Problem in interfaces

hi all,
I have some queires on ooabap interfaces-
1) Is it mandatory to implement all the methods thats are declared in an interface.
interface ifac.
methods: i1.
methods:i2.
endinterface.
from above example is it mandatory to implement both the methods i1,i2 in a class/every class in the current program.
2)can i implement a particular method(say i2) in a class and vomit i1.

I hope you mean "omit 1"....
Anyway - why don't you try it and see what happens. Please post the results back here.

Problem in Interface Determination

Hi All,
While trying to do webservices using webdynpro i was able to do the repository part without any errors but while trying to do configuration i'm facing a problem in interface determination.
I'm unable to find my interface mapping in the interface determination.
While trying to search for the interface mapping its showing me as "no objects found".
Could anyone help me out in this regard.

Hi,
As said by Moorthy, you should able to see interface mapping.You just Copy the interface mapping name from IR and insert at Interface Mapping in interface determination.To insert Interface mapping , right click choose Insert option from context.Save & activate Interface determination.If it is activated successfully every thing is ok.Otherwise once you should check as said by Moorthy and check Namespace of Interface too.Hope this will solve your problem.

Bean problem: No interface classes found

I try to create a adapter . according to tutorial "How To Create Modules for the J2EE Adapter Engine"

Although I did all steps in it , I copied sda files and extract them then I imported them to the project but I get this error in Netweaver Studio "Bean problem: No interface classes found" while creating ejb file.
the document says you must close and reopen project when you come accross this error but it doesnt work?
Is there any one solve this error?
ps: I use NWDS 7.0.19 , I copied aii_af_lib.sda, aii_af_svc.sda and aii_af_cpa_svc.sda files from PI 7.01

Did you download and "import" these JAR files into your NWDS Build Path - classpath variables:

com.sap.aii.af.ms.ifc_api.jar     <bin>/interfaces/com.sap.aii.af.ms.ifc/lib
<bin> stands for: /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance-id>/j2ee/cluster/bin in a PI 7.1 system.
Windows -> Preferences -> Build Path -> Classpath Variables -> New ...
Choose a name of your choice and then select the JAR files mentioned above.
This should resolve your problem.

Problem In Interface Mapping

Hi,
I am having an Interface Mapping involving two mapping programs in the following sequence:
1) Message Mapping
2) Java Mapping
There are two Message Interfaces on the source side and one MI on the target side. Now the problem is that only the Java mapping is getting executed not the Message Mapping.
Please note the following points:
1) There is no error while executing the Interface Mapping.
2) The Message Mapping is getting executed perfectly.
Please let me know what could be the possible error.

Hi Abhishek,
As you said you have two source structure and one target structure.
after executing the first mapping output is not same as the input required by the second mapping.
Also keep in mind that you can not persist the message here so the output of first mapping should not modify the structure. You can anly modify the values.
you can confirm the same with some dummy scenario

Problem in Interface determination for multiple MM

Hi experts,
i designed an IDOC to Jdbc scenario.
The particular thing is that I have TWO message mappings to apply for the same source and same target.
Hence, I have in my directory two scenarios with :
- same Reveicer Determination
- same Interface Determination
- differents Receiver agreements (i have two Communication Channels)
In my interface determination, I have configured a standard Interface determination with my two interface mappings to apply.
My problem is when I send an idoc, the result should be for my two interfaces differents payloads to inject to the database, but I get the same payload for both interfaces with the same namespace...it looks like it only use one Interface mapping instead of both...
It is driving me crazy...
Any help would be greatly appreciated

i have the same receiver.
I do have two interface mappings in my interface determination. The problem is that it uses the same for both interface.
If I use enhanced ID, i can only specify one Interface mapping.
What I want :
- sender A - Message mapping 1 - receiver A
- and also sender A - Message mapping 2 - receiver A
when the idoc is sent.
what I have right now (though my configuration seems to be right) :
- sender A - Message mapping 1 - receiver A
- and also sender A - Message mapping 1- receiver A

Problem with interface - when send the data for PA0002

Hi Gurus,
I am interfacing employees data from one system to another system with all the PA infotypes.
we are using the fuction module " HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA " to upload the master data. Here the problem is, when we send the data - in destination system all the segments have the data correctly . But middle name is not loaded in to the system. Problem with only middle name.
But, here strange thing is, when i resend the idocs it is laoded correctly all the fields with middle name also.
I am unable to figure out the problem .. Please let me know if you have any advise on this ..

