Printing process in background

is there any way of printing an open document in acrobat in background
like indesign has export to pdf
so i dont have to watch the cancel button?

Check the Format Properties of the Output Device 'DL02'. I guess may be it is not supporting with Columns '296'. may be it is created for '255' columns only.
we can check this properties when u process a report to run in Background from ur selection screen, a pop-up with output device screen will appear, in this if you select the push button 'PROPERTIES' & check for the Columns....
If that is the case, contact ur basis team to solve this issue.

Printer adds a background to all graphics

My Officejet Pro has started printing a colored background all of my photos and drawings where there should be white space. If i print in color, the background is a light beige. If I print in BW, it is a light grey. On both, you see individual dots of color fairly easily. This just started recently. It applies to both existing files and new ones.
It does not matter what program the photo or document was created in--Microsoft Word, Publisher, Libra Office Writer, etc. It even started doing it on my logo on the invoices that I print from Quickbooks.
If I scan and paste a line drawing into a word processing program, the background fills the whole box that I pasted the drawing in. For photographs, it prints the beige or grey color everywhere in the photo that should be white.
I have run all of the print diagnostics from HP and they all say it is fine. I have also run the troubleshooter from HP and from Windows, and neither found a problem.

Welcome back to the HP Support Forums! I understand when you print pages to your HP Officejet Pro 8600 the background is filled on the printouts. No matter which program you print from this happens. You have ran the print diagnostics but they all show the printer is fine.
Are you able to make a copy without the background being filled? If the Copy is producing the same results then we know it is the hardware. You will need to contact our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region.

If the Copy comes out fine, then we have a driver issue. Continue below:
1. Unplug the USB if using a direct connection.
2. Remove the HP OJ 8600 software from your computers Control Panel's Uninstall a program option.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Make sure all the OJ 8600 software is gone from the programs list as well as your HP folder listed under the All programs in your Start Menu.
5. Now go ahead and download the software and drivers for your OJ 8600 (DO NOT plug in USB until the software prompts you to):

6. Go ahead and print a test page.

Windows Server 2008R2 running Remote Desktop Services reports printer process does not exist when installing PDF printer

Windows Server 2008R2 running Remote Desktop Services reports printer process does not exist when installing PDF printer, And when Installing network printers from the domain controller it reports it cannot connect to printer. I can ping all
network devices. I can connect to the internet.
On boot I get a netlogon 5719 error followed by service control manager errors 7023,7001 and a group policy error 1129.
Clients can connect to the remote application and RDP operates to connect to the server internally and externally.
The domain controller is another server 2008r2 box. I have scoured the internet but have not found any solutions that work yet.

After referring to your post, it can be identified that the issue which you are facing is mostly due to some network issue in your environment. Please recheck your network connection issue between computer and domain controller.
Can you able to ping with IP address and also with fully qualified name of a domain controller in the users' and computers' domain. If it fails states that name resolution issue with computer and domain controller. Are you using MS DHCP Relay agent then there’s
available Hotfix for the particular Event ID. Please go through this KB 2459530 to fix the error event ID.
As per the net logon error 5719 which you are facing states that the client component of Netlogon was unable to locate a DC for the domain it was trying to perform an operation against. Below is one of the reason. If this is being logged on a DC and the event
refers to the DC's own domain, something might be preventing the client component of Netlogon from starting a network session (to itself or to another DC in the domain). The following event 7001 & 7023 states start & stop operation service. Please
go through beneath article for more details.
1. Event ID 5719 is logged when you start a computer
2. Netlogon 5719 and the Disappearing Domain [Controller]
3. Event ID 1129 — Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy

Mac OS X 10.7 drivers for HP LaserJet 1300: installation at the "Add Printer" process ended, every time, with message "Currently drivers for this printer are UNavailable..."! PLEASE HELP?

