Print entire Keychain in Mountain Lion?

I'm trying to print my entire keychain from mountain lion. Here's what I've tried already.
- I started out at this post: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1343386
- Then I found out that the Keychain Scripting.app isn't available in ML.
- I downloaded Usable Keychain Scripting.app from here: http://www.red-sweater.com/blog/2035/usable-keychain-scripting-for-lion
- Now I'm getting an error when I try to run it: Syntax error: Expected class name but found constant (or something, my system is in dutch so it's a bit hard to translate). The error relates to the statement "Internet" on the line: "set KeyList to every Internet key of current keychain".
I'm not very fluent in applescript. Has anyone any ideas?
Regards,
Fabian
The script:
set osXKeychainScriptingPath to (path to scripting additions from system domain as Unicode text) & "Usable Keychain Scripting.app:"
set theSecuridPIN to {}
tell application "Usable Keychain Scripting" to launch
tell application "Keychain Access" to launch
using terms from application "Usable Keychain Scripting"
          tell application osXKeychainScriptingPath
set KeyList to every Internet key of current keychain
                    repeat with aKey in KeyList
set theSecuridPIN to theSecuridPIN & ((name of aKey) & tab & (account of aKey) & tab & (password of aKey) & return) as text
                    end repeat
          end tell
end using terms from
tell application "Usable Keychain Scripting" to quit
tell application "Keychain Access" to quit
tell application "Finder"
open for access file (((path to desktop folder) as text) & "Passwords") with write permission
                    set theFile to result
                    write theSecuridPIN to theFile
          close access theFile
end tell

FWIW, this revised script works in SL through Mavericks, but requires the Usable Keychain Scripting.app vers 1.0b4 reside in /System/Library/ScriptingAdditons/.
set osXKeychainScriptingPath to ¬
(path to scripting additions from system domain as Unicode text) ¬
  & "Usable Keychain Scripting.app:" -- one liner
set theSecuridPIN to {}
tell application "Usable Keychain Scripting" to launch
tell application "Keychain Access" to launch
using terms from application "Usable Keychain Scripting"
  tell application osXKeychainScriptingPath
set KeyList to every internet password of current keychain
  repeat with aKey in KeyList
set theSecuridPIN to theSecuridPIN & ((name of aKey) & tab & ¬
(account of aKey) & tab & (password of aKey) & return) as text
  end repeat
  end tell
end using terms from
tell application "Usable Keychain Scripting" to quit
tell application "Keychain Access" to quit
tell application "Finder"
open for access file (((path to desktop folder) as text) & "Passwords") with write permission
  set theFile to result
  write theSecuridPIN to theFile
  close access theFile
end tell

  • Cannot Print after upgrading to Mountain Lion

I can not longer print since upgrading to Mountain Lion 10.8.2.  Prior to the upgrade I was printing; now, even though my printer is on the list (HP Officejet 7410xi, All-in-one) as being compatible, I still get "Power PC applications are not longer supported".  On HP's website there was no help since the ML Upgrade contained the necessary drivers to print with.  Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated.  Oh, I am new at this...so, please...KIS (Keep It Simple).  Thanks!

I have a very similar problem that this solution has not fixed.
My HP 882C was no longer supported when I upgraded to Mountain Lion.  I worked around for awhile through Windows that I have running on the Virtual Machine.  Then, that went south.
So I now have a HP Officejet 6700.  I've unsuccessfully tried to install it as a wireless; it kept hanging trying to creat the print queue.  Now, I've connected it via the UCB and still can't get it installed.  I did what you've suggested here.  After deleting the files and downloading and installing the software from Apple I rebooted the system.  It recognized that there was a printer and began setting up the 'HP Officejet 6700...'.  It began processing with the message "Finding software..." displayed.  Then it stopped with the following message:
"Can't install the software for the HP Officejet 6700 because it is not currently available from the Software Updaye Service."
I've also downloaded the software from HP several times, not succeeding there either.

