Pricing for elite members

I was going through the black friday ad and saw this item.

Currently this item is listed at 749.99 and the black friday ad lists this item for the same price as of now.  What's the point of having this item listed at the same price now and also on black friday?  Am I seeing this price because I'm elite plus member already?  I'm very confused as to the logic of the pricing.  Can someone explain?

Welcome to the forum. Every year I look forward to the Black Friday deals. I carefully check out all the ads, and plan my shopping strategy depending on what great deals I want to take advantage of before they are gone. I can understand your confusion at discovering that the washer was the same price on BestBuy.com as in the black Friday ad. 
After further investigation it seems that appliance is on sale for this week. After that, you can expect it to be on sale again during the Black Friday week deals. That item is not part of our doorbuster sales or early deals for elite, and elite plus customers, so definitely keep an eye out for special notifications on other great deals coming your way!

  • Points policy for non elite members stinks

    I made an $800 purchase two weeks ago and just got $80 in Reward Points.  I went to my local store to make a purchase that was only $40, and the employee that was handling it said he was sorry but I would lose the remaining $40 on the reward certificate as they cannot give change, credit, or any type of refund for purchases made on a certificate. 
    Basically, I was going to lose $40 if I made that purchase.  He then suggested that I login to the BB website and modify my points certificate amounts to smaller amounts that came closer to the amount of my purchase. 
    However, when I got online I couldn't figure out how to do that so I called their Help number.  The first person I spoke with had such a TERRIBLE accent that I couldn't understand her so I disconnected the call and redialed.   Please note I have worked for computer companies that employ people from dozens of countries around the world and I have NEVER had this kind of an accent issue!  This woman was NOT ready to answer support calls in English.
    The next person I spoke to told me what I wanted to do was not possible, and when I asked for his supervisor he put me on hold for 30 minutes.  Funny.  Real funny.  Hey conspiracy theorists, was this a ploy to get me to drop off and forget it?
    The 3rd person I spoke to put me on hold and spoke to his supervisor himself, and came back to tell me that if I were to spend an additional $800 I would be an "elite" member and therefore have the ability to manage my certificates, delete them, and reissue them in smaller amounts.  Seriously?  Drop another $800 to save $40?  Wow.  Was this a support call or a sales call?
    This fellow also told me that the rewards were computer generated as soon as they were eligible to be issued, and that customers basically have NO way to control the amounts of the certificate sizes (unless they're elite members) so they either have to be lucky enough to want to spend the exact amount of the certificate, ADD more of their own money make up the difference, or LOSE money by wasting a larger certificate on a smaller purchase.
    That's a pretty crappy way for BB to save money - by making it impossible for us to spend so they recover it anyways, or having customers buy stuff they don't want or need.
    I'm not impressed Best Buy.  Your CEO just stated in an interview that BB was being used as a "showroom" for internet purchasers and wanted to keep us in the store so we would purchase from BB.  This is not the way to keep happy and loyal customers.    Once I am done with these points I am done with Best Buy.

    The My Best Buy™ Program Terms are fairly specific when it comes to redeeming a certificate; however, I can imagine feeling frustrated if it came off like we were more concerned with trying to sell you on reaching Elite status rather than answering your questions.  For a certificate to be redeemed, a purchases pre-tax total must be equal to or greater than the value of the certificate.  A certificate does not have any cash value and change cannot be issued.
    I used the email address you registered with the forum to review your My Best Buy™ account, and from what I can see, your certificate preference is currently set at $5.  This means that you are going to automatically be issued certificates once you have at least 250 points.  If you did recently make a purchase that put you way over 250 points, then you would have been issued a certificate with a higher value.  Once a certificate has been issued, the value cannot be changed.  You can select a different preference by logging into BestBuy.com and clicking on "Rewards" under the My Best Buy™ tab.

  • Best Buy 100% Price Match Guarantee FAIL for Elite Plus member!!!

