Preview inaccurate/gray field added to panels on mac

Photoshop 12.0.1 on Max OSX 10.5.8 with 2 NVidia GeForce GT120 and two screens
I get a useless bit of gray added at the bottom of Configurator Panels (at least in Photoshop); is this because I work on a Mac and do any of you have an idea if this can be corrected?
Thanks for any clarifications.

Hi,
I have not tested it on Mac, I will test it tomorrow. It should be same result.
About the steps to apply the fix on Mac.
1) Use finder open folder /Application/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5/Plug-ins/Panels/<Your Panel Name>/Content folder
2) You can see a file with name <Your Panel Name>.swf, rename this file to <Your Panel Name>.swf.bak
3) Copy the downloaded PHSP12Template.swf.gif to same folder, and rename to <Your Panel Name>.swf
4) Reopen Photoshop.
5) You may need drag the "Resize" icon a little up manually, since Photoshop already remember its last size.
6) Re-export panel will overwrite the fix, so need do 1) to 5) again.

  • Failing to refresh LOV fields added in the query panel with table

    Hi.. Iam using Jdev 11.1.1.2.0
    I have a scenario like ..i need to add 2 cascaded lovs in search panel and clicking on search button, the result should be displayed in table form.
    For example..
    I have cascaded LOV fields departmentId and Firstname ,
    first name dropdown values depends on the selection of value in DepartmentIddropdown. I need to add only these 2 fields in search panel and clciking on search buton , the result should be displayed in emp table.
    I have achieved the same creating View criteria with 2 fields and dragging and dropping that as query panel with table. But my problem is First name lov is not populating based on department id. It is showing static dropdown list.
    Please help me how to achieve this ? thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Alekhya.

    Thanks for the reply.. actually if iam using those cascaded lovs in a form then we can set properties as u mentioned to refresh and display values correctly in the dropdown.
    My scenario is like i need to use those fields in query panel header
    code snippet
    <af:panelHeader text="Employees" id="ph1">
    <af:query id="qryId1" headerText="Search" disclosed="true"
    value="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.queryDescriptor}"
    model="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.queryModel}"
    queryListener="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.processQuery}"
    queryOperationListener="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.processQueryOperation}"
    resultComponentId="::resId1"/>
    </af:panelHeader>
    Iam not having any field names to add properties.

  • How to right align a read only numeric field in a panel form layout

    Hi, does anyone know how to right align a read only numeric field in a panel form layout? I am using: Style Class = AFFieldNumberMarker, but it only seems to work if the field is disabled. Disabling the field gives it a difference appearance that does not look right on our forms. These are calculated fields, which cannot be modified, so read only is necessary.
    I have looked online for some answers, and it seems that others are having similar issues.
    I have tried different combinations for the properties, but so far I cannot get it to work.
    Thanks

  • How to handle Custom field added in BP : Role Bill Account

    Hi Friends,
    I am working on an interface which creates Bill Account role for a BP but the problem is there are about 15 Custom fields added to standard BP transaction in BA role.
    As I am using BAPI_BUPA_FS_CREATE_FROM_DATA2 for creating the BP and
    BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE for changing the BP role Bill Account?
    Can anyone tell me how to handle those custom fields in the existing BAPIs or there is some other way of doing it?
    Thanks in advance,
    Pradeep
    Note : Helpful answers will be rewarded.

    Hi,
    I have seen these BAPIs but are they used with normal BAPIs for BP creation and change.
    For example : I create the BP using BAPI_BUPA_FS_CREATE_FROM_DATA2 and for the Custom fields I should use these BAPIs as suggested by you alongwith the create BAPI.
    And will it work for Changing the BP also.
    Kindly clarify.

  • Adding a Panel to JApplet doesn't work properly

    Hi there,
    I have a class "Editor" extended from JPanel to edit some data. In my JApplet I added a JMenubar with setJMenubar() and registered an ActionListener to the menu items. Everything works fine except the displaying of the EditorPanel after choosing the menu item.
    When I'm adding the Panel in the constructor of the applet it is shown correctly.
    public class EditorApplet extends JApplet implements ActionListener
      public void init()
        setJMenuBar(createJMenuBar());
        Editor e = new Editor();
        getContentPane().add(e); // works perfectly
        e.load(2); // load data into editor
      public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
        if (e.getActionCommand().equals("..."))
          Editor e = new Editor();
          e.loadObjects(1);
          getContentPane().removeAll();
          getContentPane().add(e); // nothing happens!?
          getContentPane().repaint(); // ???
          repaint(); // ???
        }What else needs to be done to display the 'new' Editor?

    Wait. You're adding an ActionEvent to your panel.
    I think you want to do "add(this.e)".

