Pricing field INCLUDE

Hi! all..
We are adding a new pricing field, DESTINATION CITY, field - ORT01 from table KNA1.
I am listing out the steps below. Please look for it's correctness and let me know the missing steps and mistakes.
1. Create a data element ZZORT01 and choose TEXT35 as its domain. Save, check and activate ZZORT01.
(ORT01_GP is the data element of ORT01 and it's domain is TEXT35.)
2. Extend structure KOMP by including ZZORT01 to KOMPAZ. Also allocate the data element ORT01_GP to ZZORT01. Again save, check and activate.
3. Assign a value to the new field in the FORM routines for sales order processing using the user exit.The code look like this:
FORM USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP.
MOVE KNA1-ORT01 TO TKOMP-ZZORT01.
ENDFORM.
4. Finally, allocate the specifications in table T681F.
I think if I do the above, then I must be able to get the value in SOrd. during pricing.
Let me know guys if what I am doing is right. I am a bit woried about the data element, domain part.

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean to say that I cannot move values from master data tables for pricing during SOrd. creation? Ok, let me go ahead and do what you've adviced. I need the address of the ship-to party. What special arrangements I've to do to move the SH city to KOMP? Please help me out.
Also, I have one more question, infact I've already mailed about it in the topic PRICING FIELD ERROR.
Anyways, we are trying to use the field TRAGR-transportation group(once again in our SOrd. pricing) but I don't see it anywhere in the SOrd. But it appears in LIKP, LIPS. So if I suppose that I can't move the value from a master data table (MARA for this field) and use the field in SOrd. pricing am I right? Again I would like to know how to get around this?

Dear SD colleagues,
We have scenario of maintaining pricing for Lower level BOM component.
Like:
Base price - 100/-
When BOM explodes - 95/-.
For this, I have taken ABAPer help and inseted a Z field for Item category in Pricing field catalog.
Then, a new condition table is been generated using ZPSTYV and included in Access sequence. For Base price condition type, we have maintained record in combination with ZBOM-Item category for lower level BOM item.
A new pricing routine is created in VOFM for Condition value and same is been assigned to Condition type as Alternative calculation type in pricin gprocedure contro data.
Whe I create Sales order, value based on ZBOM is being pciked up by system.

I have a requirement to determine the pricing based on "Discount Code", which is not a standard SAP field and i would like to have this as a custom field and linked to customer in custom table.
Question: When i add a new custom field and custom table for pricing, what are all the things i need to do in terms of ABAP.
As per my knowledge, below are the steps...Please check and confirm my understanding is correct and let me know if i miss anything.
1. Create a new field
2. Create Custome Table
3. Add field to Field Catlogue KOMG
4. Add Field to KOMP (as this is item field)
5. Add code in userexit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP to make the data avaialable - Sales Order

How to add standard field in the CRM Pricing field catalog?

Hello All
I am working on CRM 7.0 , I have a problem with the CRM pricing field catalog that when I am trying to add new field in the catalog the system gives me an error message that the entries should be in the allowed namespace (Y Or Z) but the field I am trying to add in the field catalog is standard field. What should I do to add this field in the field catalog?
The field is : BATCH_ID with data element CRMT_BATCH_ID

CF9.02 multi-instance 500 Error processing form with over 50 fields included

It has been said that forms do not have a limitation in the number of fields included in the form. I have run into an annoying problem when the form reaches 50 or more fields as the form is being used to do a Role Call for individuals attending a meeting. The same code works just fine with smaller numbers of fields and it simply has checkboxes for the ones who are attending. It processes this into a 2012 SQL Server database. I have attempted to use cfform which did not make any difference in the results. I have code to send to anyone that wants to seriously look into this issue.

The Post Parameter Limits the number of parameters in a post request. The default value is 100. If a post request contains more parameters as specified, the server doesn't process the request and throws an exception. This process protects against DoS attack using Hash Collision. This setting is different from Post Size Limit (ColdFusion Administrator > Settings > Maximum size of post data). This setting isn't exposed in the ColdFusion Administrator console. Customers who want to change postParameterLimit, go to {ColdFusion-Home}/lib for Server Installation or {ColdFusion-Home}/WEB-INF/cfusion/lib for Multiserver or J2EE installation. Please try the following:-
1. Open file neo-runtime.xml
2. Locate "<var name='postSizeLimit'><number>100.0</number></var>"
3. Add "<var name='postParametersLimit'><number>100.0</number></var>" below the above code. You can change 100 with the desired number.

As said above, follow the menu path to reach the Field catalog for Condition tables-
VOk0- from Menu Environment - Condition table- Maintian Field catalog,
Here place the cursor,on one of the given filed & choose "F4"- you will observe the list of allowed for fields for pricing.
if you find the ,desired field in this,selection, Now click on "New entries"- & maintain that fields' tech.name.
or
if you dont find the field, which means in Std SAP has nto provided , desired field, so you need to create/add this field in field catalog & move to Pricing structures.

