do this is before you present your presentation: a) close all other applications; b) open Keynote and Safari; c) in Safari go to the website you want; d) launch the Keynote presentation. You can now run the presentation, and when you want to show the website, press H to hide Keynote and show Safari. To get back to Keynote press Command-Tab.
Alternatively, if you want to be flashy, you can use Expose (be sure the appropriate preference in checked in Keynote Slideshow preferences). Set up as above, and at the appropriate point in the show, hit F9 to show Keynote and Safari, click the Safari window, then repeat and click on Keynote to return.
These methods all presume you have keyboard access -- I don't know of a way to do this from a remote.

  • Can You Please Make Itunes So That It Asks Us Before We Restore To Restore And Keep Your Same IOS Firmware Or Just Update And Restore?

I feel this way because i have an ipad. It had a passcode and now i seem to have forgotten it. I wanted to restore it but it wants me to update to IOS 7.0.4 and i dont like IOS 7.0.4 so i have IOS 6.1.3 and i like it cause IOS 7.0.4 is very bright i cant seem to be able to see in it proper. when i turn the brightness low i cant see anything it becomes too dark. Can you give itunes the capability of asking us if we want to update and restore or just restore but keep the firmware/IOS you are on.

You seem to think you are talking to Omnifocus here.  The odds of actually reaching them here are practically 0%, I would guess.
I suggest you go to the omnigroup forums and present your suggestions in the omnifocus forum.

    Naomi N
    T-SQL: Random Equal Distribution
    Jinchun Chen: "Nice."
JS: "The crucial thing about such a procedure is to check the data before the randomization and afterwards. You might encounter situations where "John Smith" and "John Meyers" might have exchanged their First names
which is technically correct, but logically and obviously wrong. So make sure that there is one additional check afterwards that makes sure that eventual privicy concerns will not survive the random process. Normally this would not happen, but I have already
checked this is one of my older blog entries, where we exactly had that problem obfuscating data to make that operational and live data will not be recognized afterwards. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jenss/archive/2009/04/08/when-is-random-random-enough.aspx In
addition to this some attributes are sticky to each other like gender and First Name. You also have to make sure that your distribution might change statistically in relation to other attributes."
Richard Mueller: "Very instructive. Perhaps the See Also section should have more links."
Ed Price: "Great formatting and topic! Could benefit from more descriptions. Great article!"
GO: "Naomi, your article is nice. Simple to understand the 'problem' and execute the 'solution""

JS: "For me not using this sort of things regularly, I don't see the problem and the benefit. I have no doubt that this is a brilliant explanations how to cope with a problem, but for me this is missing yet the red line. More pictures
would be helpful describing the problem and outlining the results produced."
Richard Mueller: "Needs more explanation, and perhaps an example. There should be links to relevant references."

DataCleanUp() Function Implementation in MS SQL Server
    Jinchun Chen: "Good."
JS: "-Does actually not work for Case senstive areas where I want to remoce certain Upper/lower case characters. This might be not interesting for some people, but is extremely important and relevant to other people. The limitation is
that I can´t pass multiple values to be removed from the string, right ? Could this be implemented as well as many people wash out their data from unused / unimportant control characters. "I have tested it on a table which has got more than 11 Million
rows and it executed fine returning the correct results. Since this is a scalar function you will notice decrease in performance." Once you want to maintain the old data and keep the new cleaned up one seperately, you could suggest something like persisting
the data in a computed column which could be indexed and then help improving the performance. This would not be the case for any adhoc queries though."
Richard Mueller: "Very clever and also very useful. There should be links to references, for example to explain the PATINDEX function."
Ed Price: "Great job on this article! Very clear and well executed! See JS's comments for some thoughts about what's possible. Great article!"
Manoj Pandey: "A good utility Function that I can use and tweak for my future needs, Thanks."

DRC: "-- This is a great article which provides in-depth information on internals of Online & Offline rebuild index and Transaction logging. -- The following statement need to be re-written for more clarity. “The less logging can be
attributed to the fact that no information about page allocation is logged information about de-allocation is logged please see below figure 13. Also if you compare amount of record returned in this case we had output containing just 64 rows while offline
index rebuild had ____ rows.” -- Overall, a great article, thoroughly enjoyed reading it."

Manoj Pandey: "Nice article with a different way to resolve a given problem. I think this can also be done by using NTILE() function. I've added the code in comments section."
    Rogge H
Extending SYS.Geometry to Utilize Temporal Data
GO: "Great article, I enjoyed reading it. Thank you"
Manoj Pandey: "I like the idea, but it took me some more time to understand the overall logic as I'm new to Geo datatypes, Thanks."
Ed Price: "Good job on the opening descriptions! Could benefit from breaking up and explaining the code more. Images and references would be helpful. Good article!"
