Pricing Issues for X201/X201s

Looking for some advice on what to do, I placed an online order yesterday morning for the Lenovo X201.
It came up with an eCoupon which was supposed to provide a 20% discount, but the order went through with only a 10% discount.
Upon doing another quote later that night the cart shows the full 20% discount, so I've been over charged by 10%.
The coupon ends on Sunday and I have not been able to contact anyone at Lenovo on the phones as their offices are closed.
I have tried to log into the website to see the status of order incase I can cancel and reorder but it is giving "order servers are down".
Further to this there seems to be a new eCoupon out today 'AUCART260210' advising 25% discount on X201(s), again which ends on Sunday.
Can you please advise what Lenovo can do about this pricing discrepancies?

Called up Lenovo this morning (Monday) and they were able to cancel my original order and reprocess it at the new price.  I created a quote as well as kept a saved cart, they could not see the quote in their systems as the Orders Servers were down over the weekend. But they ened up processing it with the saved cart.

    To select split valuation ( 'OMWC'), proceed as follows:
    1. Determine the valuation categories and valuation types that are allowed for all valuation areas:
    global valuation categories via menu "Goto --> Global Categories"
    global valuation types via menu "Goto --> Global Types"
    2. Allocate the valuation types to the valuation categories.
    a) Select "Goto --> Global Categories".
    b) Position the cursor on a valuation category and select
    "Goto --> Global Categories --> Assignments --> 'Types->Category'".
    c) Activate the valuation types you want.
    3. Determine the local valuation categories for each valuation area.
    a) Select "Goto --> Local definitions".
    b) Position the cursor on a valuation area and select

  • Pricing issue in sales order

    Hi All,
    We are facing pricing issue for few sales orders.
    The pricing is being carried for  line items even though there is valid condition record exist at pricing date of line items .
    For example we are creating order on 26.10.2010 and Requested delivery date is 01.01.2011.
    The pricing date at line tem is 01.01.2011 and condition record is valid only till 31.12.2010.
    Still pricing is carried for line item and it is not for all the sales orders .
    So could please advice how to overcome this kind of errors?

    We are again facing pricing issue in sales order,the pricing date of line item is not in synchronization with the condition record validity date.
    Due to that incorrect pricing is being carried out .
    But when we do repricing the error is getting fixed.
    So could you please let us what could be the root cause for this error ?
    This is not happening for all the orders,for only few orders it happens.
    If we create new order for  same sold to ,sales doc type the error is not occuring.

  • Performance issue: Adding a new product line to existing Quote calls pricing engine for existing line a well

    I need some assistance for my below query...
    If there are already existing some product/quote lines on the quote and then we try to add another new product/quote line to this quote , then  it is taking more time to add the product. As per my understanding it is calling the Pricing engine for the existing line as well. How can we avoid the pricing engine call for the existing lines.
    There are some parameters which we are setting as mentioned below :
    l_control_rec.header_pricing_event := 'BATCH' -- What does this mean when we set to batch
    l_control_rec.price_mode := 'ENTIRE_QUOTE'; -- (possible values could be CHANGE_LINES , QUOTE_LINE)

    means lets say we do the Pricing Engine call only for the Newly Added quote line but not do it for the Entire Quote again and again..
    Now the other question here could be how do we finally synch the line level price values for all the quote lines upto the Quote header level in form of Totals (TOTAL_LIST_PRICE,TOTAL_TAX, TOTAL_SHIPPING_CHARGE, SURCHARGE, TOTAL_QUOTE_PRICE in aso_quote_headers_all table) ??
    Also is there a way that we don't do the Freight Charge calculation and Tax calculation (means we skip this completely) while adding products to the quote but do it at a later point when doing the Submit to Order functionality.
    Could someone please help with these pricing related parameters and modes to be used in order to get around this performance issue

    Activate your Controlling area as usual and Cost Centers and Profit Center , You can assign an internal order for the particular product line for what you are seeing and can collect the costs of that particular product line exclusively.

