Problem connecting to Realtime system to download or run in debug mode

I have updated my LabWindows\CVI to 2013. I have a PXI system with a PXIe-8101 controller. The PXIe-controller has a real-time OS installed. I have been programming this system for a while now so I am not exactly a novice anymore. The first time I tried to install the program to my real-time target I got a message which said "LabWindows/CVI cannot connect to the real-time target." It also said " .... The version of the LabWindows/CVI Run-Time Engine for RT must be compatible with the version of the LabWindows/CVI development environment."
So I figured that was the problem. My next step was to go into MAX and sure enough was getting all sorts of flags and errors when I used the real-time software Wizard in MAX by right clicking on the Remote software and clicking on Add/Remove Software. And like I suspected there were several flags indicating a software differences. My next step was to update the software in my real-time target to resolve the problem. After I did that I compiled the code and installed it on my remote system.  Everything seemed OK.
The following Monday I restarted LabWindows/CVI and made a couple of changes and tried to build and install to my real-time target. I get that same message as in the first paragraph. So I thought I might not have real-time system  booted up correctly or something like that so I checked all of that and it looked OK. Next I opened up MAX and it could see my real-time target just fine.
When I had my LabWindows/CVI 2012 I did not have this problem. I think maybe there is some incompatibliity issues with my LabWindows 2013; has anyone had a similar problem? I am able to get around the problem by building the release version and copying it to the PXI with CuteFTP V9.0 but I cannot do run my program in debug mode with my LabWindows/CVI and if you may have noticed I have other problems which is in another post I put in next week. I am hoping the problems are connected and I can kill two birds with one stone LOL.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Don Pearce

Hello,
I want to make sure I'm understanding what you are doing in the LabVIEW project. According to the Getting Started with the LabWindows /CVI Real-Time Module manual, these are the steps to install software on the RT target:
1. Launch MAX.
2. Find and expand your RT target under the Remote Systems item in the MAX configuration tree, right-click Software, and select Add/Remove Software. When you select Add/Remove Software, MAX launches the LabVIEW Real-Time Software Wizard. This displays all the National Instruments software and drivers installed on the host computer that you can install on a selected RT target.
3. Select the software you want to install on the RT target, click the icon next to the software, and select Install the feature.
You need to install LabWindows/CVI Run-Time Engine for RT to add support for LabWindows/CVI RT applications on the RT target. This component is required for all LabWindows/CVI RT applications.
The forum post here solved this same issue by installing missing drivers based on this KnowledgeBase article.
Also, LabWindows/CVI 2013 SP1 has been released. Service Pack 1 (SP1) has many  useful bug fixes (listed here), so I recommend upgrading to LabWindows/CVI 2013 SP1 if possible.

  • Is there any way download i-table in debug mode?

    Hi Experts.
I'm curious if there any way download i-table to local computer in debug mode.
could you let me know that method?
currently using basis 640, bw3.5 version.
    Thank you.
    Lee.

    Hi Lee,
This is easy...if you are using the Advanced Debugger then just double-click on the table in the source code and then go to the tables tab....
Then right click and there's an option to download it to a local file....! Then specify the format and the path....and thats it...!!
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem when trying to run in "Debug Mode" in JDeveloper9i

    Hello All ,
i have a problem to debug my application using
    JDeveloper9i .
i get an error: "fdebug.exe could not be read "
and Application error box appears .
i did the following steps in the instalation:
    1) i installed the JDK 1.3
    2) installed the Jdev9i from base installation zip
    3) In <jdeveloper_root>\jdev\bin\ i executed the command
    InstallOJVM.bat c:\jdk1.3
    and get message:
    "InstallOJVM successfully"
    4) i wrote simple program and put a breakpoint ,
when i'm trying to run the program in "Debug mode" i get an error box message
    "fdebug.exe Application Error"
The memory instruction could not be read
please help ,me to fix the problem i need the debuger option .
    thanks in advance.

Do you have the file c:\jdk1.3\jre\bin\fdebug.exe, if you don't, you
need it. Look for the file in the base install directory, it should be
there and then copy it to the location above.

  • Problems connecting with Nintendo systems

    Hello everyone!
Recently, I decided to get a new Linksys router (Model Number WRT120N) for my devices to connect to the internet. Previously, I just had a Nintendo USB connector for my 2 DS and my Wii, but since I intended to get a laptop for school, I got the router.
After setting everything up, the devices all connected just fine. I loved the router, and after trying different things, it worked with everything. However, on Thursday night, they stopped working randomly. All of my devices that were connected could not connect to the router. (That would be my 2 DS lites, my Wii, and my Droid phone)
I checked with each device, and nothing would work. (I don't know if it helps, but my phone would say "Connecting", then "disconnected".)
I tried setting back everything to the default settings and tried again. My phone was the first to work, but now none of my Nintendo devices are connecting.
I've already changed the settings on the Web Admin page for the router (changed it to 1-2 mbps), added the 10 to the IP address. (All of this is from the reccomended page from Nintendo)
I don't know what you guys may need to help me, besides the model number above. If this helps, I'm using the WPA2 Personal security. However, I manually set the 2 DS last time, and they both worked fine. Also, I'm running on a Windows XP system
Long story short: Set up everything on my own, all the devices connected fine. Later in the week, they all stopped working randomly, and I reset the settings. Now after going through everything the same way, only my Droid will connect, and the Nintendo DS and Wii will not.
Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!
PS: I asked the same question on the Nintendo support forum, but there hasn't been a helpful answer that solved my problem yet, so I'm hoping maybe I just set it up wrong. Currently, I'm running the router with no security, as per the request of testing it from a helper on the forum, but they haven't responded back yet.

