Problem about Microsoft.Research.Kinect.dll when use Kinect

Hi everyone,
I am trying to connect Microsoft Kinect and LabView follow this tutorial http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/6504#0requirements
I'm using LabView 2010, Vision 2010, OpenNI and PrimeSense. However when I opened the project follow the tutorial above, the notice about Microsoft.Research.Kinect.dll appeared (I added the screen below). If possible, please consider it and help me overcome this problem
Thank you for any insight
I'm looking forward to hearing from you
Mina.

Thank you so much for your help,
However when I tried to run program, the notice like this appeared (I attached screenshot below) So I wonder whether the error didn't come from the conflict of version of SKD problem. In addition, I'm using window xp, is it suitable for this project?
Please let me know if any clarification is needed of my issue.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Mina

  • How to include microsoft.research.kinect.dll file?

    When trying to activate a demo VI file using xbox kinect, MS-SDK and LabView 2011 we get the announcement that the file "microsoft.research.kinect.dll" is not found. Even after we put it in the relevant directory we got the same message. Does any one know why can it be and what should we do?
    Thanks

    I think that problem is that you are working with the set of tools for microsoft Kinect while those of OpenNI, this can generate a conflict, I have understood you need to uninstall one to work with others, check out this link

    I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

  • Missing export kernel32.dll when using cvi 9.0 on win 64

    Hi,
    I just have a new computer (windows 7 64 bits) : PC 1 for short.
    My old computer was a windows xp 32 bits : PC 2.
    I compile my programs with CVI 9.0.
    When I compile a program with PC 1 :
    - the install works on PC 1 & PC 2
    - the prog installed works on PC 1
    - the prog installed doesn't work on PC 2 : Missing export ...... from 'KERNEL32.DLL'
    Somebody has an idea?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi,
    if your program uses some functions from Windows SDK included in kernel32.dll, the program really depends on this library.
    The problem is that for this reason CVI includes kernel32.dll when you build a distribution kit (on the target PCs you should find a copy of kernel32.dll in a subfolder of the one where you installed your application).
    The problem is that CVI takes this dll from your development PC (Win 7) and your target PC (XP) can't work with this dll. Win XP has its own copy of kernel32.dll, but MS Windows Operating Systems load dlls from application folder before than from system folder.
    And so, simply remove the kernel32.dll dependency and rebuild the distribution kit.
    This is a general behavior of CVI and can bring to several problems. I've already reported this to NI, because Operating System dlls must not be included in a distribution kit. If the target OS lacks of some core dll, this is a severe problem, and it's not a situation that CVI can fix simply using some local copies of these dlls.

  • Rich Client For EJB asking for  'ioser12.dll' when using PortableRemoteObject.narrow()

    Hi,
    When using narrow down the object to home interface after performing lookup(), it gives error for
    'ioser12.dll' not found. If doing 'SomeHome someHome = (SomeHome)obj;' it's working fine.
    Regards,

    Remove the j2ee.jar from your classpath and narrow will work.
    The correct version is in weblogicaux.jar.

  • Question about sorted, hashed tables, mindset when using OO concepts...

    Hello experts,
    I just want to make sure if my idea about sorted and hashed table is correct.Please give tips and suggestions.
    In one of my reports, I declared a structure and an itab.
    TYPES: BEGIN OF t_mkpf,
            mblnr           LIKE mkpf-mblnr,
            mjahr           LIKE mkpf-mjahr,
            budat           LIKE mkpf-budat,
            xblnr(10)       TYPE c,
            tcode2          LIKE mkpf-tcode2,
            cputm           LIKE mkpf-cputm,
            blart           LIKE mkpf-blart,
          END OF t_mkpf.
    it_mkpf       TYPE SORTED   TABLE OF t_mkpf WITH HEADER LINE
                                       WITH NON-UNIQUE KEY mblnr mjahr.
    Now, I declared it as a sorted table with a non-unique key MBLNR and MJAHR. Now suppose I have 1000 records in my itab. how will it search for a particular record?
    2. Is it faster than sorting a standard table then reading it using binary search?
    3. How do I use a hashed table effectively? lets say that I want to use hashed type instead of sorted table in my example above.
    4. I am currently practicing ABAP Objects and my problem is that I think my mindset when programming a report is still the 'procedural one'. How do one use ABAP concepts effectively?
    Again, thank you guys and have a nice day!