  • Additional Internal SDD Drive Possible for X201?

    I have an X201 with the 500GB HDD. Is it possible to add an SDD drive internally, in addition to the 500GB HDD?
    I don't want to replace to 500GB HDD drive and definitely don't want to reinstall Windows 7 on a SDD.
    I do want a faster drive for processing, as in opening and saving, large (500MB-2GB) Photoshop files.  The 8GB of memory is plenty, but the drive access is slow. I'm hoping I can put my Photoshop files on an internal SDD.
    btw, I've rejected the option of adding a USB 3.0 Express Card to connect to an external SDD. I think I'll lose too much time going through the USB.

    you can plug in a ssd drive into the expresscard, but that is not a bootable device. Other than that not really.
    X220 is capable of accepting mSATA SSD and normal SSD, so you can get two drive running.
    For X201, you would need a ultrabase x200 if you want to put another drive to the laptop. i.e. put the platter hdd into ultrabay slim slot, and put the ssd into the main hdd slot.

    I would like to ask a question concerning my CC membership.
    I’ve started 1 and a half year ago by paying 29,99 € for the entire CC (all programs). Now, it’s 49,99 € and I’m having a really difficult time to keep it this way. I’m living in a country which is in the middle of crisis and my profession as a graphic designer, is not an exception to reduced spendings on advertising.
    My question is, can I have a decreased / cheaper monthly priced membership for some time, by keeping active only Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and Acrobat? I don’t need for now the other apps. Can I have a membership plan only for those applications? I would very much appreciate your respond, a help and a solution to my issue.

  • Excise Pricing procedure for Stock Transport Order in MM  with TAXINN

    I am an SD guy running STO  from manufacturing plant to sales depot
    AND not able to create JEX proforma excise invoice from NL
    to TEST my configuration, I created excise invoice in J1IS with respect to goods issue from NL from UB  means configuration is ok
    BUT base amount in J1IS is coming as zero because of missing excise conditions in MM  STO pricing procedure
    CAN anybody give me a sample EXCISE pricing procedure for STO
    AND  do i need to create records for the condition types in FV11 OR  MEK1 please clarify
    I know that calculation type 362 attached to BASB in TAXINN has something to do with this
    I am able to see chapter ID in J1IS
    And the relation between condition types in TAXINN and excise pricing procedure for STO
    And I am able to create excise invoice in J1IG with zero excise values
    I also maintained pricing procedure determination for JEX in OVKK that is document pricing procedure N pricing procedure JINSTOCK
    I think my explanation is sufficient enough

    Here u not need to do VL10b.just follow this steps and try.
    In PO,Document type is UB and Item Category is U.
    After creating PO,In MB!B with reference that PO number and using movt type 541
    then u can see that stock in Transit.Now u do GR with respect to PO number.

  • Pricing condition for Taxes in R/3 not being calculated.

    We have SRM4.0 in classic mode with R/3 4.6C. In SRM we configured Tax calculation is in R/3. When creating the shopping cart, EBP calls R/3 via RFC for the Tax % and displays the tax information in the cart successfully. The cart is saved and the completed PO is created in R/3. However, our pricing condition for tax, at Pur.Org/Material group in R/3 does not get calculated - so in the item condition screen, no tax is calculated. If i go into the change PO and in Item conditions/Update, (G-Copy Pricing and Redetermine taxes) then it is OK (but this is not ideal). When i do an RFC trace, using RSRFCTRC, i can see my Pur Org, Material Group and Tax code all being passed to R/3. Also, when i do a manual SE37 test on funct.mod. BAPI_PO_CREATE, it does calculate tax correctly - i am stuck - any help appreciated. rgs Adam

  • Issue for Cash Discount

    Dear All
    I have an issue for Customer Cash Discount. Suppose a customer sales order has been generated for Rs 100. Now in our sales order pricing procedure, we have created a discount of 2%, which would generate a net value of 98 on which sales tax is calculated. Now the Business requirement is that, if with in 4 days the payment is not recvd, we have to reverse the discount granted in the pricing procedure along with the pro rata sales tax on it. We are not booking the discount in the sales order as an expense in FI.
    In Standard, system proposes a cash discount, while booking the incoming payment. however, here the tax part has to be considered for a discount, which has not been booked.

