Printing problem when adding a button to print the whole page
Hello,
I added a button with printing option = Apply to self, Print = page.
The result is that it prints only the i-view in which the button is located. I want the whole page to be printed. The page is composed of several i-views and I also use layers.
Has someone an idea ?

I received exact the same problem case during our visual composer developments. On SPS 14 the print functionality worked as expected with the print option u201Cprint pageu201D. After the implementation of SPS 16 we had to use u201Cprint screenu201D.

When I deploy the SiteCollection, the TopNavigation user control is working correctly. Unfortunately when i modify the masterpage over SharePoint Designer, the following error message comes allways, regardless of the art of changes i did in the MAsterPage
( even if I open the MasterPage, add an space and do save/close the MasterPage).
"Problem when adding user control in my custom master page, Parser Error Message: The referenced file '/_layouts/Navigation/TopNavigation.ascx' is not allowed on this page."

When we use UserControl in SharePoint Page or MasterPage, and the UserControl is kept in any folder other than ControlTemplates, we will got the error. Here is an article about this issue and provided the solution:

Is there a way to print an outline of your keynote that fits the whole page?
I want to be able to just print the outline notes for my keynote. When I go to print and choose outline, the outline appears, but it is very small and only takes up the left side of the paper. I want the outline to fit the whole printed page.

Printing problem when PDF is sent to the printer with certain fonts - missing text
I'm running into a printing problem when PDFs containing certain characters of the Calibri font are used. The text in large sections of the PDF is missing on the paper version, but the text is there on the screen. It's also happened when the PDFs we created were e-mailed out to a client and printed on their printer. The problem is not present when printing directly from the programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, etc.). I've been trying to get tech support from Adobe on this, but every time I call they apologize and say they will call back in 4-6 hours with an answer. Same result each time, no call back. If anyone from Adobe is listening, it's case number 184891587. The font appears as an embedded subset when I look at the document properties. Sometimes deleting one or two Characters allows for larger text blocks to be printed - i.e. removing a long dash in bold from the heading of a paragraph makes the paragraph reappear when printed to paper from PDF. In all cases the PDF appears correct on the screen. Printing as an image allows the text to appear, but the image quality isn't acceptable for small text, even at the 600 dpi setting on the printer. If the PDF is sent out by e-mail, we do not have control over the end-user's printer setup anyway, so we need this to work in all cases.
The setup/process I'm using is as follows:
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-Bit
Microsoft Office 2013 - problem is present when printing documents from Word, Excel or Visio. Even other variations on documents.
I've tried Acrobat versions 11.0.0 to 11.0.5 as well as Acrobat Pro 11.0.0 and 11.0.1. Same Result

Client prints to Konica printer - Text missing
I print to the wide-format Ricoh (which also does 11x17) and the text is present.
Is there something I'm missing? Is the entire font not getting embedded into the PDF file? I noticed that rolling back to a much older version of the Calibri font (1.02 compared to 5.72) makes the problem mostly go away, but it's not completely gone. Is it possible the font is too large to be completely embedded? Where can I go from here?Success! At least for now. It looks like my problem was fixed with Adobe's most recent update, 11.0.06. I don't know if that's definately what solved the problem, but it sure sounds similar and this is the update that made the printing problem go away. We can't get the PDFs to fail at this point with our printers, even with Calibri 5.72. I'll come back to thread if we have printing problems at the end-user locations. -
ADF button submits the whole page even on partial submit=true

I hav a jspx page with two input boxes and three select one choice and a clear button
on clicking the clear button it subimts the whole page and fetches value for select one choice mapped to manage bean everytime even on putting partial subimt=trueTwo years ago I was confused by the same behavior, so I researched the problem to come eventually to the conclusion that everything had been fine and in accordance to the documentation.
In brief, it is correct behavior a button to submit the whole page even if the button is configured as partialSubmit="true". Please, refer to these articles in the documentation for clarification:

It is seen from the second article that command components (e.g. a command button, event type "action") are not event roots, which means that the whole enclosing page "boundary" is submitted. If the button is a part of a subform (<af:subform>), a region, a popup or a PanelCollection, then the boundary is the corresponding subform, region, popup or PanelCollection, so only this part of the page is submitted and processed by the optimized lifecycle. However, if the button is not part of such component, then the whole page is submitted and processed by the lifecycle (even if the button is configured as partialSubmit="true"), but only the partial targets of the button will be refreshed on the screen (if the button is configured as partialSubmit="true").
If you want your button to submit only a part of the page, then the easiest correct way to do that is to surround that part with <af:subform>.

