javax.swing.JCheckBox[,0,0,0x0,invalid,alignmentX=0.0,alignmentY=0.5,border=javax.swing.plaf.BorderUIResource$CompoundBorderUIResource@f9f9d8,flags=296,maximumSize=,minimumSize=,preferredSize=,defaultIcon=,disabledIcon=,disabledSelectedIcon=,margin=javax.swing.plaf.InsetsUIResource[top=2,left=2,bottom=2,right=2],paintBorder=false,paintFocus=true,pressedIcon=,rolloverEnabled=true,rolloverIcon=,rolloverSelectedIcon=,selectedIcon=,text=].
Help Me in solving this problem

Hi,
All the thing you have to do is to return a boolean for the column. JTable will use a checkbox (as default) to show boolean values.

• How to solve the problem of adding memorystream object as parameter ?

Hii every one ..
I am facing an problem at the time of retriving image from database and below my code and at the time of adding parameter as memorystream object i am getting an error i.e invalid parameter value.
     if (dd.Photo != null)
                                MemoryStream mrs = new MemoryStream();
                                mrs.Write(dd.Photo, 0, dd.Photo.Length);
                                mrs.Position = 0;
         System.Drawing.Image imge = System.Drawing.Image.FromStream(mrs);   // This is the line where i am getting the error i.e invalid parameter value.
                                BitmapImage bit = new BitmapImage();
                                bit.BeginInit();
                                MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream();
                                imge.Save(ms, System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Bmp);
                                ms.Seek(0, SeekOrigin.Begin);
                                bit.StreamSource = ms;
                                bit.EndInit();
                                img.Source = bit;
          How to solve this ?
If you think above code is wrong then tell me how to retrieve the image from database dynamically in wpf. In database i stored the image as an byte array and by clicking next button i want that the image can bind with Image controller.
S.K Nayak

System.Drawing.Image is used in Windows Forms.
If dd.Photo is a byte[] you could create an Image like this:
if (dd.Photo != null && dd.Photo.Length > 0) {
BitmapImage bitmapImage = new BitmapImage();
using (var mrs = new MemoryStream(dd.Photo)) {
mrs.Position = 0;
bitmapImage.BeginInit();
bitmapImage.CreateOptions = BitmapCreateOptions.PreservePixelFormat;
bitmapImage.CacheOption = BitmapCacheOption.OnLoad;
bitmapImage.UriSource = null;
bitmapImage.StreamSource = mrs;
bitmapImage.EndInit();
bitmapImage.Freeze();
img.Source = bitmapImage;
<Image x:Name="img" />

• Problem when adding java objects in a vector and passing thru web service

Hi! I'm getting this error when I try to add a java object I created into a vector and passing it through a web service: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No Serializer found to serialize a 'testObj' using encoding style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'
This does not happen when I simply add strings or Integer objects into the vector. What am I missing?
Thanks.

just chek this

It would be great if you could paste the wsdl part for that vector and just have a look for the complex typr cntent
like for HashMap we have the following mapping
<complexType name="HashMap">
      <sequence>
        <element name="item" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded">
          <complexType>
            <sequence>
              <element name="key" type="anyType" />
              <element name="value" type="anyType" />
            </sequence>
          </complexType>
        </element>
      </sequence>
</complexType>Since in Value it should again contain a mapping for the Object which you are trying to pass then only an appropriate serializer and deserilaizer would get generated. Hope this answers your query. For refernece

• JTable sorting - problem when adding elements (complete code inside)

Im writing this email with reference to a recent posting here but this time with the code example. (I apologize for the duplicated posting this time it will be with the code)
Problem: when adding more elements to the JTable (sorted) the exception: ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is thrown.
Example: If the elements in the table are 10 and then the user requests for 8 the table will produce the correct result. However, if the user will ask for 11 items (>10) the exception will be thrown.
The program: The program below (compiles and running). A JTable is constructed with 3 items, when you click the button - the return result should be 4 items - this will generate the error, WHY?
I would highly appreciate your thoughts why this is happening and most importantly how to fix it.
Thanks a lot

• Adding JcheckBox in JTable

Hi there,
I have a JcheckBox in a JTable. Whenever I click the Checkbox , on that particular cell it display true , when Clicked and false when I click again. Is there any way that I could disable that ?, I also wanted to center the Jcheckbox ?
Thanks

Similar way I'm using in other class & it is working.But a JTable is not the same as other components, which is why you should be using Boolean values.
You responded to my post 12 minutes after I posted my reply. That did not give you enough time to read the tutorial and understand how to use a JTable correctly!!!

