Problem creating custom tags for site that has no outside internet connecti

I've created a set of custom tags that work fine until we install our app at the customer site. The customer site has no outside Internet access, and so the DOCTYPE is failing since it references the web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd located on Sun's site.
I tried copying the dtd locally and got it to work, but the solution sucks because this web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd file is referenced in both my taglib.tld file AND the web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd itself. Soooo....I can put in a URL that references it on the local machine, e.g.,
In the taglib.tld file:

but that means for every client that uses this app (and we have several) I have to change that URL inside both these files.

It seems like I must be missing something here. This shouldn't be this hard. And it seems funny that to use custom tags, you have to have Internet access in the first place.

Yeah, I think it's a bit ridiculous that in order to make all the tag library examples and instructions work, you have to have access to the Internet. I haven't seen a single example on how to make it work if there is no Internet access. That's very limiting. And I've tried all sorts of other ways of doing it, such as

but even then it won't work because I get an error message saying:

I just don't think I should have to place this file in the bin directory. There has to be another way. Do I need to modify the dtd somehow? Cuz the dtd has the following line...is this messing it up??

Why does my iPhone not show up in iTunes on a mac that has a shared internet connection from another mac?

I have what I would consider a difficult question. I called Apple Care and after she spoke to a senior advisor,the representative ended up saying it wasn't possible.
Having said that, I'm sure this is not a difficult question for people with networking expertise.
Setup
So...I have a MacBook receiving a WiFi signal via AirPort.
In System Preferences, I have turned on Internet sharing (share airport over Ethernet).
I connected the Ethernet port on my MacBook to the Ethernet port on my MDD PowerMac G4.
At this point, I can successfully browse the web, perform software updates, and view other computers and iTunes libraries on my network from my G4.
Goal
However, in iTunes on my G4 I would like to use iTunes DJ.
Tried
So...I click on iTunes DJ.
I set the settings (button in bottom right) to allow guest remotes, etc.
I turned on iTunes Home Sharing (logged into the same account as by iPhone).
Problem
However, from the Remote app on my iPhone, I am unable to see the library on my G4.
Also, if I want to pair my iPhone Remote app with iTunes on my G4, I click add Library in the Remote app, but iTunes on the G4 never displays my iPhone in the left column (although I am able to see all other iTunes libraries being shared on the network).
Thus, I cannot connect to iTunes as a guest Remote, nor can I connect as paired remote.
I have successfully done both of these things with computers connected directly to my modem, as well as with computers connected via WiFi.
The problem is connecting devices to computers that get their internet connection though another computer via internet sharing.
Question
So my question is about Internet sharing itself. Is it not a fully featured ad-hoc network? Does it only provide browsing capabilities and the ability to browse networked computers, but NOT devices such as an iPhone? I don't see the difference; my iPhone is on the same network as the computers, so why is there no communication between it and computers that gain their Internet connection through another computer?
I really hope someone out there who is an expert in networking can help me out with this. Or if it truly is impossible, if someone could explain to me why that is the case, I would also appreciate it.
ps. I usually have my MacBook sharing its Internet connection through an old router that I am using as a switch because I share the connection with three other computers. And if it isn't obvious, the modem is downstairs, and the MacBook, old router being used as a switch, and other computers are upstairs where there is no Ethernet wired.

Sub components problem in custom tag

Hi!
Im writing custom tag that do nothing but can contains other components.
So first I create custom tag with hendler that extends UIComponentTag and component class that extends UIComponentBase
now tag work but i dont see sub components on the page
Second i override encodeChildren and getFamily methods with:

Regarding the "Creating a purchase order form that has a flowable layout" Help Tutorial, I can't seem to get the data to pull in for just the PO in question, is there a secret?
Ideally, it should create one form for each PO with the detail lines for each PO on the individual forms. Can we do this?

