Problem in background run

hi experts,
I want to run program everyday 17.00 hrs.
i have set the date as system date.
When i schedule the background job,system always taking as job created date only.
how to solve this issue.

to which transaction you are trying for back ground job?
anyhow, when you click back ground job for t-code, you get first printing parameters and then Start time screen. there you click on
1.date/Time tab
2.enter todays date and time is 17:00
3.mark tick to PERIODIC JOB (available in the bottom)
3.clcik on period values selct daily (in the bottom)
4.and save.
chek your job in SM37.
(and the time it take is as per the server time not your system time)

while updating to ensure that nobody are using the table you can lock the lock by using SAP locking mechanisam.
for this you create a lock object in ABAP Dictionary.A lock object contains the database table for which you want to specify a shared lock. When you activate the lock object obj , this generates two function modules with the names ENQUEUE obj and DEQUEUE obj. These function modules perform the explicit locking or releasing of SAP locks in an ABAP program.
call function ENQUEUE obj before updating the table and DEQUEUE obj before commit.To formulate a lock condition, you have to specify values for the primary key fields of the table contained in the lock object in the function modules.

Problem in background run output

Hi all,
I have a report in which output is displayed in REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY
format having around 25 columns , all displayed well if the report is run in foreground with limited data, but as the report has to be run in background for the large data , the output is coming in two rows, half the columns displayed in second rows, As i don't want it to be printed directly , I Just want that report o/p
run in background should give all columns in single row , so that i can download it to excel sheet. Please provide your valuable suggestions.

    wa_fldcat_head-seltext_l = 'Expired years start fiscal year'.----
>(in this just decrease how much u can )
    append wa_fldcat_head to it_fldcat_head.

VL10C and E having problem in Background run

Hi,
When i Try using VL10C, VL10E in Background mode i am not able to create any delivery and where as Foreground I can able to create with specific customer and material. Please suggest if you come across same senario in ECC 6 version.
Prog backgroud mode: RVV50R10C

Best is to configure the background job using transaction VL10BATCH. Make sure that you use one of the roles 5001/5002/5003/5101/5102/5103 in the user role tab.

HT3964 1st problem was IMac running slow. Shut down and unplugged several times with each time reboot being worse. Now, unplug reboot and eventually wallpaper background comes up but there are no icons?

Kurt, do you know which exact iMac this is?
Have you blown the dust out lately?
Does it do better if allowed to cool off for a couple of hours?
What do you see if you hold Option or alt key at bootup?
Does it boot from the install disc holding c key at bootup?

Time out problem in background

Hi All,
I am facing a problem with a select query while running the report in background (found out while debugging) where as the same select query while running in fore ground works fine.It is getting timed out.If anyone has faced simillar problem can you please let me know the reason and the way to solve the problem without changing the code.

but this is no timeout. If you canceled it manually there is no technical problem (besides the run time).
With stuck you mean that after 2 days it was (still / currently) executing this query, right?
In that case it looks like you have to do a performance analysis of the whole program execution. Check if you
can find anything that processes less data and runs faster. Take traces from this run.

Background run of a report

Hi all,
I want my report to run in background becoz it is taking more time in front time....when i have given some selection screen variants and click on F9...it is not going directly to background run...but instead it is executing in the front end and displaying the o/p and then when i click on back(F3) it is showing to enter background run parameters and then execute in background....but i want background to be done..before the frontend...when ever i click F9 it should display the background parameter to enter and execute in background...pls help

Did your KB2952664 Windows Update fail to install? Any errors?
Have you tried this troubleshooting method?

Problem in payment run.

Hi,
I have a problem when I run automatic payment program as it brings all open items into exception list and request to update payment method, house bank and account, when I try to update them it gives an error message stating this bank has no GL created to post entries for paymenthod "C" currency INR. I thoroughly checked bank master data to see the GL assigned, but suprisingly GL was updated in the bank master data. Can you please advice me what causing this problem. How can I fix it.

Check whether if payment method exist, payment block doesnot exists in the vendor master(FK03. Also, check whether there exists some open items as on the date of run.(Documents entered up to field date).
Select the check box Payment Method Selection in all cases in additional log while running F110.
Assign points if useful.

