Problem in creating DLL for a LabVIEW VI

Hi
I am facing problems in creating DLL for a LabVIEW VI. Previously i had no problems in creating DLL for the VI that transmits a message from serial port to NI - PXI 7831-R Reconfigurable I/O card (configured by FPGA MOdule). When i try the same VI with a customized port developed using IVI drivers i am not able to create the DLL. It gives me error as follows:
Fatal Internal error: "datamgr.cpp", Line No: 1882
Please somebody help me out to fix this error.

Subramania Bharathi

Hi,
Thanks for your curiosity in replying my questions. I am really sorry for replying so late. Actually the problem was with the NI SWITCH 2503 functions. Actually i was multiplexing the channels of my customized serial port using NI Switch module. This switching is done before i start my communication. My VI follows a sequence as follows.
1. Connect two channelss using Switch functions
2. configuration of both FPGA and the customized port
3. Transmit data from the port
4. Receive it in FPGA.
5. Reset the channels using Switch functions
I never expected that the error was because of NI Switch. When i removed them from my VI i was able to create the DLL and able to create sequence successfully to run in the Testsand. And
further i am using Switch Executive for swithcing the channels in TestStand.
But now i am very curious why it posted me that error when i used my NI Switch function?? I tried to create DLL for a VI that switches two channels and i was successful. But the error occurs only when i combine i with my FPGA functions!! If you could trace out the reason, please let me know
Once again thanks a lot for your support

    Hi,
    I am facing following problem while create PO for calibration order PR:
    "Comparison of the field selection strings from the G/L account 8000010800 and the account assignment category F reveals that there is an incompatible combination of field selections for the field selection group 'Network'.
    The G/L account field selection is stored in table T004F; that for the account assignment is stored in table T162K."
    Can anybody help me urgently.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    Check the field selection for account assignment category & Field status group of G/L 8000010800.
    Compare both & set the field selection equally in both.

  • Problem in creating template for the accounting transactions

    Hi,
    suppose for making an entry through fb50 we have to enter g/l a/c no. in that particular field but if some one does not want his end user to make an entry to this field other than putting an entry through his end user he wants system to take the required g/l a/c by default is it possible by creating template for that particular postings? if yes how to generate the template? i have tried to make a template through the recurring entries but not succeeded in that , so please help me.
    Thanking You
    santosh rothe
    9421542585

    You can create a template with a particular account code string from within FB50.
    Make sure you have the tree turned on (Tree On/ Tree Off button toggles display).
    Once you have entered the standard coding, right click on the Account Assignment Template folder to get a popup menu. Select "Save Account Assignment Template". A dialog box will ask you to name the template.
    You can then instruct users to use this template to record this type of transaction.
    However, this does not prevent the user from doing direct entry or changing account code strings. If you have a situation where for a particular combination of accounting elements, whether header or detail, for which the GL should always be a particular value, you can create a substitution rule in IMG which will automatically populate the GL field with the specific GL account value. The IMG transaction is OBBH.

    Hi,
    In MRP2 view the "Procurrement type" should be "F" for creation of PO for any material and Purchasing view also should be extended for that.
    First you extend the MRP views in MM50 if views are not available and maintain the procurement type indicator as F
    If MRP views are available definitely it will show you the "procurement type" field.
    If the above solution is not useful to you please let me know what is the exact error message you are getting in creation of PO.

  • Problem while creating index for temporary table...

