Problem changing the wallpaper...

So, every time I open the 'Desktop and Screen Saver' setting under 'System Preferences', it comes up for about a second (sometimes the thumbnails load, sometimes not), freezes, then crashes and I get the "The application System Preferences quit unexpectedly." error. Sooo is there a way to fix it?

i have a probleme changing the value of a variable in movieclip from my scene. i explain: I have combobox on my scene containing categories, and in the scene i load an xml file containing links to php files that work with the combobox.
Also on the scene i have a movieclip "filmstrip", inside this movieclip on the first frame i have a script loading the php file selected in the scene . i use a load() function with a variable "theUrl" inside like this : T.load(theUrl);.
In my scene i want to change the value of "theUrl" inside the movieClip filmstrip. I tried filmstrip.theUrl = url; But it doesnt work

How do I change the wallpaper and make windows transparent ( ~ 20% ) ?
Have been Googl'ing for a while now but still have no clue on how to achieve it

Or, if you don't like fiddling with Xdefaults file, you can simply make urxvt transparent by executing it like "urxvt -tr -sh 20", where the number represents the transparency level. However, this is only pseudo transparency, but I like it better than resource-consuming compositing.

After more digging in the Support section here and some Google work, I turned off iTunes Match and lo and behold! I can change the media kind to Audiobook! So, it looks like iTunes Match locked the files up somehow and for some reason.
I went into iTunes Store > iTunes Match > "No, Thanks" to disable it on the local PC.

Hi. When you were in the recovery drive doing permissions, did you try and run a repair of the boot drive? Did you try single user mode? Try these first and then go back and try to reinstall the operating system.When I say repair boot drive I don't mean permissions. There are both options in disk utilities.When you open disk utilities ,you will see in the left column two drives plus possibly a boot partition that look like an external driv. click on the second drive and in first aid use repair disk. I think this can be done with PowerShell. We could create a function to set wallpaper:
Function Set-WallPaper($Value)
Set-ItemProperty -path 'HKCU:\Control Panel\Desktop\' -name wallpaper -value $value
rundll32.exe user32.dll, UpdatePerUserSystemParameters
Open PowerShell; paste the function above in it to make this function work.
Now, if you want to change some wallpaper, you could type the following text:
Set-WallPaper -value "the path of you wallpaper"

NB500 - How to change the wallpaper?

I would really appreciate if someone could tell me how to put a picture on my desktop background out of my pictures. I have Windows 7 starter on my Toshiba NB50.
I tried to right click on my picture but when I did this it DID NOT give me an option to set as wallpaper. Please help I brought this thing 3 days ago and almost over it.

Unfortunately Windows 7 Starter doesnt allow you to change the wallpaper. This is a Windows limitation on Windows 7 Starter Edition. The wallpaper can only be changed on Windows 7 Home Basic or higher versions.

Once they?re in their right directory, just browse (in the player) to them and when showing the one you want to set as the wallpaper, press and hold the RETURN/BACK button (the one under the PLAY/PAUSE) till a little menu shows up. This is a minor bug, but it's one that I'd still like to see fixed simply because I'm that picky
The problem, as the title states, is that I have my desktop background settings set to randomly change to another one of my wallpapers every hour and (I don't believe it does it when it changes while the computer is awake) when I wake my computer from sleep, during which time an hour has passed, the background changes to a different wallpaper, but the translucent menu bar still shows the top of the wallpaper that was just up.

I'm trying to change the root directory for the default virtual host in J2EE 7.0.
i did the following steps in visual admin: services -> HTTP Provider -> Runtime -> Virtual Hosts -> default:
Root Directory: "D:/usr/sap/<server>/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/sap.com/crm~b2b/servlet_jsp/b2b/root/b2b" (this the correct path to the application)
Start Page:"z_index.jsp"
I restarted HTTP Provider Service and the J2EE.
When I start http://<server>:<port> i get the following error:
The requested resource /z_index.jsp is not available
Details: File [z_index.jsp] not found in application root of alias [/] of J2EE application [sap.com/com.sap.engine.docs.examples].
sap.com/com.sap.engine.docs.examples is the initial default root directory, but i changed it to the correcht path...
Can anybody help me?

Problem changing the database in runtime

We use Crystalreports 10 and CrystalReports 11 using the TCRPE Delphi-VCL-Components (Delphi 2007)
I have the following problem:
We provide several database-servers: oracle, Mssql and Postgres. We connect to the database via odbc.
We prepared some standard-reports for our customers.
Saving them with CR10 or higher the database schema, database name and in some cases the username is stored in the reports.
To use the report on an other system it must be saved with the new connecteion. Is there any way to change the connection with the TCRPE-Components?
