Price redetermination at GR

Hello friends
I want to use price redetermination for freight condition at GR. That is, I create PO with basic price and freight condition (determined automatically via access sequence). Freight actually incurred can change from one partial delivery to another. So I maintain in Purchase Order  - Item - Additonal Data, Price category as 5 - Redetermine price at GR.
Now I change the condition record for the freight condition to maintain new price. (Not touching the PO).
When I do GR, I am expecting that system will pick the updated condition record value forfreight condition going by price det category 5 in PO. But no, it simply goes by what is there in PO only.
Is there no stanard way of achieving the freight condition redetermination at GR without having to write a pricing procedure routine?
Pl. help.
Sriram

On the Purchasing data of the vendor master XK03, there is a field called price control.
Price Determination (Pricing) Date Control
Determines which date is to be used for price determination (pricing) purposes.
Use
Enter the key for the desired date.
If you choose the date of goods receipt, for example, a new price will be determined upon the arrival of the goods, causing the item to be revaluated at this time.
Note
If you have chosen the delivery date as the date for price determination and an item contains several delivery dates (i.e. has a delivery schedule), the first delivery date (the delivery date specified in the first schedule line) is taken.
set a "5"to take the GR date
If it has not picked up have you tried price redetermination

  • Scale Price redetermination in order modification

    Hi,
The situation I met is the following :
Price scale registered on material/customer with minimum quantity of 100 UN.
Order created with quantity on material of 150 UN.
    Order saved.
Price scale modification : minimum quantity is increased to 170 UN.
When I got back into modification into the order, I modified a text, the system redetermined automatically the scale price when saving. And a PR00 at 0 € was saved then (incomplete order).
I tested on a standard price without scale with a standard order, there was no price redetermination done in VA02 at all.
Is it standard SAP this redetermination for scale price in the order ?
If not, where can I check this specific in the programs?
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Price redetermination at order level

    Hi all,
I have a requirement to redetermine price conditions automatically whenever user changes shipping condition(header level) and changes partner (at item level) before saving an order.User dont want to use manual repricing.Which is the best way i can do this?
User exits:Userexit_newpricing_vbap and user exit_newpricing_vbkd(for header level field?) can be used for this? or any suitable pricing function module?
Whether these user exits can be pulled by perform function in user exit_save_document_prepare? Pls help
    regards
    jill

    Hi Jill,
As you say that your price needs to automatically change when the Shipping Conditions change , my suggestion would be why don't you include shipping conditions as one of the key combinations in your pricing condition tables?
Shipping conditions as such may not be existing in the list of allowed key fields but you can ask your ABAPER to include it in the list. Once included you can use the following criteria as your key combination
Sales Org + DC + Customer+ Shipping Point (can also be included in the allowed key fields if it's not there) or Shipping conditions and accordingly maintain the condition records.
Also as far as changes in the price if the customer changes is concerned you can always maintain separate condition records for different customers.
    Hope this helps,

  • Automatic Price Redetermination when header data is changed

    Hi All,
Scenario: Client is using customer condition group fields to maintain shipping method(VBAK-KVGR2) and freight terms(VBAK-KVGR3) in Sales Order Header. They have maintained condition records to calculate frieght charge for items. Requirement is whenever any of the above mentioned field is changed, freight condition has to redetermine automatically for the item.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Srini

    Hi Everyone,
As mentioned in your response, those steps are carried out already. When Sales Order is created for first time, the freight condition is calculated automatically using condition record and access sequence. Here the requirement, if Freight terms or Shipping method is changed later, the freight condition has to be redetermined automatically without manual price update. However I find an user-exit, which can redetermine the freight condition only when any of the line item details are changed.
I am not sure if there is any other user-exit available if header values are changed, the freight condition has to be redetermined.
    Thanks for your response.

