Prob when there is any HTML tag inside netui:label tag

Hi,
When i am displaying content in a script directly and if some HTML tag is there in the content like or tag then that particular property is reflected in the displayed content
Eg: In code: <%=headline %>
Headine=This is a beautiful flower
Output: This is beautiful flower
When I displayed same headline using <netui:label>
Eg: In code: <netui:label value=â€<%=headline %> â€>
Headine=This is a beautiful flower
Output: This is a beautiful flower
So is there any workaround by which I can get same output(as for normal script) with <netui:label> tag

This seems to be a well-known and quite widespread problem with this extension, unfortunately - the net is full of complaints about this issue, not to mention 'horror stories' about how this (otherwise fairly innocent and well-certified but clearly highly commercial) extension has 'sneaked' its way into peoples installations.
I find it quite amazing that such an issue has existed for so long without the Browser Highlighter, TinyMCE and FCKeditor teams getting together and making a working fix - it should be rather easy to prevent with a tag or plugin check in editor code and/or a simple editor recognition routine in the extension.
If you want (/need) to use this extension, I can only point you to the Browser Highlighter homepage for support; in [http://thebrowserhighlighter.com/help.jsp The Browser Highlighter Help section] it is clearly documented - first section, last paragraph - along with a link to [http://thebrowserhighlighter.com/blacklist.jsp this problem report form] where it seems you can ask for help solving the problem.
However, given the (script-)name of the page, I suppose that reporting a problem on your own website (with all details) actually adds your site - or part of it - to a blacklist that TBH maintains to turn off TBH or at least problematic script injections when visiting sites registered in this list. So actually this might help you solve the problem quite easily, if they do what the page implies.

Exiting from sqlplus when there is any errors while compiling pl/sql progra

I am connecting to sqlplus from unix and I am executing a pl/sql script . Now if I get some error while compiling a procedure, package, function or any sql statement I want to exit sqlplus.
whenever sqlerror works only for sql statements but not for plsql
I dont want to query user_errors table and then throw some exception depending on the same .
Is there any command available or any easier way to solve this problem ?

Those errors we get only when there is conflict in same etc.

My time machine backs up over 40GB each scheduled back up when there hardly any new data to back up. I have excluded movies

My time machne backs up over 40GB each scheduled backup of data even if there is no new data to back. The time capsule is 2TB. I have excluded in preferences iPhoto liabrary and movies and VM fusion and it still wants to back make eacj back up 40MG+. What can I do?

How to trigger a event when there in any change in category in the service request

I need to set Employee responsible dynamically when the exact category is chosen in the service request. i am following a approach to register a function module in the crmv_events so that the event will be called as soon as categorization is changed in service request.I have never configured crmv_events.please guide me its urgent.

I would say, instead of doing it from any event function module, do it from web ui bol layer itself.
Define get P method of category and set event on the value change. Create that same event from event handler and write the code for getting(use FM) and setting emp responsible in that event using bol programming.
Please let me know if you need the codes for doing all this.
It would be great if you can paste the the screen shot of the view you are using in web ui.

Firefox crashes when there is any extension enabled

firefox crashes since 13 and still crashes in 14.
The only thing you need to do is open firefox, then wait, it usually crashes in less than 30s, but sometime it won't crash and I don't know why.
I try to disable all extensions and enable them one by one, but I find firefox crashes even when I click "enable"(there is nothing enabled yet when I click it)

Run a loop when there is any change in value of any control or local variable in side the loop

I am trying to write a program for a complicated multivariate system. I have many different controls connected to different functionality of the system. What I want to do is, run a continuous time loop, but I don't want the program to go over all the different controls and execute all the different functions. Instead can I do the job in a way, that the program will only execute the part that has changes in its control compared to its last loop and not go over the rest of the program in the loop? Hope I make my problem clear!

When Exported in PDF reports displays HTML Tags

I am Reporting on Oracle CLOBs. This CLOB contains Data with HTML Tags, Clearly this CLOB is the combination of DATA formatted in HTML tags.
When I create a WebI Reports on this (CLOB) WebI displays correctly in the sence data only.
When I export this report to PDF; The PDF display contains both data with HTML tags as well.
Is there any solution/workaround or any setting in the BO Server to overcome/solve this issue.