  • F4 help for a customer defined field added as structure enhancement

    I am trying to get the F4 help on a customer defined field added as structure enhancement. This can be achieved by programming the "F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST" (as I have data in an internal table) in the Process On Value-Request event. The problem is because it is a customer field addition as structure enhancement. I am not sure where I should put this code segment to make it work. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Could you create a search help and attach that to the data element of your field, and then populate the data using code in the function exit of your search help if it cannot be directly read from a table or view?
    This would remove your code from the SAP dialog program.  The only mod you may need to make is to add / flag the search help on the screen field.

  • Preview on device from folio overlays panel is fuzzy

    I'm new to DPS so I'm sure there's a setting somewhere that I haven't checked, but why is the text fuzzy on my iPad when I preview my article? I have a retina iPad, my document is 1024x768, and I'm using the "Preview on XYZ iPad" function at the bottom of the Folio Overlay panel. What am I doing wrong? It looks fine if I preview the folio in the Folio Builder panel--what's the difference?

    When you click Preview at the bottom of the Overlays panel, you preview the layout, not the article or the folio. When you preview the layout, you get PNG or JPG image format, not PDF. For the best preview experience, use the Folio Builder panel to preview either the article or folio. That way, you use the image format of the articles. If your article uses PDF image format, it likely won't be fuzzy. And if you see something fuzzy when previewing, let us know, and we'll help you figure it out.

  • Infoset (coding in additional field added )

    Hi
    I need some help regarding coding for the additional fields added to the infoset.
    As a data source I have selected a direct read from table MARA. I need to display the description in all languages for the material chosen on the selection screen when the Query is executed in sq01.
    I could have used a join between MARA and MAKT, but instead I have chosen to add an additional field
    with the head 'material description' and coded the select for the material description as per matnr in the coding section.
    The basic list display, only dislays one description, the last one and not all the possible descriptions in all languages.
    What should be the probable code and where should i place that code for such an implementation.
    Please suggest.
    Smriti

    You can do loading of master data text for achieving the material descriptions.

  • Custom Fields added to Project Definitions transaction (CN42N)

    In the Project Definitions Overview transaction (CN42N), it was requested that we add custom fields to table PROJ.  The fields added were Responsible Analyst Name/Analyst No. and Responsible Accountant Name/Accountant No.  We have created two Z tables, one for the Responsible Accountant info, and one for the Responsible Analyst info.  These Z tables have been populated with the necessary data, no problems.  The Issue is that in table PROJ, only the Responsible Account No., and Responsible Analyst No. is displayed, and not their respective Names.  Why are they populated in the Z table but not in table PROJ?

    Hi,
    First thing is when your are saving number are you also saving description from your Ztable to proj table zfields for description?  For this I assume you have also added description field in  PROJ table.
    Also I am wondering why you want to store description in PROJ table. You have number in PROJ table  and when ever or where ever you want you can pick description from Ztable. This will help to maintain consistency in logng term.
    Say  for example today you have description  ABC PQR XYZ in Ztable and while saving this description will be saved in PROJ. Later due to some reaosn you changed description to ABC UVW PQR in Ztable. Now you see the description will be different in PROJ and Ztable. Hence I would just maintain number in Proj and get description always from Ztable. Hope this makes sense.
    Enjoy SAP.

  • Fields added using EEWB

    Hi All,
    i am trying to add new custom fields using EEWB to the Business Activity.
    i need to know to which tables are these fields added?
    Also, please advise if the fields can be directly added using screen painter. If yes, how to find the program name and screen no. for a business activity.

    Hi Alka,
    Fields cannot be directly added using screen painter as this is a standard screen and there is no screen exit also available to do.
    U need to add the fields using EEWB transaction.
    Here you need to Provide the Object and Extension Type during enhancement.
    These custom fields can then be seen in
    table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H for header details and
    table CRMD_CUSTOMER_I for Item details.
    This will add an extra tab in transaction CRMD_ORDER for
    the object enhanced using EEWB.
    If you want  to enhance the web view for the business object then you need to add these fields in the context node of the view getting enhanced and then mayp them to the view screen as well.

