Problem getting style option on CFREPORT tag to work.
I am trying to alter the report format at run time using the style option on CFREPORT. I am actually trying to change the margins, but have tried everything I can think of. So I copied the code right out of the documentation to change the color. My code looks like

However, the report color is not changed. I figure if I can get color to work, I can then get the margins in place of it. But the statement appears to make no changes.
Anyone got any ideas? Have you ever gotten the style option to work? If so, can you let me see your statement?

I have added a style and modified it on the fly using the style option.

The problem here is that the name of your PDF file includes an apostrophe and it is being coded by iWeb and interpreted by your server in different ways, which is leading to the "File not found" error message when you click on the link.
I would encourage you to simplify your filenames and pagenames and sitenames, because long names with spaces and other special non-alphanumeric characters will get converted into their character codes and may not be interpreted correctly by browsers or other servers.
Change the name of your PDF file, maybe to a simple "application.pdf". Relink it to your text link. Republish and I think you will see an improvement.

Can't get display options in FCP 6 to work?

Can't seem to get my canvas to play in Digital Cinema Desktop Preview - Full Screen, or RAW or Main or regular....firstly what are the differences in these and how can I get them to display...nothing happens when I select either of them.
I've got a MAC PRO 3.0, using latest FCP 6.0.5, editing in a Apple Pro Res HQ seq, HDV footage, 23" apple and a DELL 24" display...can't get any of the VIEW options to work...solution?

I am having a problem getting the Zoom Text Only Feature to work
I am being told that this problem is unique to my Firefox Browser, and only changes the entire page, text included,..
I realize you are trying to repeat something someone at a "help" desk told you but I can't figure out what the question is. Maybe you could tell us what the problem is and what you told them. Might help if we knew the url, but I'm guessing it's a financial site, so just explain the problem as best you can. Were you in private browsing -- settings not saved
Do you have any idea why you were told that your problem is unique compared to others using Firefox, or maybe that you were told that Firefox was unique.

I have imported an mp3 to my Library. I want to keep it as media kind = podcast but no matter how often I change the tag in get info > options > media kind, the change will not persist, and the file remains in my Music list not my Podcast list.

I always use firefox to browse the internet. When I attempt to save a picture from ebay I have always enlarged the picture, right click, the clicked "save picture as". Now when I right click I don't get that option. All it will let me do is save the entire ebay item file. When I right click on the enlarged picture, the small picture, or the white near the enlarged photo my icon choices are: 1.Copy 2. Select All 3.Yahoo 4. Search Yahoo for "Please wait imag" 5. View selection source. Is this a firefox problem or a yahoo issue? Please help. Thanks John

I am trying to save a photoshop CS6 psd file to jpg and get an option jpg, jpg2000 or jpg stereo, I choose jpg and then Mac 256 colours, normal or interlaced. I just want regular jpg with a high resolution. What am I doing wrong? , never had this problem before. Help!!!
Your description of the issue is not clear:
What format, bit depth and color was your original file "from the net"? It sounds like it was a Color Indexed GIF, which would cause what you are describing.
In the Macintosh Finder, select said "net image" and do a Get Info on it (Command+i). When the Info box appears in the Finder, take a screen shot and upload it here by using the little camera icon in the Reply Editor in the forum's web interface.
If the image is a 256-color GIF, remember the rule: GIGO = garbage in, garbage out. -
Get UID of Paragraph Style that is edited in Paragraph Style Options dialog
Paragraph styles can be edited in the "Paragraph Style Options" selectable dialog. I am adding an addition style option panel to this dialog. How can I retrieve the UID of the paragraph style that is currently being displayed in this "Paragraph Style Options" dialog? Can this be obtained in the dialog controller of the additional style option panel (I need to obtain this UID to display and store additional style data)?

However when I am trying to get text attributes for Find Change dialog, the IID_IUIDDATA == 0 and therefor returns nothing when trying to get attributes.
Now if I try this code

It should be easy since they are different bosses like you mentioned previously, but I cant figure how to find that info in dialog.

