Pricing procedure changes from R/3 to CRM

Hi gurus,
We want to change the pricing procedures in r/3 which involves changes to "From" and "to" calculation  and as the same pricing procedures are being used in CRM, how do we synchronise the same,
Does system automatically replicate the changes ?
We have to manually make the changes in CRM for the same ?
Looking for valuable advise and suggestions gurus,
Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,
Gopio.

Hello Gopio
It is quite a while since I worked on a CRM project. These are basically middleware transactions which you use to transfer Customizing, Master and Transactional data from R/3 to CRM.  Banking on my memory, here is the answer:
Menu Path: While in SAP Easy Access screen, choose Architecture and Technology/ Middleware ® Data Exchange ® Initial Load ® Start.
T code: R3AS.
Then you have to monitor the status of the transfer and check if the transfer is complete by using
Menu Path: Architecture and Technology/ Middleware/Monitoring , Data Exchange/ Monitor Objects or T code R3AM1.
Finally use tcode SLG1 ( options: object: COND_EXCHANGE, subobject: CUSTOMIZING), to display a log for the data transfer.
Hope this helps.

  • Pricing procedure change

    HI expert,
Please let know which scenario at the time of creation sales order having different pricing procedure and at time of creation of billing document having different  Pricing.
    Best Regards
    Shashi Singh

    Hi,
The variant in Pricing between BILLING & SALES will be only at the INTERCOMPANY BILLING SCENARIO
In the Intercompany billing process, The Customer places the order with Company code A , as the company A does not have the stock of the material it places it with the Company code B ( here both are under same Company and these should be considered as COMPANY CODES)
Company code directly delivers the goods to Customer  and Company A bill to customer and Company B inturn bills to Company A.
Billing of Company B to Company A will be done with reference to the same Delivery document as it was done for General Billing ( from Company A to Cstomer)
Pricing procedure assigned to these is done in OVKK with change in SALES DOCUMENT PRICING PROCEDURE & BILLING DOCUMENT PRICING PROCEDURE.
For Billing between these two company code, you have to define an INTERCOMPANY CUSTOMER and assign this to the Company A.
Apart from the Intercompany process, you can also define different pricing procedures as per your client requirement.

  • Pricing procedure  change the condition value

    Hi,
My pricing procedure determines the Tax in %basis. Now i have a rewuirement wherein i should be able to enter the amount in AMOUNT COLOUMN in condition tab. This value should be the condition Value for the condition type.
Now my pricing procedure doesnt allow me to make any changes and the condition type is greyed out. how can i calulate the tax in amount instead of % and be able to enter the value manually?
    Thanks,
    Challa

    Hi Challa,
Price can be maintained either on percentage basis or on amount basis.
So you have to make changes in condition type to convert it from percentage to amount.
Go to IMG u2013 sales and distribution u2013 master data u2013 basic function u2013 pricing u2013 pricing control u2013 define condition type.
Select maintain condition type from the options.
Now select your condition type and click on detail.
Change the calculation type from A (percentage) to B (Fixed amount) and save it.
Now go to VK11 and maintain the new condition record for that condition type.
Now create the sales order and go to condition tab and check out the pricing it will be amount.
Please do this method if you find any difficulty then tell us.
    Regards
    Raj.

  • MM Pricing procedure change

    Hi All,
Can you help with a problem I am facing. I have the requirement to add a new condition type to a MM pricing procedure. Upon recomendation from SAP I beleive that I should do this by copying the old one to a new code. My problem is this. We currently use scheduling agreements which contain the pricing procedure in EKKO. So my new pricing procedure will not take effect until I create an entirely new SA (which is not an option at the moment).
    Any ideas?????

    Hi,
In the existing SA's u can use the new condition type u create unless subsequent transactions have happened for the SA.
Delete the existing condition type & add the new one.
If subsequent transactions have been done, delete the existing one & prepare the new one, if the pricing is getting picked for subsequent transactions from SA.