    Hi,
    i have created index for a temporary table and this script should used by multiusers.So when second user connecting to it is giving index i mean object already exists.
    So what i need is when the second user connected the script should create one more index on temporary table.Will sql server provide any random way of creating indexes if the index exists already with that name??
    Thank You,

    Nope..
    SQL Server is cleaver enough to handel this situation.
    When you create a index or constraint on the Temp Table, eventhough the index name is duplicate it will allow.
    But it only possible on temp tables (prefixed with single #).
    To Test this,
    Open Two window,
    Execute the below window on the opened 2 window..
    create table #test
                id int
    Insert Into #test values(1);
    Insert Into #test values(2);
    Create clustered index testindex on #test(id)
    Now you wont get any error on any of the window. Rite?
    To fetch the created index details, execute the below code on any one of the window..
    select * from sysindexes where name like '%test%'
    Now you can see the 2 rows with same indexname but refereing with different table. Yes. all the temp tables (#) will be suffixed with unique number to avoid the object already found error while multiple users connects.

  • Problem in creating Entity for view which has "INSTEAD OF " trigger

    Hi ,
    I have an entity based on a Non updatable Database view (DB_VIEW).this database view has an INSTEAD OF trigger which validates
    and save data into a table.
    And I have a BC4J view based on this entity.
    Problem :
    When I try to insert a record using bc4j view object,I get following error
    ORA-22816: unsupported feature with RETURNING clause
    Query sent by view Object is :
    BEGIN INSERT INTO DB_VIEW(COLUMN1,COLUMN2,COLUMN3) VALUES (:1,:2,:3) RETURNING ROWID INTO
    :4; END;
    I am not able to insert any record in that view.
    I tried removing rowID from my BC4J entity and View but problem is that in Databae view there is no
    column which can be set as a primary key other then ROWID.

    I had the same problem.
    Oracle 9.2 sadly does not support the RETURNING clause for database views with INSTEAD OF triggers.
    Here is Steves Solution:
    1. Create a custom entity def impl class for your entity on the Java panel
    2. override the isUseReturningClause() and return false
    That should work in 9.0.3.4, 9.0.4 build 1419, and 9.0.5.1 production.
    from How to disable generation of RETURNING clause?

  • Problem in creating jar for ejb

    hi,
    I want just to try to compile and deploy my ejb in the new version of bea weblogic

    There is no such problem when using weblogic 6.x, I can create the jar package

    I did this :
    java weblogic.ejbc stage/temp_myejb.jar stage/my_ejb.jar

    hi Deepak,
    Thanks for the answer.
    I do put the ejb-jar.xml and the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml in the META-INF dir of the
    temp_my_ejb.jar file. I use the bmp entity bean so I guess I do not need to put
    the weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml.
    Should I missed to put these deployment descriptors in the META-INF, I should
    not then be able to deploy my ejb in weblogic 6.x. But in fact I can deploy it
    using weblogic 6.x.
    TIA.

  • Problem about temperature unit for SGL, LabVIEW 7.0 and 7.1

    A question about temperature unit for SGL and DBL, LabVIEW 7.0 and 7.1.
    The attachment is a test VI.
    From running the test.vi it shows that the temperature units Cdeg and degC are different (why?), and Cdeg and K seem to be same.
    For a SGL control in degC unit (i.e. "temperature 3" in frontpanel of test.vi), the default value can not set to zero. When set the default value to 0, it shows -6.10352E-6.
    The similar problem exists for the units Fdeg and degF.
    Could anyone please give me an explanation?
    Thank you,
    Xu
    Attachments:
    test.vi ‏28 KB

    Cdeg is another way of saying "In degrees defined by the Celsuis scale starting from absolute zero". So it is the same as Kelvin.
    degC is another way of saying "In degrees defined by the Celsius scale starting from the freezing point of pure water at sea level".
    As for missing zero by a about six microdegrees, it is because when units are used, the values are always converted to base units. The base unit for tempurature is Kelvin. 0 degC just happens to be a bit off from what a computer can give for that many degrees Kelvin. I am not sure why it is changing your input, however.

