C410a thinks I want to print photos when I want to just print paper. Won't feed regular paper.

The printer thinks I want to print photos when I just want to print papre. The Photo Printing light is on. Won't feed regular paper.

You could use the iPrint App to accomplish this. The following thread has links to show how to install and use the iPrint App for Android, iPhone, and iPod products.

Try the Firefox SafeMode. <br />
    ''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.'' <br />
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)''
    # You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    # Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running. <br />
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

  • IPhoto prints photos in grayscale. Other apps print them in color.

If I print photos from iPhoto to a color printer (HP Photosmart 3300), they print as grayscale. They show as color in the print dialogs and in print preview, but they physically print as grayscale. If I print the same photos using Photoshop or Safari (for example) they correctly print in color. The photos have an RGB profile and the printer seems to have the right colorsync setup (printer setup utility, then printer utility to check). As I said, other apps print in color fine; only iPhoto doesn't.
    Any suggestions please?

  • Deskjet 3050A printer--paper won't feed into printer

I have checked for jammed paper and taken the printer apart as far as I can, but after five hours of trying to see why paper won't feed into the printer, I give up. Any ideas?

Step three "Clean the Pick Rollers" might help.
Try all the steps in order.

  • Printing issue when using Intel Macs to print wirelessly via Airport

We seem to have a problem. It has come to light since using Intel based Macs running 10.4.7 and Airport to connect wirelessly to the internet and to print to a Acculaser C1900N with intel printer driver installed. When setting up by Bonjour and then printing to the printer it fails and an exclamation mark appears on the printer icon in the Dock. Appletalk is enabled for the port, just in case you ask.
Browsing the internet works fine, but the printing side fails every time.
When we insert a Ethernet cable everything works fine.
As far as I can see its not a System Software problem related to old macs running 10.4.7, but to new Intel macs running 10.4.7. I have tried this on a Intel Mac Mini and also an Intel MacBook the results are the same.
Please has anyone got a solution as we start a new term with these new macs in about two days and printing is a integral part of school life.

I have just configured a new Airport Extreme and I have just printed sucessfully to our printer. Weird its just a Graphite Airport base Station Issue. I am not sure if the problem occours with the Snow Airport Base Station....Ill have to try that one out. I am so happy that it works you wouldnt believe it.

  • Why does my iphone print ok when I am near the printer but will not print from other locations?

Just got a new HP Officejet Pro 8600 and everything works except that I cannot print from my iphone when I am not at home.  It works fine when I am near the printer.  It doesn't even show my printer when I try to print from a location other than at home.
    ADPROP

    Hi ADPROP,
The Airprint feature (direct printing from your iPhone) provide print functionality over the local network only.
You may install the HP ePrint Home & Biz app.
By enabling the ePrint feature for your printer, you may add the printer ePrint address within Settings > Manage ePrinters, then you will be able to print remotely through the app.
You may find more information of the app features below:

  • Printing problem when adding a button to print the whole page

    Hello,
I added a button with printing option = Apply to self, Print = page.
The result is that it prints only the i-view in which the button is located. I want the whole page to be printed. The page is composed of several i-views and I also use layers.
    Has someone an idea ?
    Thanks a lot,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
I received exact the same problem case during our visual composer developments. On SPS 14 the print functionality worked as expected with the print option u201Cprint pageu201D. After the implementation of SPS 16 we had to use u201Cprint screenu201D.
    Hopes this helps.
    Best regards

  • When printing not all specified pages print or when specifying what pages to print all pages print

I am using the deskjet 3050A printer  along with windows 7. When printing if I specify specific pages to print for example page 1,3,5 it will only print page 1 and 3. Sometimes when specifying what pages to print it will continue to print all pages. I'm not sure if it is an error with the wireless communincation.

    HI littlek5,
What program or application are you printing from ?
Does it do the same thing if you print from another application ?
If I helped you at all it would be great if you clicked the blue kudos star!

  • Print issues when going from develope to print

In LR5 when going from Develope to Print, I loose the picture and the print tab is greyed out.  Never had this problem before, did I do something wrong

Make sure the source remains the same - check the filmstrip.
The only suggestion is to place the batch for editing and printing into a collection or (temporary) quick collection and access the images from there in both modules.

  • Acrobat Professional 8: prints portrait when I want landscape

In Acrobat Pro 8, I have established 36 in x 48 in. as a custom page size. When I try to print a 36" x 48" Visio drawing that is in landscape orientation, Acrobat Pro 8 will render it, right side up, in portrait orientation (over two pages), even though I tell it "landscape" in the print dialogue box.
If I try to fake it out by specifying "portrait" in the print dialogue box, it gives me a warning that one or more pages are oriented differently. If I say "Proceed anyway", it will print it, right side up, in portrait orientation, over two pages. So either way, I'm going to get it in portrait orientation.
If I rotate the Visio drawing 90 degrees and set the Visio page setup to portrait, then tell Acrobat to print it portrait, Acrobat agains warns me that one or more pages is oriented differently (no it's not, I have rotated both the drawing and the page to portrait). If I say "proceed anyway", it will print that portrait image - landscape. On two pages.
I had this same problem with Acrobat Std 6; I can't find any help topics on this issue. Any ideas?