What I meant by 10 IP addresses was that I added 10 to the last digit of my IP address for the DS systems. (As in, it was 102, so when I manually imput the IP into the DS, it's 112)
I have tried setting the devices to detect the router automatically, but they just connect for about 5 minutes, and then completely loose the signal, and I get a error code on them.
I don't think there are any other wireless channels that are nearby right now.
Should I just reset the router or something? I'm not really sure what to do at this point.

  • The system cannot download information from the SQLSERVER server.

    Hi All,
After BPC 7.0 SP6 for MS install we get the following when trying to access the "Manage Application Sets" or any other admin console task, when we try to execute the connection wizard:
The system cannot download information from the SQLSERVER server.
There may be a network or security issue.
    Error Message:Error code: 500
    any ideas?

    Steven

    Steven,
Could you also make sure that the problem is not on the client side.
Is this a fresh installtion on the client machine? Or was there already an previous version of BPC on this machine?
If this is not a fresh install, you can try to uninstall the software and then deleting all the files in the folder
"program files\BPC". I've seen that sometimes not all the files are automatically deleted.
Then installing the Bpc client agian...
    Kind regards,

  • I keep getting an error "There was a problem connecting to the server" ....and an ip address is listed

Every time I print to a pdf I get an error message that there was a problem connecting to a server. I am running a mac with windows parallels and the error happens in parallels. It seems that somehow the PDF software has captioned a deleted IP address and keeps pointing to this and as this IP address does not exist it produces the error. Can someone help me as I need to find where PDF stores this information and delete it..as it is driving me crazy as the error is continuous. Thank you

Look in the System Preferences -> Accounts.  Click on the Login Items tab. I bet there is an entry for your drive.  Use the "-" to delete it.

  • I can't connect to Wi-Fi - keeps timing out. No problem connecting from other laptops / phones. Stopped working after I did a system upgrade. What can I do?

I can't connect to Wi-Fi - keeps timing out. No problem connecting from other laptops / phones. Stopped working after I did a system upgrade. What can I do? I am on OS X Yosemite.

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Some of these steps are only possible if you have control over the wireless router.
    Step 1
Turn Wi-Fi off and back on.
    Step 2
Restart the router and the computer. Many problems are solved that way.
    Step 3
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
    Step 4
    Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
    Step 5
In OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and fix the issues listed in the Summary, if any.
    Step 6
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.
    Step 7
You may need to change other settings on the router. See the guidelines linked below:
Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    Potential sources of interference
    Step 8
Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
    Step 9
Reset the System Management Controller (SMC).

    Hi suk,
You need to create a business system in yuour CRM system w.r.t your R/3(BS<SID>) which shjould be same as the business system you created in PI system for R/3.

my time capsule cannot connect to my system and I get an error msg -6753. I also get a clicking noise when I start up. I've tried every thing from re setting, un plugging and re setting but nothing works. Anybody have the same problem ?

A "clicking noise" is often a sign that a hard drive is malfunctioning. Suggest that you power down the device and take it to an Apple store to have them take a look, or contact Customer Service at Apple for instructions.

  • Problem while connecting to a system

    Hi,
I want to connect to a system but i am not able to do so. I have provided proper information and created the alias too.
The strange part is that it works on some of the local machines but does not work when i try to see the same portal on the remote machine.
    Any clue?

Well, thats coz you dont have a SAP GUI there on the Remote Server.
It should work on any client which has the SAP GUI installed.
Try it on any other client which has the GUI and let me know if that solves your problem

  • Mavericks install incomplete. No Apple installers on HD. Will I be able to upgrade to Yosemite and will it fix all that didn't install with Mavericks upgrade? Very slow connection speeds 30 hrs to download Mavericks. Tried re-install; no help/

Ever since upgrade to Mavericks I have been having problems which are too numerous to mention. I finally found a program from a UCBerkley professor called Pacifier which indicated 4000+ of 400,000+ files and folders did not install. I was unable to go further to try to fix everything because Pacifier can't find ANY Apple installers on my HD. It recommended I download the Mavericks installer without reinstalling to continue; however, after having done so (very slow connection; takes 30 hours to download) and although the installer appears in apps while downloading it disappears and NO Apple installer packages can be found on my hard drive. I tried to download Yosemite once and it indicated my system wasn't eligible for the upgrade. Its' download time was similar to Mavericks; 28+ hours.
    I am using a Macbook Pro mid-2012 version OS X 10.9.5 (13F34); Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5; Memory  4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3; Graphics  Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB.
Regardless of how many files and apps I remove my memory is being eaten up to the point I can hardly do anything at all. There are no civil words for how frustrated I am. Someone please help me.
    Thanks,
    JJ

Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.