  • HP Printer issue after installing Mountain Lion

Hi, a few days ago I posted the following question regarding a printer issue and so far I have not been able to fix the problem.  Here's the original question and I will  continue the explanation after this....
Hi, I am a fairly new iMac owner and I am really happy with my apple, however I have an issue with my printer and I kind a "blame" Montain Lion for it.  I have been using this HP Laserjet P2015 dn printer for a long time, initially with Windows and now with iMac.  The first year approximately there was no problem at all to print and the transition from Windows to Mac with the printer had no difficulties at all.  It was connected wirelessly via router.  After downloading Montain Lion I notice the printer intermittently lost connectivity.  The only way to print was turn off and turn on and it will print fine until the next time.  Now out of the blue it's doing the same thing so frequently I can't print a complete document at all.  It starts, and finish without printing the entire document or not connect at all.  I have tried everything, including a static IP address for the printer, connect the printer to the computer via USB, downloading all the printer updates from HP and nothing seems to work.  Just now, I did it again (for 100 times so far), delete the printer, reinstall and it's doing the same thing.  It connects fine (either via IP or USB) and it last connected only for a minute or two.  That's it.  It's a shame, because I like the printer.  The printing quality is great and to add more pain, I recently got a new ink cartridge ($100.00) capable of printing 3000 pages.  It has 70% of ink still.  Any computer sabby person out there has any ideas for me? Like I said, I've done everything.... inluding,
    1.  Remove the printer
    2.  Update the drivers
    3.  Assign a static IP address to the printer
    4.  Connect via USB
    5.  Disconnect the  printer for a while and restart the whole process again
    6.  Did a "cold start" to the printer
I don't know what to do, and I don't want to spend more $$$$$ on a new printer.  Is Montain Lion to be blame for?  Please advise me.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
At this point I do have the printer connected only via USB, prints one page (perfectly) and then goes offline.  Before installing Mountain Lion I did use the printer with my Mac for almost a year with no issues at all.  I even downloaded Mountain Lion again thinking of any flaws during initial installation.  I've done all the updates, drivers, uninstall, re install, repair disk permission, static ip address....you name it... I've done it all and nothing seems to work.  What makes no sense to me is that prints so great only one page and then is gone.... I would be happy to know the printer is dead and go get a new one but in my mind if it prints ok one page it still works.  I don't want to have a new printer and find out it does the same thing.  I can't keep myself away from blaming Mountain Lion.  IS THERE ANY WAY TO REMOVE MOUNTAIN LION WITHOUT THE RISK OF DAMAGING THE COMPUTER????  PERHAPS GOING BACK WILL PROVE ME MOUNTAIN LION IS THE CULPRIT.  Just saying... I am totally frustrated.  I guess the next step is to get a baseball bat and fix the printer once and for all.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Any fix for this? I have the same problem after upgrade.  It's off by many seconds.  Thank you.

  • HP Envy printer issues after loading Mountain Lion

Hi Since loading Mountain Lion on Macbook Air Command P on a web page prints only part of that page? For example in printing a bank statement, the description but not the amounts printed and many of the headings did not print.

Thank you to all but after rebooting, problem seems to have disappeared.

  • How do I access Epson's print utility interface from Mountain Lion

How do I run a "print utility" on my Epson Stylus C120 and R1800 printers (older Epson models) with the new Mountain Lion operating system? Since I updated to Mountain Lion, I can no longer access functions like head cleaning/aligning or ink status.
Epson hasn't created updated "drivers" for these printer models and Apple's built-in dialog box for print set-up and other settings don't provide access to printer maintenance functions.
I can't use my printers until this problem is solved. HELP!!!

    scraps,
I successfully accessed all the utility functions and print settings of my Epson printers through the new Mountain Lion interface AFTER I first wiped out all my old Epson drivers (listed under "print and scan" in system preferences). Once those old drivers are deleted, plug in your printers (with the power on) and check for a software update on your computer. If the new software doesn't appear, turn your printer on and off while you check again. You should be able to regain all the functions of you printer with the updated drivers. For more detailed step by step instructions on uninstalling and updating your drivers, you can contact Epson--I didn't keep the instructions they e-mailed me or I'd pass them on to you. This is a frustrating prob but it can be solved. I hope you are up and running quickly!