Will not complete a sync without crashing and saying cannot read to the device or something to that effect.
That sounds familiar.

I have a problem when I run the DTP

the day before , I load data in a PSA "MASTER DATA" mode full,
then in the morning I load data again this "MASTER DATA."
I can see that the same lines do not not present a problem but the lines were changed, i have a problem when I run the DTP?
I get this messages errors:

As this is a master data load, the attribute change run is mandatory before performing the next load.
The probable reason for this is in the master data table there is an entry for a characterisitic value and the load resulted in another value. The difference between these two records is the object version. Exisitng record will have A version and the changed record has M version.
So when we active master data(attribute change run ) then M version overwrites A version and hence on a net we have only one record in master data table.
Post the above task if we again load master data, as is in your case, then the record will find its place in M version.
As the activation is not performed(probably), the system finds it difficult, with previously loaded M version and currently loaded M version and hence the reason for the message.

The job completed successfully but data not posted.
The same Job was working perfectly till the starting of the May month.
but now it is not working and rebate has not been posted.
Where to check and what to check

Please first check the status of the Job , ifs successfully completed then debug it (tcode JDBG) and
check out, whether the values passed (might be using Import-export ,set-get parameter Ids) to the Job are getting passed properly or not. These values might not be getting passed properly.
If it has some error in Job Log then let me know the error.

Reschedulig Date Problem in Planning Run

Hello All,
Need Clarification..
The Scenario:
The Requirement date (OrdRes) is 13.02.2009, The planned Order generated is on 13.02.2009.
Now the OrdRes Date Changed Manually to 27.01.2009.
After Background MRP Run, in MD04 against the planned order, the Rescheduling date proposed is 27.01.2009 and exception message is 30 ( Plan process according to schedule).
System is Proposing the date, but not actually shifting the planned order.
If I re-run the MRP Manually, the Rescheduling is happening.
What at first place the rescheduling not happened? after manual MRP run the rescheduling happening?
P.N:
1. The Planned Order is not Firmed
2. The Planning Parameters are same for Background Run and Manual one.

Once u change the delivery date (order rervation of Header), system will create planning file entry for Child materail and set Exception message 30 of child planned order
When u run the MRP next, child material should be included in the Planning Run and rescheduling should be happened .
This is what my finidings, Please check.

Problem in Payment Run with Debit Memos

Hi Every one
I am facing the problem in payment run in which vendor debitmemos were picked up but they are in the exception list. I was observing it in various vendors and have tested in QA that as well when there is an invoice to be paid these debit memos automatically adjustedagainst those invoice and hence net amount is being paid. The problem is these debit memos were generated in exceptional list about an year ago but at that time they were not considered in payment as they had no invoice against it to net off. But after that everytime they run payment run they come in this exceptional although there is invoice against them to net off the payment. Can any body help me out in this regard what could be the possible reason for this and any solution for this. Thanks in advance.

In F110 while enteingr the parameters in the free selection choose the document number in the Field name
and give the document numbers of only invoices. dont include the debit meoms.
then you will not get the exception list at all.

If itunes is comming up and saying it can't read the device because it's locked with a passcode, you may have to put your device into recovery mode first.
To put your device in recovery mode: (Following these steps will erase your device and reset everything to factory defaults)
1) press and hold the power button until you see the slide to power off option
2) swipe to power off
3) Press and hold the home button while the device is off and connect it to your computer. Continue holding the home button until you see a graphic with the iTunes logo with a picture of a USB cable below it.
4) iTunes should give you a message that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click ok and then select Restore iPhone. iTunes will download a fresh copy of iOS and then wipe the device and restore it. Depending on the speed of your computer's internet connection this may take a while. Just leave the iphone connected to your computer until it's finished.
If itunes is not detecting it at all or is Not giving you the message that the phone is locked with a passcode, you may end up having to reinstall itunes. This seems to be a fairly common problem after the most recent itunes update (11.1.5)
If this is the case and you happen to be running a windows based computer you will have to uninstall itunes in this order from your programs and features option in control panel:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Then download and reinstall itunes from itunes.com try putting your device into recovery mode again and restore.
