Problem in dynamic file configuration

Hi All,
I am working on a scenario for which different files must be generated for each recorset.
The file name should be generated dynamically based on the input fields.
I am able to generate different files but with same file name for all the files.
I have used the blog "/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/11/10/xi-the-same-filename-from-a-sender-to-a-receiver-file-adapter--sp14 as reference..
please help me out .

Hi Rajesh,
In the Michal's blog that you are following, the FileName attribute is selected. And if you select it the file name of the source and the target will be the same. To avoid such a situation, you deselect the check box and then create an UDF. Using the UDF you can assign different dynamic names to ur files.
In the blog he has used get function to access the variable. Similarly you can use set function to dynamically assign the names to the files.

I m getting file name in dynamic configuration in SXMB_MONI but payload is empty.Actually i have to pass this payload to BPM.

I understand that using the filename you would like to do the validations, but, am not able to get the entire flow, inclduing your BPM flow.
If you give us the entire interface flow, it would be helpful to understand the problem better.
Just a quick note : Try to do the mapping that gets the filename outside the BPM if you do not get this inside the BPM.
Have not tried this, but I have seen a few posts which found that the dynamic parametrs were not accesible inside the BPM.

you can do it much easier with dynamic configuraiton

so you can easily set it for file adapter to set the file name

Mapping Exception during Dynamic file configuration

Hello,
I have to configure the file adapter such that the file name is configured dynamically.
I wrote a UDF which gives the following error.

Problem in dynamic file name in File reciever adapater

I have given my file name as
%abc%.txt
and in the advanced mode
i have given
Additional parameters as
abc=

while my file reciver structure is

<ns:file_receiver_mt xmlns:ns="urn:filetofiledemo"><recordset><data><name></name><age></age></data></recordset><FileNameNode><FileName>Amit123</FileName></FileNameNode></ns:file_receiver_mt>
My file is getting store as %abc%.txt
not as Amit123.txt
I am using SP 14 .
Any pointers wld be very helpful

Hi Amit,
In your filename field. just give a variable with % symbols. (eg: %file% ).
Now, under the option Variable Name Substitution, you can give how the value has to be created.
It can be your interface name, sender service name, etc or it can be some value dynamically from your payload.
For the former, your give
message:interface_name ,etc
and for the payload part you give,
Payload: "your element root which u wanna acecss"

Apart from my previous post, you can also use Adapter Specific Identifiers in your Sender and Receiver File Adapters to copy the same file name from the source to the target.

ZZZ    Millisec value of Current Time Instance
YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS    time stamp
i know the adding the time stamp but this requirement is quite different..

Dynamic File Name depending on the Source File name

Hi Experts,
I have a problem like Dynamic File name depending on the Source File Name. I will explain with example as follwos
Source File name                 Targer Folder/Filename
NK01.VR59.L2007030         VR59/Rec.l200
NK01.VR71.L2017030         VR71/Rec.l201
NK01.VR77.L2027030         VR77/Rec.l202
See above the exaple, Depending on the Source file name, I am deciding where i need to place my file and what name i need to name it.
So please suggest me the solution and How can i do this with a single communication channel ? Do i need to create multiple CC for each folder??

Thanks for quick reply. But i am getting error in End to End Scenarios only. If i remove the Return " " statement from the UDF, while activating it is showing the error saying like missing return statement. I also mapped to the top most node to this UDF.

Open Dynamic file in a Directory

Hi,
I Have a Directory name like "Location" in that directory the users are post daily a file like IL0012, IL0013,ILdd like that.So i wnat to open that file in read mode so i tried to open like this
f1 utl_file.file_type;
begin
f1:=utl_file.fopen(location,'%IL%','r',6000);
end.
like that above i have permisions to Location directory.and also after reading file i want to delete that file If i have a fixed filen name i ma bale to read file but the problem is for dynamic file name.
any help

Your problem is not clear. What is the problem with dynamic file? Do you want to work with a single file or multiple files in that directory? If it is a single file then how do you determine which file you want to work with?
If you want to work with all the files there then probably try something like, loop through some dynamic construction of IL followed by 4 character left padded value of number from 1 to 31/365/whatever you want.
use the UTL_FILE.FGETATTR to know if the file exists, open it, read it and do what you want.
use the UTL_FILE.FREMOVE to delete the file, if you have permissions.
PS: I don't have permissions here to demonstrate an example.

I just moved my itunes library from a win 7 computer to a win 8.1 computer. Getting an error message "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly. Can't play CDs or get audio file from web!

Help! I just moved my itunes library from a Win 7 computer to a new Win 8.1 computer following the instructions on the itunes website. Everything is good except I'm getting an error message on the Win 8 computer if I try to play a CD or get an audio file off of the internet. I get an error message that says "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly. I don't know where to look for or fix the audio configuration on the win 8 computer. As far as I can tell the iTunes configuration looks the same as on the other computers in the house. At this point I don't dare plug my ipod touch into the Win 8 computer for fear it will get messed up.

I have the same problem and I know that it is due to my PCI Audio driver not being compatible with WIndows 8.1.
iTunes isn't the only program that can't direct sound to the built-in speakers anymore. The obvious solution would be to update the drivers, but unfortunately Dell does not provide an updated driver for my model, so I am stuck with that.
However, saying that, only my laptop speakers are affected by this. I can use sound fine on applications where I can choose the output device and direct sound to the head phones, but for some reason iTunes does not let you choose the audio device manually.
To listen to music I imported the iTunes Library in Windows Media Player and changed the audio output using the following instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/c00d11ba
However, I would also like to rent movie's from iTunes,
Would be great if iTunes would let you choose the output device, too, like most other applications using sound from Skype to Windows Media Player,...

Problem in dynamically generating the file upload field

I am using netbeans 5.5 and visualwebpack for my jsf project.
i have a problem in dynamically generating the file upload field and using it.
I have a panel say "panelA" which holds file upload fields.
Depending upon the count value i generate the file upload field using following code snippet:
Upload upload1 = new Upload();
upload1.setId("upload1");
getPanelA.getChildren().add(upload1);
The page successfully shows up the file upload fields. While the user clicks the submit button, i have used following logic to perform upload:
List components = getPanelA().getChildren();
for(int i = 0; i<components.size(); i++){
if(components.get(i) instanceof Upload){
UploadedFile uploadedFile = ((Upload)components.get(i)).getUploadedFile();
I am getting this UploadedFile object null.
How can i solve this problem.

Anyway,
I solved the problem.
Actually i was using label property of the upload field due to which i got null pointer exception.
I removed the label property of the upload field and things worked as i wanted.

To make the swf file - pull its photo array - from a dynamic XML file path
Scenario:

When that URL is called by a browser
An XML file called 2092.xml is created in a /tmp/ directory
viewTour.php passes the ‘dynamic’ file path to the swf via the params

The original AS2:

my debugging tells me that i have an undefined error
I'm thinking - xml.load(filePath)
is not recognizing the string as a file path to the XML
Does anyone have any suggestions? thank you

CSS Image loading problem by dynamically loading from fxml file?

The application I am developing loads an FXML file from a Controller. The FXML uses CSS and images for buttons are set in the CSS.

i done like dynamic file send port:
Port_7(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.Address)="sw"; --> sw is path location string type variable
Port_7(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.TransportType)="FILE";
here sw is path location :C:\Users\00134\Desktop\Rec\sqltest\senddate.
but it is not working where im wrong?