APPLE [see Apple Support's Article HT 3669] says Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) has drivers for this Printer.
But, every time I've tried installing it to my Mac Book Pro (which came with OS X 10.7), it does recognize that the Printer (connected via USB cable) is HP LaserJet 1300 -- in fact, right below, this statement appears: "The drivers for this Printer are available...". But, when it comes to the actual process of downloading, the "Add Printer" window -- after 20+ minutes of its "searching" for the drivers -- always ends with the message: "Currently drivers for this printer are UNavailable... contact the manufacturer."!!! (Can you imagine? Apple says it's available... but its own "Add Printer" process says it's UNavailable!)
I went to HP's support site, and it, too, says that drivers for this Printer are available! -- see the 2 links:

You haven't installed any of the Photoshop updates for CS5.
Go download and install the updates.

Two transactions, same program, processed in background task problem

i got something here that bugs me.
I have done a report. Nothing special, simple selection screen, selection of data, and output via SALV.
One of my selection screen fields (a parameter) is VKBUR and it is "obligatory".
2 weeks ago i got the requirement to create a copy of this program, and adopt VKBUR as select option.
Since i didnt want changeanomalies i decided not to duplicate the program, but just add a second transaction to my program.
In a routine at event at-selection-screen output, i´m hiding either the parameter or the select option, depending on which tcode was used.
In some routine which gets triggered at the event at-selection-screen i´m moving either what we got in our parameter to our local range we use for the select, or just assign the select option to our local range, or process an error message if according field is not filled. Yeah that obligatory condition is done by myself since i cant just set the obligatory addition to the statement.
This all works quite fine so far.
BUT:
Today i hear that the end-users process that report in background task by pressing F9.
Problem is now that when it is processed in background task, sy-tcode is initial, so i dont know which of the transactions the user picked, and so i dont know which of the two fields has to be filled.
Sure i could do another report, containing just my second selection screen, and when this is checked, do a submit on my real report, tho i still believe there must be some more elegant way.
Any ideas?

Unfortunateley those subtotals cant be handeled by the layout, thats why i manually add them.
But you got me back on track! right now i´m for your solution.
right now i´m having just ONE selection screen with the select option on it.
User can decide if he fills just one value or more.
In the end i loop over my output table and look if there are records of different VKBUR´s.
If there are i know he wants subtotals and process them. If its just data of one VKBUR i can spare myself the hassle as there is anyway just one records per VKBUR so subtotaling this wouldnt make sense.

How to print process instruction in process order.

Hi dudes,
,y client is not having Process management interface, but they want to maintain process instruction for phases in recipe and want to take print of process instructions in process order after release process order.
Please explain the path for printing process instructions copied into process order.
if some one assign PIs to phase in recipe, will control recipes be created after release of process order.

The easiest way to do what you want is to actually create the PI sheet and then print it off from the view PI sheet transaction (CO60). This is then all standard functionality.
to do this you will need to set the configuration to create the control recipe when the process order is released and send it to a recipe destination.

Is there a setting to make a PDF print with no background and black text?

I made a nice booklet that has colorful blocks in the background and sometimes white text and sometimes black text. We are not going to print it, it is just going to be a PDF on our website. Can I set it up so that it always prints without the backgrounds and makes all the text black?
I just don't want people to have to print huge fields of colr if they end up printing this out on a little ink jet with expensive and finicky cartridges...

There are is no as such specified setting for customer or reader printer, because it depends on the printer setting of customer. However, you can mentioned that, if any one want to print book as black text, follow this setting http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-black-white-acrobat-reader.html

Problem in printing process order.

Hi dudes,
Our users are taking print of process order after release status and then the goods movements will be carried out manually. There is a problem with some orders belongs to one material where the some of components in process order are not getting printed. one or two are missing.
Please suugest is there any note related to the specified issue

Dear,
Pick list is sorted on material number and not on item num ber, hence you may see that difference.
Some of the materials may not come if the final issue tick is active.
The process order can be printed in COR2 screen itself.(Ctrl+P
But for the preview after printing, you can view the spools created in SP01.
Transction code : CB85
Maintain the parameters from order type PI01.

