Print 2 copies of report, 2nd Copy with add'l text

I am trying to format a text field so that, when 2 copies of the report are printed, the field will print on only the 2nd copy. Is this possible? I could not find a function that might provide this. Not sure where else to look. Thanks.

When you print a report, the entire report prints. There is no conditional suppression capabilitiy to (for example) "suppress printing if <> copy 3" or "print only if copy 3 or 8"
You'll just need to save two different copies of your report and print separately.
If you can create your own application you could have the user click one button then in the background print both the reports but using CR alone you'll not be able to do it with one click.

Crucial - Printing Multiple Copies of Report

Greetings to all!
I have a situation to suggest a solution for this.
I nee to call a Oracle Report from the Oracle Apps. When the user fires the "Print" from the invoice screen,
- I need to initiate three copies of the same invoice.
- Each copies should have the footer text as Official Copy, Customer Copy and Personal Copy respectively.
Any suggestion will be heartfully appreciated.

1. You may want to create the same (invoice) layout across the three sections.
2. On each section, set the respective footer text in the bottom margin.
3. Create a Report level distribution list that distributes to the Printer.
4. Distribute the report on issuing the "Print" command from Invoice screen.

Using Report Client Model (CRforVS2010 SP2) to attempt to print report. Getting following exception when attempting to print 2 copies of report to Microsoft XPS Document Writer:

The Microsoft XPS Document Writer driver has no problem processing multiple copies. This was not a problem in previous versions of Crystal Reports. Does anybody know how to setup the PrintReport to generate multiple copies to an XPS file?

I found the issue with my report. I gave the syntax wrong when ending for-each for group. Using Variables no longer gives error and the issue is resolved with syntax as below.

I saw in some post that the variable can not be used out of Loop. Can someone help how to accomplish this.

How to print multiple copies of same image (with specific fixed dimensions) on single page

I am using Photoshop Elements 10 on Win 7 PC. I am trying to print multiple copies of one image on a single 8.5x11 sheet of paper? The images are artwork for buttons (to be used in button-making machine) so the dimensions must be exact on the duplicated images. When I select Picture Package, the images are resized to fit the dimensions in the picture package. When I select Contact Sheet, the images are resized to fit the number of columns I selected. Neither is acceptable. How can I repeat the same image on a single piece of paper without having the system re-size the image? I know that I can manually create a new PSE file and manually insert the images into this file. This is what I have been doing as a work-around. But I would hope there is a better/faster way.

A variation of hatstead's method where the pictures are precisely aligned:
1. Add the picture to the blank file as hatstead described. Use the Move tool to position the picture in the upper left corner.
2. Duplicate the layer. Use the arrow keys (NOT the mouse) to move the new layer to the right.
3. Repeat step 2 until the row is filled:
4. Merge Down the 3 layers into one. Alternatively, link the 3 layers and do a Merge Linked as in this example. The end result is the pictures in the row are on one layer:
5. Duplicate the layer and use the arrow keys to move this down to the 2nd row.
6. Repeat step 5 to create additional rows.
7. Finally, to center the whole thing on the sheet, link all the row layers and position with the arrow keys.
Note that you can also custom-make your own Picture Package. Instructions for this should be somewhere in Help.

Laserjet 5000 with windows 7 driver cannot print multiple copies unless disabling mopier

Customer has Laserjet 5000 that they have been using for approx 5 years. It is connected to one computer with the standard parallel cable and the driver is using lpt1. It is used mainly to print word documents and a multi page publisher document. The computer used to be a windows xp computer and all worked well with the PCL6 driver and that is the only driver that was used
They just bought a new Windows 7 32 bit computer and now it has lost some of the functionality.
The first driver that was loaded was the driver that Windows 7 used after you use the windows update button that you get during the add printer wizard. I think it was the pcl 5 driver as that is the driver that the computer will install if you remove the printer and then restart the computer. Using this driver, when you choose to print more than one page or multiple copies, it will just print the first page or copy and there will not be any errors displayed.
I have since downloaded the PCL6 driver, PS driver and PCL5 driver from HP's website and tried all of them.
The PS driver will print more than one page, but when it gets to about the 4th page the printer prints out an error page. The error is PCL XL error, Subsystem: Kernel, Error: Unsupported protocol, Operator 0x0, Position:0
The PCl 6 driver will print the same error page and not print any print jobs, even if it is just a single page, single copy job.
The pcl 5 driver prints one page and then stops printing, no errors.
When I disable the mopier under device settings, the pcl5 driver will print everything just fine. Only problem is, it will not collate. The collate checkbox is available and checked when we try the multiple page multiple copy publisher document, but it just prints out as if we do not have collate checked. If we could get collation to work, than we are good to go.
I have not tried the PS driver with the mopier disabled.
The PCL6 driver stills returns the pcl xl error with the mopier disabled.
The printer does not have any extra memory, just the 4 mb standard that came with the printer. I am wondering if this is a memory issue triggered by Windows 7and I just need to get more memory for the printer. (Computer has 4 gb of memory)
Anybody else have a similar issue and got theirs fixed?

What drivers are you using?
Did you download the drivers or are you using the Windows preinstalled drivers?
If you are using the Windows preinstalled drivers then I would download the latest drivers. Here is the URL for the HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver.
I would download and run the Print and Scan Doctor since it might resolve the issue automatically.