W500 - Internet Browser / Gaming Resolution Problem. Interface and UI too small / tiny

Hi guys,
Whenever I start up Mozzilla Firefox or Google Chrome, the interface appears tiny and distorted.
When I start up:
-Google Chrome: I get roughly normal sized pages, but the chrome user interface is too tiny!
-Mozzilla Firefox: I get small pages and a small interface.
Also, whenever I try to play a game called Runescape (Don't judge, lol), the java interface is really tiny compared to normal computers I play on.

No, I believe you are mistaken:
#1. I know that you can use CTRL-+ and CTRL-- to increase the font size. I'm talking about the physical size of the browser INTERFACE, not the page itself. All of my icons (Home, options, back button) are tiny!
#2. I have my screen DPI settings for fonts at max! Screenshot:

#3. The "Set Custom Text Size (DPI)" does not change the way my interface looks, just the text on a page.
#4. Runescape, the game I have played for so long now has shrunk because of these graphical issues! Here is a screenshot. You can go to that same address and compare the size of the game on your screen to the size of the game on mine.

Java Language problem: Multiple interfaces extension.

Not just any interfaces. Take a close look:
public interface interface1 {
public void aMethod();
public interface Interface2 {
public void aMethod() throws Exception();
}As you can see, both interfaces define a single method with the same signature... but one of them throws Exception.
Consider "merging" these two interfaces:
public interface Interface3 extends Interface1, Interface2 {}Should the resulting method throw Exception? Eclipse says it does. But I think it shouldn't. Here's the logic:
If the method in Interface3 DIDN'T throw Exception, it would be able to extends the method in Interface1 and Interface2, because it is not throwing checked exceptions not thrown in the superinterfaces' methods definitions... however, as It DOES throw Exception, it can't extend the method in Interface1, because Interface1's method doesn't throw Exception. Am I right?

It's not a naming problem. I'll tell you where the problem comes from:
I'm working with EJBs. I (personally) like to separete the business "signatures" of the beans in a single interface.
So, for every bean I make, I have a single interface that defines the method.... it says NOTHING about the beans.
Remote beans methods have to throw RemoteException, so I have to throw RemoteException in my business logic classes. I then make two interfaces that implement this interface. One remote (that just extends this interface and EJBRemote) and another local that extends EJBLocal and overrides all the methods so they don't throw RemoteExceptions (Local bean interfaces' methods must NOT throw RemoteException).
For example:

public void aMethod() throws RemoteExeption();
public interface Bean extends EJBRemote, BeanInterface {}
public interface BeanLocal extends EJBLocalObject , Beaninterface {
public void aMethod();
}No problem so far.
Here's where the mess comences:
I want to EXTEND this bean interfaces so I make a bean based on the former.
I will add another method to the business interface of the new bean:
Business Interface
public interface ExtendedBeanInterface extends BeanInterface {
public void newMethod() throws RemoteException;
}This new interface defines the new method and inherits the method from BeanInterface
Remote Interface of the new bean:
public interface ExtendedBean extends ExtendedBeanInterface, EJBObject {}Nothing wo do there.
Here is the real problem:
I have to extend the ExtendedBeanInterface, but that will bring two methods that throw Remote Exception. I have no problem overriding both methods in this interface.. but how about if thyere are 50 methods in the BeanInterface? I'm not going to go ahead and removing each method for evety bean I extend. That makes NO sense. What I think I should do is to extend BeanLocal so those methods that were brought from BeanInterface be known not to throw RemoteExeption.

}And THERE is where I hit the wall, because when I deploy the bean, the application server informs me that the resulting interface is throwing RemoteException (courtesy of ExtendedBeanInterface).
Accoring to my logic about Java Language, by extending BeanLocal, aMethod() shouldn't throw RemoteException as a result in ExtendedBeanLocal.
So... what is the next step? Go with JCP?

Workbench problem when interface extends interface

Hi,
I have a problem when importing an existing class into Toplink Workbench. This class has a getter/setter on a property, say getAccountType() where AccountType is an interface. This property is not persistent, only a string representation of its value stored in a private field. So as far as Toplink is concerned, the interface AccountType is not persistent.
When I try to import, I get an ExternalClassNotFoundException. We found that the interface AccountType extends another interface and this seems to be the problem. If we remove the inheritance, the import goes fine.
I don't know if this is related, but AccountType is in my project and the super-interface is in a dependency jar file (this jar file is specified in workbench's CLASSPATH).