    So during the Black Friday weekend I purchased a Dyson vacuum at a store.  I understand that Best Buy does not match pricing DURING Black Friday weekend.  So on 12/15 Amazon had the vacuum on sale for $26 less than what I paid.  Again, this is not Black Friday weekend but the item was purchased over Black Friday weekend.  So I called in for Best Buy to match the price.  I spoke with someone who seemed like temp help.  It did not sound like she was in a call center and she didn't know much and seemed to be IM'n with someone to get answers.  After initially telling me they would not match the price because the item was purchased during Black Friday I explained that it was no longer Black Friday and Best Buy policy does not obsolve them from matching prices for the next 5-6 weeks (the return date is 1/15/2015) from all items purchased over Black Friday weekend.  If so, no one would buy during Black Friday.  She said she would submit the price match and I would get an email letting me know if it has been approved.  I was patient and waited 2 weeks and nothing.  I called back and was told that the price match department was swamped and to please be patient.  So I waited till today to call back for the return date is in 2 days and still no price match email.  I am now being told that Best Buy only matches their own pricing if not at the time of sale AND they only match the price that same day when they can confirm the price. (which makes sense)  I'm also being told my price match was never sent to the correct department so it has been sitting in case # purgatory for the past month.  Why is any of this my fault?!  I spend over $3500 per year, year after year and I'm supposed to get 'Elite' service.  I know more than the people I'm speaking with on the phone!  I called in with a legit lower price, waited patiently for Best Buy to match, have now spoken with 3 different reps, been told something different each time about the price match policy (every time they were wrong) and now I'm being told because it wasn't matched when they could confirm the price they won't match the price?!  What am I missing?!
    Total Price Match FAIL for Elite Plus member!!!  I can only image how people that aren't Elite are treated! :-)

    hi,
    check this configuation steps.
    1. define the condition type from NA00 to Za00.
    2. define access sequence by selecting new entries as Zaoo and maintian the tables and fields.
    3. linK the access seq to ur condition type.
    condition type   (created)                    access sequence (created)
    ZA00                                                     ZA00
    4. Maintain the free goods determination procedure from the std. one NA0000 and copy it as Za0000. and maintain ur condition type in the procedure.
    5. after all maintain these free goods procedure to ur sales area.
    ex: in normal scenario u will be assigning ur sales area to ur standard pricing procedure as
    S.orgD.ChDivA1 + Pr00. but for the free goods u have to maintain as it is to ur std. pricing procedure except document pricing procedure as C - denotes free goods.
    6. finally maintain condition records thru VBN1. (there would be a option as inclusive and exclusive). u opt it according to ur requirements.
    definetely if you follow those steps, 100% error will not throw while u r creating the sales order.

  • Have Adobe Standard CS 5 (Student), and would like to upgrade to Creative Cloud (Non-Student) - won't accept my serial number for special pricing for existing users

    I currently use Adobe Standard CS 5. It was bought with the Education discount. I would like to upgrade to Creative Cloud and see that they have special pricing for existing customers that use past versions of Creative Suite. I am no longer in Education, so I will have to buy a full version. This is fine, but it won't accept my serial number for the discounted pricing. Is there something else I should be doing?

  • Different pricing  for same material in 2 line items

    Dear All ,
    In a sales order  i have two line items of same material . One with the item category TAN and another REN . line item with TAN  is the normal sale item while as  second line item is  for Return of same materail . .
    Now i want Different pricing for the Normal sale item and Return item in single sales order . The pricing has to come automaticaly through the condition records
    Please suggest me how to do it

    Hi,
    Add the item category (field name: PSTYV) to the allowed fields in the pricing condition table.
    create new conditon table include the field item category.
    create a access seq that includes your new condition table
    Assign that access seq to the condition type which is assigned to the pricing procedure.
    create the condition records.
    This will solve your problem.
    Note:
    How will your customers accept if you reduce the price while returning?
    Otherwise create new discount type that including the condition table which contains the field item categry.
    And create condition record for that item category.