  • Why can't I print after upgrading to Mountain Lion with my Canon MF4450?

I've upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion and now I can't print with my Canon MF4450.
I've already downloaded the new updated drivers from Canon's website and installed them.  I've even tried uninstalling the old printer drivers, completely deleting the printer, and re-installing the printer again.
Strange thing is, this doesn't happen with ALL apps.  For example, when I use Preview app to print, it hangs and I have to force close the app.  If I use TextEdit app to print, it hangs as well.  Same thing occurs with Notes app.  There's no error messages, it just freezes and hangs until I force it to quit.  However, after I force the app to quit, I get asked if I want to report the issue to Apple.  Here's the details from that error:

  • How can I print two-sided with Mountain Lion and an Epson WF-2540?

I just purchased an Epson WF-2540 printer with two-sided printing capabilities. The manual includes easy to follow instructions on doing this with a PC. However, it doesn't seem to be present in OSX Mountain Lion (10.8.4). I have looked all over for the answer, but nothing helps with this specific problem. It seems like, before Mountain Lion, there was a simple check-box within system preferences>print and fax>options and supplies>drivers that said "duplexer." Now, that option is not present. I would love to be able to use this function on my new printer. Thanks for all of your help!

    I have the answer ...
The Epson WF-2540 does not appear to be a two-sided printer!
    Reference this article:
    http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&sku=C11CC36 201
The following is extracted from that article:
There is no reference anywhere in what I've shown or the rest of the article to two-sided printing.
Compare that to my Epson Workforce 645, which is a two sided printer.  Here's what it says in the Epson writeup:
... and indeed my options under the Layout dropdown menu look a lot different from yours, and from there I can choose two sided (whether I've attached as AirPrint or not, by the way).

  • Configuring an Apple LaserWriter 12/640 Printer to work with Mountain Lion

I have an Apple LaserWriter 12/640PS printer that works great.  But since LION and now MOUNTAIN LION I cannot connect to it.  Previously I had an ethernet cable going from my D-Link DIR-635 Router to a LocalTalk (AppleTalk) adapter which then plugs into the printer into it's "Ethernet" (AppleTalk or also called the EtherTalk) port.
OK now I no longer have the D-Link router, rather a new (latest 5th generation) Apple Extreme. More info: my ISP changed some things and the LaserWriter is now "set" on an IP address of:  192.168.0.123  which seems to be out of the range of my ISP allotted numbers – but perhaps I can change that manually by accessing my ISP's modem via the website / setup area??
BUT I am thinking that since I really only need to print to this LaserWriter from my one MacBook Pro running 10.8.2 Mountain Lion – could I not find either a Parallel to USB adapter or some other (USB to DIN8-"LocalTalk" port)???  I used to have some software and a cable (Parallel to DIN8) for my PowerBook back in 1994 that let me print to a parallel-port only printer back then, seems like yesterday actually…
The LaserWriter has these 3 ports:  LocalTalk (DIN8 type I think); EtherTalk (not an RJ45 cable!) and Parallel.
I also have a G4-733 Mac from 2001 that can startup in OS 9.2.2 -- but I don't seem to find the Printer with that (via the Ethernet cable to the adapter to the EtherTalk port of the LaserWriter printer).  This G4-733 does not have "DIN8" ports - just USB (I believe 2.0 but not certain - USB 2 came out in 1999 so I think this is 2.0 and I can check when I next boot this Mac).  It also has FW400 and SCSI but don't think that helps much for printing.  Ethernet RJ45 of course also.
Any ideas on what to do here.  Again, it worked before via my current set-up and perhaps the key is just changing the IP address (or enabling this address via my Apple Extreme or via the ISP's modem setup via the web address).
Hope this is somewhat clear--- think I have most of the information on one page here.  I can run tests, buy adapters or cables if necessary-- have enough cartridges to print another 10,000 pages at least!!
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Stephen,
Somehow I missed this topic as well. For that printer, you would attract more attention in another area (this one).
You have a number of options along the lines of what greg sahli suggested. I do not have that exact model LaserWriter, but I have successfully used a wired print server, a wireless print server, and a USB to parallel cable adapter to print from current production Macs to a similar model LaserWriter. All three options worked effortlessly. As long as yours is a PostScript printer, which it is, it should work.
See this post for details and options: Laserwriter Pro 630, Mountain Lion, and Macbook Pro

