PRINTING A LIST OUTPUT WITHOUT USING SP01 TCODE

Dear All
I have developed an pf report which is of list output format i have used WRITE statements ...and i want to print this output ; like whenever i click print option on menu bar it should ask for print preview option and after confirmation i will print it without going to SP01 tcode .is there any way i could achieve this functionality .. kindly help me in this regard or suggest me a better way of doing it

Set Printer for List Output

Is there any way to set a default printer in the program for printing the list output?

Hi,
When you get the list output .
click on print button to print it. A dialog box will come.
In that dialog box, there will be settings button . when you click on this button, you will get many options and the value of those options that can be set defualt for that report output.
In that there is s option of printer , select that option and enter a value and then set that as default.

Printing report list output in A4 paper

Hi!
Is it possible to fit the list output of a report having a line-size of 240 into an A4 paper ?...when I was trying to print the output is being cut. Some columns at the right were not printed since all columns do not fit on the paper even on landscape. The system defaults format is X_65_255 which has 65 rows and 255 lines. How can I make it fit an A4 paper?

Hi Mervin,
To make printing possible on A4 paper you'll need to define a new output format.
For this use transaction SPAD.
Press the button "Full Administration" (F7).
Select the tab "Device Types".
Press the button "Page formats".
Set the screen in Change Mode (press Change button or F8).
Press the Create button (Shift+F1).
Give a name (starting with Z, like Z_LAND).
Select Orientation "Landscape".
Set papersize width/unit to 255 CH
Set papersize height/unit to 65 LN
Save your work.
Go back to tha SPAD tabpages.
Press the button "Format Types".
Set the screen in Change Mode (press Change button or F8).
Press the Create button (Shift+F1).
Enter in the screen a format name (starting with Z or Y).
Set the format type to type L (Format type for ABAP lists).
Set the page format to your created format (like Z_LAND).
Enter the number of lines that can be printed on A4 (e.g. 65)
Enter the number characters (columns) that can be printed on one row on A4 (e.g. 255).
Give a comprehensive comment.
Save your work.
Go back to tha SPAD tabpages.
Select tab "Devices / servers".
Press the button "Output devices".
Select your printer.
Set the screen in Change Mode (press Change button or F8).
Go to tabpage "Tray info".
Choose the right tray for your selected printer and fill in the previously created page format.
Save your work.
Leave transaction SPAD.
This format can be used to print your reports.
Remove your own printerdefault (Via menu System --> User profile --> Own data, tabpage Defaults).
When printing a dialog appears where you now can choose the modified printer (with modified page settings).
As you can see, this is more of a job the the admin guys.
As a remark: The default page formax X_65_255 should print 255 columns on paper (landscape). Most likely a small character set is used for this. The character size can also be modified (in the same transaction) to fit an entire row.
Hope this gives you a clue where you can influence the way lists are printed.

Printing the list output.

How can I print from an iPad without using wireless?

I'm in a situation where I need to print something from the iPad, but will not be in a wireless network. Is there no utility that allows me to go directly from the iPad to any printer? I haven't purchased it yet, so I'm willing to get pretty much anything to make this work.

DAC output without using DAC configure mode

Is it possible to send out anything without using DAC configure (single or quadrature) mode?

I am also using the the NI PCI-5640R and I've been "studying" the program: "Frequency Translation", my intention is to modify it and produce a closed-loop between I and O.
I am also interested in transferring what i am reading through the
input port, directly to the output port but filtered and with a
phase-shift (final Objective: Q-Control).
I need to visualize the signal in the HOST, so I need both FIFOS (DMA FIFO and Local FIFO), and the "Quadrature Mode DAC Configure"
I would like to know:
1. How can I directly transfer the data acquired through the ADC port into the DAC? (it is unclear due to the Event structure in the "Frequency Translation" example)
2. How can I configure the "Quadrature Mode DAC Configure.vi" for it to bandpass-filter the signal comming from the ADC at a given frequency and BW, specified by the user in the HOST?
3. Is it possible to configure the "Quadrature Mode DAC Configure.vi" to produce a phase-shifted signal (phase shift also specified by user in the host)
I've been working for almost 2 months trying to program the 5640R, doing examples, and modifying them. After playing with different examples I've come up to the conclusion that the "Frequency Translation" example is the one that best-suites my application. My problem now is that I AM LOST because i need more information regarding the configuration parameters of ALL the different VI's inside the NI-5640R VI Tree to exploit them correctly, specially the "Quadrature Mode DAC Configure.vi".
Can anyone please help me?