Problems getting title tags to stick
I am trying to use iweb SEO Tool to add Title tags and analytics code to my website. I go through the process and the SEO tool says that changes have been saved to my idisk website. But when I go to google and google Nightmare 13 it still has the old title tag. The name of my website is:

I want the title tag to be (I think):
Water Skier Freddy Krueger Jump Suits, Boat Propellers, Apparel
If anyone is familiar with the SEO tool and would be willing to give some advice to a total hack I would really appreciate the help!

The img src is relative to the sub page, and I have tried it with an absolute address (ie. http://localhost/.....) with the same result.
If I call the sub page direct (get with browser) the image tag works. Its just if the sub page is imported with the jstl core import tag.
I've not tried a base tag. The real project always returns pages containing absolute urls... http://ourReportServer/reports?....plenty of params so dont belive relevant, please correct me if Im wrong here though.

I have run into a peculiar problem with the Safari browser on mobile platforms (IPad, IPod, IPhone) which I hope I can find a solution for in this community.

On this particular product, the product variants are supposed to work in such a way where:
If you select the value "1/8" from the "Choose Ribbon Width" field
THEN
The only options active and available to choose from in the "Choose Roll Size" field should be: 500 Yds, 20 Yds & Sample Swatch
Now, if we browse to the above link in Safari using a desktop or a laptop, there are no problems at all, but if we browse to the above link using an IPhone or an Ipad, then we have a problem where all the options are available regardless of the values chosen, basically the above functonality does not work.
I was told that there an issue with Safari in Iphones and Ipads where it does not recognize option disabled="disabled" tag properly, is this true? Can anyone advise me if there is a solution to this problem? I would sincerely apperciate it.

Unable to reset some settings values in Character Style Options back to "inherited"
Hi!
First, unfortunately Paragraph Styles and Character Styles are not so cool as in InDesign in Photoshop. I hope it will be updated in future versions because good typography is very actual now.
Here is one of issues:
I can't set Font Family and Color in Character Style Options back to inherited ones, i.e. to reset/empty it. Onse I set some custom font/color for Character Style (manually or after "Redefine..") I can't remove it, only set new one. And since Character Style is another level of abstraction over Paragraph Style this behavior is very annoying - I always need to check what font is set up for characters, change it or even delete this character style and create a new one with same settings but default (empty) font family.
Fortunately some other settings (font size, leading and all other inputs/selects with editable value) can be reset (emptied) - that's why I consider situation with font family/color as buggy/raw.
What do you think about this? May be I don't know some secret tricks/technics to fix it?
Thank youI purchased the same laptop from Wal-mart in late August, I have had nothing but problems. Going from one program to another within the computer takes forever, the pages constantly say "not responding", getting on the internet takes all day, anti virus software has been installed, scans have been run which might I add took three days to do because the computer kept freezing and I had to manually restart. Un-installing programs is next to impossible as every time I start and sit and wait 10 minutes later I am still waiting, try to get out of the program and it won't let me. I try ctrl alt del which doesn't help. I took mine back to Wal-mart a week over the amount of time they allow for returns which is ridiculously short and they would not take it back. I have spent numerous hours trying everything under the sun to get this 2 month old computer to work and to meet up to my expectations of a brand new laptop computer and I am almost ready to chunk it out the backdoor. I am very disappointed in this product and will never buy another Toshiba. My family owns a Dell laptop and 2 HP laptops and we love them. This laptop was purchased for my children to do schoolwork as they are homeschooled and unfortunately they have not been able to do ANY! Take my advice, DO NOT BUY this product!