  • Existing SD Pricing procedure change

    Hi Gurus.
Pls clear my doubt for SD pricing procedure.
As of now i have maintained one pricing procedure(ZIND1) to one particular distribution channel(40).Already lot of invoiced was processed for the same. Now my doubt is can i create and assign new pricing procedure(ZIND2) for the above mentioned Dis channel(40), meanwhile how to process the Old sales order/ Partially delivered sales order which might have the Old pricing procedure (ZIND1).
    Waiting for your valuable replies.
    Regs,
    SR.

    Hi,
In general, we recommend that you proceed as follows to change pricing
    procedures:
    1.  Copy the pricing procedure that you want to change with a different
        name.
    2.  Make the required changes in the copied pricing procedure. The
        original pricing procedure remains unchanged.
    3.  Save your entries.
    4.  Use transaction OVKK (Pricing Procedures: Determination in Sales
Docs.) to assign the new and the changed pricing procedure to the
        required business transactions.
    5.  Save your entries.
This procedure ensures that the changes you make to the pricing
procedure do not negatively affect existing documents.
However, all newly created documents, for which the system uses
Customizing to redetermine the pricing procedure, are based on the new,
    adjusted pricing procedure.
Please refer to the note 388112 about it.
For the exsiting documents, I am afraid there is no standard method to update them.
    Cheers,
    Alex

  • How to replicate a new pricing procedure from SAP ERP?

    Dear Experts,
I have set up a new pricing procedure in the ERP backend and I would like to replicate this to SAP CRM.
A replication using object DNL_CUST_CNDALL has been executed once in the past.
What would be the best way for me to download the new pricing procedure without overwritting any of the existing pricing settings in SAP CRM?
    Thanks,
    Dan

    Hello Dan,
The views in CRM pricing customizing do not allow to change the pricing procedures, condition types and access sequences that have been downloaded from the ERP system. You will see a field in customizing Source System with value A indicating that these were not created originally in CRM and the view does not go to edit mode.
In case a i.e. condition type had been created originally in CRM with the same name as a condition type that exists in the ERP the download of the adapter object will not delete the condition type that was created in CRM.
Therefore it is safe to execute the initial download of the adapter object DNL_CUST_CNDALL without filtering. If you have many pricing procedures in the ERP and you do not want to transfer its customizing to CRM you can create your own adapter object by copying the content of DNL_CUST_CNDALL ( to be on the safe side and keep the original) and then add a filter in your adapter object ,for example in pricing procedures using field KALSM of table T683S, including all the pricing procedures that must be transferred to CRM u2013 those that were transferred in the past and the one that you want to transfer now .However this filter is optional, most SAP customers do not change the standard filters.
    The usual options are:
-- Download only DNL_CUST_CNDALL (or a Z object that was created based on DNL_CUST_CNDALL) which contains client dependent and also  independent customizing ( i.e access sequences, condition tables).  Condition tables may be generated too and it can take longer, maybe up to 45 minutes or so.
-- If you have made changes only to pricing procedure(s) or condition types u2013 client dependent customizing--  it will be enough if you download only DNL_CUST_PRC. As there is no generation of condition tables the download will be faster.
But you must consider that you should not download both adapter objects at the same time ( overlapping times), as part of the content being downloaded is the same and the database will be inconsistent. This can cause errors in pricing, not a severe issue, as it can be solved by a new download of  DNL_CUST_CNDALL, but an issue that causes trouble as it is sometimes difficult to determine the root cause of the problem. So if you for whatever reason ( i.e. additional changes in a condition type) download both adapter objects you should always check R3AM1 and download the second object when the download of the first one has finished ( green light in transaction R3AM1)

