Problem in displaying dynamic values in dropdown list for each row

I want to display dynamic values in a drop down list for each row, and these values depends on the column value in each row(ptaid), based on each ptaid i need to fetch values for drop down list. so how can i achieve this..

Where is this example spreadsheet? Without seeing it I can only guess at what you are asking.
To make a drop-down list (a pop-up menu in Numbers-speak), format the cell as a pop-up then edit and add to the list of items.
If the example spreadsheet is pulling in a dollar value based on what car you chose in the pop-up, it is probably using LOOKUP or one of the other lookup functions, getting the information from another table (a lookup table). If, instead, these dollar values are what you are choosing in the pop-up, then you need to create a pop-up with these values in it.
The Help menu includes a link to a page where you can download the Numbers Users Manual. It also has a link to the Formulas and Functions guide. Both are useful to new users.

Editable Inline Table with a Dropdown List in Each Row

I am using: JDev 10.1.3.3 + JSF + BC
I need to build a dropdown List in each row for a child table of an inline style. I used the SelectOneChoice and followed Steve Muench example (http://radio.weblogs.com/0118231/stories/2005/06/24/jdeveloperAdfScreencasts.html). I'm unable to get the result. It display the correct value but lose the dropdown style, rather it shows the result as an outputText style.
Can someone please help...
I've tried different way like the table binding by droping the column from the dataControl as a selectOneChoice and did the binding... didn't work.
This is what I have in the source page

looks ok except for: "#{detailRow.CustId}"
did you change the var property of the table? normally it would be "#{row.CustId}"
the fact that your select one choice is not displaying would suggest that there is a problem with the 'value' property of the component.
there is another problem you should be made aware of with ADF editiable tables. If you put anything other than input text components in the table you will have chronic locking problems with the page. Only one person can use that page or else you will get errors all over the page until the user holding the lock commits or signs off.

Update primary key with a tabular form based on a select list for each row

Now I want to change the primary key values in table2.column1 with a tabular form (MRU) based on a select list (LOV based on table1.column1) for each row.
The user should be able to choose for every row a new value from the select list to change the old primary key value at this position.
How can I do this with ApEx?
I've the tabular form and so on, but at the moment I get the following error:

I have a list of usernames in the table and I want to display it on the list (not selection list)...when I click any usernames, the corresponding user details are to be displayed on the items..can anyone say how to display the usernames in the list by using the query? Is it possible to display the dynamic items(fetching from table) in the list? please help me...

Calculating dynamic values from dropdown lists

Hi all, here's the noob question of the day
I'm creating an invoice form in LiveCycle Designer and I'm totally stuck at tax calculations:
for each product you're able to choose between two tax percentages from a dropdown list and, at the end of the form, I want to show a total amount of each tax.

How can I set the + TAX 4% and + TAX 7% fields to grab their respective product rows?
Sorry for my bad english.. I hope you get the question!

You woudl have to look at each row inside of a for loop and then determine if that row had 4% or 7% tax. Then you coudl keep a running total of the tax for you calcultions such that when the for loop ended you would have the 4 and 7% totals calculated.

You can create one input text field and make it visible when a user choses non billable option in dropdown 1, using -
<this>.presence = "visible";
when billable is chosen from dropdown 1, I can think of two ways.
- Since you have binding 'billable' options with second dropdown, make it visible when billabile option is chosen.
- you can also populate the second dropdown using javascript (something like dependent dropdowns) when billable option is chosen.

     seconddropdown = xfa.resolveNodes("xfa.record.ITAB.DATA[ *]");
     for ( var k = 0; k < seconddropdown.length ; k++)

Listbox displaying dynamic values in table control

Hi Experts,
The requirement that I have is that there are two columns in an internal table out of which second one is a listbox.
There is a need of displaying dynamic values in a row in a listbox according to value entered in first column of the same row, not affecting the listbox values in other rows.
I am using VRM_SET_VALUES for populating listbox, but it results in populating the listbox in all other rows also.

M facing problem in displaying top of page in list .
M using following methods:-
lr_outer_grid TYPE REF TO cl_salv_form_layout_grid,
lr_inner_grid TYPE REF TO cl_salv_form_layout_grid,
lr_label TYPE REF TO cl_salv_form_label,
lr_text TYPE REF TO cl_salv_form_text.
For displaying the top of page m using event TOP_OF_PAGE.
CREATE OBJECT lr_outer_grid.
*Outer grid
lr_inner_grid = lr_outer_grid->create_grid(
row = 1
column = 1 ).
*... create lable information in inner_grid
User ID
lr_label = lr_inner_grid->create_label(
row = 1
column = 1
text = text-h03 ).
*... create text information in inner_grid
lr_text = lr_inner_grid->create_text(
row = 1
column = 2
text = sy-uname ).
*... set label for text
lr_label->set_label_for( lr_text ).
But while m going to do same coding for second parameter its not intializing length so adding extra spaces while displaying second row.
e.g

PLANT         jhk            to hjk
I want that output should look like
USERID      abcdefghjik
PLANT        jhk to hjk
Please tell me the solution what should i do for avoiding extra space

I understood that you have to Display both key and Text.
If so Concatenate both Key and Text .
I mean,
TYPE-POOLS : VRM.
DATA : T_VRM TYPE VRM_VALUES,

CONCATENATE WA_VRM-KEY 'Field1' INTO

CONCATENATE WA_VRM-KEY 'Hi' INTO
                   WA_VRM-TEXT SEPERATED BY SPACE.

CONCATENATE WA_VRM-KEY 'Hello' INTO
                   WA_VRM-TEXT SEPERATED BY SPACE.

Hi,
Expand the Attribute Period_type and double click on its GET_V method.
You will find following code line :
lr_ddlb->set_selection_table( me->job_wizard ).
Double click on the Set_selection_table method to open the method code.
You will find a LOOP.. ENDLOOP there. Here,to remove the values, comment out this LOOP- ENDLOOP.
and add following lines
         ls_ddlb-key   = 'Y'.
        ls_ddlb-value = 'Yearly'.
        APPEND ls_ddlb TO me->ddlb.

Try using POPUP_GET_VALUES function module in the begining of the Function module this gives a POP to provide a value to you

Check the import parameters of this Function module if it has COMBOBOX as parameter ( I dont have SAP access at this point of time) you can pass X to it so you get List box for the following fields