Problem with Mass Printing of Out Bound deliverie using VL06F Tcode.......

I am facing a issue i don't know whether this functionality is supported by the T Code VL06f,
The Scenario is as follows,
User selects list of outbound delivers by selecting the output type for delivers and then selects the outbound delivers type
like single processing or repeat processing etc.... based on his selection the list of documents gets populated.
user selects few documents from the available list and then executes as per the logic written for the T code it is calling the driver program and smart form associated with the output type. Every time it calls the driver program associated with it , it will give a print preview for printing and a PDF file to download(as written in the driver program) and now my questions are:
1. Can we download all the selected delivery numbers in to single pdf instead of individual PDF's.
2. Is this functionality achieved by VL06f transaction?

Can I print from my iPad to a printer on my network without using my desktop computer as a server?

I am looking for a simple way to print from my iPad to the printer connected to our in-home network without buying a new printer or requiring that one of my computers be used as the "server." I looked into Printopia, but it appears to require going through one of the printers that is already connected via the network to our printer.

Bummer. Just when I think Apple has dealt with everything, I have an issue that they have not addressed. I'm not clever enough to know why they have not made this feature a part of iOS, but it seems a pretty simple idea. If my desktop and laptop can communicate with my printer through my wireless network, it would seem a logical extension that my iOS devices could as well. Oh well...

In the templates included in the drivers/software, there are only a few variations to use. I want to design the print-layout myself, (a blank CD/DVD), but have so far not found any way to do that. Does anyone know how to do it

We only support disc printing with the supplied Easy Photo Print and My Image Garden software. You are welcome to try using third party programs, but as they are not supported, the only steps I can recommend would be to make sure that hte paper size is set to CD Disc within the software.

I want to use Express to connect a printer to my network without using an ethernet cable.

Cannot connect Airport Express into Airport Extreme netwrok...it is within range, but amber flashes and it is not recognized.

Well I just added an Airport Express to my network without doing any of that. All I did was check to be sure my network was setup to be extended which it was. I plugged in the Express and it joined my network no problem.

This is only a simple sales receipt application that uses dgv and textboxes to push its data to dataset to the crystal report, a simple one but there are instances that it is very slow.
But I'm having trouble implementing this using SSRS, since I'm only new to this one, wherein I created the report using report wizard, with two button options inside the form for print preview or direct print selection. Actually, it is very easy to implement
with print preview because it uses reportviewer. My problem is that how can I print the report directly without using a reportviewer?

After some further studies with ReportViewer controls and with the use of this tutorial @ : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms252091.aspx, which helps me a lot on how to print a report without using a report viewer, I found out what is missing
with my code above and helps solve my question.

Front end printing from list report

Hi,
I want to print my list output report without creating spool.My requirement is to have print button on the output list and when user click on it it will open windows popup to print it instead of sap ones which create spool.

Hello,
You must configure the printer to use method (type G) for Windows Printing instead of LOCL (Type F).
Also you must set the following Reg Key for the users on the Citrix server for this to work.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPlpd\SAPLPD
Type: String
Name: SwinDataType
Value: EMF

you should set the table parameter selectionMode to multi or multinolead
than you can select multiple records,
these you can retrieve: lt_selected_elements = node->get_selected_elements( ).