I am facing issue with work flow where Workflow goes to Suspend mode.
I am facing an issue with SP2013 Custom Workflow developed using Visual Studio 2012.
Objective of the Custom workflow: User fills the form and submit, list get updated and workflow will initiate and go for the process.
Issue: After the deployment of WF, for first time when user is filling the form and submit, list is getting updated. But the Workflow Goes to "Suspend" mode. (
This Custom Workflow has a configuration file where we are providing other details including ID of Impersonator (farm is running under Claim Based Authentication).
Work flow works fine once when the Impersonator initiate the workflow (Fill the form and submit for approval) and everything works fine after that.
Following steps are already performed
1.Make sure User profile synchronization is started.
2.Make sure the user is not the SharePoint system user.
3.Make sure the user by whom you are logged is available in User Profile list.
4.Step full synchronization of User Profile Application.
From the ULS logs it seems the user's security token from the STS service and User profile service is not being issued.
Appreciate any thoughts or solution.

Problem getting parameter values at the service end point
I am having problem getting parameter values at the service end point. I created service end point and this method is having 35 parameters and then i created test client file using Sun One Studio 5. but when i run this test client and make a call to service it sends wrong value to first three parameters to the service end point. I tried all the way round but it gave me same sort of problem. I change the order of parameters change the names of parameters but it didn�t work. And then i started chopping of parameter from the left side. And my problem is solved when my parameter list reached to 12 from 35. So is it a bug or some problem with my configuration or some thing else.
I am using sun one studio 5 with sun one app 7. My service end point does very simple thing. It only takes out put of the parameter to the server log file. And my wsdl file seems all right. There is no conflict with the count and data type of the parameter information it contains.

ThanksI just found that there is a bug with Sun One Studio 5. It creates faulty JSP file to test the client for the web services. With above problem I tested my web services using different developing environment such as Jdeveloper 10g. I created client stub using wsdl file generated by sun one studio. And made call to my web service and all the parameter reached perfectly at service end point. And then I used stub class created by sun one studio for the client and made the same call. And it also went well. So the problem is with the test application (JSP File) sun one creates for my web service.
This is the majore problem i faced during the development. But still there is many problem along with this which is not seriouse enough but requires attension. I would like sun developers to make sun one studio IDE simpler and handy . -
If someone includes a photo in the email body message (I use yahoo), if I right click on the image to save it to my computer, I only get the option to save it as a firefox document - secure download. If I save it as such and then click on the link, it takes me to a page full of weird code.

I would like to be able to right click on the photo as save the image to my computer.If Firefox doesn't saves the image with a valid image file extension like .jpg or .png then you need to add that file extensions yourself. You can rename already saved images and change the file extension to get working images. Add quotes around the name while renaming ("image.jpg") if Windows hides the current file extension or refuses to change the name (i.e you get image.jpg.html).
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Hi,
I have a PC running Windows 7 - 64bit OS. I have had iTunes installed since the beginning of the year on this computer and have not had any trouble with it except actually using iTunes but that is a different issue. The other day I inadvertently downloaded "Tuneup" which I don't want or need. I firstly want to say I have no concrete evidence that Tuneup has led to my problems. It may be coincidental that Tuneup and my problems appeared together.
Tonight when I started iTunes, Tuneup took over a quarter of the screen on the right side. I closed this program. When the list of tracks was ready to be loaded from the CD and I went to" file" - "get info" option the message "iTunes has stopped working" would appear. Closing this message resulted in iTunes shutting down. I should say that before I closed the message the computer had essentially ground to a halt. The other curious thing was the behavour of the mouse pointer on the screen - the only place where it was visible was in the "iTunes has stopped working" box. Moving it out of the message box resulted in it disappearing. It would reappear if it were caused to wander into the message box.
I subsequently removed Tuneup (control panel, programs and features, etc...) iTunes had not improved. I then deleted iTunes, firstly saving the library to a file on the desktop. Then I did a fresh(?) install of ITunes but there seems to be no change. A curious thing was even though I had deleted iTunes through the control panel the library was still there as if I had done nothing. The whole thing is a complete mystery and extremely galling.
If someone has had a similar problem I would really like to know what the fixes were.

Also, reinstalling Quicktime has worked for others having this same issue.
