Problem cf10 installation xml error - Conflicting values for output property method

We just completed a ColdFusion 10 installation on Windows Server 2008 R2. After taking care of some configuration issues, we're now faced with a problem that we can't figure out. Searches on Google for the error returned almost nothing.
The error occurs when xmltransform is called in a CFC file. The error we get from CF is:
An error occured while Transforming an XML document
             Failed to compile stylesheet. 1 error detected.
It's not very helpful. In the coldfusion-error.log file, we have this entry:
Error at xsl:output on line 2 column 193
  XTSE1560: Conflicting values for output property method
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Is it something simple that we overlooked, or a fundamental difference in the way CF10 handles xmltransform?
Thanks,
Jamie Carter

  • Vivado 2013.4 ERROR: [IP_Flow 19-395] Problem validating against XML schema: Invalid value format for this type spirit:order

    Hello,
    I just downloaded and installed Vivado 2013.4 on my Xubuntu 12.04 machine. But when I try to add IP from the IP catalog, as in the ug937 Lab1 step2, it fails with obscure error messages (see below).
    Here's basically what I did:
    -In the Flow Navigator, i select the IP Catalog button.
    -In the search field of the IP Catalog, I type DDS.
    -then I double-click the DDS Compiler and my error occure.
    Please Help,
    Jerome.

    We had the same problem when switching to Ubuntu 14.04, and there actually is a solution for it: make sure your locales are set to English.
    $> env | grep LC_*
    should only show english (or C) locales, all others are known to cause parsing errors in some numbers, usually caused by wrong string-to-float conversions (e.g. 18,29 in german is 18.29 in english). You can change the locales in the file /etc/default/localesThis is not the first time we had problems with the locale settings, Xilinx does not seem to test their software with anything else than en_US, causing obscure bugs like this one.

    Hi
    I had same issue. Below is the solution
    Installing
    "Visual Studio 2012 Update 3" usually solves this problem. (You can download it through microsoft's official site at

    The above you are talking about refers to instructions for Snow Leopard (10.6) and you did post in the Snow Leopard forum area.
    Your system profile confirms you are actually using Lion (10.7.1).  Therefore, you should seach for Lion instructions in the Apple's Knowledge Base or post over in the Mac OS X v10.7 Lion forum area.

  • Error: conflicting types for 'myFunctionOne'

    Hello,
    The LabWindows/CVI 2013 help page for C Language Extensions appears to show function overloading being supported in the C99 extensions:
     "Function Overloading in C | Yes"
    The table in the following link shows the same thing:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/73AEAD30C8AF681A86257BBB0054A26B
    I tried compiling a source file with the following overloaded function definitions with C99 extensions enabled in the Build Options:
     void myFunctionOne(double d) {
      printf ("Value = %f\n", d);
     void myFunctionOne(int d) {
      printf ("Value = %d\n", d);
    and I get the error:
     "conflicting types for 'myFunctionOne'
    Is function overloading truly supported, and if so, how does one enable it?
    Thanks,
    Mark B.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello Mark,
    You have to add __attribute__((overloadable)) at the definitions of the functions you want to overload.
    void __attribute__((overloadable)) myFunctionOne(double d) {
    printf ("Value = %f\n", d);
    void __attribute__((overloadable)) myFunctionOne(int d) {
    printf ("Value = %d\n", d);
    You can see an examples of clang extensions here.

    Actually I have already tried a few things you suggested and got as far as the DAQmx Write vi. The error at the DAQmx was a buffer error indicating i needed to set it to 2 instead of the default of 1. Tried using the DAQmx Input and Output Buffer vi to change buffer, with no luck.