    Hi Viray,
    <b>The different ways to fill an Internal Table:</b>
    <b>append&sort</b>
    This is the simplest one. I do appends on a standard table and then a sort.
    data: lt_tab type standard table of ...
    do n times.
    ls_line = ...
    append ls_line to lt_tab.
    enddo.
    sort lt_tab.
    The thing here is the fast appends and the slow sort - so this is interesting how this will compare to the following one.
    <b>read binary search & insert index sy-tabix</b>
    In this type I also use a standard table, but I read to find the correct insert index to get a sorted table also.
    data: lt_tab type standard table of ...
    do n times.
    ls_line = ...
    read table lt_tab transporting no fields with key ... binary search.
    if sy-subrc <> 0.
      insert ls_line into lt_tab index sy-tabix.
    endif.
    enddo.
    <b>sorted table with non-unique key</b>
    Here I used a sorted table with a non-unique key and did inserts...
    data: lt_tab type sorted table of ... with non-unique key ...
    do n times.
    ls_line = ...
    insert ls_line into table lt_tab.
    enddo.
    <b>sorted table with unique key</b>
    The coding is the same instead the sorted table is with a unique key.
    data: lt_tab type sorted table of ... with unique key ...
    do n times.
    ls_line = ...
    insert ls_line into table lt_tab.
    enddo.
    <b>hashed table</b>
    The last one is the hashed table (always with unique key).
    data: lt_tab type hashed table of ... with unique key ...
    do n times.
    ls_line = ...
    insert ls_line into table lt_tab.
    enddo.

  • Problem with SSAS cube reporting action when using pivot filter with cubevalue function

    Hi everyone,
    I have a quite specific problem when I combine cube actions (Reporting Action SSRS) with Excel's cubevalue() function.
    The problem is when I use a pivot filter as a parameter for the cubevalue() function. The action item does not show up in the context menue.
    The cube action works fine when I do it from a "normal" pivot or if I use the cubevalue() function without the reference to a pivot filter (all the parameters in the function are "hard-coded").
    I use SSAS 2012 and Excel 2010.
    Thanks for yor help.
    Gerhard

    Hi everyone,
    I actually figured out a way to solve this problem. I had to use a detour to solve this bug in Excel (at least I think it's a bug).
    What I needed to do: I had to make Excel belive that the filter is actuall hard-coded and does not come from a pivot filter. This was only possible by adding a new calculated measure to the cube that gives back the MEMBER_Unique_Name to the current member
    passed. This "value" can then be used to go back to the cube and select the cubemember function. Here is a small example.
    This is the cube member:
    CREATE MEMBER CURRENTCUBE.[Measures].[RegCompBranNameKey] AS
    [Company Branch].[Reg - Comp - Bran Name].CurrentMember.Properties("MEMBER_UNIQUE_NAME", TYPED),
    VISIBLE = 0 ;
    And this is then done in a hidden Excel cell:
    =CUBEMEMBER("Metrics";
     IF(RIGHT(CUBEVALUE("Metrics";<PivotFilter>;"[Measures].[RegCompBranNameKey]");5)="[ALL]";"[ALL]";
      RIGHT(CUBEVALUE("Metrics";<PivotFilter>;"[Measures].[RegCompBranNameKey]");LEN(CUBEVALUE("GlobalMetrics";<PivotFilter>;"[Measures].[RegCompBranNameKey]"))-57)
    I had to use the UniqueName property because I have a combined filter. That's also the reason for this truncation and also useing the last part of it. If you just have a straight key you more easily use it.

  • Problem creating directory configuration for BPM when using secure ldap

    I have all the configuration sorted for the creation, but when the config wizard tries to connect to the server I get this:
    fuego.directory.DirectoryRuntimeException: Exception [sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target].
    I'm assuming it's because the config tool isn't using my keyStore, but I am unable to find out where I add this!
    Thanks

    Hi,
    The problem got resolved when we tried same thing in BI publisher 10.1.3.4.2 (xmlpserver) in weblogic 10.3.5. It seems that BI publisher 10.1.3.4.1 does not have dynamic URI support.
    Thanks,

  • Delay unloading Acrobat dlls when using Acrobat 9

    In our Java desktop application, we use Acrobat 9 to display a pdf file.
    This pdf is opened in another window. When the window is closed the acrobat dlls loaded are expected to close by itself so that the corresponding javaw process can close.
    The javaw process is not closing since the acrobat dlls are NOT closed automatically. It was found the dlls are unloaded after around 30 second.
    When tried with Acrobat 8 it worked perfectly.
    Has anyone come across the dll unload issue with Acrobat 9?
    Can you suggest a solution?

    Wrap the Adobe functionality in an executable.
    Manage that from your main java app via Runtime.exec/ProcessBuilder.
    Provide a communication interface so the two can interact.
    Your main app can exit at any time. The secondary app will exit after the delay without being visible to the users.

  • Emoji Problem: Iphone 5s apps shut down when using emoji!! Any solutions?

