Pricing procedure for tax

hi all, i need some help.
in PO, i used my customized pricing procedure which is ZRBAPO.
the pricing procedure contain standard price , discount , and freight
ex :
price (PBXX) = 100 USD
disc (ZDIC)   = 10 USD
freight (ZFRI)  = 20 USD
total = 110 USD
standard system use 110 as base amount for tax (tax proc TAXID cond type BASB), but i only want determined base amount only from basic price and discount, which is the value is 90 USD not 110 USD.
how we achieve that req?
what's the relationship between pric proc ZRBAPO and TAXID?
Thanks
Best Regard,
Hendry

Hi Hendry,
In your customized Pricing procedure ZRBAPO, I suppose the tax condtion type used is "NAVS", pl check what is the "From reference step" that you have defined, it might be the step agaist the Total value of 110 USD,
Now you make a change in the pricing procedure, make a sub total after price and discount and use that step to calculate the tax condition, this should resolve your issue.

  • Different Tax base in pricing procedure for a single sales order for different line item material.

    Hi,
I have a scenario wherein in a sales order, for two different material, the tax base of pricing should get triggered on the basis of sold to party and the material entered at line item level.
Logic triggers on the basis of Region of Customer & a unique field in the Material Master but problem comes in the calculation of Tax base as the sequence of condition type (from – to)  is already defined in the pricing procedure to pick from a particular step but in second line item the base is different i.e. the sequence of condition types that are maintained in pricing procedure should be different for Tax to calculate differently.
Kindly suggest if the same can be handled in a single pricing procedure and dynamically taking care of condition type sequence through Alt Cal Base Formula, so far I’ve tried both Alt Cal Formula & Base but it is not working
Client doesn’t want to go ahead by creating two different orders (through separate Pricing Procedure) for that. They want to have both materials in same order.
Kindly suggest a suitable way to handle this scenario.

    Aashika Agarwal

    Hi,
Click on the ''check availability'' button at item overview and then click on ''One-time delivery'' on the top. This will ensure that you will have only one delivery for whatever quantity is confirmed on that date.
If you want to apply this rule for all orders across a sales area, then you can do the below configuration step :
SPRO->sales and distribution->basic functions->availability check with ATP logic->Define default settings-> Here in avail. checking rule select A (one time delivery). This will ensure that all orders created for a particular sales area will have only one delivery.
    Hope this helps.

  • New tax code creation and pricing procedure for Sri Lanka

    Hi,

    Hi Mr. Biju,
    Thanks for reply...
Enterprise structure has already been decided. Everything we have copied from India for Sri Lanka and working fine except below error.
As I have already mentioned that I have copied tax pricing procedure for Sri Lanka from Taxinn then assigned to country code LK (Sri Lanka). I have created new tax code for LK (Sri Lanka) in FTXP then I have assigned the tax code with company code in SPRO Logestic General--- Basic settings.
After completeing this config, system is showing error" tax code is not defined to company code" in MIRO.
    Please suggest...

  • Excise duty in the Pricing Procedure for Local Purchase / Importation

    Hi,
I'd like to know how to set up the pricing procedure for the purchase of an IS Oil Material; for local purchase and importation, especially with regards to the excise duty posting.
Local purchase:  the vendor will bill us inclusive of the ED tax he previously paid, so the tax is just passed on to us..  My receiving location has ED paid status. In the PO item, we need to see this price (inclusive of tax) in the net price field.
Importation:  the vendor only bills us the cost of the material.  When we received the fuel, we paid ED tax to local tax authorities.
I know that both in these scenarios, the system has to determine the excise duty.
My questions are (1) how do you set up the excise duty condition type  in the pricing procedure(or do they have to be maintained in the pricing procedure?) ?   and (2)  how do you set up this condition type in the config?
Thank you and hoping for your immediate feedback.
    zccr

    Hi,
You can use same pricing procedure
put 4 in subtotal in pricing procedure against the Discounr or freight cond
    and in taxinn
BASb ALTCBV 362 and for jmop 363
But this will work only if same  discount or freight value is in IV as that given in PO
if freing value changes in IV then its a problem
This is SAP bug, and SAP workes in that way only, freight value should be same in PO and IV
    other solution
in taxinn create tax code like v8 vat 4% for 003 tax clasification
in ftxp create tax code V8 desc vat 4%
in fv11 for jvrd put 4
and at the time of IV put this tax code for freight amount
and for regular material value V1 tax code
this will work only if u have used acess seq MWST instead of JTAX pr JST1
    hope this helps

  • Pricing procedure for Credit Memo request WITHOUT reference

    Dear friends,
I have come across a requirement where credit memo request has to be created without reference to preceding document. i.e. for just giving some credit to customer may be for over pricing or giving some credit to customer (as to maintain good relation).
So generally we have different pricing procedure for Cr/Dr process.
thus i have different pricing procedure for Cr/Dr process than normal sales process.
here i have copied pricing procedure of normal sales and added extra condition type for manual pricing, which overrides basic pricing condition type.
but calculate the discount and taxes on the manual price.
I would like to know whether discounts and taxes condition type's should be used
in the cr/dr process without reference to preceding document. and suggest me the right condition types to be used in cr/dr pricing procedure without reference.
    Thanks.