  • Adding a panel to an open GUI with a background image

    Dear java programmers,
    I want to add a JPanel with some components on an open(visible) GUI whenever a button is clicked. That JPanel carries a button, a progress bar, a label, and a textarea inside a scrollpane. Whenever the button of the panel is clicked a program starts working, and the progress and output of that program is reflected on the progress bar and textfield respectively. I 'put the code to generate and add the panel in a so called "Progress" class, which is different from the GUI class that contains the code to create and display the main gui.
    My gui also has a background image to make is look fancy, which is added by the following way:
    GUI mygui = new GUI();
    mygui.getContentPane().add(new ImagePanel(new ImageIcon("/home/thomas/Documents/external_placement/Report/presentation4_transp.png").getImage()));
    My problem is that the background image is hiding the panel (whenever added) and only when the cursor passes above the button inside the panel it becomes visible (just the button). However when I click the button and the program starts I can see everything inside the panel.
    Is there an efficient way of making the panel visible at once?
    thanks in advance,
    Tom

    Ok now that I'm certain about how to use code tags I'll try to make myself clear.
    First of all I made it work by removing the ImagePanel , adding the JPanel and re-adding ImagePanel, all from within the Progress.class. But I'm not sure if this is the right way.
    Below I'll make an attempt to provide some SSCCE--code. First of all the classes I'm using are 2, the GUI.class which contains all the components of the gui, and the Progress.class which has the additional panel and adds it to the gui whenever the "submit" button is clicked.
    The code from GUI.class which is relevant to this question is:
    public class GUI extends javax.swing.JFrame{
    //the following are declared as "protected" because they are also used elsewhere
                protected static GUI mygui = new GUI();
                protected static ImagePanel backgroundImagePanel = new ImagePanel(new ImageIcon("/home/thomas/Documents/external_placement/Report/presentation4_transp.png").getImage());
                /* The constructor */
                public GUI() {
            initComponents(); //this method initializes all the components, puts the in a JTabbedPane and packs them the JFrame
            setLayout(new BorderLayout());
        /* the eventlistener of the "submit" button */
        private void submitButtonActionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent evt) {
            ProgressBarTest pbt = new ProgressBarTest(mygui);
            pbt.StartProgress();
        public static void main(String args[]) {
            java.awt.EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
                public void run() {
                    mygui.getContentPane().add(backgroundImagePanel);
                    mygui.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
                    mygui.pack();
                    mygui.setVisible(true);
    } And then I have my Progress.class:
    public class Progress implements ActionListener, Runnable {
    //the following are declared as "private" because they are also used elsewhere inside the class
        private static javax.swing.JProgressBar progressBar = new JProgressBar(0, 100);
        private static javax.swing.JTextArea progressTextArea = new javax.swing.JTextArea(5,20);
        private static ProgressBarTest _this;
        {color:#0000ff}private static GUI mygui;{color}
        /* the constructor */
        public Progress(GUI gui){
            _this = this;
            {color:#0000ff}mygui = gui;{color}
        private static void createAndShowPanel(){
            javax.swing.JScrollPane progressScrollPane = new JScrollPane(progressTextArea);
            javax.swing.JLabel progressLabel = new JLabel("Progress");
            javax.swing.JButton progressButton = new JButton("Do something");
            progressButton.addActionListener(_this);
            javax.swing.JPanel progressPanel = new JPanel();
            javax.swing.GroupLayout progressPanelLayout = new javax.swing.GroupLayout(progressPanel);
            progressPanel.setLayout(progressPanelLayout);
            progressPanelLayout.setAutoCreateGaps(true);
            progressPanelLayout.setAutoCreateContainerGaps(true);
            progressPanelLayout.setHorizontalGroup(
                    progressPanelLayout.createParallelGroup(javax.swing.GroupLayout.Alignment.LEADING)
                    .addGroup(progressPanelLayout.createSequentialGroup()
                    .addContainerGap()
                    .addGroup(progressPanelLayout.createParallelGroup(javax.swing.GroupLayout.Alignment.LEADING)
                    .addComponent(progressScrollPane, javax.swing.GroupLayout.DEFAULT_SIZE, 872, Short.MAX_VALUE)
                    .addComponent(progressBar, javax.swing.GroupLayout.DEFAULT_SIZE, 872, Short.MAX_VALUE)
                    .addComponent(progressLabel)
                    .addComponent(progressButton, javax.swing.GroupLayout.Alignment.TRAILING))
                    .addContainerGap())
            progressPanelLayout.setVerticalGroup(

    }Please notice how I use the GUI object (named "mygui") inside the Progress.class to retrieve components from the main gui (particularly the jTabbedPane1), align them with the additional panel (progressPanel) and add them to the main gui again. I tried to color blue the lines where the GUI instance is used but I'm not sure if they will be visible.
    My questions are:
    1. Is this the right way to add a new panel to a jFrame from an external class? Do I add jTabedPane twice in the above code?
    2. Is this the most efficient way of making the additional panel visible at once, meaning by removing the ImagePanel (backgroundImagePanel) adding the panel (progressPanel) and finally adding again the ImagePanel (backgroundImagePanel)?
    Hope I was perspicuous.