  • Pricing for 4 and 4s

    I'm getting very frustrated as the pricing for the 4 and 4s is yet to be changed to the announced lower prices.  Other providers had the new prices in their systems early yesterday... I handle a large corporate account and have many users wanting to take advantage of the price drops.  I'm a "usual" huge VZW fan, however, I can't imagine why in the world this hasn't been addressed yet, see no good reason or any explanation for it and find myself extremely disappointed w/VZW right now - EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED...
    VZW - you are making my job more difficult - not happy

    I was told yesterday by a VZW customer service person (through the "Chat Now" feature on www.vzw.com), that the price was supposed to change yesterday "but it didn't." 
    "James" wouldn't give me any more information than that.
    The 4S is already $99 at Best Buy, but my plan is $50 more at BB than with VZW, so I'm obviously waiting for the price to drop with VZW.  Silly that they'd wait until the 5 comes out.....especially when they're telling people it was supposed to happen yesterday and when other retailers are already offering it at $99.

  • Project Lite License for Team Members not giving access to the PWA

     Hi there - So here is my issue I am having with Project Online 2013. I am new to project server ( I mean project online) & really having fun with it but MSFT can make it a bit easier to the Users.
    So we brought the following 2 licenses
    1) Project Lite for Team Members ( Brought this license after getting answer from previous question posted by me at  Previous
    thread )
    2) Project Online with Project Pro for Office 365.
    So I am able to access the PWA for my Portfolio Managers, Project Managers etc., Now I tried giving access to the Team Members and as directed by MSFT I added them to the group "Team Members for Project Web App ".
    I created some tasks in project schedule and assigned the tasks to the Team Members and published them.
    Now when My Team Members try too access the PWA Site , they are not able to access it.
     1 ) When trying to access the   ( http://tenant.sharepoint.com/PWA/Default.aspx)   which is the home page  I am seeing a webpart error with correlation ID.
     2) When trying to access the  Task through (http://tenant.sharepoint.com/PWA/Tasks.aspx ) where you see the tasks, the page gives me " Sorry you don't have access to this page"
    So now my question is how do I give access to my Team Members so that they can work on the tasks assigned to them in the PWA. 
    Any help is highly appreciated.

  • Querying for the members of a group using the PRC

    I've been combing through the PRC API for a way to query for the members of a group (not the ACL, but the member users and groups).
    I can't find anything that seems to do this for Plumtree 5.0x using the PRC. Am I missing something or is this just not implemented? Seems like a major oversight to me. If any Plumtreevians are listening, can I add a feature request for those methods in your next release of the WS Server?

    If you go into the Calendar section and select the Edit option for that calendar and then change the permissions for that calendar people should be able to subscribe to it.

    Well I am new to SD configuration and question that I am going to ask might be just a seconds task but any help to get me kick started would be highly appreciated.
    Well the client I am working for has 4 distribution channels configured and now my task is to add a new distribution channel to the existing enterprise structure and I have successfully managed to do that and now I can create and extend customer master for this new distribution channel.
    The  next task on hand is that to configure pricing for sales areas including this distribution channel. Pricing proceedure to be used in this sales areas is already defined just can't get a clue as to where to do the settings so that i can create sales documents against such sales areas as well
    right now it just gives me an error something like "No pricing procedure for this sales area"

    You create PP in spro > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Pricing > Pricing Control > Define and Assign Pricing Procedures > Maintain Pricing Procedures
    You can't attach PP to specific plant. Pricing Procedure is determined thru trx OVKK. The defining parameters for pricing procedure determination are:
    1. SalesOrg
    2. Distribution Channel
    3. Division
    4. Document Procedure (defined in Sales doc\Billing doc maintenance) 
    5. Pricing procedure assigned to customer (defined in customer master)