    HI,
Remove all the other condition types from the procedure and keep only those which you need.

    Hi Gurus.,
First of all thank you very much for giving me so tremendous response, But my client requirement is,
He has one customer and for that customer when raising an order ,for some orders Tax shouldnot caliculate and for some orders Tax should be caliculated,
For example :  If he gives price 100,Then the base price should be 100,For some orders he  gives price as 130 rs which is inclusive of tax like 110 should be the base price and 20 rs tax should get caliculated
So i have tried in the pricing procedures and we have standard pricing procedure RVAA01 & RVAB01 ,In which RVAB01 is the price inclusive of tax procedure,We can assighn different pricing procedures if any of the combination in OVKK is changed,But he dont want to change the combination in OVKK.
So client asks now when he raise an order he decides how the price should be caliculated, i.e the price may be he give price or price inclusive tax,of which the pricing procedure should automatically split the tax and price accordingly,He is asking in the way like when we raise a sales order we should do like a pop up box should appear asking which pricing procedure should be selected,So on selecting the pricing procedure the order should caliculate based on the selected pricing procedure
    Thanks & Regards

  • MM Pricing procedure VS Tax procedure

    Hi Gurus,
I have checked many  thread here , but still can not find the answer.
Tax calculation procedure basically calculate the tax amount based on condition recaord maintained
    (dor tis corresponding Condition type).
But we also can maintain Condition record for the condition type NAVS  (pricing procedure) that bring tax amout into the pricing procedure of PO).
My question is why do we have to maintain Tax procedure as well as pricing procedure (regarding tax of course ).
    Cheers Guys
    Julien

    HI
Basically why we have taxing procedure is that its always country specific that means it can be any vendor selling any material but he has to follow some government regualations whcih is what will be given in the taxing procedure that sholuld be the same for all customers it will be different if the customer is foreign.
the pricing procedure is where we carry out pricing that is customer specific here we can have different prices for different customers depending on what he buys and ETC.
    hope this clarifies .

  • Pricing Procedure vs Tax Procedure

    Dear all,
    The scenario is as follows
My company purchase material from a trading company which imports the materials from other countries.
In PO we have maintained import pricing procedure so that we can take the duties paid by trading company during import.
We pay duties to the trading company.
Taxes are also involved in this.
I have created a pricing procedure for this seperate where there is a line with 'condition value' = total of
[ Net price of materialCustoms dutyCVD+ECS on CVD + SEC ECS on CVD + AED]
Now we all know tax should be calculated on this total amount.
In normal case the Net price will come as the base price for tax calculation  which is here wrong.
I want this total amount to be the base amount for tax calculation in tax procedure.
What i need to assign in the pricing procedure against this 'total' so that  it is taken as base amount for tax calculation
    How to do this?
    sapmmlearner

    Hello,
    As per your said scenario:
My company purchase material from a trading company which imports the materials from other countries.
In PO we have maintained import pricing procedure so that we can take the duties paid by trading company during import.
We pay duties to the trading company.
Taxes are also involved in this.

Net price of materialCustoms dutyCVD+ECS on CVD + SEC ECS on CVD + AED
Now we all know tax should be calculated on this total amount.
In normal case the Net price will come as the base price for tax calculation which is here wrong.
I want this total amount to be the base amount for tax calculation in tax procedure.
What i need to assign in the pricing procedure against this 'total' so that it is taken as base amount for tax calculation
My question is if your company and your vendor /supplier (Is a trading company from where you are procuring the materials) are geographically located at the same place (such is within country in same place or within country at different places, etc)
means, then you should not worry about the Import duty. Because for you, when you procure the goods it should be treated as Inland/Domestic procurement  (by the by your vendor, who is trading company procures materials from Abroad, that is his risk or his duty to pay the Customs duty or Importation clearing charges, etc since he is procuring from outside the country through Import procurement process, so don't worry for that).
Hence when you order the material through standard PO to your vendor (that is trading company), then Logically it must be Domestic pricing procedure (there is no involvement of import duties, importation, etc), that means system will pickup the Pricing procedure - Domestic - which consists of Gross price, and all other suitable pricing elements which are in currently used in your company (for the vendor) and part from the tax condition elements such as Basic excise duty (BED), SED, AED, Cess, etc... these are not part of the Pricing proceudre, but relevent to the Tax procedure. So which can be arranged in a sequential order for the Tax procedure - TAXINN - which is currently in use from any industry - for calculating the tax amount for the item that you procure from the supplier or vendor. And thats how you (your company) will pay the Duty or tax amount agains the goods that are procured from external source.
Please note:  the tax caluclation is always based on the Base amount, not on anything else, that is based on the total ordered amount through the PO. And the tax amount is always interm calculated by adopting the suitable tax code in the PO (in item details), provided you have to maintain all these tax condition elements in a Condition records through FV11 t.code. then once the tax code (i.e., Input tax - which is tax on purchases) is adopted for the PO, system will pick all the valid condition records and sum the total tax amount in the PO.
Maintainaing of condition records is required, because the tax procedure which is a Condition based tax calculation procedure. hence you have to maintian the condition records as you said. Then it will calculate correctly.
    Hope it clarifies,