P.S. Input and selection components have different PPR behavior from command components. It is seen from the second article above that all the input and selection components are event roots (in contrast to command components!) (see event type "valueChange"), so if some input or selection component is configured as autoSubmit="true", it will not submit the whole page but only itself and the components configured as partial targets of it. -
JTable sorting - problem when adding elements (complete code inside)
I�m writing this email with reference to a recent posting here but this time with the code example. (I apologize for the duplicated posting � this time it will be with the code)
Problem: when adding more elements to the JTable (sorted) the exception: ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is thrown.
Example: If the elements in the table are 10 and then the user requests for 8 � the table will produce the correct result. However, if the user will ask for 11 items (>10) the exception will be thrown.
The program: The program below (compiles and running). A JTable is constructed with 3 items, when you click the button - the return result should be 4 items - this will generate the error, WHY?
I would highly appreciate your thoughts why this is happening and most importantly � how to fix it.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

I created a magazine using a template including bleeds. When I exported to make a PDF, it cut off part of the document when uploading for printing. When I incude bleeds, it makes the document too big for printing. I need help

Right, so to advise you we'd need to know the particulars of MagCloud's spec for your project; format, trim size, bleed, etc.
It's doubtful that anything happened "when uploading for printing," so long as you were uploading a PDF, as opposed to the native InDesign file. Did the PDF look right to you before uploading? -

P1006 printing problem, covering the whole page
I just bought new p1006 printer. Problem is that the whole page is covered (the page is not white - it is gray). The text is ok, but.
I've tried reinstaling Windows, didn't help. Tried to print from live Ubuntu, didn't print anything (Detected the printer fine. But you try to print something, doesn't report any error and doesn't print anything.).
The printer is defective? Toner cartrige defective? Something else?If you writing you input parameters in TOP_OF_PAGE system will considered that as header area. so that portion will not comes under scrolling.
As standard practice usually input values will be displayed at end of the report.

Can't print a graph on the whole page in landscape
Hello!
I have XY graph that I want to print on the whole page in landscape orientation (paper A4).
On the screen the graph is small, so I do resizing, appending image to report, and then printing.
After sending it to the printer I get preview (from the printer software) and see that the graph uses only approx. 5/6 of the page in the width, in other words the height of the graph takes the whole height of the page (21 cm) and the width of the graph leaves 5 cm of the page unused.
I tried to change the width and the height of the plot area to get proper ratio, but in vain.
If I set the height of the graph too large it goes beyond the page, but whatever I write to the width I always get 5 cm of the page unused on the right side. (not including 1 cm of the margin).
Note: surely, if you set small width you can get more space of the page unused, I'm talking about increasing the width of the graph.
Any ideas?
See attached for the vi. I tried to save it for 7.1 version but it can't, so you'll need LabView 8.0 to check it.
Also in attached you can find the page preview I get before it goes to printer.

It could be that you would need to install the entire LabVIEW 8.0.1 update rather than just the updated Run-Time Engine (RTE). Here is a link to the 8.0.1 update. If you download and install this version, you can then use the utility to mass compile or compile when you are prompted.

As a test, try dragging, while holding the Ctrl/Cmd modifier key, that "music" to Audio Track 2, and the "bird sounds" SFX file to Audio Track Audio Track 3. There have reports from other users, where the Fixed Audio Tracks, Narration and Soundtrack have caused problems. Those problems seem to be Project-specific. If your Timeline does not have Audio Tracks 1 - 3 already, you can use Add Tracks. The use of the Ctrl/Cmd key, changes how PrE handles existing files on the Timeline, when adding Assets. This usually comes into play, when one is adding Video, or Stills, and should not really affect those, when only adding Audio, but remember, this is only a test.