  • How do I get my HP M1217nfw LaserJet printer to work with Mountain Lion

I have an HP LaserJet M1217nfw printer and a new Mac Mini with Mountain Lion. I need to print wirelessly. I updated the printer's firmware, but still get an error message saying "You need to install software to use this printer. To install the software, choose Software Update from the Apple menu. If the software for your printer isn’t available in Software Update, contact the manufacturer of your printer." There is no software update available from Apple. HP says they do not have a driver for Mountain Lion. Help!

The printer already shows up in my printers when I go to preferences. In the link you gave me,
Under Nearby Printers , click the name of your printer.NOTA:Make sure that the printer kind is Bonjour or Bonjour Multifunction .
Click the Use box, and then select AirPrint from the pop-up menu if it is not selected already.figura 1: Selecting an AirPrint printer in the Add window
I do not have the option of "Nearby Printers, and do not have the screen shown in the screen shot where I can click "use" and select "AirPrint".

  • HT3669 My HP Officejet J4680 is now useless in OS X 10.8, has anyone had success in getting the HP printer to work in Mountain Lion

I recently installed Mountain Lion, now my printer/fax/scanner is useless. If anyone has been able to fully use an HP Officejet J4680 please let me know how to get it to work, I am strongly considering on restoring my iMac to Snow Leopard where I can take advantage of my peripherals.

For users who's printer/scanner does not have a compatible driver from their manufacturer:
How do I scan or print with the driver from Apple Software Update?
Depending on your printer and the type of driver update, you might need to scan in a different way than you did before you installed Mountain Lion.
Scan from the Print & Scan window:
Place the item that you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load it into the automatic document feeder (ADF) if your printer has one.
Click the Apple menu (# ), and then click System Preferences .
    Click Print & Scan (# ).
Click your printer in the left pane.
Click the Scan tab, and then click Open Scanner .
Click Show Details . The details of the scan display, including options to change scan settings.Figure 5: Show Details scanning screen# Image: Show Details scanning screen
Change any settings as necessary, and then click Scan .
    NOTE:
Make sure to select either the Flatbed mode or the Document Feedermode, depending on your printer and how you plan to scan.
    Hope this helps

  • Can't print from mini with mountain lion to To printer being shared on ppc with 10.5.8

Since installing mountain lion on my mini, I cannot print to my shared printer connected to my iMac running 10.5.8. Works fine from another iMac with 10.5.8.

    OK, here's more info
The printer is a Canon MP160 that is connected via USB to 17" imac running OS 10.5.8. After installing Mountain Lion on the Mac Mini, I cannot print to that shared printer on my network. I can add the printer to the mini but when i try to print, i see the file in the print queue on the mini, and it processes and looks normal but there is no activity on the imac and nothing prints.
This worked perfectly with previous operating systems, ie snow leopard and then lion. I have done everything I could do to fix this including resetting the printing system on both computers.
I tested the shared printer from another imac that i have that is running 10.5.8 also and it works perfectly.

  • Cannot print PDFs after installing mountain lion

I recently upgraded to mountain lion and have been having a series of problems!
The latest is that after updating my drivers for my printer Brother 7840W, I am able to print word documents. But I just found out that I cannot print PDFs. It says, "looking for printer..."  However, I can cancel that and go and print a word document. So, i'm at a loss as to what the issue is. Any thoughts?

  • Any new way to print your keychain passwords in Lion

I see in past (2006) posts old scripting methods but didn't work in Lion. Anyone have a recent solution?

If you're talking about my script, it still works in Lion. However, do note that you need to ensure that the Keychain Scripting.app exists in /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions/. Apple has decided not to transfer useful additions from Snow Leopard. In addition to that one, you might consider also transferring the FontSyncScripting.app and the /URL Access Scripting.app.