  • Tax calculation in CRM using R/3 pricing procedure

    Hello Experts
We are using R/3 pricing procedure to calculate list prices in CRM.
The condition record for Taxes are maintained for condition type UTXJ in SD which is calling for tax procedure TAXUSJ and condition type JR1.
The records are maintained in FTXP.  This is the SAP Standard way of maintaining taxes if external tax software is not used.
We have downloaded the condition records and condition types in CRM.  The tables have all the required records downloaded from R/3.
When creating an order in Webshop the tax is not getting calculated.
The pricing analysis shows that the condition record for UTXJ condtion type is met, but it is not showing the tax maintained for condition type JR1.
Have we missed any settings here?
If we are using R/3 billling does the TTE needs to be activated for calculating taxes in the webshop?
If TTE needed to be used for calculating taxes, what are the settings needed to be configured?
Thanks in advance for the valuable advice.
    Sastri

    Hi Sastri,
I am facing this problem with TAX Condition Records: Pricing error: Mandatory condition MWST is missing. I am using a R/3 pricing procedure correctly downloaded to CRM.
You say that you have downloaded the condition records and condition types in CRM. SAP Library says 'Prerrequisites: You have downloaded the tax condition records from SAP ECC'.
I don't know If my problem is caused because I haven't downloaded any Tax Condition Records. The fact is that I cannot determine which one is the Condition Object to download in R3AS.
I would really appreciate if you or anyone could tell me which object you did use.
    thanks in advance,

  • How to Change Contract pricing Procedure

Is there a way after the contract has been created to change the pricing procedure it uses. I know you can do this in the sales order.
    Will reward any help.
    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi
Pricing procedure is determined from the customer master(customer pricing group in the sales area tab) + document pricing procedure in the order type + sales area
So if you want to change the contract pricing procedure, change the document pricing procedure in the contract type you are using.
And make sure there is a combination maintained for the new document pricing procedure in IMG to determine the pricing procedure in the contract.

  • BP Changes From CRM to R/3

    Hi everyone,
We performed an initial download from R/3 to CRM.
Delta changes are working fine. Changes in R/3 are coming to CRM.
Our problem: we don't want any changes to be transferred from CRM to R/3, which sometimes cause inconsistencies.
    How can I stop that?
We have the same situation in materials so please advise also for materials.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nigne,
The solution in case of BP only:
Changes from R/3 to CRM will take place if you tick "Transfer to ERP".
Do not tick the same, and data will not flow from CRM to R/3.
    Also check your middleware settings.

  • Bill to Return order - Pricing procedure determination

    Hi
Need expert advice on following customization.
We have a return order getting created with reference to F2 invoice.  We need to have a new pricing procedure determined in the return order instead of the pricing procedure copying from F2.
I have changed the pricing type in F2 - RE copy control to B.  I have set up a new document pricing procedure for RE.  I have setup the pricing procedure for RE.
Still i am finding the F2 procedure getting copied to RE.
    Need your help on this.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Chakravarthy,
Would like to know if the return order was created before the configuration changes??? If yes, then in the return order condition tab you would have an update option. Choose pricing elements to be redetermined.

  • PRICING PROCEDURES

Hi Sadhu and all the gurus.,
Out of your experience can you please say how many pricing procedures did u use in your projects, and why did you use different pricing pricing procedures, and can u pls say in detail the condition types you used in different pricing procedures,
Points are awarded to all the gurus.,
    Narayana

    Hello Manam,
Its always good to have minimum number of organizational units as then its becomes easier to maintain the system and also the addition to the existing system. In case there are many more pricing procedure...and one has to say change some pricing elements...it would involve more work and making changes to less organizational units like Pricing procedure.
Though the number of pricing procedure vary from business to business and the factor which influence the same can be categorised as under:
    1. How the structing of the business is done
    2. How the products are being sold
    3. Customers
    4. Taxes
    5. Inter-company business.
    6. Accounting for accounts.
Say for a typical India implementation as a consultant, there should be about 3 Pricing Procedures.

    Gauravjit.

Which SRM version are you using ?