Need help with parallel process in background; not able to call FM in bgnd

I am trying since 2 days to solve the issue of parallel process in background without using FPP.
For which I want to call function module of class method in new task but to be processed by background process and not dialog.
I searched so many websites but everyone has suggesteed to 'call function in background task' . But the fact is the processing of function happens by dailog process even in this case.
I want to loop at table and call FM or class method inside each loop.
Kindly suggest me how can I call function or class method in new task in everycall and prcoess it in background.

If the grayscale looks ok on screen, you are probably not setting up your print correctly. What OS? What printer?

PDFs printing with black background and white text.

For some reason some of our PDF's have been printing with black backgrounds and white text, even though they appear to be normal on the screen before they are printed. I haven't been able to confirm 100% yet but it appears to only be happening with pdfs that were created from scanned documents.
Can somebody please offer me some suggestions.

Absolutely agree with the original poster. I find white text on black background so very very difficult (I changed from using Tweetbot on iOS to Tweetlogix for this very reason) and it physically hurts my eyes to try to read it. I can just about manage with Spotify using white text on a black background on the large screen of my MacBook Pro - and I do mean "just" - but for the smaller screen of my iPhone 5 it is just impossible. Even with a retina screen such as that on the iPhone 5S there is a strange ghosting effect and it gives me a headache to look at it for too long.
This may be something to do with age! I suspect most app developers are youngsters with almost perfect eyesight, but for those of us whose eyesight is less than perfect, this white text on black background really is so very difficult.
I know there is a workaround in setting the iPhone to invert ALL colours (under Accessibility in Settings) but it's a real pain to have to keep altering this setting every time I want to open or close Spotify, and it doesn't look right anyway. iOS7 is supposed to be a light, bright, easy to read OS - sadly this new Spotify app is the opposite of that.
Please would Spotify consider adding a simple light or dark theme option, so that those of us who want it can have our much easier to read light background back again, with grey or black text? It would be a great help to those of us who have eyesight problems.
If not, I may have to cancel my Spotify Premium account and move to Deezer instead, as I mainly use Spotify when out and about in the car, so am using the iOS app a lot.

It is advisable to Set "PO:Workflow Processing Mode" profile option to "Background" which is a default value
If you set it as Online, it completes an entire approval workflow process before letting you proceed to the next activity, but provides you with an updated Status (for purchase orders) as soon as it finishes.
When this profile option is set to Background, you must start the Workflow Background Engine, which you access through the System/application Administrator responsibility. It is recommended that you set this process to run frequently (Schedule), if you are using it for Background mode approvals.

How to get program which is been processed in background

Hi Experts,
      While doing PI sheet (CO60) the document gets posted for movement type 101 in MIGO which is processed in background. I need know which standard program is processed to get the document posted in background.
The two function modules are configured for this i.e pi02-COCM_PROCESS_RECORD
pi05 - COCI_CONFIRM_OPERATION. I tried to debugg by setting break point in these two funtion module but it is not getting triggered.
   The reason might be because the process ia automatic or any other. How can i find out how the document is getting posted the break point is not get triggered for any cases .Please suggest.

    The FMs pi02-COCM_PROCESS_RECORD and pi05 -COCI_CONFIRM_OPERATION
are called at multiple locations .Might be the place where u hav set the break point the FM is not getting triggered from that location but from the location where u hv not set the break point for the same FM.
    Instead set the break point in the FM definition. or set the debugging swith again where actually the posting is done.

Printing process used for iPhoto prints?

Can anyone tell me what printing process is used when ordering enlargements through iPhoto?
I've placed one of my photos in a international exhibit (yay!) and in preparation for the show, they want to know the printing process for inclusion on the display card. Is it a Chromogenic print, or a Gelatin silver print, or an Ultra-Chrome archival digital print, or an Archival Pigment print on watercolor paper, or a B&W Fiber print, or a Platinum print, etc...
I know that the print order was any of the above, but I'm wondering how I should reply to this request. Is it just a "Digital Print on photographic paper"? Or is there some more accurate way of describing the print process?