If the smartform purchase order is not available in your system
means you can download the form IDES and you can upload the form in ur ecc 6.0 system.we faced a similar kind of problem in our system and we did as i said.
Once you uploaded the things you can easily view the form interface and rest of the things related to smartforms.

How to create custom template for webcenter portal application

Hi,
I created webcenter portal application in my jdev using the webcenter portal application template provided by the webcenter framework.
I tried to create custom template for my application by following steps:
1. Created new application using webcenter portal application template with all default package structure.
2. Right click pagetemplates folder under webcontent package and select new option.
3. New gallery opens up.
4. Selected JSF under webtier and JSF Page Template under items in the right hand side and clicked Ok button.
5. New wizard opens up for creating new JSF page template.
6. Gave template name(file name) and Page Template Name(template def name).
7. Selected checkbox staing start a Quick Start Layout and selected three column layout and selected Ok.
8. Selected checkbox for Create Associated ADFm Page Defination(so that page templates can be changes at run time).
9. Created some Facet Definations (header, footer, content1, content2, LHN, RHN).
10. Clicked Ok button which will create custom template.
11. Added some Panel Group Layout component from Component Palette.
12. Created new page (.jspx) with this template.
Now when I try to add producer portlets created using Producer Portlet application template and connected to the above application using WSRP2.0, I'm facing problem.
The prolem is that I'm not able to add more than one portlet in one single page?
Kindly let me know whether the steps followed by me is wrong some where and needs to corrected and let me know how I can add more than one portlet to page?
Basically I cant see more than one placeholders in my page to add portlets.

In the step 9 I had mentioned that I created various facet definations (header, footer, content, content1 RHN and LHN).
Is this is not facet you are talking about or should I drop facet ref from the resource palette?

Can i use Custom Tags for Database retrieval (as per MVC pattern)?

In our project we are dealing with database, and i've used the Cutom Tags for database retrieval (as per the Article from Mr Faisal Khan) and it is working fine. But i have a doubt if it affects the performance in any way . I wanted to know if its recommendable to use Custom Tags for the DB retrieval as per MVC Pattern or shall i create a intermediate bean and then call the bean in custom tag.

Putting database code in your JSPs certainly couples your view to the database. That's usually not good.
If it's a simple app, it might be justified.

Is it possible to create custom theme for displaying clustered columns chart on Power View?
Basically I am looking to create chart with specific colors for the bars? For e.g. for High - RED, Medium - Orange and Low - Yellow color. When I look at themes available in Excel 2013 I don't see this combination as such, so I was looking to create one
myself.

In Power View, it has several default theme colors for us to apply to our workbook. Also, we can change the Font, Text Size and Background of the chart. However, it is not support to design a custom theme color.
You can refer to the following steps to change the theme colors:
1. On the POWER VIEW tab, in the Themes group, click Themes.
2. Under Built-in, click the theme that you want to use.

There are differences between each Mac and what the original configuration of the Mac is/was. If your Mac originally came with an Optical drive, burning the ISO to a DVD and using it will work. Hardware modifications like Optibay will cause problems. Modifying Bootcamp info.plist will cause problems. Disk Utility partitioning will cause problems. A custom Hybrid MBR will cause problems. External Optical drives are unlikely to work. There is long litany of grief.

Your question is not clear for me. Since it is a TEM infotype, it could be a PD infotype.
If you wish to create a PD infotype, use transaction PPCI to create the infotype.
But before that you need to create a structure HRInnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.
If you wish to create a PA infotype, use transaction PM01 to create the infotype.
But before that you may be required to create a strcuture PSnnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.

I have a online form created with my paid account that has been working for months that just started displaying a message that starts "This form was easily created for FREE with FormsCentral. See how..." The inline frame that it shows up in has also changed to be very small. The form is set to open in FormsCentral and shows the message and inline frame size when I choose preview. What's up?

There exist the JSTL SQL taglib, but I don't recommend this. It should only be used for quick development and testing. For database connectivity, rather create a data layer with DAO classes which you on its turn just plug in your business layer (with servlets).
