Problem in adding custom area to ESS

Hi All,
I have created an Area in SPRO and done all the sub area, service assignment with the PCD page path. When I click the link on the Portal I get an exception saying
Fatal error: Area ZNEWAREA does not exist
In the XssMenu iview, when I change the parameter to any SAP provided area then it works fine. But I am getting this error only for the area I created.
My environment is ESS BP 60.2 and ESS components SP 18 on Portal 7.0 SP 9 with ECC 5.0.
There is a refrence of OSS Note 903370 in earlier posts to solve this problem. But this note seems to have been removed from service parket place.
I have posted the entire exception trace below for your reference.
I would be happy to reward points and close this issue.

Problem in adding Custom Provider for Work Management Service

I'm facing an issue in adding custom provider for work management service. As you are aware, Work management service is a Provider model and we
can integrate with other systems by adding custom providers. So with that confidence, i have started writing a connector as mentioned below.
Step - 1: Added new provider xml in the below path

Step – 3: Written a class to fetch the tasks from BizAgi System which has method to provide the task data.
But I’m not able to feed those tasks in the class written in Step – 2 as I’m able to find any method which will take Tasks as Input and I’m not
sure about the format of tasks.
I’m able to debug the provider, and the breakpoint hitting in only one method and two properties.
(LocalizedProviderName, ProviderName, GetDashboardExtensionInfo).
Can you please help me to proceed further in implementing the above solution?

Hi Mahesh,
Although the implementation of work management service application is based on the provider model, I reckon the current SP 2013 RTM does not support custom providers. Only SharePoint task lists, Project server and MS Exchange are supported for now.

Problem in adding custom metada properties

Hi All,
I want to add some custom properties while creating a document in KM repository. I am getting problem while adding the custom group in the property structure "all_groups"...
This is waht i have done so far,
1) I created the custom metadata properties..
2) Created one property struture group XXX and added all the metadata properties in the gruop items field...
3) Added this structure group in all_groups. While saving the changes, its saying "These changes would introduce problematic settings: Group item "XXX" is neither a property ID nor a group name defined in the configuration. Check whether it is the ID of an unmodelled property or the ID is misspelled. Click on OK or Apply to confirm these changes. "
After saving it, following massege is displayed,
"The following configuration objects have some invalid or problematic properties: "all_groups"..
Also the newly created structure is not getting displayed in the document properties.
Please help me.

Problem in adding custom table's field in MM46

Hi,
I have a complex requirement of adding fields of custom table in MM46 for mass maintance.
I did most of the part but dont know what is missed.
Steps that i followed
1. used tcode MASSOBJ- I Added Ztable name to application table for Object type - BUS1001001.Here i dont know what to provide in other attributes of entry example Number, DB table etc. [SCREENSHOT OF MASSOBJ|https://plus.google.com/photos/114088763388693559922/albums/5704943614516268609]
2. Used tcode OMSR- I added entry of Ztable'field here i gave selection group as 211, maint status as KDEVALBQPSZXCFG

After doing these steps Table name and field of table is visible in mm46. But problem is Field is not editable that is in display mode only.

Problem with adding text area in scroll pane

hi , i have been facing this funny problem , but cant able to get solution.
the problem is i am trying to add text area in scroll pane , but when i add textarea in scroll pane using scrollpane.add(textarea) that text area remain disable always. i tried making it enable explicility but that code is not working.

You don't use the add(...) method for JScrollPane. Use:
a) new JScrollPane( textArea );
b) scrollPane.getViewport().setView( textArea );

The step 1 of 5 isn't visible for me and I don't see the "Install from local file" option to select the adf-faces-bundle.zip from my file system. The OTN check for updates don't prove the ADF Faces...
What may I do?

Custom fields in ESS webdynpro applications

Hi Experts,
Can you please suggest me where I am going wrong in this scenario? I have a standard application Family member application. We enhanced the infotype 0021 with new fields and corresponding fields are added in screen structures and HCMT_BSP_PA_JP_r0021. This is working fine in the backedn while creating a record in PA30. Standard application in webdynpro is working fine, after that I reimported the model in webdynpro and I can see these fields in my model, so I context binded them in controllers and then to view controllers. There are no errors in it. I added few fields in detail layout. Now when I deployed and run the application after these changes, it is opening up with bizcard view empty and the button for creating a new record showing up, which is not the case should be as I have record in the backend for the same subtype. When I clicked on New record, and even withought filling up required fields, I clicked on continue button, and it is failing giving runtime exception at review view.
Does anybody have any suggestions for me? am I doing the proper steps to make these custom fields available in the screen? does anybody have documentation for adding custom fields in ESS applications or any helpful links, please let me know, I really appreciate your time.

Hi all,
this is lil wierd but the problem is solved in this way.., it might be useful for others, so here is the way I did..,
Once I downloaded the model, I invalidated cache and also, I restarted J2EE, invalidation of cache sometimes acting up i guess. Then build it once again if the service is working fine. After that model bindings, contaxt changes, code changes one at a time and in between after every lil step, I deployed and run the service again, so that I can back that small step if it didnt work out.., finally this was fixed.., but all this process seems wierd about this approach and tiresome too.

I recently purchase a full membership student yearly plan. I was prompted to this page after my payment was confirmed - https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
However I continue to receive the error "We are currently experiencing some issues, please try again later. If the problem persists, contact customer support."
What is going on here?
Is there another way to access Creative Cloud download and installation?

If you continue to face difficulties then I would recommend beginning the installation process through the Creative Cloud Desktop directly. Why do all of the desktop application installations fail with this message:

(Although the application name matches the respective application).
The troubleshooting guide refers to error numbers but none of the failures provide error numbers.

Since you are experiencing the difficulty with multiple web browser then it would need to be caused by something global such as anti virus software. Any software which will affect your web browsers ability to accept cookies and secure connections could be causing the behavior you are experiencing.
I would also recommend clearing your cache and cookies if you have not done so already.
If you can please update this discussion with the software title and version of the software, affecting your ability to download Adobe software, it would be appreciated.