My question is wether Adobe support CLOBs or not.
I was reported on oracle CLOBs (This CLOBs contains data wrapped in HTML tags), by using Business Object Web Intelligence. This WebI displaying the reports as I desire, there is no problem, in WebI. WebI displaying data with no HTML Tags.
My problem is that when I export this WebI report, this Adobe is getting HTML tags, why? Since this WebI is not displaying the HTML tags, since adobe does not know wether there is a HTML tags or not.

How to include HTML tags in a success message?

I have seen a few posts on this topic in the past, but have not seen a definitive response...apologies if this has been answered.
I would like to have a dynamic process success message that includes some HTML tags in it - in this case an anchor tag that can jump the user back to the object he/she just edited.
So, I build up a dynamic success message in a page variable - say P10_SUCCESS_MSG - and set the Process Success Message field in the relevant Process to &P10_SUCCESS_MSG.
The problem is that when the page template substitutes in my message for #SUCCESS_MESSAGE# it looks like it also escapes any HTML tags, so the markup gets displayed literally on the page.
Is there any recommended way to override or get around this behavior?

I just noticed that it looks like the success message is passed around on the URL - when I look at my URL after a successful form process, I see &success_msg=BIG_UGLY_ESCAPED_SUCCESS_MSG_HERE embedded in the URL. If this is the case, I can see why - technically - it ends up getting escaped. Looks like I may have to figure out my own hack for success message processing - maybe some weird post-processing of a placeholder success token that I replace in a page 0 process or something...

DWT Library item won't update if there is an HTML error?

I'm updating a DWT site for a client and I have found from time to time the library items stop updating and I believe this happens when there is an HTML error.
Example: I omitted a </ul> tag by mistake at some point recently and updated the pages in the site. Now that I've discovered the error I fixed it, but when I update the pages the dialog goes through each page but makes no change. I've found I can fix it by opening the pages in an external editor and fixing the code manually, but this seems to defeat the purpose of the templates.
I've tried researching this but I haven't found anyone else reporting this or any possible solutions. Is this a quirk on my system or has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for that. I agree with the 'it should still work'. The 'libraryitem' tags are still there and the library code is yellowed out. I just wondered if there was a quick fix to reinstate the updating.
Since I posted this, I have discovered that the update works on files that are OPEN in DW. It's only the site files not open. I have opened all the .aspx files and run a library change successfully.
HOWEVER, if I close those files and update again, they still don't do it. I now suspect that there is a hidden DW file, like the lock files on the server, or perhaps a component of the .lbi file, that lists the files to update.

Parsing XML with html tags for style

I'm using flash to pull in XML data, but I want to use html
tags to be able to style the text. When I add any html, it treats
it as a sub-node and ignores the data. Also, line breaks in the xml
are being converted to double spaced paragraphs? The relevant code

If I have :TEMPORARY_APPLICATION_ITEM as 'Vikas' it gets displayed properly but if I have 'Vikas' it shows null. if it has any HTML tags function l_Opt_Xml.firstChild.nodeValue is not working properly .Please tell me what modiifcation can I use in function l_Opt_Xml.firstChild.nodeValue to get Values with HTML tags also to get displayed.

Problem removing html tags from the text retrived

I am using jdbc to connect the database and retriving the data. In one of the columns along with the description there are some html tags in few of the recors of that column. is there a way to retrive the text only ignoring the html tags in between. Or can i retrive and then strip off the html code in the text to display only normal text.
example of the data retrived which are pipe seperated and one of the columns has html tags in it:

Did you read the documentation of the trim() method,
where it describes which whitespace it removes?I believe his problem is that
"Some text here
<blah>
More text"becomes
"Some text here
More text"... and he wants ...
"Some text here
More text"So, your problem is that your regex isn't matching whitespace as well.

HTML tags in text-only e-mail notification (with HTML attachment)

Our "Purchase Order Review" e-mail notifications (as generated by the WF-Mailer) have HTML tags in the message body (which is "plain-text" text-only), with an HTML attachment. (The attachment looks good, and is what we are expecting.) All our e-mail notifications are text-only (which is how we want them), and this is the only kind of notification that is generating HTML tags in the 'text-only' message body.
We'd like to keep the HTML attachment as it is, but we want to have the e-mail message body be text (without any HTML tags). The other option that would be acceptable is to NOT have any message content at all, and only the HTML attachment.
Can either of these options be done, and how do we go about doing them?? Thanks!! -- Tom

in the notifications properties you will see two tabs, in one you can enter your message in text and in another you can enter in html. not sure if you had tried these.