Unfortunately in 9.0.4, the error message you are receiving is not very helpful or accurate. My guess is that something the super-interface is referencing is not on your classpath and that is why you are getting the exception. In 10.1.3 this will not be a problem because we have changed how we load classes. Your super-interface would not actually be loaded in to the workbench.

[iPhone Beta 6] Problem with Interface Builder

I cannot open xib files created using beta 5 after updating to beta 6. The IB just hangs. Also, I tried to create new xib file, but when I browser the library view to see the component, the IB also hangs. Is anyone having the same problem?
ps: I uninstalled xcode and reinstalled it. No success.

Am also having the same issue, even when launching IB3 without loading a file.

Problem: audio interface

hi, i've got a new mac book pro 13' retina os x 10.9.3. everything is ok
but
i've got some problems with my audio interface. an M-AUDIO FAST TRACK ULTRA.
i've downloaded the driver , it works with mic and guitars using garage band...
but
when i turn off the FAST TRUCK ..the MAC turns off as well (not always, but most of the times)!!!!

Its just that it does not recognise that it is connected via the Firewire. After using it for 3 days the first day it was working fine, the second day i had the problem of it not being recognised as being ther but after fiderling with the leads it worked again, and today its doesn't want to acknoledge that its there, even though it still get power through the Bus. its might be just a faulty Box, its just a pain.

Problems with interface runnable

I have been developing an application with JDK 1.5.0_06 and applications server Apache Tomcat 1.4.31. It is a multithreaded application which uses a class that implements a runnable interface.
At the moment, this application must be compiled and executed in another machine with JDK 1.5.0_05. The problem is that when an instance of the interface Runnable is called and its method .start() executed , the instance isnt created and the method run doesn't start.
I hope you understand what I mean. If you dont , please, ask me.
Any idea? Any help? I have no idea why this is happening? any problem with the JDK? the applications server?

Runnable does not have a start() method.
What do you mean "the instance isn't created"? If you create an instance of something, it's created. If you don't, it's not.
If you call a Thread's start() method, that Thread's Runnable's run() method will be executed in a new thread of execution. If you don't, it won't.

Problem language interface

with no reason today i open indesign 5.5 and i found english interface instead italian.
I've read about regedit code to obtain a specific language and i've verified in regedit the binary value is set to italian language.
Why?
i've reinstalled indesign but i've the same problem.
i've deleted default dir C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version [version]\InDesign Defaults
i've pressed Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows)
in attached file you can see no workspace on default document opened...is normal??
but no result..i still have english language.
help me

no but in user directory i see
i've uninstall it and then reinstall indesign.
on finished setup, the adobe windows tell me to close, and the indesgn icon is clickable. So i click on it and indesign start in italian with all complete interface!!! but if i close and reopen it from start button, now it start in english.
In appdata/local/adobe/indesign/7.5 dir i see 2 dir: en_US and it_IT. If i delete en_US dir, to force id to start in italian, it start anyway in english!!
Even in appdata/roaming/adobe/indesign/7.5 i see same directory!! which is the exact dir
Exe file in: "I:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5.5\InDesign.exe"
i have not yet try the adobe clean tool ..maybe can be last solution ?!

quando envio uma nf-e ao rastrear o processo pela sxi_monitor, ela está parando para SCHEDULED FOR OUTBOUND PROCESSING.
Alguem pode me ajudar sobre esse problema?

Verifique as filas inbound na transação SMQ2.
Se tiver algum item com FAILED veja o erro e corrige, talvez apenas restartar já funciona.
As filas estão registradas ? (Veja SXMB_ADM -> Manage Queues -> Register Queues)

Exception Description: [MySampleTypeImpl] uses a non-entity [interface MyStatus] as target entity in the relationship attribute.
When I have MySampleTypeImpl defined as under

@ManyToOne
MyStatusImpl status;
And I put the interface type in the list of classes in persistence.xml it works fine. But when I have the definition of MySampleTypeImpl as below
Class MySampleTypeImpl {
@ManyToOne
MyStatus status;
Where MyStatus is an interface type I get the exception above. Is there a way out for this.