  • Pricing Redetermination while releasing credit block of a 3rd party order

    Hello,
    The issue as is follows:-
I have a sales order, that is a third party order (PR created, the PO ..etc). The pricing is automatic, but can be edited in the condition screen of the sales order. Some times we maintian the price directly in the order (rarely the condition reocrds may not be existing), there are some manual conditios also, like insurance, transit charges ..etc. The issue happens when the sales order goes for a credit block.
We releases the credit block using VKM3, that moment the system crested the PR and re-determines the price. As I can see, the min condition, which I entered the price manually , change sback to ZERO (since the condtition reocrd is not maintained), but the manual conditions remains as it is.
Is there any way we can disable the price redetermination while releasing the credit block? Please let me know if you need  more details.
    Regards,
    SAM

It looks you can use USEREXIT_NEW_PRICING_VBAP in include MV45AFZB to control this behavior. The logic could be, during VKM*, don't carry out new pricing. You can discuss with you ABAP'er on exact coding.
    Regards,
OK I take one step back now..The system does the repricing, because the when the credit release happens, the ATP check is carried out again and the quantities are reconfirmed. I assume in your case, when the sales order goes into credit hold, the confirmed quantity is set to zero. You can make the system keep it confirmed for third party sales orders and not pass the requirements to purchasing. Check the routine assigned in t.code OVB8, I assume now in your system, it could be assigned with 101. Change that to 1 and test. If you want the system behaves differently as per business requirement, then copy this routine 1 and create a new one in t.code VOFM for example 901 add additional coding, then reassign in OVB8. Check the results and update the forum. By this way I believe, you need not use any user exit.

  • Copy control for Consignment

    Hi, Gurus.
I am Createing Consignment Issue Order(CI) with Ref to Consignment Fillup(CF) invoice
    CF-> CI
    Both having different pricing procedures.
When i create CI-Consignment Issue Order  system is redetermining  pricing, ie. few condition types are not getting copied to CI.
    what can be done?
    Reg,
    Amol

    Hello,
You are create Consignement Fill-Up Invoice?
I believe in standard we do not create Invoice at time of Consignment Fill-Up. Invoice is only created after Consignment Issue Delivery.
Anyways, regarding your Pricing issue, just whether some of the Conditions not copied in subsequent Document are manual Conditions. In case of Price redetermination only automatically determined (thru Condition Records) will appear in subsequent Doucment.
    Hope this helps,

  • Return sales order( with ref. to Invoice) need to have less quantity

    Hi Friends,
Here one issue is coming while creating a return sales order with ref. to  invoice.
    Example is:
In original invoice an article X is of price 10 having 10 quantity and hence total price 100.
but now customer wish to return only 5 articles and creating this Retun sales order with refernce to this invice
now in return sales order quantity is coming correct i.e 5 but the amount is still the same i.e 100.
But this should be 50( 5*10).
Please can someone help to find the reason why the price is not changing while quantity is changing.
I have already check the copy control but there also setting seems to be correct.
Also when i try to update the pricing via condition tab the price got changed. but that is manually.
    Thanks
    Punit.

    Thanks Jignesh,
But can you please tell which pricing input should be the best.
As "price redetermine" option can't be selected as price keep changing.
also i did that for "same price and redetermine tax" but doesn't seems to be working.
Please if you can suggest any option where the price of the article will be same (the old one when article was sold) as proportionate to quantity without redetermining the price.
like article x has qty 10 and price 10 hence amount 100
but later price of article change to 11
then if i chose redetermine price then for five article this will be 55 which is again wrong( it should be 50 as at the time of sale the price was 10)
Hope I made the issue clear enough. Which setting in pricing one can recommend.

  • Redetermining a price when opening an order.. pls help

    Hi friends,
I have for example created an order with one item, and its price i maintained in condition table is 100 USD.
So now when i create an order with this item the price will be 100 + tax. say total became 110.00USD.
    Now i saved the order.
I went and updated the condition record from 100.00 USD to 200.USD.
So now when i open the above created same order, i see the price still 110.00USD, it is not re determining the latest price from all cond records.
I know this is standard out of the box SAP delivered, but i need to redetermine the prices each time when that order gets opened.
I want this only to one specific order type.
I can achieve this in crmd_order, open the order go to conditions, there is a button, UPDATE PRICE -> recalculate all conditions, but techincal how to acheive this.
it wil be great help if you can pass on some inputs to me friends.
    I appreicate your help.
    thanks,

    Hi All,
I have a similar requirement, I need to redetermine pricing (Basically need to trigger BADI PRC_DATA_SOURCES) whenever there is change in subtotal 1 value on pricing screen with  "Retain Manual Changes" setting .
I have created an event AFTER_CHANGE on PRICING_I  and used FM:PRC_PD_ITEM_UPDATE_MULTI but its giving out an error on a condition which is configured as external data source.
Could you please help me or suggest any other approach for this issue.... Appreciate a quick reply..