    When I click an emoji that I want to use the app I am using immediately shuts down. I can reopen it but the emoji use will shut it down every time. How do I make it so I can use them again!?

    I had a customer with this issue and I tried to just close out of the texting app by double clicking the home button and closing the whole messaging application out. After that did not work I tried to do a complete reset (settings -> general -> reset -> erase all content and settings) to the phone and wiping it clean and even with it being wiped and nothing being on the phone the application still didnt work at all. Then I did a straight restore (different form of doing a reset on the phone done by holding the home button down and plugging the phone to the computer) . So I ordered a new phone for the customer and it came brand new in the box. When I turned it on and went and tested the emoji application it worked fine. After doing a back up and restore on the phone the emoji started doing the same thing when it came back on after restoring from a back up. I then did everything I did with the first phone on the NEW phone and with nothing on it tried to go to the emoji's and it AGAIN kept closing out. This is a software glitch of some sort and can ONLY be fixed by an update. I've been a phone tech for 2 years so I have a really good round about technical issues on phones and on androids and apple products. Most of the time an update always fixes the "little" (big to some people) issues.
    Hope this helps a little bit!

  • Problem Setting Item on a Page when using a List

    I have setup a List of reports. On the Page where the List displays, the user selects a Project Manager from a select list. In the List target section, I set the item for the project manager on the report page to the project manager selected on the List page.
    When I click on the report in the list, I am directed to the correct page, but the project manager item is not being set to the project manager selected on the original page. The report is showing information for all project managers.
    I am able to accomplish what I want if I use buttons, but I would prefer to use a list of all the reports. Why is the item not being set as indicated in the target section of the list?

    It sounds like you have two different items on two different pages for your project manager value. ApEx will treat them separately unless you tell it otherwise, via a calculation/process. In otherwords, if you want the second list set to the value of the first one then do it in a page process on the second page. Something like:
    :P2_PM_ID := :P1_PM_ID;
    This particular example would be a 'page rendering' process with the process type of PL/SQL Expression. There are certainly other options possible as well.

  • Problem with function call from sql when using distinct

    I have the following problem.

    This statement will return a handfull of results from a table with 70k + records. The function takes about 0.5 secs to execute.

    I am wondering if anyone is familiar with how to get similar information with a LV program using a Linux shared library as well as the corrolate Mac library to the Windows user32.dll and lvtoolbox.dll.  I specifically am trying to get system metrics such as screen resolution information and cursor information as well as being able to set mouse position.   I am trying to convert a LV Windows program to these other operating systems and I am unfamiliar with these platforms.
    Thanks for your time - I really appreciate it.

    There is no simple answer to that. On Linux you will likely have to call into X Server, which would be a pain to do, due to various versions and implementations of that. On the Mac there would be the difficulty that you can't call into the native ObjectiveC API but would need to find a Carbon API or something like that to do what you want.
    If you seriously want to do something like this for multiplatform, you should bite the bullet and start coding an intermediate shared library in C. This library would export a LabVIEW friendly C API and access whatever system API you need to have for the particular functions. But multiplatform programming on this level is a pain in the ass, no matter what.

  • Small Problem in Compute for Page Size when using inline overflow

    Hi Everyone:
    It appears to me that in 11g when I am using:
    1) A table-form layout
    2) Inline Overflow
    3) Compute as the Table Width
    The Compute does not seem to take into account the width of the "twistie" as I call it, which is a small triangular arrow that points right when there is something in the inline overflow and points down when you are viewing what is in the inline overflow.
    The pages that have these 3 characteristics have a scroll bar along the bottom, that needs just a little more room. I am assuming that this is the "twistie" width not being taken into account.
    I looked on this forum as well as the Release Notes to see if this was a known issue but didn't find it, and I can send you a testcase with the HRSchema, if you want.
    I realize that I can use "pixels" instead of compute for the Table Width, but I thought I should report this to you if you didn't already know.

    Mary,
    Are you using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4?
    I so, that explains it. This JDev release has some annoying layout changes. The good news is that JHeadstart 11.1.1.3 which has just been released should solve these layout issues.

  • Problems with Fit to Artwork Bounds when using Save for Web

    When I do the Fit to Artwork Bounds function under Artboard Options and then Save for Web, the file has a line of white (or nearly white) pixels at the top. As a workaround, I then open the png file in Photoshop, crop out the white line of pixels and resize the image, but that shouldn't be necessary. How do I prevent it from making the white line of pixels at the top?
    I'm using Illustrator CC on Mac OS 10.7.5.

    you can make your art go a little bit over the bounds. or you can make sure your artboart and art edges align to pixels