Problem with 4250dtn printing multiple copies Windows 7 64 bit

We can't print multiple copies from within some, but not all, applications to a Laserjet 4250dtn from Windows 7 64-bit workstaitons. Windows 7 32-bit ones work fine. The printer is served from a Server 2003 printer queue, but even when we print direclty to the port we only get one copy. Setting copy count from the printer dialog works fine, but we need to have the applications invoke multiple copies. We are using the UPD 64-bit driver; could not find a legacy driver for this printer for Win 7 64 bit. I've tried various tricks found elsewhere on this forum, including turning off mopier mode, printing directly to the printer, disabling advanced features, etc. to no avail. Help, anyone! Thanks. The command window opens when I double-click on the Developer Day VM and I get a few lines that scroll off the window about loading Linux .... These lines never come back and I can't scroll in the command window.
As soon as the above messages come into the command window the whole process stops. The window stays open but I get no response from it. I get no login prompt or anything.
Do you think it could be a VirtualBox setup issue? I downloaded and installed the product along with the extension pack with no apparent problems and when I start VirtualBox I see the Developer Day VM listed in the left panel. All I do at that point is double-click it like the download web site said but I don't get the same results, i.e. no chance to login. It seems all I can do at that point is close the window by clicking the 'X' and it asks me 3 things about what to do with the VM and I usually say to shut it down. None of the other options look any better either.
Any other suggestions are most welcome!!

Unable to print multiple copies of documents on Win7 machine with Office 2010

Since upgrading to Windows 7, I have been unable to print multiple copies of documents in any MS Office 2007, 2010, Word Pad or Adobe Reader 9. I also experience the same problem if I print from Word Pad. The issue appears to be associated with the Collate Option in the Print Dialog box. If the Collate box is checked, I only get one copy of the document. If I uncheck the Collate box I get as many copies as I choose. The problem is that with the Collate box unchecked, I have to collate multiple copies by hand, and with 10 – 20 copies of multi-page documents that can be quite a chore.
The ironic thing is that MS Visio 2003, on the same machine, prints and collates as many copies as I choose, with the Collate box checked.
I can print multiple copies of Word 2003 documents from my wife’s Win XP machine to the same printer, but not from my Win 7 machine with Office 2010.
My printer is an HP LaserJet 1320nw and I have downloaded and installed the latest printer drivers from the HP Web site.
Has anyone experienced this problem, and if so, are you aware of a solution other than unchecking the Collate box?

I have the same issues with my LJ1320. I have Office 2010 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. However, my printing problem is more widespread since I have been unsuccessful at printing multiple copies of all types of documents, not just from Office 2010. For example, I have the same problem trying to print multiple copies from Internet Explorer.
I also have other problems printing from Office 2010 that you may not have discovered yet. I cannot print Excel spreadsheet grid lines from Office 2010 if those documents were originally created in an earlier version of Office. I tried saving them as Office 2010 documents and also using compatibility mode but nothing worked. These same documents print fine on the same printer from my laptop which uses Windows Vista and Office 2007. Also Excel spreadsheets originated in Office 2010 print nicely.
Looks like HP has a few bugs in their printer drivers.
I note that HP released a new Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL5x64 on Feb 18, 2011 (Version 5.2.6). Have you tried it yet?

Printing 4 copies with different header in smartform

I am printing Delivery Note using smartforms, for that i created form by coping SAP`s standard form LE_SHP_DELNOTE with some layout changes.
Its workin fine., but now user wants that it should print 4 copies of that form with different header, like
CUSTOMER COPY, WAREHOUSE COPY, GATE COPY, OFFICE COPY
This is usually done in other companies on carbonated papers, but they want this to print on normal paper.
Please suggest is it possible, if yes how should i do it...

Create a secondary window.Select Window type as u201CCopies Windowu201D.The variable SFSY-COPYCOUNT would provide us count of the copy whether it is a first copy, second copy and others. We would use this field to print the owner of the copy.We would define a string, which would hold the name of the copy (bank copy and others) depending on the value of SFSY-COPYCOUNT. Define a variable in the global definition.
Now select your Copies window, right click u2013 Select Create à Flow Logic à Program Lines
The output parameter is W_TEXT.
IF SFSY-COPYCOUNT = 001.
W_TEXT = 'Original'.
ELSEIF SFSY-COPYCOUNT = 002.
W_TEXT = 'Duplicate'.

I have a report made it with Report Builder and in the screen preview all the information is complete and fine; however when I print it, some letters disappear on the left side of the fiel. I don't know How to correct this. I tried with the properties that allows to fields
expand them in an horizontal and vertical way. But it doesn't work. How can I get a WYSWYG ("What you see What you get") in a print form?... Could be possible
that it is a Report Builder bug and How I can correct this? or maybe I'm creating the reports in a wrong way... I need help...

This is supposed to run on a Windows platform. I test it on a Windows XP SP2.

Hi back everyone.. Just in case you see this post, I found the solution for the problem.
Steps:
1. Open the photos you want to print in Preview, all at the same time, by selecting the 4 and dragging them onto Preview's icon
2. make sure the 4 photos are selected and press cmd + P (to print)
3. On your printing options, select the paper size, in my case I used 4x6, make sure center image is checked, Scale to fit: fit entire paper
4. Make sure you select print 4 images per page, in the left side of the print window you'd be able to see a preview of what your print will look like, that's 4 photos, with no space aprox size 3x2.. you have to make sure though all your photos are rotated to landscape (horizontal)
5. press print.. voila.. you'll get 4 3x2 photos, in one 4x6 paper, with no paper wasted...

Unable to print multiple copies of PDF using reader X with new Windows 7 computer

I recently upgraded to a new Windows 7 computer. Now when I try to print a PDF I can only print one copy. I have checked that my Mopier Mode is enabled and have tried everything I can think of. Why could I print multiple copies with Windows XP but can't with Windows 7?

How does that manifest itself:
you cannot change the number of copies on the Print panel?
you can change the number of copies, but it prints only one?

How can I print a web page to a hard copy with Adobe? When I print this particular page in the usual way it prints only the text of that page, not the photo that's also part of that page.

I have Adobe SendNow, but I can buy another Adobe product if it will solve my web page printing problem.
