Problem adding NAS quorum device using scconf with RSH disabled on filer

Hi,
we are having problems to configure a quorum device via scconf.
/usr/cluster/bin/scconf -a -q name=XXXdc00xp1,type=netapp_nas,filer=XXX607ap fails with
scconf: Failed to add quorum device (XXX00xp1) - invalid quorum configuration.
scconf: Unable to communicate with filer "XXX607ap".
using snoop i realized that scconf is trying to configure the quorum using rsh. as our filer is only accessible via http and ssh - i have no idea how to configure a quorum using the standard methods described in the documentation provided by sun.
the documents only state that we need http administrative access - which is available.
any ideas ???

Hi Christian,
this should be a bug. If you send me some more customer details offline, I can add them to the bug and make sure this gets fixed.
The workaround should be (according to well informed sources):
on filer do:
options rsh.enable on
do scconf to add quorum and then
options rsh.enable off on filer
This has been tested and found to work. If it does not let us know.

Is there still a name and password and Sync key saved in the Password Manager?
You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.
*Firefox/Tools > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
Look for:
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)
You can try to remove all services.sync lines from the prefs.js file in the Firefox profile folder and possibly delete or rename the Weave folder.

Can't auth to Nortels networks devices using RADIUS with ACS 5.1

Hi,
I've got a problem with the ACS 5.1 RADIUS Authentication for Nortel network devices (Baystack 470, ERS 5530 5510, Passport 8606).
After configuring RADIUS on these device (primary serv, secondary serv, secret key, port...) and adding them to my ACS Servers.
I can't manage to login using RADIUS and i get the following message.
"Permission denied, please try again" or "No response from RADIUS server"(?) (depending on the device type)
But in my ACS View, I can see : "Authentication succeeded."
I've also checked the RADIUS frames, the "Access-Request" and "Access-Accept" are correctly transmitted.
I've got no problems with RADIUS Auth using other brand devices
Is there any known issues with Nortels devices using Cisco ACS 5.1 with RADIUS Authentication ?

Are you sure that setting up a compound condition will help ?
To me, the RADIUS Nortel VSA are used for Authorization,and my problem is about Authentication (usually for a simple authentication, we stay in the IETF RADIUS Standards ? no ?)
Also, does setting this condition will change the Access-Accept packets sent by the ACS to the device ?

Can I use OR with WHEN clause in .ctl file?
I am trying to load txt file into oracle table. I used positions.

When I asked 'Did you try the import process already?', I meant, did you try your sql loader process with your control file? Are you getting an error while executing the loading process? if you are please post the error and you probably need more info likethe entire control file with sample data

Graphic problems. Ok if i restart Thunderbird with extras disabled

Hi, since some version ago that my thuntherbird have graphic issues, B became C, cant reed some words etc.
I try the option restart Thunderbird without extras enabled and this way Thunderbird works great! Is there a graphic or other option that i could disabled without restart with extras disabled?
I dont have any extension installed...

As a test, in your project settings set the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only and see if the problems re-occur.

Problem in Sales order create using BAPI with reference to quotation

Hi,
I am creating a sales order from Quotation using BAPI /AFS/BAPI_SALESORD_CREATEFDATA.
The Sale order is getting created and the document flow is updated. When i check the status of quotation it is "OPEN".
Ideally when a sale order is created in VA01 with reference to a quotation and if all items are added in the order from quotation, then the status of the quotation must be "Complete".
When i use the BAPI, the status of the quotation is sill "Open". Has anyone faced this issue?
Even if anyone has faced this issue with BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2, please let me know...

I am using BAPI to create order reference to contracts. I am facing same issue. Its not updating document flow (vbfa-plmin field). After creating orders I am forcing to update plmin field in vbfa. This worked fine. But now status in reference document not updating properly. I saw your thread. It looks like similar issue. I saw your comments "Customization was not maintained properly for the Order types ". Please can you explain little bit more about your solution. It will helps us lot.

Problem connecting to Windows Server using RDC with RDP SSL on PowerPC Mac

At work we use Windows Terminal Server 2003. We have multiple Macs connecting remotely using Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 2.0. We recently changed settings to require SSL security on all remote connections. Everything works fine with Intel based Macs, but no PowerPC based Mac has been able to connect since enabling SSL. The error message states "you have been disconnected from the Windows-based computer because there were problems during the licensing protocol."
In the Administrative tools of the Terminal Services Configuration on the server, the Security Layer is set to SSL. If we change the security layer back to RDP Security Layer, the PowerPC based Macs can connect without a problem. The Encryption Level settings seems to have no effect on the connection.
Does anyone have experience with this problem or know of a solution?