  • Redetermination of prices in ECC

    HI all,
We have a very critical issue. The pricing in ECC is very complicated as it has CIN for determination of  taxes and excise,
We have got only Prices in CRM. As we need Java routines to get excise and taxes into CRM. So to resolve this issue, we thought to update the prices in R/3 and upload back to CRM. But we have to trigger manually to update the price in ECC. The client is not ready for that.
When any order is flown to ECC from CRM, the prices has to redetermine automatically by the system. Is that possible?
Help me out in solving the issue.
    Regards
    Yaswanth.K

    Hi Yashwanth,
In CRM Table SMOFPARSFA look for the below value, if this is not maintained you need to maintain below values in SMOFPARSFA table.
               Key =   R3A_SALES
               Parameter Name =   PRICINGTYPE
Parameter Value =  'G' . It just copies from CRM to ECC. It won't redetermine in ECC.
To redetermine in ECC, change the Paramter Value to any of the below one
A     Copy price components and redetermine scales
    B     Carry out new pricing
C     Copy manual pricing elements and redetermine the others
G     Copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes
    H     Redetermine freight conditions
    I     Redetermine rebate conditions
J     Redetermine confirmed purch. net price / value (KNTYP=d)
K     Adopt price components and cose. Redetermine taxes.
M     Copy pricing elements, turn value
N     Transfer pricing components unchanged, new cost
    O     Redetermine variant conditions (KNTYP=O)
R     Apply Price Parts and Bonus Conditions
U     Redetermine precious metal conditions (KNTYP=U)

  • Price condition equal to VPRS cost of goods

I have a senario ,which we will create sales orders for customers with sales price equals to the MAP(moving average price) at the  time when the SO being input .And the sales price in sales orders should be copy to the billing whether  the MAP has changed or not .
Now I have set up an pricing procedure ,which  use  VPRS  as the sales price condition type ,but here comes another question when I create billing according to the delivery . When I create the billing document ,the net value is defferent with the net value of the sales order ,because the MAP has changed during the goods issue.
Is there any idea that can make sure the sale price equals to the MAP , and the billing net value is same as sales order net value?
can you give me some advice ? thanks for you help!

    Hi,
The pricing type (Copy control)  is an extremely important field. It is worthwhile keeping this entry
in mind when creating your pricing condition types. As a rule of thumb, you should
have all item categories for a particular sales document with the same settings.
Generally, you may use pricing type B (carry out new pricing), G (copy pricing
elements unchanged and redetermine taxes), or C (copy manual pricing elements
    and redetermine the others).
When using condition B all manual pricing condition types are lost.
If you want to copy the sales order to the invoice without changing the sales order
conditions, use pricing rule G. This will copy the pricing conditions from the order into the
invoice without changing them, but will redetermine the taxes.

  • Replacement with zero price

Something went wrong to the system of my client and they reloaded old configuration from QA to PRD server.
    Situation before the system crash:
When you create a "replacement" order, the price of the item is "automatically" zero. It allows zero cost of material.
    Current situation:
When you create a "replacement" order, the price of the item is blank and it wont allow you to give zero value.
What should I check to put back the original configuration? Please help. Forgive me. I am new to SD.

    Hi Anwar
    Following is the standard process:
VOV8 Sales order type: Copy of SD / KN - The sales document category - I  , document pricing procedure - C, delivery type - LF, No billing type
    VOV4 Item category determination : SD+NORM=KLN
VOV7 Item category definition : copy of KLN- Not relevant for pricing/Pricing for free goods & Not relevant for billing
OVKK Pricing procedure determination:  Sales org + Dist Channel + Div + Doc Pr procedure (C) + Customer Pricing Procedure = Copy of RVCA01/RVCA02. define this procedure  as per your requirement in V/08 and get it determined here.
VTAA - Copy Control from RE to SD and OR to SD in standard: Item Category proposal  KLN and Pricing type B  So that it will redetermine price with your SDF pricing procedure.
    Regarding your error:
Check what pricing procedure is getting determined in OVKK and See the error condition type is marked as mandatory. Put a screenshot of your SDF pricing procedure for better understanding...