  • Pricing Procedure for Zero rated customer

    Hi Experts,
Good day, We have an urgent issue in which the my client is selling taxable goods, but certain customers are so called "zero rated" in which no tax should be applied to them even if the material is taxable.
Gross price (with tax) will be the price of the goods and the system should automatically deduct from here the tax. Would it be possible to make a pricing procedure with tax but no accounting document would be created for that tax amount? I tried to make it statistical but it does not compute the price net of vat  amount (gross less tax).
    Sample
    Gross Price with Tax
    1000
    Tax
    107.14
    Price Net of VAT
    892.86
Discount (1% of Price Net of VAT)
    8.93
    Net Price
    883.93
    Accounting Entry:
    Debit Accounts Receivable
    883.93
    Debit Discount
    8.93
    Credit Sales
    892.86
Kindly assist me in finding the right pricing procedure.
    Regards,
    Beloved One

    Debit Accounts Receivable
    883.93
    Debit Discount
    8.93
    Credit Sales
    892.86
    Why two debits??
Normally at the time of invoice--

  • Pricing procedure for Depot Sales(CIN Version)

    HI,
Can anyone explain me TAXINJ and
The Pricing procedure for Depot Sales(CIN Version)
alongwith the Condition Types like JMOD,JECS,JECX etc.
    Points will be given
    Regrds,
    Binayak

    Hi Binayak.
JMOD is a FI Tax condition which gets the Basic Excise duty from calculation formula 352. JEX2 is a copy of JMOD and is a Sales pricing condition. The value of JEX2 gets posted for Excise account key. This ensures that the cost accounting of excise value paid is done correctly. In cases where commercial invoice is created after utilization the condition value formula 353 ensures that the actual MODVAT utilized is accounted as excise.
Similarly JAED is a FI Tax condition which gets the Additional Excise duty from calculation formula 352. JEXA is a copy of JAED and is a Sales pricing condition. The accounting is done for the value of JEXA.
JSED is a FI Tax condition which gets the Special Excise duty from calculation formula 352. JEXS is a copy of JSED and is a Sales pricing condition. The accounting is done for the value of JEXS.
JCES is a FI Tax condition which gets the CESS from calculation formula 352. JCED is a copy of JCES and is a Sales pricing condition. The accounting is done for the value of JCED.
    So, Conclusion :---->
JMOD  -- >  Basic Excise duty condition  for FI side.
    corresponding to it,
JEX2 is the Basic Excise duty condition  for SD side.
    That's why
account key to  JMOD is linkes in TAXINJ.
    and
account key to  JEX2 is linkes in JDEPOT.
    Hope this certainly helps you.
Please reward points if found useful to you.

  • Maintain CIN configuration & Pricing Procedure for Trading Company

    Hi Experts,
Our client is a Trading Company. In this company...first they purchase finish goods and than sale it. They are not selling their material to the manufactures. They are not creating the excise invoice.
Please suggest us how to maintain CIN configuration & maintain Pricing Procedure for them.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Shatrughan

    Hi,
Create 2 tax codes in T-code FTXP
1 for VAT, 2nd for CST
then you define 2 condition types in v/06,
    ex:ZVAT,ZCST
place these 2 condition types in your pricing procedure in V/08
And in VK11 maintaine condition records.
    Thank you,

  • Help needed-Regarding pricing procedure and tax inn configuration

    Hello Friends
I have a new scenario in sap mm-
i have to do teh customizing in 2 days please guide me up.
my company SAY :A is in india imports material from parent company B in america.
This A company some times gets material from local vendors in mumbai. where VAT and CST comes into place.
we are using use tax INN configuration for this.
ther are Customs duty, there is no excise duty as everything is just imported., edu cess, CVD,and freight charges etc.
can you please decribe me in detail the pricing procedure required for my company A which is in india.
    and the customization of TAXINN.
any information will be really helpfulbecause i am struck on creating condition types.
Help me SAP GURUS>>Please..u wil be my life saver..

    Hi Aravind,
For domestic purchase Vat & CST are applicable. If it is intra state VAT is used & if it is interstate CST is used. These condition types have to be manitained in the TAX procedure.
    JVRD - I/P VAT
    JVCS- I/P CST.
we have maintained condition records for both these condition types along with the tax code in FV11. In the case of import purchase, you need to maintain seperate pricing procedure for import which will include ,
    JCDB - BASIC CUSTOMS DUTY
    JCV1-CVD
    JECV-EDU CESS
    J1CV- SEC EDU CESS
    JEDB- IMPORT CESS
    JADC- ADDITIONAL CUSTOM DUTY.
All these conditions will be available in PO item level & you need to maintain % for these conditions. Hope it helps.