Problems adding my Epson C1100 using Bonjour

Hi all,
I have my APE running perfectly and my printers also perfectly running. Last week I had to shut down my network because I am rebuilding my studio. I kept on working on my MAC but deleted my printer.
Right now I need the printer and I try to add it. Bonjour fond the printer and everything, but when I klik add I get the "beachball". I am waiting now for 8 hrs and stil no printer is added.
On my Windows machine evrything works just fine!
So what is the problem?? How do I get my printer working on my MAC?

I jusr like to add that I am running OS 10.4.4 on a iMac G5 and trying to print to an Epson C1100.
I can use the printer setup utility to set up and print to this printer just fine when it is direct connected via USB.
However, when I try to add this same printer via Bonjour hooked up to an airport express, print setup utility sees the printer just fine, indicates that it is connected to my airport, and detects the drivers (the "Print Using" drop down list in the add printer dialog box, after waiting for a period.
I installed the drivers again, old and new ones. Still nothing. I also downgaded my firmware of APE to 6.1.1, still nothing. Also back to 6.3 doesn't help out.
The worst is that it worked a fewe weeks ago. When I unplugged my APE for a while and went back to work and tried to add my printer this all happened!
I'm about to tear my hair out...

Problem adding item to list using a function. Error - Null pointer

You should check how you are initializing your variables in your testpanel class. You initialize your button correctly, but your other class variables are being overridden. As a result, your class variables still have a value of 'null'.

Using IMAQReadFile with .jpg format of file is producing an "incompatible image size" error ?

The .jpg monochrome images are of slightly different sizes. Is there a way round this or should i use a different file format ?

I trimmed down your code a bit, but I don't see any problems with using various sized images. I ran your code first with no changes except removing the text file IO and changing the paths and saw no problems. I am using LV 6.1 with Vision 6.1. Take a look at the code below and see if it works for you.

Facing problem in .doc to .chm conversion esp with External Map Id file

Hi...I'm a new user to RH-Word. I need to create .chm file
from a .doc file (earlier we used to use .hlp). Is it correct that
i need .cnt (for TOC) and .hlp files as well for the conversion? If
not, then how can i do it with the .doc file ONLY? Secondly, i have
converted the .doc to .chm with the help of .cnt and .hlp BUT
Context Sensitive help is not working in this case. I imported the
external .map file (that was provided with the VC++ code of my
program) BUT the Map IDs are placed in the Unused Map ID Folder and
i need to create aliases for each and every Map ID [which is very
cumbersome and difficult to do as i don't know which ID was related
to which Topic]. Is there any way to convert the .doc while
preseving the Context Sensitive Help as well? Plz help!!

Can you describe more precisely what you want do do, or what
you did?
If you want to convert your WinHelp-project (hpj) to a
HTMLHelp project (.xpj) in RoboHelp, this is how I would do it:
- In RH Starter select the tab Import.
- Select WinHelp Projekt (.hpj). The dialog page Import
Project - Select Project Format opens where you select HTML Help.
- The Select WinHelp Project dialog appears where you select
your WinHelp project.
- Define the import settings.
The hh file should convert fine. You may have to manually
reformat topics, convert bmp files or other stuff, but you will
work with HTML files, which is much more convenient.

Mac using iPhoto with elements 9 saving file after editing

I start with iPhoto select a photo to work with, make adjustment or add layer etc and then when I save the file I can never find it again!
It says it is saving it to my iPhoto folder I started from but it is not there.
Never had this kind of problem before. How can you direct Elements to save where you want it not where it wants it.

I had it almost set up correctly did not know in Elements to set "save over original" feature so that solved it.
I have no idea where these others I have modified went.
I search for them in the spot light but the path doesn't get me there.
It stops at iphoto library/modified etc.
They are not in the library that's for sure.
Anyway this method will work just fine.

when the javascript is diabled, I want to redirect to a specific page while the command link is clicked.
The default behavor for this situation is being redirected to the home page directly as the renered html uses only '#' as href address, without invoking the binded backing bean action.
Does somebody have any idea?

functionality just like this case. "it's not supported" reason is just a last resort...
