Primary Schedule & Email Schedule are failed

Hi,
My default schedules (Primary Schedule & Email Schedule) are failed.
error:
WKG-30724: Invalid SQL command: BEGIN CTX_DDL.SYNC_INDEX('WK$DOC_PATH_IDX'); END;
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:
DRG-50857: oracle error in dreii0fsh
ORA-01653: unable to extend table MYSAMPLE.DR$WK$DOC_PATH_IDX$I by 1024 in tablespace MYTBSPACE01
Please show me how to solve this problem.

Hi,
You are hitting this problem because your tablespace is not big enough.
You can alter the table space to increase your table space.
example:
alter tablespace add datafile '/private/../datafile1.dbf' size 100M autoextend on next 10M maxsize 500M;

I read about an approach somewhere I have been using.
Insert a summary for a field that will exist if there are any records. Maybe Count(field_x).
Create a formula that divides by zero if this summary formula is NULL:
1 / If IsNull(Count(field_x)) Then 0 Else 1
Place this formula somewhere on the report. This way when there are no records the report generates an error and the scheduled report fails. Note that on the History tab you will have a failure notice for each time this happens.

Scheduled Web Intelligence report fails with ORA-01013 and WIS 10901

Hi,
the environment I'm working in is BOXI R2 SP4 on a Solaris 10 server using WebLogic running against Oracle 9i database.
I have a report written by one of the users. In SQL Viewer the SQL detailed is two joined Select statements. Each time this report is either scheduled or refreshed is fails with an ORA-01012 and WIS 10901 error.
I am of the understanding that this failure relates to the fact that the 'Limit Execution Time To;' value is being exceeded.
I also understand that this value is infact divided by the number of Select statements present, and that each Select statment is them allocated an equal portion of this value.
If any of this is incorrect please correct me.
I therefore have two questions
1. As such would I be correct in assuming that in my scenario where 2 Select statments are present and where the execution limit is set to 30 minutes, that each Select has 15 minutes to complete, and that if either fails the ORA-01012 and WIS 10901 error is generated.
2. Also would this error message get generated as soon as the first failure occurred, or would BO initiate a cancellation of the SQL by Oracle, ORA-01012, only when the final request has either succeeded or failed.

The queries are not executed in parallel but in serial. So the total execution time configured will be for all the Select statements in the report combined.
As for your second question, since the execution is not parallel hence BO will not initiate any error message until the total execution time exceeds the defined limit. This could be during the execution of first select statement or the second.
Try executing the queries directly in database one by one and see how much time they are taking.

Indexing Schedule Manager on Server Failed!!!

Hi All,
Below is the error message from the ULS logs regarding the Indexing service. As a result of this, I'm unable to see the Content Sources and Crawl History on Central Admin. I further found out that one of the server in our farm is in Converging Status under
NLB (Network Load Balancer). Could this be the issue? But why would it say access denied. The search service account has not been modified or the permissions have never changed. Thanks in advance for any pointers.

According to your post, my understanding is that Indexing Schedule Manager on Server Failed.
I recommend to reset Index and have a full Crawl. Please refer to:

You need to check whether you have an additional Search Service Application and is stuck in an error state. If so, please run the configuration wizard to remove the previously mentioned Search Service Application that was corrupted.
In addition, please follow the instructions to check whether it works:
stsadm -o osearch -action stop
stsadm -o osearch -action start -role index
Open Central Admin - select your SSP
Check / validate your search service configuration.

Scheduled Email Reports?

Maybe we are just missing something very simple, even after all of the complexities of setting up Usage based reports that calculate a cost of running a VM per hour. My customer wants a weekly report emailed to them, Excel, PDF doesn't matter. While in the system we have the reports generating weekly and monthly, if you manually click on one you can chose to open or email it. How do you schedule emails to occur on a schedule? Seems like such a basic function, it would be in here somewhere!

if you haven't recenlty changed the password for the SnapDrive (domain?) account and nothing changed in DNS or local windows hosts file, then it's most likely a problem with the cifs status on the storage system: the storage system needs cifs service to be running and working fine within the workgroup or the domain. anyone knows which timezone is the schedule email campaign based (email campaign > Manage email campaign > Step 3 schedule email campaign)?
Is there any way we can set it up per the current timezone we are located? (say Japan timezone)

Schedules Error - Job execution failed because the user who scheduled this

I wonder if anyone can help
I have a report that I can deliver by email through the BI Publsiher front end without issue. However when I call the report to send by email through my oracle 11G Database, as the same BI User I get the following error message
"oracle.apps.xdo.servlet.scheduler.ProcessingException: Job execution failed because the user who scheduled this job has no more permission or priviledge to run the job."
Any suggestions?

The scheduler appears to be the culprit here so try the following:
1. Open the [repository_home]/Admin/Scheduler/quartz-config.properties file
2. Add the following entry:
org.quartz.threadPool.threadsInheritContextClassLoaderOfInitializingThread=true
3. Restart the environment (xmlpserver)
4. Rerun the report via the scheduler

Scheduling Emails in Mail

Hi there
Does anyone have an up-to-date solution for being able to schedule emails to be sent in Mail? the Applescripts that everyone directs to is no longer running as it is not compatible with OSX Lion or higher..
So has anyone found a solution to this yet please? I dowloaded an App from the Mac store called Mail o'clock and it doesn't work at all, very dissappointing, especially as it is a paid app.

My understanding is Tariff #, Commodity #, HTS # and Schedule B # all are same. Meaning, you apply and assign same 10 digit numbering scheme for the given parts. When you import you call it HTS# or Tariff #. When you export the part # it is called Commodity # or
Schedule B #.

For all wondering how to schedule emails ahead of time to go out, the programmer has updated the "Schedule Delivery" Apple Script and it now works. I tried this 2 years ago and it was a pain after 10.5 as it was very buggy. But now it's up and running!

Events in Calendar not scheduled to repeat are gone!

Today I opened up my Palm Desktop calendar on my PC and recent events that I scheduled but were not scheduled to repeat are gone! I made sure that “category” was set to “All” and it was. I did find that events about 2 months ago that were not scheduled to repeat are there but nothing after then up until now or one time events in the future. I installed the Palm desktop 4.1.4 software on my computer when I started using my Lifedrive a few years ago. However, my Lifedrive broke a year ago but I still use the Palm Calendar on my PC to set my schedule. In other words I do not synch anything with the Palm software. I always “save all” before closing out of the Palm software. I have read very similar problems online by others in similar posts but every suggested remedy advises to try something involving synching to the device the Palm software is used with. I know that there should be archived data on my PC that may still contain the data that somehow disappeared. I am not sure though exactly what file/files to open or look at.
Did the recent date change to Feb 1, 2009 mess something up? Like I said, from the online searches I have done I have seen several posts stating things similar to “My present/future one-time events are gone but ones from months ago are still there”. This leads me to believe it is nothing I did because I honestly can’t think of anything that caused this.

If the Data is intact on the device then change the Hotsync conduit to Handheld overwrites desktop then sync. Otherwise you will need to bowse to the file location on the PC. C:/Program Files/Palm or Palmone. Make sure the Palm Desktop is closed. There you should see a Folder with a name based on your hotsync username. Inside that folder you should see a Datebook folder. In side the Datebook folder you should see a Datebook.dat file (DAT file) and a Datebook.bak file. Right click and rename the DAT file to Datebook.old and the .bak file to Datebook.dat. Then open the Palm Desktop and see if the data has been restored. If it has then change the Hotsync conduits to desktop overwrites handheld and sync.