    I have checked that. But in my case, discount is only for information as a part of SD Princing Procedure. It Does not make any accounting entry and is granted by default to every customer, before I do billing. If the customer does not pay in time, system has to pass a debit memo automatically for the discount amount and the pro rata tax calculations on it.
    In Standard Payment terms, the system posts an entry to "Cash Discount" expense account in case the payment is recvd in time of four days.

    My requirement was to trigger new pricing on change of Delivery Date. I have to retrigger pricing only if there is any change in fields EKKO-INCO1, EKKO-INCO2, EKPO-MATNR and EKPO-ADRNR.
    For the same I have implemented three badi's and one pricing routine.
    BADI's are -
    <b>ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE</b> - <b><u>Method DEFINE_CALCTYPE</u></b> : Setting the Flag CH_X_LF_CALCTYPE If there is difference between the old value and new value of Fields mentioned above.
    <b>ME_CHECK_ALL_ITEMS</b> - <b><u>Method RECALCULATE_ITEMS</u></b> Setting the Flag CH_X_RECALCULATE.  If there is change in the Incoterms field at PO Header.
    In these BADI's I am checking if there is any change in the above mentioned fields. It retrigger the Pricing.
    I have implemented one more <b>BADI (ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST-Method PROCESS_SCHEDULE)</b> which will trigger the pricing process, If we change the delivery date.     intercompany billing is one of the scenario.
    Business case: -
    Customer orders goods to company code/Sales organization A (Eg.4211/4211).Sales org 4211 will accept and punch the order in the system with sold to party as end customer code in the system. Company code/sales org B (Eg.4436) will deliver the goods to end customer and raise an intercom any billing on 4211 with reference to delivery. This can happen only after 4211 raises invoice to his end customer to whom the material has been delivered by 4436.
    SPRO Customization required:-
    1. Assign plant of delivering company code (Eg.SI81) to sales org/distribution channel combination of ordering company code (Eg.4211/RT)
    2. Maintain intercom any billing type as IV for sales document type OR
    3. Assign Organizational Units By Plant (Eg.SI81/4211/RT/11)
    4.Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization (Eg.4436 will create customer master for 4211 company code and that number will be maintained in this relationship:-4211/231)
    5. Automatic posting to vendor account (Optional)
    6. Maintain pricing procedure determination for 4211/RT/A/1/RVAA01-For customer sales and billing
    Maintain pricing procedure determination for 4436/RT/A/1/ICAA01-For intercompony billing
    Master data to be maintained:-
    1. Create end customer master in company code/sales org 4211/RT/11
    2. Create customer master for 4211 company code/sales org in 4436/RT/11
    3. Maintain PR00 as price for end customer-Active in RVAA01
    4. Maintain PI01 as price which has to be paid to 4436-Statistical in RVAA01
    5. Maintain IV01 as inter-company Price-Active in ICAA01
    Process:-
    1. Create OR with sold to party as end customer.
    2. Plant to be selected is delivering plant belonging to different company code. With this selection system will treat this order as intercomany sales.
    3. Pricing procedure is RVAA01
    4. With reference to this order delivery will be created from the delivering plant and post the goods issue for this delivery.
    5. Ordering sales org will create billing document F2 with reference to delivery for end customer.
    6. Delivering sales org will create intercompany billing IV with reference to delivery document.

    Hi,
    I believe  you have two plants  & plant 1201     is receiving plant where you create STO and plant 1101 is the issuing plant,so material will be valuated at the valuation price of the material in the issuing plant only. If any other price components  there, you need take those component to separate G/L account by having an accrual key in  STO Schema.
    If you have other pricing components, better chose correct STO process and for you may be go for STO with Delivery  process.
