Preview Works Fine - Packaged Application Fails

Greetings -
Working on a html/javascript AIR app that basically inspects a directory structure and writes out an xml file. When I preview the application from within Dreamweaver using the Preview in Adobe AIR button, all works as expected. It writes the file out without issue. When I create an AIR package and install it, the app hangs. It appears to just stop. No error is thrown, I can't find anything in the log.
I haven't done much with AIR, but anything I've been able to make work with the previewer has worked as exepected when the package was created and installed as a desktop app.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your response. I seem to have corrected the error which was tied to a Filestream object that I had opened but failed to close. Once I cleaned up after myself as I should, it seems to be behaving as expected.
The curious thing to me is that it worked fine when run from within Dreamweaver, but failed when run from the installed package, making it a bit difficult to debug.

I'm having an issue where the preview works fine when tabbing through a form, but when I save it as a pdf it skips a radio group altogether or tabs to the 2nd option in the radio groups? Any ideas how to fix this?

Error occurred while packaging application: fails to run on iOS device...

I am building a project in Apple Mavericks using FlashBuilder 4.7 using AIR SDK 3.9 and Flash Player 11.9.
The project is plugin project that builds and runs for android in the AIR simulator as well as on the device (so far so good)… it also builds and runs for iOS in the Xcode simulator but fails on the device… I have checked and double checked to make sure that my certificate (p12) and provisioning profile are correct and have also confirmed that the Application descriptor correctly mirrors the app ID (in flash builder as well as in the provisioning profile). I have allowed System Events in the Security & Privacy setting in Mavericks.
If I try to build and run for the device… after a few minutes it fails with a message… “Exception occurred during launch Reason: Error occurred while packaging application:” without any detailed information.
If I try to “Export Release Build” it fails after a few minutes with message… “Error occurred while packaging application: Id: framework not found UIKit Compilation failed while executing : Id64” Even though I know UIKit was included in the Xcode project when I started and UIKit is (I thought) automatically included by Flash Builder!
Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction? I really need to get this project running on the device, I was pretty sure that the provisioning was my problem but have not had any luck getting it running no matter how many times I review and check my settings and provisioning. Folio preview works fine everywhere but....

I have a page with a MSO. No matter where I proof it. Via my desktop via tools or via folio builder the MSO layout works as intended.
But not when I preview on my iPad via Adobe Content Viewer. (last version and now the new version)
I have deleted from Folio builder and reimported, scaled down the MSO and tried a new apporach, renamed file and reuploaded but still won't work as intended on iPad only. All other previews work just fine.
Any ideas how to fix this? What might be causing the hang up?

It worked at one point. It is auto play thru the states. Stop at last state. last state is the prior states all combined.
I just created 3 seperate .jps of the orginal Indesign document with each MSO (1 .jpg for each different MSO state and placed each one of the .jps into the Indesign doc. and made all 3 into a MSO gain.
I then uploaded via Folio builder. That Previewed just fine on the iPad Adobe Content Viewer. Worked as planned
my problem is when I built the orginal layout in InDesign using text and image boxes etc. and not exporting the whole layout as a .jpg.
That folio will Preview just fine on my Mac using all the Preview functions built into the InDesign program and folio builder. The 3 state MSO would not work once on the iPad.
This work around makes it work on the iPad but I'll have to export as a .png so the text in the document will not be so rough around the edges. Still wondering why it happened and how to fix.

Microphone dont work in win 8.1 and win 10 tech preview works fine in win 8 and below

my microphone works fine in win 8 but when i upgrade to win8.1 it doesn't work my motherboard is Asus P5KPL-CM i don't know is that a driver problem or not because the speakers work fine only the microphone doesn't work in any voice related apps. i am forced

This could be driver issue. Please contact the manufacturer to ask for the latest driver for your Webcam in Windows 8.1, and reinstall it to check the results. If there is not, we need wait for the updates from manufacturer.
Meanwhile, to use webcam, we need to get it properly set.

Mapping works fine alone but fails in Process flow

I have got a mapping which runs fine alone, but not in the process flow. I am using OWB 10gR2 (10.2.0.1.31).

I think it's will show error message in Job Detail Windows,
don't track only status pic, cause that pic just the End_Success operator in OWB.
if you need to know,lets try working fine mapping and connect it to the END_ERROR operator
they will return Error status picture,

Printing photos from iPhoto 9.5.1 on my printer yeilds garish two color prints. Exporting the photo from iPhoto to desktop then printing from Preview works fine. How can I get good prints from iPhoto?

When printing photos in iPhoto 9.5.1 with my HP inkjet printer the multitude of colors in the photos are reduced to two, Magenta and Yellow. If the photos are exported to my desktop (MacPro) and printed from Preview, the colors in the prints are fine. How do I get iPhoto to print the colors correctly?