Pricing field - customer group

Hi, I can find the 5 customer condition groups in the 'allowed field' for pricing table. But when I create a table to include these fields, I cannot see them.
Please help on how to add these fields to a new table.. or is there an exisitng one?

I have also seen that all 5 customer group is in "Allowed feild".
I simple go to create condition table > Press page down (Just once)> customer group was there.

Through User Exit you get this requirement plese take help of ABAPer to activate the user exit according to your requirement.
Try With this User Exit
Program MV45AFZZ
USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
This user exit can be used to modify the attributes of the screen fields.
To do this, the screen fields are allocated to so-called modification groups 1 - 4 and can be edited together during a modification in ABAP. If a field has no field name, it cannot be allocated to a group.
The usage of the field groups (modification group 1-4) is as follows:
Modification group 1: Automatic modification with transaction MFAW
Modification group 2: It contains 'LOO' for step loop fields
Modification group 3: For modifications which depend on check tables or on other fixed information
Modification group 4: is not used
The FORM routine is called up for every field of a screen. If you require changes to be made, you must make them in this user exit.
This FORM routine is called up by the module FELDAUSWAHL.
See the Screen Painter manual for further information on structuring the interface.

Resource Related Billing - DP81/82/DP91 - Exit to transfer pricing fields

Dear SAP Experts,
I'm facing this requirement where by I needed to push some information from a custom field in a WBS Project into Quotations and Billing Requests created during DP81/DP82 and DP91.
These fields will then be a parameter for pricing and therefore will be extended in KOMK and KOMP.

Want to know how pricing condition works?how to pick unique records from table konv ? how to find all the key ?

Pricing consists of the Pricing procedures, <b>Condition types</b>, Access Sequences and Condition Tables.
Condition Types are like for Basic price, discound, TAX , VAT different types of conditions are required.
Check the Master Tables T685,T685T, T683, T681...
All the prices with related to conditon types are stored in KONV and KONP tables
we derive them using the KNUMV field from VBAK or VBRK tables
<b>You have to maintain the condition records based on scales.
In the condition type customisation,
1. Maintain scale basis as quantity
2. Maintain scale type as D Graduated to Interval scale
When you are maintaining condition records in VK11
in the menu Go to---Scales and maintain the values accordingly, as per the quantity</b>

How to show exact value in ALV output field (including space at the start)

This is my Scenerio:
In the output the field value (char type) shows "6-10-3", the actual field value has a space before the 6 " 6-10-3".
How to incorporate this, any suggestions?

Custom edit form for my Wiki Page library with only "Page Name" field included

I want to create a new custom edit form for my Wiki page library, and to only allow users to edit the Page name inside the edit form. now i created a new Edit form using SharePoint Designer , and i select the Enterprisewiki content type for it , which generates

so from the above markup the name field is not part of the edit form,, i think this is because the Name is part of the Document content type and not part of the enterprisewiki content type .. so is there a way to add the name field to the edit
form ?.
second question, the edit form will show all the content type fields such as ; standard, document type, department , title (display in search), etc so what is the best way to remove these fields from the custom edit form ?

This can only be done by adding VBScript to the form. It would basically be:

... where "P.2" would be what you named the page you want to display first.

Regarding screen fields include in purchase order transaction

I need to add new field in purchase order transaction ( me21n, me22n, me23n ) . i have added the new field in screen painter. when i was creating the field and then i made the field to refer from dictionary , when i refer from dictionary the field is showing in non-editable format.how to make the field as editable format to enter the value.what is the settings behind it please explain.
for your information i have added one more field without refering dictionary it is accepting inputs .

we have already done the changes as you mentioned. but still we are facing the same problem of inactive state on the newly created field.
kindly suggest any other settings to be done for dictionary related fields.. (we have enabled the dictionary related option in the screen field properties menu)
otherwise provide step by step setting for new field creation.....(se51)

Update project fields including custom fields

Hello forum members,
i am trying to write a utility that would migrate project data from Oracle database into Project Server by using CSOM. However, SetCustomFieldValue() method is not working for me. I am getting the following 'Microsoft.ProjectServer.Client.ProjectCreationInformation'
does not contain a definition for 'SetCustomFieldValue'. Any ideas? Is there a better way to do this with PSI? I would appreciate some code samples.

Pricing: field CONTDURA (Condition Term) pass wrong value to userexit

I use field "CONTDURA" in my Condition Value User Exit. But value of this field always remains the same, unless I save business document (for example, order).
The following describes the situation and the corresponding values of the field:
1) If I create new order, then value of field "CONTDURA", that transfered to user exit is default value.
2) If I change existing order, then value of field "CONTDURA" that transfered to user exit is saved value.
3) If I create or change order and change manually value of field "CONTDURA", then value transfered to user exit is the same as in paragraph 1) or 2). But this is wrong. Should be transfered field value that the user entered manually.
I need the user to make changes in field "CONTDURA", and condition value (dependent on that field's value) сhanged immediately.
Can anyone help with it?