  • Price getting Re-determined in Credit Memo when PO is entered

    Hello all,
While creating a credit memo request from an invoice, the prices are copied perfectly, (In the copy control pricing type is D (copy price unchanged)). Now once I enter the PO number the prices of the items are getting re-determined. The items actually have bracket prices, so when each item price is getting redetermined the bracket is only applied to individual items and not to all the items as it should be because the scale formula is for monthly calculation. On close analysis I have found that all items having different delivery dates their prices are getting re-determined. I have checked it is not because of any user exit and its pure Standard SAP code that is doing this based on the XVBKD table, where if there is any entry at the item level, it is re-determining the price. Has anyone faced a similar situation, if yes pls let us know of any solution.
    Thanks in advance
    Anirban

    Dear Rupak,
Your price / Quantity is copying correctly from Billing means your Copy Control settings are proper.
Now while creating Credit Memo Request, after you change Quantity you are currently selecting Update & "B" - i.e. Carry out new pricing.
Here instead of "B" select "A".
A means - Copy price components and redetermine scales.
    Here the system:
    1. does not determine any new condition types
    2. and only redetermines the scale prices for changed quantities
I guess this will definitely solve your problem.
    Hope this helps...
    Thanks,

  • Automatic price update if key field values changed in sales order and bill

    Hi Experts,
    I have requirement as follows.
<b><u>Scenario: -</b> </u>We wanted carryout the pricing based on Incoterms, customer and material. I have created the condition table with these fields. And maintained the condition record. The values will flow to sales order without any problem.
    <b>
Problem: - </b>When we change the incoterms say for CIF to FOB the system should redetermine the price automatically, but this is not happening (If will redetermine only freight). If we carryout new pricing manually the right price will flow.
    <b>
Expectations: -</b> Is their any exit or any configuration setting where in system will redetermine the price automatically if we change the field value in sales order(For the field value it will be used to create condition table).
If anyone done this please help me with setting or Exit and code to enable us to come out from the situation.
We need this to happen while creating sales order as well as billing, Since @ billing prices will be redetermined.
Thanks in advance for the needful.

  • Redetermination of condition table for a condition type

    Hai Friends,
I have a quiery regarding condition table redetermination from order to delivery.I have pricing procedure in which "ZMRP" is the mrp price for calculating other condition types. Here i have scenario While raising sales order ZMRP condition type is determining with the combination of "Distribution channel and material".But when it comes to delivery i want that(i.e.,ZMRP condition type) to determine with the combination of "Material and batch".How to do this
    Thanks & Regards,
    A.sudhakar

    Hello Sudhakar,
As said above the pricing procedure for order and delivery documents are different, adding to that we can't transfer the condition value from order to delivery document and nor we use same pricing procedure in delivery document.
Order pricing procedure- calculates the prices for the material (price + tax - deduction)
Delivery pricing procedure - Calculates the prices for feright charges or postage charges.
the values for conditions in the billing document can flow from both order and delivery based on the copy control table.
price tax and deduction comes from order and feright comes from delivery document.
Note: we don't use delivery document pricing procedure to calculate the price i.e ZMRP in your case for the material.
    Hopes this helps

  • Auto update of PO price after del. date change

We use price date category=2 , "Delivery date" for our materials.  In ME22N, the delivery date is changed.  Message 06 484 appears at the bottom of the screen,
"Delivery date changed (new price determination process may be necessary)".
We want to have the new price determination automatically carried out when the delivery date changes in the PO. If you change other fields like purchasing org. or plant, the price is automatically redetermined.

It depends on the costing method of the org and the distribution details of the PO.
Typically, for avg. costing, it is not possible because that will alter the way the transaction was costed.
But for a std. costing org, it may be possible.
You will have to setup the test cases for your org and see.