  • Middleware-Error of Field conversion from R/3 to CRM

    Hello Friends,
I am getting the below error when we tried replicating pricing condition objects from R/3 to CRM. Kindly help me if you have any solution on this.
Funct. CND_MAP_CONV_FUNC_T682Z_QUSTR cannot convert content KOMP of field T682Z-QUSTR to field /SAPCND/T682Z-QUSTR
    Message no. CND_MAP141
    Diagnosis
Conversion of the source field into the target field cannot be implemented. Possible causes may be:
No conversion is defined for the current contents of the source field in the system tables for condition exchange.
There is no conversion rule for converting the current field content in the system tables for condition exchange.
Conversion according to the defined conversion rule was not correct for the current contents of the source field.
The reason for this os often problems that result from putting together an R/3 System with a CRM System. These problems are, for example:
not paying attention to the restrictions in CRM for data values or supporting applications and objects,
incorrect exchange objects or exchange objects with the wrong selection values,
an inconsistent data structure from the R/3 OLTP System.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Yogesh

    Hello Yogesh
I have just noticed the message you placed on SDN re condition customising download errors.  Did you ever get to the bottom of this problem ?
The reason I ask is that I am getting similar errors. I actually started with two errors which I believe are related, these being:
Funct. CND_MAP_CONV_FUNC_T682Z_FNAME cannot convert content AUBEL of field T682Z-QUFNA to field /SAPCND/T682Z-QUFNA
    and
Funct. CND_MAP_CONV_FUNC_T682Z_QUSTR cannot convert content KOMP of field T682Z-QUSTR to field /SAPCND/T682Z-QUSTR
I have since read OSS Note 319636 and looked at maintaining the separate
conversion rules in CRM Customizing table CND_MAPM_CNV_FLM by adding an
entry for AUBEL into view V_CND_MAP_CNVFLD using SM30. This I saved to
    a transport.
I then looked to add AUBEL to the field catalog within the IMG however I received a
    message stating that :
"Entry is in SAP name space. Message no. /SAPCND/CUSTOMIZING403".
    So it won't let me.
Did you have similar problems and did you resolve them ?
    Regards
    Ian

  • Relation between Tax procedure and Pricing procedure

    Dear All,
I would like to get more clarity on Tax procedure, Pricing procedure.
    a) Why do we have Tax procedure and assigned to Country?
    b) If the tax procedure has been created and assigned to Country-IN (in FI module), then why do we need to create pricing procedure with same condition type for purchasing in MM module?  We are even creating lot of pricing procedure for Sales in SD module.
    Regards
    Manivannan R

    Hi
    Tax
During SD document transactions, tax calculation procedure TAXUSX is only relevant to determine the tax liability accounts for output sales tax. Notice that in pricing procedure RVAXUS, the condition types XR1 - XR6 carry the tax rates and tax amounts - resulted from the external tax system calculation - which is posted to tax G/L accounts. However, the tax accounts are not specified in the pricing procedure but rather in the tax calculation procedure.
Tax codes are the link between pricing procedure and tax calculation procedure.
    Pricing
The primary job of a pricing procedure is to define a group of condition types in a particular sequence. The pricing procedure also determines:
    Which sub-totals appear during pricing
To what extent pricing can be processed manually
Which method the system uses to calculate percentage discounts and surcharges
Which requirements for a particular condition type must be fulfilled before the system takes the condition into account
    Example
    Example of a Pricing Procedure
If a sales department processes sales orders for a variety of foreign customers, the department can group the customers by country or region. A pricing procedure can then be defined for each group of customers. Each procedure can include condition types that determine, for example, country-specific taxes. In sales order processing, you can specify pricing procedures for specific customers and for sales document types. The system automatically determines which procedure to use.
Pricing Procedures in the R/3 System
The standard system contains pre-defined pricing procedures, which contain frequently used condition types along with their corresponding access sequences. You can, of course, modify these procedures or create your own from scratch.
    Creating and Maintaining Pricing Procedures
You create or maintain pricing procedures in Customizing for Sales. For more information on creating pricing procedures, see the online Implementation Guide for Sales and Distribution.
To reach the pricing procedure screen from SD Customizing:
       1. Choose Basic Functions
       2. ® Pricing ® Pricing control ® Define and assign pricing procedures.Select the transaction that you want to execute.