What settings did you use in the Export Dialogue?
When you go File -> Export you get a tabbed box with various options. In the File Export tab you can choose to scale the pics, or keep them the same size, change or retain the format.

Local preview works fine - broken/erratic on iPad(through cloud to device)

Hello.
I have a Folio which was working just fine in Local mode. Having moved it to the cloud and downloaded it to iPad, functions are either broken or irratic.
This was orginally built over the last few days and was updated in the last 24 hours - then the woes started.
I've noted various comments about recent Folio Builder troubles and have v7.0.5.17 on CS5 with whatever the latest Adobe Content viewer is (installed yesterday). Mac is 10.7.2.
I deleted the Folio from the cloud this morning and largely remade the articles' enhancements from scratch, re-uploaded and then to back to iPad - yet no joy.
I know there's not much to go on here, but if you feel you can assist, then ask the questions and I'll answer then as best I can.

I tried an new user and this time it said that I didn't have a compatible version of Producer Tools! Most odd... given that there's no complaint with the original user... Howver, the little link to go get them refused to work.
So I followed the instructions for removal of these tools and tried again - no joy at all!
Un-installed CS completely and removed any vestiages of Adobe files, folders, prefs (but not user prefs) etc
Rebooted and re-installed and patched CS5.
Added Folio Producer 1.7.0 and then Folio Panel 1.1.7.2.
Deleted Folio from Cloud an re-added - I know it's wrong because it should be at least 140MB and it's only 11Mb when on iPad - and buttons/overlays etc as they were before all this started.
So; after all that no joy with either original or new user.
Can someone kindly confirm the versions I should have for CS5 please - that would be a start.

LSMW Fails when run in B/G but works fine in Front end..why?

i am trying to run a batch process by LSMW, my files are accurate, no problem with them, everything works fine but it fails when run in BG..works absolutely fine in front end. whats the diff with running in B/G?
same thing happens when i am trying to execute an RFC thru SAP JCO, it works when debugger is on (i guess switching on debugger is similar to running in B/G) but it doesnt work when debugger is off. but when i execute that RFC directly in se37 from SAP gui it works fine..fails when connected to JCO..
i am not having this issue with r/3 4.6c or mySAP ECC.6.0 i have this issue only in r/3 4.7.
has anyone faced the similar situtaion? pls help.

for LSMW its the recording of transaction PA40 (employee hire fails when filling address details) and PA30 (change address) and same is the case with RFC..well its a BAPI_ADDRESSEMPUS_CHANGE.
To eloborate more..the error is..Fill in all the mandatory fields.
which i am very much doing..there are no hidden fields or anything..i have seen the screens etc..I AM filling all mandatory fields. infact i am not leaving anything unfilled., same scrren is going fine when in front end..i am just clicking ok..ok..ok and boom transaction complete..no complaints. but running B/G is killing me.
i have to run batch for 100,000 employees
What fails my logic is..its working fine in 4.6c and mySAP ECC.6.0 but not in 4.7

A JSP is not the same as a Java application. A Java application has package statment, import statements, try/catch block, a JSP doesn't.

Java application fails to resolve name

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with a Java based application on Solaris 10. The application works fine and suddenly fails to resolve names (NS lookup order is files then dns) and hence disconnects users. We have to then touch the /etc/hosts so it updates the time stamp and the application starts working OK.
I don't have a clue of what's going on...Any one ?

I have you got a recent patch level on your Solaris 10 system. You shouldn't have to update /etc/hosts to get it to reread the file.

Win7 64-bit PDF Preview works- except with PDF Forms?

I have Win7 64-bit with Adobe Acrobat X Standard installed. I receive PDFs as attachments in Outlook 2010, and for the most part, the PDF preview works fine. Downloaded PDFs that I have in a folder with the Preview Pane work fine as well. However with PDF forms, which have cells that you can manually fill in, i.e. name, hire date, etc. I receive an error "Please wait, If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document." This happens in both Outlook 2010, and the Windows Explorer preview pane panel. The attached website does not fix my issue as the registry key is correct. Any ideas? The DIAdem PDF output is not compatible with Windows 7 (DIAdem 11.1 was released in July 2009, Windows 7 was made available in October 2009). The DIAdem R&D department is currently working on a fix to add this functionality under Windows 7. We are working to provide a solution as soon as possible and will make the release of the Service Pack known here on the forum as soon as it is available.

I am developing a book via email with a collaborator. iBooks Files are sent to me via a link to preview on iPad. This worked fine for a while but now getting download errors and the unhappy mac face saying download failed. Any ideas?