  • Adjusting Portal Pages throws "Specify a value for the property {0}"

    I found (with the help of our friends at OSS) the setting I need to change with to adjust the Runtime frame size for Guided Procedures.
    It's quite logical really, since GP is just a bunch of pages in the portal it would make sense to find them in the Portal Content option ... So there it was.
    Content Administration > Portal Content
    Search for content and go to Process Instance. The following part shows the 3 main content parts of the GP Runtime window. As you can see in the third container are the two elements that contain your content. "Content Area" and "Public Content Area".
    Open those two areas (scroll down in the list in the middle, select one and press open) and change the value of Height Type from "Fixed" to "Automatic" or "Full Page".
    This is where I get my error (see the link below for a screenshot as well): When I try to change a value, any value or just open for modifying and try saving again (without changing anything) I get this error:
    [http://wow.telenet.be/delaware/property0.jpg]
    Specify a value for the property
    Now I don't know if there any portal expert watching this thread, but it seems as though all those pages have been wrongly configured from the start. And until I figure out the right configuration I won't be able to save them either way.
    My question is two-fold:
    1) Can anyone provide me with all the settings he has for this component so I can compare them to mine?
    2) How do I fix this error? I'm assuming every page in the portal gives the same error?
    Thanks in advance,

    What are you trying to do here?
    As the error states, the x:Uid must be plain text. You cannot bind it to a brush.
    The Uid is used for localization to identify which localized resource to use. It makes no sense in the SolidColorBrush context.

    You can use the skip property of the train stop. You can have an EL expression for it, some thing like this #{pageFlowScope.isContinueEnabled}.
    Once all the mandatory fields are entered, you can set the isContinueEnabled flag and refresh the train button bar.
    For more info refer this: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/web.1111/b31974/taskflows_complex.htm#CJHFBFIE
    Also, you can try navigating to different train stops programmatically.

    Please help me anybody.

    First, try restarting Tomcat :-)
    Main 3 reasons for "useBean class is invalid"
    - class must be in a package (ok)
    - class must be public, and have public constructor that takes no arguments (check)
    - class must be compiled, valid and on the classpath. Normally this means the WEB-INF/classes directory.
    From what you have told us, everything seems to check out.
    Try recompiling the .class file to ensure it is valid.
    Does your constructor do anything which might thrown an exception?
    Can you invoke it in scriptlet code without getting an exception?
    <%@ page import="com.stardeveloper.bean.test.SimpleBean" %>
    <% SimpleBean sb = new SimpleBean() %>Trying it in scriptlet code like this might give you a different error message that might help your diagnosis.

  • Problem in retaining the array of values for entire session !!!

    Hi,
    I have a form with multi record block. When user inserts a new line each time , this value should be compared with the previous entered values.
    For this , I tried with the PL/SQL table. Whenever I am coming out of each line after insertion into forms, I am trying to store that values into PL/SQL table. I wrote a procedure to store the value. I am calling this in "new record Instance".
    I need this value in the "Validate item trigger" to compare each new line insertion with the old values which is already stored in Pl/SQL table.
    Now my problem is after storing into PL/SQL table, I am not able to use this values in "Validate item trigger". Because the value stored in the table are getting erased.
    Can you please help me how can I solve this problem. The vaues should retained for a entire session. Its urgent.
    Thanks
    Alaka

    Hi,
    I have already created Package and procedures in it. Declared PL/SQL table in the package specification as a global.
    I am using one procedure to insert into the PL/SQL table which, I am calling in "New record Instance".
    Created another procedure to fetch that value for validation in "When Validate Item" trigger.
    This is not working for me, even though I declared PL/SQL table as global.
    Please suggest If anything wrong in this.
    Thanks
    Alaka

  • XML Form - Empty value for param servername

    Hi,
    I noticed the parameter servername are empty for RenderListItem file, but ok on Edit.
    Any hint?
    Thanks and Regards,
    John

    hi vergeseMatz,
    As per my knowledge this can be done.
    "Is it possible to keep the options in the drop down list when we click the button to filter ?"
    Just call the Bapi/Data service which is giving the searched values after the filter button event is triggered.And mentioned that Bapi/data service in the dynamic property of the Drop down list.Do not forget to assign that link with the value selceted before the filter button is clicked.
    "clear the drop down list values when we click the button to reset?"
    you have to perform the same action but while reseting just send a blank or null value for search to Bapi/data service. Then do the same mentioned above.Since there will be no input for the search bapi/data service so no values will be populated in drop down.
    I hope it will help you.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Saurabh Goel