• How do I add a JCheckBox to a JTable - URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hello All,
This is kicking my butt. I need to create a JTable that I can dynamically add and delete rows of data to and this table must contain a JCheckBox which I can read the value of. I've been able to find examples out there that provides the ability to have a JCheckBox in the JTable, but do not also provide the function to add / delete rows from the JTable. I need to have both funtions in my table. Can somebody out there please help me with this?
Here's a simple example that I'm working with as a test to figure this out. This example has the functionality to add rows of data.
Thanks in advance.
import java.awt.*;
import java.awt.event.*;

         BorderLayout layout;
         DefaultTableModel model;
         public static void main(String[] args)
              TableTest app = new TableTest();
              app.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
         public TableTest()
              super("Table Example");
              layout = new BorderLayout();
              Container container = getContentPane();
              container.setLayout(layout);
              btnAdd = new JButton("Add");
              btnAdd.addActionListener(this);
              model = new DefaultTableModel();
              JTable table = new JTable(model);
              // Create a couple of columns
              model.addColumn("Col1");
              model.addColumn("Col2");
              // Append a row
              model.addRow(new Object[] { "v1", "v2" });
              model.addRow(new Object[] { "v3", "v4" });

         public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
              if (e.getSource() == btnAdd)
                   model.addRow(new Object[]{"Test", new Boolean(true)});
}

I got it, I added the public Class getColumnClass to new DefaultTableModel(). Here it is for your viewing pleasure.

• Capturing events from a JCheckBox in a JTable cell

I am trying to capture item state changed event from a JCheckbox in a JTable. When user selects checkbox I do insert in database and on deselect I do delete from database. The item state changed event is not firing correctly...can you please tell me what I am doing wrong. My JTable uses CustomModel which is used by many other apps. So I can not really modify CustomModel only to work with my JTable. Here is my code.
public class MyClass extends JPanel
.....some code to add panel, jscorollpane, etc.
ResultSet res;
GUI gui; //Custom Class to deal with different GUI layouts
JTable myJTable = new JTable();
GUI.CustomModel custModel;
public void init()
         displayJTable();
attachCheckBoxListeners();
private void displayForms()
         res = //resultset from DB
Vector cols = new Vector(10);
cols.addElement(new Integer(1);
gui.DisplayResultSetinTabel(res, myJtable, cols, null);
custModel= (GUI.CustomModel) ((TableSorter) myJTable.getModel()).getModel();
custModel.setEditableColumn(0, true);
//Attach CheckBox Listener to all the checkbox in JTable
private void attachCheckBoxListeners()
for(int row = 0; row< myJTable.getRowCount(); row++)
Object val = cm.getValueAt(row, 0);
final JCheckBox jcb = (JCheckBox) gridForms.getCellEditor(row, 0).getTableCellEditorComponent(gridForms, val, true, row, 0);
jcb.addItemListener( new java.awt.event.ItemListener() // Add Item Listener to trap events
public void itemStateChanged(java.awt.event.ItemEvent event)
                   if(myJtable.getSelectedRow() == -1) // if no row is selected in table return
                        return;
                   try
                   if (res.absolute(myJtable.getSelectedRow())+1))
         if(jcb.isSelected())
saveData();();
         else
deleteData();
         catch(Exception e)
System.out.println("ERROR ");
} //end of AttachCheckBoxListeners ()
private void SaveData() {}
private void DeleteData() {}
Okay....the problem is when JCheckBox state is changed (by user) from Selected to Deselected itemStateChanged() is fired and it does delete from database. then again itemStateChanged() called it detects Jcheckbox as selected and does inseret in database. On Jtable gui...that checkbox is still shown as desected.
Please tell me what is going on here.....
Thank you.

In short - never listen to low-level events from editorComponents (low-level meaning everything below - and most of the time including - a editingStopped/editingCancelled of the cellEditor). Your problem belongs to the model realm - save if a cell value is changed - so solve it in the model realm by listening to event from the tableModel and trigger your business logic when you detect a change in that particular cell value.

• Having problem displaying remote shared objects on flash

hi
I am using red5 flash server and at that side creating a shared object called chatSharedObject
For the client side,I am using openlaszlo platform, but using actionscript 3  classes for the shared object implementation. cilent application is connecting to the shared object on the red5 side successfully(as I see on the red5 logs).
here is the calling code snippet:
<button id="sendButton">send
          <handler name="onclick" method="sendClicked" />
          <method name="sendClicked" args="v=0">
            if (message.text != "") {
        //Debug.write("Message sent!");
        classroot.writeSharedObject(message.text);
        message.clearText();
        message.setAttribute("text_y", 0);
        </method>
</button>
<method name="writeSharedObject" args="message">
//shared object send method is being called
        this.send("writeMessage",loginScreen.getUsername(),message);
</method>
<!--this method writes the messages to the debug window which will be shown to all users-->
<method name="writeMessage" args="username, msg">
        //Debug.debug(msg);
        messageArea.addText(username+ " : "+msg+"\n");
</method>
When I generate the flash object and try to use this application, nothing is being displayed although there is no problem on this issue on the development enviroment. Problem causes when I try to run the swf10 flash object.
Is this maybe a flash security issue? Although I have added the corresponding locations as the trusted location on the flash settings manager. Still problem goes on. And I think this is not about the flash player, it might be a special problem about the flash object.
Couldn't find the solution for a week,
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Cem