I was finally able to get my 36 x 48 document to print to Acrobat correctly, but I still don't think the software is behaving properly.
I created two custom page sizes; one calld "36 x 48 portrait", in which page width is 36 inches, and another called "36 x 48 landscape", in which the width is 48 inches.
To print my 36 x 48 landscape page to Acrobat,I chose "36 x 48 landscape", but the only way the page printed correctly was if I also set Adobe PDF Document Properties/Orientation to "Portrait". If I set it to "Landscape", it prints Portrait.

  • I don't want to import PHOTOS. I want to get only one into Lightroom for temporary work. How do I do this. (the photo is now in Photoshop Elements).

Don't want to import all photos from my camera or anywhere else. I only want to work on one image then put it back into Elements. Please tell me how to do this and I would appreciate a detailed answer. Please do not be vague.

Lightroom is not a file browser, It isn't anything like the organizer in Photoshop Elements. Lightroom uses a catalog, which is a database. That database keeps track of the location of images that have been imported, as well as all of the adjustments that you make to those images using Lightroom. The import process is a process of showing Lightroom where the images are located on your computer. You can't just open an image in Lightroom, make changes and then close it. Lightroom doesn't make changes to the original image. Your images are left in their pristine state. All the changes are stored in the catalog. And when it comes time to share an image that has been adjusted in Lightroom you need to export a copy that includes all of those changes. It's a different workflow, and one that you need to become accustomed to. I suggest that you watch a series of short tutorials that will help you understand more completely how Lightroom works.

  • Colors are printing incorrectly when exported to PDF but print fine from InDeisgn and Photoshop

Documents I create in Photoshop and InDesign and export to PDF print in different/wrong colors. The colors are fine when printed directly from Photoshop or InDesign, they look correct when viewing the PDF, but change when printed from the PDF (specifically blues print as purple). How do I fix this?

This really sounds like a color management issue.
How are you creating the PDF files from InDesign or Photoshop? We recommend using the PDF/X-4 settings for proper printing from Acrobat or any direct PDF RIP/printer.
Also would like to know what type of printer you are printing to.

  • How can I get my files to print? when i go to the print page they show up a black page .

I seem to be having trouble getting downlaoded pdfs to print off. I can view them and they look ok but then i go to the print setup and all that shows is a black page. If i try to open the saved file from the desktop it say the file is damaged or corrupt . this doesnt always happen. sometimes it's fine, so idont know what is wrong, the file , my printer , adobe reader?? can anyone help?

HI thanks for that Pat, but doesn't seemed to have fixed it . I dont have that option on my print set up.
this is message i get when i try to open the file.     Adobe Reader could not open 'calleen-2014-a4-form.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
when i am viewing the document online i dont have any access to adobe reader menus or bar at the top, then i go to print from safari browser and then the page in the print box is black , no image. Any other suggestions . thanks

  • Effect of Adobe "print" settings when using PDF-Maker or printing to PDF

I have accidentally found that the fonts and ('microscopic') visual appearance of a document can change depending upon the setting of the option "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" which is accessed under Print > Properties > Adobe PDF Settings from within MS Word (2003).  [Acrobat 9.1.0 Pro (trial)].
I had initially thought this was a difference between the print-to-PDF route, and the PDF-Maker route.  There may be a difference, but the more important effect is the settings on the PDF printer, which you might not think to set if using the PDF-Maker. That is, the settings of the PDF printer affect the result of using the PDF-Maker.
Apparently it doesn't matter whether 'system fonts' are embedded in the document or not (for this example).
    Examples follow.
    —DIV
P.S. See my initial query at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/419516.

I am struggling a bit to make sense out of all the files, but a general comment on the process is this. PDF Maker is basically a preprocessor for the Adobe PDF printer. The settings in the PDF Maker preferences can override the settings in the printer. What PDF Maker does is to basically create PDF Marks in the PS file that the printer creates to allow for Distiller to create bookmarks and such. For a comparison, you need to see which job settings are used in each and the options that each job settings uses. Including the system fonts in the PS does not make any difference except to make the PS file smaller. The system will go get the fonts at the time that Distiller creates the PDF (at least that is supposed to be the process). The job settings file will make a difference about whether a font will be embedded or not. As I recall, there were different fonts embedded and used in various versions of your PDFs. The fonts can be viewed with the font tab of the document properties.
This does not answer the questions, but may give you some idea about the process and what to look for as you create these files. It may be that different job settings are used and such, causing a comparison of apples and oranges. I don't have time to look further now, but that might give you some things to consider. (I may not have helped much here since my comments are apparently similar to what I said in the other post).