    The field DOCUMENT contains a number of documents a mixture of .doc and .pdf files. These where uploaded using the code wizards for the web toolkit. Now I want to INDEX DOCUMENT so I can implement a web search facility.
    I'm currently following the xamples on http://download-west.oracle.com/otndoc/oracle9i/901_doc/text.901/a90121/cdatadi3.htm#43365 NESTED_DATASTORE Example (Intermedia Documentation)
    I did this

    ctx_ddl.set_attribute('ntds','nested_column', 'dummy');
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute('ntds','nested_type', 'ordsys.orddoc');
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute('ntds','nested_lineno','source');
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute('ntds','nested_text', 'comments');
    when creating the index using ntds it is complaining about ordsys.orddoc
    create index docindx on docs(dummy) indextype is ctxsys.context parameters('data

    I'm not convince on the 'nested_lineno' parameter can anybody tell me how this can be done.

    I'm forced to use ordsys.orddoc since 'interMedia Code Wizard for the PL/SQL Gateway' won't generate the code for a clob it only recognizes intermedia objects.
    since orddoc.comments is a clob I cannot see why there shouldn't be a way to index it. What's the use of storing documents in ORDDOC when you can't search them??

    You didn't put /I or -I before the C:\j2sdk1.4.2_17\include\win32 but I didn't use cl for compiling C or C++ code to dll, so I didn't know command line arguments very well. I prefer to use gcc for compiling, C or C++ source code for that purpose.

  • Problem in creating Invoice for Repair Order.

    Hi,
    We have a repair order on the production system, which has 3 line items. The statuses of the first two line times are completed and the repair invoice is generated for both items.
    The problem is with the third item. The system status of the third item shows as <b>PARTIALLY REPAIRED (Business decision made / Partially repaired)</b>.on analyzing further we found that service order is generated for this repair item and the system status in the service order is <b>CLSD PCNF MANC PRC  RET  SETC.</b>
    The invoice is not getting generated for the above mentioned item. The error message says <i><b>“Billing is not possible because repair is not complete”.</b></i>
    Can anybodytell how we can rectify this and generate the invoice.
    Regards...

    Cant you change the status to repair complete in the change mode (IW52)?
    that should solve your issue.

I have rebuilt the fndext.jar file on external server, and placed it at required path. after doing all these we created fnd user with UMX/APPS_SCHEMA_CONNECT role but I'm not able to create DataSource every time I'm getiing invalid username/password error, properties my connection are below:
    Driver Class Name:: oracle.apps.fnd.ext.jdbc.datasource.AppsDataSource
    Properties:
    user=ASYSTEM
    dbcFile=D:\adf\VISI121_FCN15152-L.INDIA.RAPIDIGM.COM
    Database user name as FND user name and FND user's pwd
    Error Stack:

    Please help.
    Regards,
    Reetesh Sharma

    I'm trying to create EBS DataSource to integrate ADF application with EBS, for this I have followed steps mentioned in Document 974949.1 but still I'm not able to move forward.
    Why? What is the issue?
    For this Do I need to install Oracle E-Business Suite AccessGate. But this is not mentioned in Metalink Doc. This I'm trying on Weblogic server on Windows.
    AccessGate requires extra steps for EBS integration as mentioned in (Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle Access Manager 11gR1 PS2 (11.1.1.7.0) using Oracle E-Business Suite AccessGate (Doc ID 1543803.1)) which I believe is not required here.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • Problem with creating release for Scheduling agremenyt

    Hi
    iam getting this error while generating release for the delivery schedules
    the error details are "  Reason no:25  reason:06 857 No Message record found"
    How to solve this issue i have maintained teh release profile and assigned to schedulin agreement additional datas.
    Is generating release is just communication to vendor about delivery schedules.If teh schedulking agreement type is LPA(with release) then after generating release only is it possible to do GR for the delivery schedule lines.

    Hi,
    It is linked in the message config in the SPRO
    MM > Purchasing > Messages > Output control > Message determination schema > Define message determination schemas for Scheduling agreeement release.
    When you have checked this you will see the condition types that are relevant, go to MN10 and make sure that you have an entry for each condition type that you are using.