i can even gointo firefox and chrome and save the shared object. then open my i.e and see that object in the results page. but if i save the shared object in i.e it throws that error on the results page. So i'm pretty sure it must be the flushing of the object. Pasting my save code below:
function makeResult(evt:MouseEvent):void{
          var flushstatus:String = new String();
          gSo.data.o = o;
          gSo.data.c = c;
          gSo.data.t = t;
          gSo.data.c = v;
          gSo.data.u=uid;
          flushstatus = gSo.flush();
          if (flushstatus != null) {
            switch (flushstatus) {
              case SharedObjectFlushStatus.PENDING: //this is incase the user doesnt have enough space
                gSo.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onFlushStatus);
                break;
              case SharedObjectFlushStatus.FLUSHED:
                redirect();
                break;
function onFlushStatus(event:NetStatusEvent):void {
      switch (event.info.code) {
        case "SharedObject.Flush.Success":
          gSo.removeEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onFlushStatus);
          redirect();
          break;
        case "SharedObject.Flush.Failed":
          trace ("Shared object storage failed");
          break;
function redirect() {
      try{
        var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest('../node/2');// i supply a base parameter to the swf so the redirect works
        navigateToURL(request,"_self");

Hi guys! I get some problem about selecting all cells in JTable. I tried to used two methods:
1> table.selectAll()2> changeSelection(firstcell, lastcell,false,true)
firstcell:[0,0], lastcell[rowcount-1,colcount-1]
Result: only the first row selected when i use both methods.
Note: i set up the selection model as following:
this.dataSheet.setAutoResizeMode(JTable.AUTO_RESIZE_OFF);

While saving the changes, its saying "<b>These changes would introduce problematic settings: Group item "XXX" is neither a property ID nor a group name defined in the configuration. Check whether it is the ID of an unmodelled property or the ID is misspelled. Click on OK or Apply to confirm these changes. </b>"

• Problem in adding rows in a table

Hello All ,
I am having a strange problem in adding table rows here . All things seems to be in place . But when i click the button nothing happens . I have worked on much more complex tables and added rows safely but i cant understand what's happening here . I have saved the form as Dynamic XML form , interactive form , I have set the pagination of the repeating rows . But Heck !!! It's not working at all . I am totally confused . More over while i drag the table from the object palette an error appears and LC closes down .But when i click on the table at the toolbar and inserted table over there then it shows no error . What's happening ?? Any help is greatly appreciated .
Script : form1.Page1.Subform1.Button1::click - (JavaScript, client)
form1.Page1.Subform1.Table1.Row4.instanceManager.addInstance(1);
Thanks .
Bibhu.

Hi,
The way you described reminded me of another thread, where the index was not straightforward: Saving finished Form duplicates some subForms
You can post your form to Acrobat.com, hit the Share and Publish buttons when prompted and then copy / paste the link here.

• Manually added Authorization object

All ,
What is the impact for manually added authorization objects in the roles after the system upgrade??

My 2 cents, since I don't see any replies.
I try to avoid manual auth objects on a role as much as possible.  One problem with manually auth object is in PFCG, it will not give a reference to what transaction the auth object came from.  Unless thoroughly documented this can be an audit issue.
In regards to upgrades, I don't this it will have any affect.  It is usually the tcodes that are affected.

• Problem in adding new tabs in master data screens for RE-FX in ECC 6.0

Dear members,
I am working on RE-FX in ECC 6.0. I need some advice on the foll matter:
When displaying master data for Rental Object (Rental Space) (Tcode REBDRO) there are three tabs that are visible. They are General Data, Measurement and Area Shares. I would like the tab "Supplementary Texts" to also appear as the fourth tab. I have gone to the node Screen Sequence under the Dialog node under Usage View under Master Data in RE-FX.
I have added this screen to the sequence and have saved it successfully. Now when i am trying to display the rental space (RS) it is still not showing the tab that I just added. When I am trying to remove one of the existing tabs, by going into the same screen sequence I am successful in doing that. I am also able to add some of the other tabs. However every time I am trying to add the tab "Supplementary texts", I am failing to display it in the master data.
Request you to please help me as I am not an expert in RE-FX.
Regards,
Suvarghya Dutta

Hi Survaghya,
We are facing problem in adding tab to transaction RESCSU. We have followed all the steps mentioned by you , like
1. Go to transaction BUPT .
2. Select Application Object - transactuion BUS0.
3.Selected Application object as RESU.
4. And then went to all the following transactions.
        RESCSU0002     SU: Field Groups
        RESCSU0003     SU: Views
        RESCSU0004     SU: Sections
        RESCSU0005     SU: Screens
        RESCSU0006     SU: Screen Sequences.
5. Created one z function group , having 2 FM for PBO and PAI.
6. Also one subscreen having the field mapped to CI_INCLUDE - CI_VISCSU.
But still we are not able to see the tab on the settlemet screen.
We tried changing the screen sequence of existing tabs, we could change that, but after performing all the steps mentioned above we could not add new tab.
Please suggest where are we committing a mistake.
Thanks & Regards,
